If there was one word to describe the feeling Entertainer gave off, it would probably be bromance.
The band members supporting each other through different ordeals and (past & future) hardships. You would almost forget that they were just a bunch of guys, who where picked up & randomly and got thrown together because of their love for music. Don't forget Shin Suk Ho & Jo Ha Neul's bond, after the first learning about Jo Ha Neul's background. Luckily the serie isn't focused on a (forced) love line as it is kept very subtle. That being said, bromance isn't everything this drama has to offer, as the drama has an emotional storyline too.
Ji Sung did a great job portraying the protagonist, Shin Suk Ho. His character development was nice to watch throughout the story. Trying his hardest (to protect) for his loved ones and assuring everything will be alright. Even to the extent of going through something alone. It was endearing to watch. Kang Min Hyuk grew as an actor. Knowing how to portray a wronged person with the right emotions and naturally acting. He did a good job as Jo Ha Neul. Hyeri did pretty okay portraying her character, Jeong Geu Rin. Sometimes her character felt stiff and awkward. It probably has something to do with how her character was written in the drama. The casting (and acting) of the supporting roles isn't so bad but still replacable in my opinion.
Entertainer has some parts where the story feels dragged which leads to off pacing. It makes you wonder if a 2 episode extension was necessary. They ended the serie nicely though. The music is good and pleasant to listen to. It accompanies the scenes and catches the mood pretty well. Cameo appearances (Park Shin Hye, Seo Kang Joon and more) are a nice extra, fitting in with the entertainment industry setting. In the end Entertainer isn't something out of the ordinary but doesn't disappoint either.
If you are looking for a fun & rom-com drama with likable characters and some drama, you will probably enjoy Entertainer.

The subject matter dealt with... life, the uncertainty of the future, disability, friendship, accepting help, giving help, parent-child relationships, whether to stick to your talent or walk a more practical path... this drama was full of more and more good messages.
It helped that the drama was short and tight. There was no room to drag. The ending my not be for everybody. Some seemed to like it, some seemed to hate it. I didn't like it too much, but I didn't mind. It was practical and realistic. What wasn't realistic is that we never got to see the fall out from that big, abrupt finale. Also, who became the award winning pianist? Which one of them, or all 3 of them? The ending just left questions. There should have been at least a 5 minute epilogue (a real epilogue and not a recap of scenes as they like to do in kdrama) explaining what happened after. But I could also understand the way it ended. We saw a little glimpse into their lives and then we left it just as abruptly as we came in. Slice of life literally, I mean.
The music was wonderful to listen to, the acting was superb, the story was lovely.

The male lead is hilariously stiff almost all the time, which is a reference to all the horrible dramas that failed due to the main guy's lack of emotions. And the people of Dramaworld freeze momentarily every time they have a "flashback." The second male lead is literally a flower boy working at a flower shop. The murder mysteries. The background music inserts. K-drama car U-turns. The clueless main female leads. It's got a little of everything cliche smoothly sewn into the show.
So meta. SO SO META.
I wasn't going to watch this show, but now I'm SO happy I did. Boys Over Flower American version ruined my expectations for American shows with K-drama influence, and this seemed to be really dumb at first. But guess what? It is actually hilariously entertaining and it's beautifully short! I never get bored! Not even one second.
Objectively speaking, this show rocks the comedy department, but everything else is below average. The romance is not convincing. Dialogue is strange. Each episode is too short. BUT THAT'S THE POINT. This show is about pointing out the ridiculous cliches in Korean drama. And it succeeds 100%.
The sheer amount of tropes, gags, and shade thrown at K-drama just makes me gleefully happy. I found myself clapping and laughing like a child who found a treasure trove of candies. The actresses were all really skillful and believable, but the main actor's stiffness was so consistent i don't know if it's intentional or just bad acting. Anyhow, doesn't matter. He's hot.
In conclusion, watch this if you're bored. But watch with low expectations, and just relax, sit back, and don't let the cliches annoy you. Enjoy spotting them instead!

Over the episodes you really get to know the characters and realize that nobody is perfect here. Everybody has some baggage that comes in and disturbs the present.
All of your favourites will be challenged in here so be warned! Watch this with no expectations. It's a really good trip to take in the dramaland!
This of it as the Korean 'Game of Thrones'! :)

It's like watching a horror movie and covering your eyes with your hands and peeking from time to time.
IT IS A HORROR MOVIE! INCONSISTENT CHARACTERS. MAD AND CRAZY LEADS. I think Tae Jin is the only one who isn't. NOTHING FEELS RIGHT IN THIS DRAMA.

Esta resenha pode conter spoilers
*MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS, READ AT RISK!!!* (AND ALSO LONG REVIEW)First of all.....a little rant from me.
OMG, this drama was so annoying, while the the first three episode was good, somehow I just gave up when I reached episode 10. I started skipping scenes when I reached episode 10. It was almost like this in every episode, ACTION, ROMANCE, and then ACTION. And also, they killed some of the good characters while leaving the bad guys alive!
Also, another thing, I had high hope that a crazy woman won't appear in this drama. I mean this drama already have so much action, BUT then they add this one crazy woman who is also obsess with power that goes WHY YO TRYING TO SEDUCE MAH MAN! But, what was I expecting, this is a Thai drama, so I guess a crazy woman is common. ¯\(°_o)/¯
Story: 7/10
I felt like the story died a bit in the middle, somehow the story lost it's main focus between the revenge part. It was mostly the two main guy's group shooting each other throughout the episodes. I wonder what happened to the main guy's temptation to kill his rival.
Since there is no synopsis, I'll tell a bit about this drama, in my way :D.
There is this gang called Charuptiki??(something like that) that had conflict with the police, and the head honcho of the gang died, and his wife saw the man (Anon) who killed him. The wife (Nai Wuising) was like I am going to get revenge for my my husband. Also, she was also pregnant. Nai had her baby the same time the Anon's wife had, and also at the same hospital (Coincidence? I think not)
Nai was like, If I am going to get revenge, then I better do this, so she switched her baby with Anon's wife's baby. Her ultimate plan was to make Anon's son kill his own father.
Don't worry, this is basically the main point of Episode 1.
Acting: 8..5
Most of the actors were good, and did the job excellent. I don't know why, but Thai actresses and actors perform really well in their roles.
Characters: 8
I hated Cho (Main Character #1), he became the head honcho of the gang. I started to like Anawin (Main Character #2) better, but until near the end of the drama, I hated him too. Mui (the main girl) was actually pretty good, I liked her character, she really didn't need any development. There are also some other characters like Cho's group: Bupa (Annoying), Anda (*******), and Wayu (Probably one of the few character I liked throughout the drama ). And lastly the other two women: Dao (Favorite character in this drama, also Anawin's sister/Cho's biologically sister) and lastly the crazy annoying woman Venus.
Two of my favorite character were Dao and Wayu, just a brief explanation why they were.
Dao: She's brave and kicks ass! I loved the moment when she slapped and make fool of Venus. Her side of the story was sad, it killed it a bit of me. She's strong, but also fragile at heart.
Wayu: Even though he's part of Cho's gang, he's the one that later knew that he did something wrong. He tries to do many things to redeem himself, but later just turn himself in.
And also, the main reason why I continued watching this drama was because of them both.
Music: 7
There were about 2 songs in this drama. They're not memorable, I mean they are fine, but just not remarkable to me. They may speak out to other people, but to me, the music is pretty bland to me.
I guess, my whole post was more on the negative side, so I'll point out some positives:
Pro:
+Cho loves Mui throughout the whole drama
+Mui is a good female lead
+Dao
+Wayu
+Wayu's and Dao's relationship (I wish there was more!)
+Good acting by everyone
Cons:
-Betrayals
-Annoying misunderstandings. But I guess this wouldn't be Thai drama, if there wasn't misunderstanding.
-Annoying crazy woman
-So much killing -.- (There was so many gunshots and killing, this is my first time seeing so many deaths and people dying in a drama)
-Cho's mom, not his real mom
-I HATED when Cho keeps grabbing Mui's arm, I felt like her arm was going to tear off ¬_¬
-OKAY, I just have to point out this one particular scene, the part when Cho and Dao ALMOST kissed. DUDE, they are siblings, what was the writer thinking??! And that one scene when they almost got married to each other before Dao stopped the marriage. I was just like what the heck is the writer thinking? Incest?(¬_¬)
-Story somehow shifted from trying to kill Anon to the conflict between the Elite Eagle Squad (The top police group) v.s. the Charuptiki.
If you're looking for a Revenge/Action with Thai story element in it, then I guess this would be the one for you. BE WARNED THOUGH, you may get frustrated at some point of the story.
Rewatch Value: 5
NO, I would never watch this drama again! If I have to, then I would only was a video of my two favorite characters.
AND lastly, I wanna say thank you to the subbers for doing a fantastic job for subbing this drama, without them, I would have not watched this drama.
TEAM DAO+WAYU!!!

Ji Sung is my first love and I think he is one of the best actors in the business. He doesn't fail to deliver as Suk Ho who gives his all after making a horrible mistake to make things right. I fell in love with him all over again. Hyeri is fine as Geu Rin. I don't know if it was the character or her acting but I just didn't feel anything. She didn't really add anything to the drama. Can all of the members of CNBlue act or what? Kang Min Hyuk totally rocked his part as Ha Neul with an excellent mix of vulnerability and strength. The rest of the band member and cast did a great job also. Where the heck did Lee Tae Sun come from? I never would have thought this was his first drama.
The music is so awesome. I will say that it is weird that they used Nirvana for the inspiration because none of the bands music sounds like Nirvana. Maybe that is a good thing because Kurt Cobain is flawless and it is better to be totally different than to be compared. Even if you don't watch this drama, you should watch the ending of episode 16. It was totally moving.
I might rewatch the good parts for the music someday.
If you like bromance, some melodrama and good music, then this is the drama for you.
