Wow this is my first review, I apologise if it's not up to standard! (I accidentally gave it a 8.5 when it was suppose to be 9)
SO I have decided to start writing reviews after finishing a drama and I am very happy this is my first.
First of all Lee Jong Suk is a great actor, Iv never seen him in anything else but he has left a very good impression on me. And as most people know, Park Shin Hye... I can't say I LOVE her but she is a good actor and shes pretty! I think I'm just nulled by her acting, if that makes sense? She actually did a pretty great job playing In Ha though!
Story 10 because : The story is unique and Iv never seen a drama about reporters! And to go with this unique concept, it has a very good story from beginning to end. I don't think you can get bored of this drama! It has a bit of everything that I like! Romance, comedy, drama and it has somewhat of a thriller/dark tone to it.
Acting/cast 10 because : Like I said, Lee Jong Suk was pretty great! They also have a good actor like Park Shin Hye. I also loved Yoon Yoo Rae played by Lee Yoo Bi, she was a fun character to add to the story. Seo Bum Jo played by Kim Young Kwang was okay although I wasn't amazed by him. The other characters/actors were pretty great as well! I have no complaints!
Music 8 because : It didn't have a huge impact on me, it does it's part and it's nice. So I gave it a high but average rating because there was nothing wrong with it! It did it's job.
Re-watch Value 7 because : With most dramas, you never really go back to them. So I base it off 1. Will I choose to watch this again Alone or 2. Would I watch this with someone else who hasn't seen it. And my answer is, I would watch it again with another person. I have no time to re-watch a drama when I could be watching something new. However the story is great and I could definitely sit through it again.

Overall I would definitely recommend this drama to someone! If you considering it and you like the genra, then I say you should definitely watch it.
I hope you found my review helpful!

Perfect Drama!
Better than any other drama i've ever seen. It had moments of sadness , love , humor , drama , suspense everything. AND everything was presented at perfecting timing.

Story: The story presented a very different kind of issue involving the influence of media nowadays and how the words from our reporters and the media can change a person's life (and mind you in a very drastic kind of way). Oh and it has a pinocchio(a person who cannot lie) in it who becomes a reporter all the more reasons to watch the show. The writer new exactly how to present the story. She lived up to my expectations as i was wondering how she would be able to get a story better than "I Hear Your Voice". Well she did manage to do that. Some people mind find this topic kinda boring i myself did but u just have to have the courage to just watch the first episode and there you go you would be hooked to this drama!!!

Acting: Perfecting acting. It seemed as if your the part of the story yourself and u know the characters vey well. It was like these characters were made for these actors. I absolutely adore all the actors in this drama. Lee Jung Suk!!!!! Is the best. Park Shin Hye is the best. BEST SUPPORTING CAST EVERRRRR!!! My dream cast from now onwards!!! <3 eeeepppp well that pretty much sums up how i feel about that :D

Well there was every type of genre for different genre lovers except for horror. Well i think there was some kind of horror in it towards the end related to a particular persons behavior (well you have to see it to understand it). Ahhhh Park Hye Ryun your simply the best. You made me sooo happy. :D

In the end im just disappointed for one tiny bit of a reason. And that isss:

GAHHHH!!! Why did it have to end so earlyyyyy :((((. Saranghae Pinocchio you shall be remember always <3

With amazing acting from all the cast, great chemistry between the leads and good music, there is very little I can fault with this drama.

The idea of him being an alien with superpowers you have to take with a pinch of salt as it sounds (and is) a little ridiculous, however the rest of the story more than makes up for it with its fast-paced plot and cute romance. Unlike plenty of other dramas which have slower parts to the story (and thus becoming a tad dull) this drama held my attention throughout its 21 episodes.

Apart from that, the only other fault for me was that I found young Chun Song Yi (Kim Hyun Soo)'s acting a little monotonous. However, her part is small and it in no way affected the story for me. Both leads are cute and I loved the humour. I have, and will probably again, rewatch You Who Came From the Stars, and it will continue to be amongst my favourite dramas.

At one time or another all K-Drama viewers have been inflicted with it: a lame, tiresome redundancy due to an episode-quota that the story arc set in motion can’t carry.

In Wonderful Days, a Seoul prosecutor, who is estranged from his family, reluctantly returns home to solve a murder case. Initially, with the aid of flashbacks, the drama delves into the cause of the prosecutor’s estrangement from his family, relegating the murder case on the back burner. The estrangement aspect is done so well, one almost forgets about the murder case which is actually very cleverly embedded in the developing events. The problem is that the murder case is resolved at around the drama’s midpoint, solely putting the burden on the estrangement aspect to carry the drama, to its end.

And here, Wonderful Days resorts to all sorts of convoluted complications to ratchet up the estrangement angle only to undermine the great job it had already done: What had been dramatic, funny, clever, and light becomes melodramatic, silly, tiresome, and heavy.

Of course, having already invested so much of my time in it, I had to see Wonderful Days to its end. And typical of K-Dramas it delivers. It delivers the sort of “feel good” send off to make up for the preoccupation with Han, the Korean culture specific conception denoting guilt, resentment, and resignation that most, if not all, K-Dramas exploit, for better or worse.

Amazing writer (not surprised since it was the same writer from I Hear Your Voice). I loved watching this drama each and every week. It was never boring and all of the cast did a wonderful job.

Story: About a young group of reporters who during their training learn what a reporter is all about - are they willing to compromise just to keep their jobs or are they going to stick it out and become real reporters? They realize they can completely destroy people with just a few words - they learn and make mistakes and get back up again. And we also have the Pinocchio syndrome on her with In Ha (I loved the concept).

Cast: Ki Ha Myung/Choi Dal Po (Lee Jong Suk) He was perfect for this role, you could see him torn between love and hate, forgiveness and bitterness. I loved his relationship with his brother and his romance with In Ha, as well as his relationship with her family. Choi In Ha (Park Shin Hye) she was such a strong girl who had to be honest (and honestly I liked that) I hope she starts taking more roles like this, It really fits her. Ki Jae Myung (Yoon Gyun Sang) - the next rising star in kdrama-land I swear. I fell in love with this guy during this drama. He played his character extremely well, I totally felt with his character. He is really really good-looking too ;) (He was my screensaver on my computer for a long time lol). Seo Bum Jo (Kim Young Kwan) a mammas boy but with a heart, I liked his role on this drama. Yoon Yoo Rae (Lee Yoo Bi) one of the weirdest characters I've seen in awhile lol (she was a narcissist totally) but had a strange way of displaying it lol - she'd make me laugh and give her strange looks at the same time. Hwang Gyo Dong (Lee Pil Mo) The best leader in YGN - I loved him. I thought he was handsome too. The rest of the cast is great too.

Music: The music was very similar to the music from I Hear Your Voice, I believe the same singer sang a couple of songs too. That made me love the OST even more <3

Re-watch Value: 10 - I'll be by to watch this drama again someday ;) Overall, a very well put together drama - that deserves to get recognized.

Each episode portrays a new insight to four different lives. A very inspirational drama to always follow your dreams and never give up despite how rubbish life may get.
The life choices each individual takes and how they overcome the aftermath and come out fighting. The concept is truly needed in the world even made that more relatable because they are based on real life stories are true life stories. For they provide comfort and reassurance to those that may find themselves in need of encouragement to ‘KEEP MOVING FORWARD’ because life does get better (it just takes a while sometimes).

Definitely A MUST WATCH DRAMA

So, I've just finished School 2013 last week as part of my Drama Challenge 2015. I have no idea why I’ve waited 2 years to watch it. I enjoyed it sooo much! I regret not watching it while it aired, because that was the time when I really started to get to know dramaland and I remember noticing School 2013 back then but I didn’t bother to watch it.

I especially like the characters and their personal stories, even including their flaws and sometimes annoying behavior. It’s important for me to have interesting characters in such a drama, because you usually don’t have an attention-grabbing story for school dramas. I love that School 2013 doesn’t focus on romance so much, but rather the teacher-student-relationships and the student’s friendship is important. Of course, I have to admit that the bromance is one of the strengths of this drama but to see some womance as well is very enjoyable. You have female characters that don’t compete for their love interest and no one dimensional, evil second female leads that are sadly so common in dramaland.

School 2013 has it flaws as well, e.g. in the beginning, I was a bit confused because they switched between scenes so rapidly and then I didn’t know exactly if it was still the same day or not. But what bothers me the most is teacher Jung’s way to sometimes speak so overprotectively to her students. It just seems as if she’s talking to small babies and not high school students. If I was in that situation I would feel as if she’s making fun of me with her baby voice or doesn’t take me serious.

Despite that, it is still a very good drama! If you’re tired of romance dramas and if you want to watch something with a “normal” and not so action-packed story, you should watch School 2013. Especially if you’re into bromance ;)

This is my absolute favorite drama. There are only one or two nitpicks I can make from it, which is saying a lot. Ha Ji Won and Lee Seung Gi have perfect chemistry, really playing the part of Romeo and Juliet. I loved how Hang Ah could go from a feminine queen-to-be to badass soldier in two seconds flat with just a glance, and you can tell when she means business. You could see Jae Ha maturing with every episode, and although the inevitable romance just suddenly popped out of nowhere without any truly noticeable brooding or staring-longingly-at-significant-other, it was still easy to tell when the romance finally kicked in, and how flawlessly they worked as a team (I'm looking at you, WOC).

And can I just mention fake-America has me in stitches because I know that real-America would do similar stuff and I'm not offended?

I was rooting for Shi Kyung and Jae Shin the whole time, too... still am. I haven't cried that much because of a drama since the finale of City Hunter (you know what I mean), and it takes an awful lot to make me cry. Shi Kyung is such an adorable dork and he doesn't even know it.

I would definitely recommend this drama to someone who is in to the heart-stopping moments, hanging on to the edge of your seat with every cliffhanger, and just general badass Ha Ji Won (seriously, that carousel though...).

OVERALL
A very good drama that's got everything to please, even if there's a few inconsistencies here and there, a few wrong plot elements there and here. Watch it if you enjoyed I Hear Your Voice or you think you would. If you didn't like it, pass.

THE STORY
It's hard to try to reproduce the success of a drama in a new project without creating a show that you, the production team and the entire world of Kdrama fans know is a replica. So why pretend? Pinocchio is obviously and shamelessly a spinoff of I Hear Your Voice. The essence of the drama, a social critique made of suspense, humor and romance with a touch of supernatural, is similar. The story, heavily consisting of unexpected plot twists that grip viewers from beginning to end, is similar. Although the female lead is original, the male lead is similar in both dramas (and to make things even better, played by the same actor too). Characters of I Hear Your Voice even make cameos. I would be indignated by all of this, but the show is so much fun, the characters are so likable (except the villain, that is), the romance is so sweet, the story is so inspiring, that I couldn't care less. I Hear Your Voice might be better, but Pinocchio stands close behind. That's what I call good project recycling! On the down side, something's off about the ending. I can't pinpoint what it is...maybe too cheesy?

THE ACTING
More than the main leads, I feel like the rest of the cast really shone through Pinocchio; special kudos to the ajuhmma actresses, they were the stars of this show. Park Shin Hye I liked here more than in all her previous dramas, probably because for once she was playing someone with a backbone. Her acting also seemed more convincing, even though there's still room for improvement. Lee Jong Suk was dashing as usual, but he seriously needs to break the mold and play different roles. They made a very nice couple, with good chemistry (how come he has great chemistry with all his co-stars? Can I be one?)

THE MUSIC
Could it feel any more the same as the music of I Hear Your Voice? Anyway, it was fitting for the show, it wasn't bad to the ears, but nothing I feel the urge to google.

REWATCHABLE VALUE
High, very high.

Tiene de todo no solo amor tambien intriga y humor.

Me a encantado y la quimica entre los actores principales es maravilloso.

Espero ver algo pronto de Park Shin Hye y Lee Jong Suk

I was pleasantly surprised as I expected a light hearted comedy but got a pretty intense story about trauma. Aside from Dr. Jo, everyone in this story is a little bit on the nutty scale and very well acted, which makes for an interesting and engaging show.

What I liked:
- the transformation of Jae Yeol. Jo In Sung is the epitome of cool and it was amazing to watch how he played Jae Yeol as someone with ultimate swagger and later on as someone, who perhaps, could be seen as pitiful

- the chemistry among the roommates. loved how much they all cared so easily for each other.

- Jo In Sung and Gong Hyo jin. they make a beautiful, confident duo

What I disliked:
- poor resolution of secondary story lines. there are a LOT of interesting characters introduced along the way, don't expect any of their stories to get any satisfying resolution. everyone gets a quick line here or there, but nothing substantial or worthwhile.

- the transformation of hae soo. her story arc doesn't make a whole lot of sense. she and jae yeol are great together but she's not as likable in the end as she is in the beginning

Overall, really enjoyed the show as it was different from the standard meet-cute story of boy falls in love with girl.

*tells self to be calm while writing a review* I CAN'T BE CALM!!! DAMN!!

It's a drama which reveals new hidden secrets and information in each episode!! How exciting is that?!!

The story doesn't just end there at the climax and everything just starts to solve itself.. no.. even with the falling action after episode 10 secrets were still uncovered !!

How hard is it to give 10s these days? SUPER HARD! To the point where I'm not watching anything -.- Kdrama is going downhill, but THIS cam to the rescue...

Story...

As I said the story has SO much hidden around the corner, so many details and excitement. You are reminded of small details you never paid attention to at the beginning with bigger events and plots. It doesn't bore you out! An obvious 10 *-*

Acting/Cast

DAMN! THE CHEMISTRY! O.O PSH and LJS are made for each other !!

I hate Park ShinHye simply because she's too pretty and always steals my oppas (I can count TEN of them! both Korean AND Japanese!) but I can't not give her credit for how much her acting improved especially after that Heirs disaster *facepalm* she was a mess. Anyways, she passes this drama, thumbs up :3

Lee Jung Suk *-* DEABAK improvement !! From the rising star to the pro. His actions and expressions are becoming more genuine and precise.

Kim Young Kwang.. my crush since White Christmas has surely grown much more professional at what he does. He played the character way too well.

The MOST impressive though, Jin Kyung (In Ha's mother) you won't notice it at the beginning, but the contrast in the personalities sh'es playing is shown CLEARLY on her face in the last few episodes. SHE'S TOO GOOD!

Nothing on Music... It's Amazing but not Perfect because I didn't even notice it while watching.
My guess, the story is too intense to notice the music, but I must admit, the music blends in SO well with the events that you feel it instead of hearing it.. I TAKE IT BACK ! the Music is PERFECT!

Rewatch Value isn't much cuz you already know all the secrets and hidden agendas.. but I still would look up some Romance between the leads and watch on a nice free day to relief stress.. the chemistry IS that good!

I can't believe all the winter dramas are so bad I get to watch only this and it's about to end ToT I hope this drama drought doesn't last ToT

Good Points:

- The lead Park Hoon is funny and charismatic with Lee Jong Suk demonstrating his amazing acting. Throughout some of the less exciting bits of the drama, I continued to watch happily just for the character of Park Hoon.
- I loved the music and listen to it often even after having finished the drama some time ago.
- The story had me hooked from the beginning of the first episode and although it drags a little in the middle, I was happy with the ending.
- Good, non-cringe-worthy humour.
- Could not fault any of the actor's abilities.

Bad Points:

- I found the character of Oh Soo Hyun (performed by Kang So Ra) to be a tad predictable and actually annoying in some scenes, although Kang So Ra's acting cannot be faulted. I believe her character would have been less of an irritation to me had they not made her such a main character, but that is just my personal opinion.
- The story does flop a little in the middle where it becomes less fast paced and the surgeries seem to end in a predictable way, however the story picks back up and it ends well.

If you are just starting kdrama's or are looking for one to start with CHOOSE THIS ONE!!! This drama is well loved in a nostalgic kind of way. Compared to more modern dramas it is a little dated, and if its your first might be a little outlandish but that's why it makes such a great 1st choice. It will not be as nostalgic later after you have seen newer better produced dramas but this is what I like to call a traditional Kdrama. It has all the aspects that you will come to expect from kdramas- love, romance, love triangles, piggyback rides, "Cinderella syndrome", and comedy. While in hindsight it is not necessarily the best drama I have watched, because it was one of the first it holds a special place in my heart. I don't want to go into excruciating detail, though I am sure I could talk about BOF for days but I feel it is one of the required introductory dramas, so if you are looking to start START HERE.

On a side note, even if it is not your first drama choice make sure you watch it. There are very few Asian Dramas that are as well known as BOF.
