Story: Combination of Cinderella, Pretty Woman and Taming of the Shrew. An outcast, Plus-Sized, loving and devoted woman marries a handsome gold-digging man who proceeds to cheat all the while his family is abusive - all while she smiles and keeps going. She has a one-sided belief in their marriage vows, while hubby is cheating and plundering all he can. Murder, attempted murder, betrayal, lies, plastic surgery and a lonely man, what a wonderful combo. The story held me up to about eps14-15 where she is discovering her old self, new self and deciding her future self. Then the story just gets needlessly cruel and draggy with revenge. We get it writers, you needed a series of lots of evil & low moral folks surrounding a good woman. This series should have been 16eps. The remaining 5eps are just aggravating and formulaic - even the fairy tale ending... *blerg*
Acting: Female lead was entertaining, juxtaposing new & old beauty eps 1-14. After awhile she was overly treacle playing the victim role. Male lead was solid and unwavering (much better actor). The host of evil folks - all seemed too easy for them to portray flawlessly and unforgiving.
Music: I liked and catchy opening OST
ReWatch: Once was enough.

It was nice to see the heroine grow up a little over the course of the hour. The hero, however, could use a lesson in communication. I was left wondering at the end if he had in fact told her his secret or not. Hmm. My vote is that he did, but it doesn't really matter.
I did like the role the train played. Trains and train stations were the setting and eventually a metaphor for the whole shebang.
I'm not much of a fan of love stories in general, so I probably shouldn't have even bothered with this, haha. Recommended if you're looking to spend a lazy hour looking at the pretty and not trying too hard to make it all make sense. And if you're not easily frustrated by stories that go nowhere fast. Or nowhere at all, haha. (Kind of like the train line in the show...was that an intentional parallel? Probably not, lol.)

The acting/cast gets a flawless 10/10. Each cast member portrayed their characters with an eerie intensity that was a huge factor in drawing the viewer straight into the distress of the story. Kamiki Ryunosuke and Sakurai Sho's emotion was almost overwhelming in some places. (In any case, I hope the potential viewer reading this isn't as emotionally involved with dramas as I am... Although, you probably are, in which case: be warned.)
As for the music, I would've destroyed it if I could. I couldn't be sure if the BGM was to convey irony, sarcasm, satire, or what. However, if it were any different, I think the story would've felt less real and more drama-like. In any case, I still give the music a 1/10, and a +1 for Arashi's ending song (which I do really like, but it clashes so horribly with the BGM...)
Overall, you may want to be wary of the sensitive and very real psychological aspects and triggers buried within Kazoku Game, but the mystery and intrigue within the characters will keep you more than interested throughout.
... Ii~ne.

The acting was so awesome and I just love Jisung as always. Despite a lot of them being new actors I enjoyed and felt with all of them. I definitely need to see L.Joe, Gong Myung, and Lee Tae-Sun in more dramas! Not to mention, Ahn Hyo-Seop, he was barely in this I just needed more.
The drama was extened for two episodes than it was originally going for, but, I feel like it still did not waste the time it had with flash backs, instead, I enjoyed the plot as it took twists and turns. Every arc was a good part of the drama. It was lighthearted at times, but serious when it needed to be. It even gave redemption to all but one character. I enjoyed all these aspects, I need more dramas like this.
The romance in this drama is a little lacking but, the bromance is awesome! I just love Jisung and Kang Minhyuk!
The music is some of the best! I can't stop listening to these osts! The osts themselves should be enough to make you watch the drama!
This kdrama deals with some of the problems and issues of the kpop world and it does it very well. Plus, Seo Kang-joon has a cameo appearance, who does not want to see this drama?

BROMANCE- this drama in a nutshell. Instead of focusing on romance, it puts its focus on teamwork and growth/maturity, which are common elements found in school dramas (this is not a school drama though). Normally that fact itself would turn me away from it, since I tend to stick to cheesy romances, but somehow I decided to try it anyway. The story, while not totally original, was pretty well written. Character development was this show's strong point, and really shows through in Shin Suk ho the protagonist. His change is so naturally woven into the story line that by the end, I was really shocked to see how far he had come. This drama did a wonderful job and adding in touching scenes; some were so wonderfully unique that they really surprised me. They had me sympathizing with almost all of the characters, which really was the only thing that kept me invested. There were, however, some minor issues that were left unresolved at the end. I wont state them here, because no one likes spoilers right? But they weren't too noticeable and could really be ignored so it was not that big a deal for me. The plot line did not interest me all that much, but I did continue and I'm glad I did. I'm sure many of you know that it was extended for two episodes, and I think that was part of its downfall. I was really interested for the beginning and the end, but somewhere along the middle they nearly lost me.
As I said before, Ji Sung's character development was phenomenal. He was able to make you hate him in the first episode and love him in the next. His emotional portrayal was superb, as expected of course, because he's an amazing actor. I was really happy to see that Kang Min Hyuk from CNBlue would be in this drama, because he is one of my faves. Because he is an idol, I didn't expect much, but damn he blew me away. His emotional scenes were absolutely amazing, and could possibly even rival an A-list actor. I know a lot of people have complained about Hyeri being cast, but actually I think she did a fine job. She was a bit stiff at times, but she did what she needed to do for the character. What I do think though, is that her character did not need to be in this drama. She didn't really play a crucial role in the plot besides giving Ji Sung a love interest, which even as a hopeless romantic, I didn't feel that it was needed. The other actors who played the guys in the band did an awesome job as well. You'll fall in love with every single one of them and watch out for the little boy. He's going to melt your heart <3.
This drama was about music so of course it had to have a great OST. I love love love the OST for this show, especially "I see you" (which yeah can get a bit old since they played it so often) and "Lost Child". I've listened to them on a loop like a million times.
Personally, I would not rewatch it. I'm not saying it's a bad drama, but I very rarely rewatch dramas so it has to be really really good for me to do so. That said, it's a solid one time watch and I'm really glad I decided to watch it. I wouldn't say it's a must watch if you've got other shows you want to watch, but it's definitely worth a try! ^.^

I recommend anyone who sees this comment to watch this drama and forget about the low rating, this other people just don't know how to watch a drama and think about it carefully, they have an ending to a story before they even start and when its not what they expect they degrade it. Trust me and watch this drama then rate it yourself, DON'T BE LIKE THIS OTHER PEOPLE :) :) :) :) :)

LIKES AND DISLIKES:
For me, the highlight of Entertainer was definitely the bromance between Seok Ho and the 4 boys of the Entertainer Band, especially with Ha Neul. I found it heartwarming to see all the obstacles they faced together in order to pursue their passion of music. The bond between Seok Ho and Ha Neul was very touching. By the end, it felt like the Entertainer Band was a family. I also enjoyed the different character arcs of the 4 members of the band, my favourite being Yeon Soo's (which was very heart-wrenching and emotional).
In general, I liked the realistic portrayal of the Entertainment industry that this drama showed, and the development of the characters throughout the drama- you could genuinely see the amount of growth all the characters went through.
What I disliked was the unnecessary love line between Seok Ho and Geu Rin. I felt little chemistry between their characters, but I blame the writing, not the actors or the age gap between them. Some of their scenes were quite cringey to watch, and I felt like their love line was forced and out of place. I don't really think that Geu Rin's character added anything to the storyline in general. The pacing of the drama was also a problem, but eventually it improved. I didn't mind the 2-episode extension much, and I think the storyline was wrapped up nicely.
ACTING:
The actors portrayed their roles very well, especially since there were a lot of emotional scenes in the drama (a looot of man tears). Ji Sung's acting never disappoints me, and I wasn't surprised when he completely embodied the character he played and brought it to life. I would like to see him in a more complex role in the future, though. I see a lot of acting potential in Kang Min Hyuk and he delivered the emotional scenes surprisingly well. Lee Tae Sun (Na Yeon Soo) is also an actor I will definitely be keeping an eye on. I can't believe this was his first drama role and he was one of my favourite characters.
MUSIC:
I enjoyed the OST's in this drama, and the track I liked the most was A Love Before by Eunji. I wish we got to hear more tracks from the Entertainer Band, but I did like I See You and It's Okay To Cry.
OVERALL:
I wouldn't say that I would watch this drama again, but I did enjoy watching Entertainer every week. It was a very emotional journey full of ups and downs. If you are looking for a drama that is full of heart and full of bromantic moments, this is the drama for you! You might want to bring tissues ;)

This 9-episode fantasy drama is funny and sad, and the casts are adorable:
* Uehara Choko (Nakama Yukie) is pretty as always like she never ages, seriously! And she's a natural actress.
* Uehara Kohei (Sawamura Ikki). I saw his calm acting in Gokusen so I didn't see it coming—he's a comedian!
* Uehara Tonbo (Kimino Yuma) is very cute and a candy.
* Uehara Aoi (Shida Mirai) is not pretty to me but she gave justice to Aoi.
* Mifune Yoshiaki (Namase Katsuhisa). Damn hilarious!!! A veteran actor!
... However, there's just one exception—Teacher Yoshinaga. It's the way she acts that annoys me. Maybe it's the character she portrays, but cutesy acts like that really bother me because she looks immature, unnatural, almost stupid.
Ghost Mama Sousasen didn't get interesting until episode 3; so, if you couldn't feel it at the beginning, just get past the first two episodes. I'm keeping this because I might rewatch this in the future. I love the OST but I can't find it anywhere. Alas, I don't know the title.
Overall Rating: 7.5/10

At the same time, it never failed to give those butterfly in the stomach feelings and the way he stared! Mike is so commendable at the same time for taliw. This is my first time to watch a thai drama so i am not sure if they usually do this way. Theres a lot of question what happen to the "parties" i just hope they are able to explain this further because it did not make sense that the main characters will have happy ending. I love this adaption and i hope there are still part two !

Ep 1 to 20 was just so good. You watch effortlessly seeing the sparks fly between Jia Yang and Qiao Fei. The ingenuous ways he come up to make her life miserable and try to make her quit as trainee in the field of French interpreter. They clash and butt heads but Fei was resilent and refuse to give up her dream.
Then all that mess from the brother being the old flame and has a obessive nature when it comes to Fei. To the second female lead who was a tad pathethic in her love for Jia Ming but then retracted to wanting to be with Jia Yang.. mess and more mess
Then comes the mother who does extreme things like ruining her own son just to break up Jia Yang and Fei. Who does that? And to such extreme. It felt like this drama plot purposefully over inflate itself to generate angst, to fill in episodes? To drag it to pass 40episodes?
I felt like a masochist sticking with this drama to the end. Ep 28 to 36 was so hard to watch. Like 45mins of episode and only 10minutes or less worth watching.
I tell myself i need to see off Jia Yang and Fei's ending so i stuck with it til the ending . but oh boy instead of being awarded with my patience (which really is painful and teeth grinding). The last episode (heads up) isnt satisfying. It was rushed, cramped and jumbled. Didnt flow well and they try to make it dramatic but not believable. Its hard to believe the ending episode is rushed when the last 15or so episodes were so draggy. I still believ the first half that was good was written by another team of writers. If there are the same people then someone must have zap out commonsense from their heads. Like they run out of ideas what to do with the second half of the drama.
If you are wandering to watch or not. I recommend no for several reasons.
The last 1/3 compeltely deviates from the original story of being interpreters
The cliche part of being sick and the high noble road of sparing your loved ones from grief was not written well. Yes alot of dramas commit the same mistake but the way Fei did it just felt wrong. I felt it create needless grief for Jia Yang. Personally i think its selfish when you run away from your loved ones without sharing the truth and deliberately lets him misunderstand you. Her love didnt respect Jia Yang and made that decision for both of them without his knowledge.
Jia Yang's character actually went backwards in terms of growth. Yes it was nice to see him being less demonic and so loving to Fei. But then he became unprofessional when it comes to his work and career. And it was also annoying that he kept saying their love can survive it but i didnt see real actions to solve the problems. Your girlfriend keeps saying there's a big gap between them and that he didnt understand her difficulties.but he carries on as is and with regards to xiao hua and her dad. Although yes his words that their love can withstand it all, there was no action ... It was like him allowing the realtionship to fail eventually.
Jia ming, xiao hua and the guy he married. All characters i dont care for.
Qiao Fei bestfriend was ok but her love line was also not properly developed. Theres too much childish behaviour and they left it too late to the end to show changes.
If you do want to give this a try because the truth is Huang Xuan was really good and engaging as Jia Yang and sparks do fly when he sparrs with Yang Mi's Qiao Fei. Then i recommend you watch the front half of the drama up until he confess and they start dating. The second half will only make you scratch and then bang your head in frustation. So please dont suffer as i did..

If I had to describe the drama in a single word, it would be 'sincere'. Its sincerity is more apparent than any other Korean drama I have seen so far, and this is what makes it unique in my opinion. There is nothing forced, nothing fake, nothing that makes you want to punch the wall because there is no point or reason for it. You watch 'Good Doctor', and you don't feel like you're sitting behind a screen, but you are there with all the characters, in the hospital ward or the operating room, breathing the same air as them. It is hard to express the emotions that this drama brought out in me, but there was laughter and tears, a lot of pain and even more happiness.
I was aware that Joo Won is a fantastic actor by all the works I have seen, but this time he simply left me speechless. I had the pleasure to get to know some autistic people in my life, and the way he acts is simply phenomenal. His posture, his gestures, mimics, speech, even his GLANCE, Joo Won brought Park Shi On to life in a way that I hadn't thought possible. Even just for experiencing that, it would be worth a watch.
But if you don't, you'd me missing out on so much more: The medical aspect is really important in this drama, and they did a fantastic job. Now, I have never studied medicine, but all the surgeries looked SO real, that I was seriously wondering sometimes if they were just operating on props (I know they did, but... man!). However, what makes this different from other medical dramas, is the fact that Shi On has to deal with a lot of obstacles and prejudice, and he approaches things differently because of his (dis)ability. Secondly, it is a pediatrician ward, so we get to see a lot of heartwearming and heartbreaking scenes with kids. I was skeptical, thinking actors that young would surely ruin the drama. Boy, was I proven wrong. The kids had some of the most authentic and touching acting I have ever seen. Some of the veteran actors in this industry could learn a thing or two of them. However, the adult main and supporting actors in this drama equally brought out the worth of this drama. Cha Yoon Suh and Kim Do Han are clearly needed for Shi On to become the person and doctor he dreams of.
I see, this review is getting quite long, so I'll just get to the point: This drama is one of a kind and it should definitely not be missed. It is funny, touching, sincere and teaches valuable life lessons. There are no all-evil villains, but the reasoning of each of them becomes apparent. It teaches lessons about friendship, family and love. The only reason why I give this a 9 out of 10, is because near the end of the drama, I was lacking the little spark that was there during the beginning. I am not sure what it is, but there was a tiny little something missing, maybe about the romance, maybe about something else. But even so, it is one of the best I have seen and I hope it will get more recognition. 9/10

Honestly it is a good drama with a beautiful story, and as you may know or guess, yeah,, the story would deserve even 9,5 if it doesnt went downhill on the second half.If they cut off 10 episodes something, i believe this drama would make a better rating. It stands out on first half because how they play such a "translator" job mixed with romance nicely, not to mention JiaYang and QiaoFei have a great chemistry. I missed the bickering they had on the second half the most.
I will still rewatch, minus the evil and draggy part, this story is worth to rewatch. I gave such a high rate because it simply just a good drama "minus the evil part", it can be better though. I love how strong they love for each other is and that alone make it such a great thing to watch.
Spoiler? well, it is a hint of happy ending, so yea, this review might or might not be helpful at all because i just feel like it is a shame if you miss this good (minus the evil) drama!

The main reason I watched this is because of Ji Sung. I've seen many of his works before to have realised that this guy is an amazing actor. I fell in love with his characters in the past and the way he executed them, that I literally cannot pass up anything that he comes in the future.
If you're a big Kpop fan then the cast will definitely be to your liking and in my opinion, they all did a good job in portraying their roles. The four boys together had great chemistry which made me wish that they were an actual band of their own. HyeRi does take some time to gel into her own character but she eventually does and it's a delight to see her.
The story is straightforward, failed manager guy decides to make a band and make them big. Obviously, many obstacles come in the way and this is all about the character development of all the characters and how they overcome these obstacles together. The boys as a band were great so was really sweet how they slowly open up to each other about their hidden secrets and how they support each other despite all the hard comings. The chemistry between Ji Sung and Kang MinHyuk was so cute because they had a genuine brother relationship that was so exciting to see.
Overall, I enjoyed myself thoroughly seeing the connection between all the characters and how they accept each other. I would definitely recommend to try this out as you'll definitely have a warm feeling inside whilst watching this!
