If you want a story that only loosely follows the original story but is not the Japanese 1996 version, this Thai one is for you.
It was good because it was different and the second lead guy was so much better than his previous versions, not to mention the main guy was much nicer.
They changed the story quite a bit, and many of us found that we had no clue when they were going to get together.
Despite him being nicer however, it still took them forever to get married, which I felt was really annoying. In the anime, they get married pretty early on and then we spend the rest of the story looking at their married life.
It took them so long, that I grew really tired of it near the end and even though, I love Mike and Aom I really think that this version missed the mark. The comedy was really lost in this one. It was not all that funny.
They spent a lot of time on side characters and delayed the main romance. Also, I feel a marathon for this show is the way to go and the best way to enjoy it.
But, do not get me wrong I did enjoy this version, but, it missed some of what I loved about the original story line. In those cases, I just think of it as a different story. But, I must say I love the chemistry between the two, and I want more. We ended on really a bitter sweet ending for some of the characters.
I did enjoy the relationship between his mom and him better in this version, but, I needed more brother bonding time. I also was very disappointed that our main character who is a happy go luck girl most of the time had to be depressed for at least 5 or 6 episodes at the end.

The drama started off interesting as many awesome characters were introduced. For example, I have to talk about the actor Choi Min Soo as King SukJong. He played the character so well, I could literally feel the chills whenever he was on screen. One of my favourite aspect of the show was when his scenes came on.
Jang Geun Suk as Baek DaeGil, started off as a good for nothing young boy who eventually becomes a great swordsman as he takes revenge. I feel that he executed his character well and seeing him was a delight and definitely made it worth my while.
It was my first time seeing Yeo Jin Goo in a main role and I was pleasantly surprised. As a young actor, he acts very well and he definitely stole the limelight whenever he graced our screens with his presence.
Jun Kwang Ryul as Yi In Jwa was a menacing character that we as the audience were all meant to hate and I do feel that he did justice to the role and many times, his cunning ways made me dislike him so much.
Although there were all these interesting characters as well as amazing actors playing them, there were many pointless characters in this drama too. Characters that made me scream WHY ARE YOU EVEN HERE. That aspect was a downer because it seemed that they were just inserted for filler scenes and had no connection to the story whatsoever.
As I mentioned earlier, this drama STARTED off well however, as episodes went on ,the story had just spiraled into a totally different direction. There were many times I got confused and bored. There was no character development in some parts. The character would be saying something and then doing completely different later on with no specific justification for what and why they changed their minds. Many pointless deaths that made no sense and didn't add to the story at all. Basically, the plot went haywire at some point.
The music was actually very enjoyable, I found a couple of the songs stuck in my head and had to go and download them.
Overall, I would say if you really like sageuks and would love to see Jang Geun Suk doing amazing sword fighting then go ahead and watch it but be prepared to question the justification for certain characters or scenes.

Say what you want about idol actors, I think Lee Joon is a versatile actor. Watch Heard it Through the Grapevine if you don't trust me. He didn't fail while playing Yoon San with the right amount of strength and vulnerability. Oh Jung Se was great as Yong Goo Hyung. I enjoy him in pretty much every drama I have seen of his. He has a way of making his characters believable. Han Gyeo Wool played by Lee Se Young didn't add that much to the story, but Se Young was a joy to watch.
The person that stole the show was Lee Chung Ah as Yo Na. I totally fell for her "bad girl" character. Her character development was well written. She was really good at looking stern but subtly softening her expression when needed.
The music was appropriate.
I might rewatch this if it is a long time before the next season.
I recommend the entire Vampire series. They are well written and acted. Just prepare yourself for the fact that the seasons aren't over and the story hasn't finished.

I really liked the protagonist couple. They formed a very sweet, cute and sympathetic couple! Sometimes even sugar water! They were not that kind love and hate, that fight, cry with one another, are sullen, cause scenes of jealousy, and then quietly will hit.
The script itself the drama did not there much room for romance in itself, of course there are many scenes of the two and many kisses to. But nothing very amusing scenes and surtantes the couple, but again, still loved very Yeo Jin and Tae Hyun. The characters matched so well! Love couples who are learning and helping throughout history!
We have in the same drama melodrama, medicine, thriller, romance and action. The dialogues and personalities of all the characters were very well written and developed in history! I loved the way we have Tae Hyun as an anti hero and then gradually we acquainting us the reasons behind their actions, and at the bottom it ends up being the hero of most of the characters. Already Yeo Jin traces all that difficult path from victim to avenger.
Conclusion: I LOVED Yong Pal, in large part because of beloved actors, but also and mainly for the plot of the story and rhythm of the plot. Intermingled medicine more fight between CEO's of a very cool way, showing how power and money generate corruption everywhere, even in a hospital. And how can they do come out the worst of human beings.

I haven't watched many Taiwanese dramas, but Chen Baron as Du Zi Feng and Lai Megan as Pi Ya Nuo are good actors and had great chemistry together. Megan played Ya Nuo like a tomboy rather than a boy and I think it made her character more believable. The other actors were good also.
The music was ok, but they play the same song too much.
I might rewatch this someday.
I recommend this drama if you like mushy cute romances.

I'm aware nothing's perfect and, if I'm to rewatch "Oh, my ghost!" I might find its flaws but I'm still going for the straight A score. Why? I was so involved in this drama like I haven't been by any other in a while, the acting was on point everywhere, no one had me looking aside or sighing for their lacking abilities. The chemistry between the leads was so intense it had me thinking Jungsuk was actually in love with Boyoung because those hearts in his eyes seemed way too real. This is also my first time seeing him on screen and I'm so stalking his work from now on. I love his voice, the natural way he speaks and acts, making the character come to life. It's not the typical "cool" guy. He's someone past the loser phase who's now confident of his work as a Chef and knows where he stands, someone who has insecurities, who can do wrong and let pride get in the way but who'll quickly notice he's being a dick and try to make things up. He's trying, he's human, normal for f**k's sake, not those other robots (aka Kim Tan) who are overconfident even tho they're "supposedly" 18 and all ready to jump into eternal romance with the next poor looking girl, ya feel me?
Na Bong was boooooring. Too boring. Sun Ae came to spice up things and had me laughing to tears. The story runs quite smoothly and I could figure things out at an okay pace. It's not draggy (perhaps around the first half of the show, since I had it on hold until recently), quite entertaining and pleasing to watch, funny, the romance is very cute and, unlike most people commenting on DF, I was torn between the two of them, unaware who I should feel sorry for. People tend to pick a side but... it was impossible for me to stand for one or another - they're both precious.
I was completely taken aback around the last few episodes: I was shocked, depressed, I cried terribly and even got the feeling things got a heavy turn - way too dark and scary. I had to take a break and calm down before I could go on but the ending had me melting like butter on a frying pan... they sealed it perfectly if you ask me!!! I'm so touched and warm inside because of this show. Honestly... the lesson is magnificent. This isn't only about the romance, people. Read between the lines, please! And if you fail to do so, Bing Go will make sure you get it right on the end.
P.S.:When my Seo(bang) Inguk made his appearance I yelled and jumped off my seat! I wasn't ready! TAT I suppose they were filming High School King around the same time? Maybe not. But some many cross appearances! I love those! XD
Anyways... this one made it to fave list! Aaaand I would so recommend this drama to everyone! ^-^

When I start watching a drama with such high ratings and reviews calling it a masterpiece I try to fight of the hipe as much as I can but I still started watching Love me if you dare with a mindset of 'this is going to be good' and oh boy was I disappointed.
The drama started of strong with a badass female lead and a mysteriously intriguing male lead, but it all went downhill from there.
The STORY, while still not the best, was pretty interesting up until like 15 ep and then it just hit a rock bottom. It felt like the writers were trying sooo hard to be unique, to surprise us but it just didn't work for me, everything felt really forced. All the plot twists were kind of bleh. The romance was mature in a really boring way there was only one scene where I felt some kind of chemistry between Jin Yan and Jian Yao. Oh and don't even get me started on Jin Yan's investigation methods, you might as well label this as a Sci-Fi drama, because he came to conclusions and found out things out of nowhere (not everytime but I could name a few...) The story wasn't the worst thing, but certainly wasn't good it just didn't do anything for me, I never felt my heart racing, It didn't give me any questions to think about...
The CHARACTERS for the most part were so boring. I could not relate to them at all. Bo Jin Yan with some exceptions seemed emotionless. Sure you could say that he showed many emotions but to me he never looked human, in the end I was annoyed by the fact that he was so perfect. I wanted him to make a mistake, I wanted him to just loose his shit, because that is what I love about episodic shows, I can watch characters grow, I can see them fall and get back up again but that never happened. Maybe I am the only one who was disappointed, I saw that most people seemed to like his alien like persona but throughout the whole drama I didn't get attached to him, nor Jian Yao who went from badass to an accessory and for me dramas are all about getting attached. The only character I liked was Fu Zi Yu, he was fun, smart, freaking human like.
I think I could go on and on explaining why I think this drama is not worth the praise but despite all that I still encourage to watch Love me if you dare, because you will probably enjoy it considering the fact that I am picky as hell.

Cast - The main leads were believable and real. I thought both Ueno Juri and T.O.P. were strikingly attractive actors. If I hadn't needed to watch the subtitles I would have been totally sucked into staring at their faces. I liked Yoo In Na's side character, but she is cute in pretty much everything I've seen her in thus far. I also like the actor that played Jae Soo, but he was also eye candy. The side actors were serviceable, but could have been played by anyone really, because the two main leads just dominated the screen for me.
The only stand-out music was the song that T.O.P. sang himself. It was really pretty and just right.
While this wasn't exciting ground-breaking drama, it was a cute romantic story and I think I would totally watch it again. It's short and sweet.
If you are looking for a nice rainy day romance to watch, this is a great choice.

The story isn’t dissimilar to most high school K-dramas. But the amazing thing about K-dramas is their ability to take the same storyline and types of characters, and present them in just a slightly different way to audiences. There’s definitely a lot of cute in this show and generally makes for an enjoyable and light watch.
I can’t say Eunji didn’t do a good job in this show, as she seems to do in every drama she is in. But one thing that does disappoint me is that the character Yeon-doo does remind me of the other spunky female characters she’s played in her previous shows. I do hope she tries out other types of characters in her future projects.
I’ve not seen Lee Won Geun or Ji Soo in any major projects before this. I’ve only seen LWG in Moon Embracing the Sun but that was such a small role. These two are a revelation in this show! Their characters are quite different from each other, but they share a close friendship on the show. It really looked like they were having fun playing these characters. They both stole my heart in this show, so it’s hard to go any further without turning into a rabid fangirl, so all I’ll say is I’ll certainly be on the lookout for both these actors in their future projects.
Super props to Chae Soo Bin for playing what seemed like an absolutely irredeemable villain who went all out to ruin the lives of our protagonists, yet with an interesting backstory that still managed to pull at my heartstrings everytime. I just wanted to give her chance to redeem herself every time, no matter how many evil deeds she had done.
On a whole, the cast have great chemistry and make the show such fun to watch. Of course, there’s also the fact that it’s a high school drama and personally there’ll always be a place in my heart for high school dramas.
Another good thing about this show is it’s short at 12 episodes. The ending did feel slightly rushed and that’s a small stain on this show. Otherwise, highly recommended!

The story was great and unique, that's true. But, I felt like the romance between the two leads was underdeveloped somehow. They barely managed to spend time together, both busy with their own work. Incorporating and comparing the parallel lives of doctors and soldiers is great and ambitious, I have to say though and that was what made me watch it from the beginning.
I have no problem with the acting compartment. The two leads did their jobs. But, the second lead couple was the one who stole the scenes for me. They have even better chemistry than the main leads, no offense. Although their story was cliche, they did a great job in portraying kind of star-crossed lovers.
Music was great. I don't think I will rewatch it again because there is no scene that left a huge impression in me.
I know there are a lot of people in love with this drama. I did like the drama overall. It's just it doesn't seem to deserve the hype around it.

All three episodes are very close in quality, but episode 2 is probably the best, just because of how the tension never stops for a minute, and the ending is shocking.
Highly recommended.
