The plot was really interesting and I love the chemistry between the two leads. I love how it manages to be romantic, scary and funny at the same time :)
Must watch

Drama Special Series Season 1: White Christmas

I also was not expecting the characters to be as relatable as they were. I personally loved every single character in the school--whether they be villains or heroes (though it was sometimes very difficult to draw a clear line between the two). The music was surprising too. It's not often that you hear AC/DC and opera in K-Drama. Overall, this is a great watch. The story drew me in and while I had some serious doubts going in, I think that this drama is a great example of what happens when amazing writing, directing and acting come together perfectly.

So, fun to watch, but know you're probably in for some frustration too - if you don't mind that, go for it and enjoy :)

O Tempo em Que Não Estávamos Apaixonados

I loved the story, it was pretty simple and coherent and the acting (esp. Lee Jin Wook) was great. A lot of dramas these days are far too complicated, the writers need to chill :')
Didn't really hear much of the OST cause a lot of it was very Kpopish... but it definitely wasn't bad.
One thing I feel the need to say is i'm pretty dang sure '?? ??? ??' does not translate to 'The Time We Were Not In Love' .... but anyways! :')
Lee Jin Wook is fantastic, and Ha Ji Won was pretty good as well! -I'm happy.

Okay, so when news about this drama first came out, I was skeptical. On paper, Jang Nara and In Guk as a couple seemed pretty off and the not much was given away about the plot, but I gave it a try due to my In Guk condition.
Boy was I blown away!
From the first episode, it showed that this show wasn't going to be a "typical" drama, from the flawless directing to the smooth writing, everything about it seemed beautiful. It kinda gave me Sherlock vibes in that sense. And what I really liked, unlike other dramas,is that it kept you guessing the identity of the murderer even if it becomes quite obvious. You are sure that this character is the killer but then the show throws you off and suddenly, you start suspecting yourself. Of course, its not to that extent but you are kept guessing until the big reveal.
Moving on, I loved the relationship between Hyun and Jian. Although this drama is promoted as a romantic thriller, the romance is almost non existent which is not a bad thing here because I thought what we got instead was beautiful. You get to watch as Hyun and Jian become friends and companions who lean on each other during hard times. They actually get to know each other and embrace the other's faults which was quite heartwarming (Seo In Guk embracing anything is heartwarming.. but that is irrelevant). I also loved the relationship between Hyun and Lawyer Jung because, bromance. Props to the actors, portraying these complex characters is seriously an achievements (shoutout to D.O .. I never expected awesome cameo)
So would I watch this again? Yes, I would watch Seo In Guk watch paint dry and die content. Would I watch it for any other reason than my In Guk condition? No. I feel like this drama has a one time charm and would be boring if I re watched it despite my earlier raving. So 7.5 points for Seo In Guk!
Overall, This drama is amazing and totally worth watching. My only misgiving is that it dragged quite a bit but thankfully, it picked up the pace.
Oh and In Guk had only one shower scene, tragedy!

From some of the reviews I’d read, it seemed that some people found the storyline slow to begin with and I tend to agree, although these first few episodes were really setting the scene for some really good storytelling from Episode 5 onwards. I found myself more and more drawn to the character of Attorney Jang, as well as the budding partnership between Lee Hyun and Cha Ji-an. The focus in the main characters is certainly there, but I found myself also interested in other side-stories such as the Chief Planning Officer / Hyun’s guardian and the relationship between Team Leader Kang and his father.
The music and soundtrack played was generally suitable to the scenes and the acting, but there wasn’t really a piece of music which was really memorable for me (then again, I’m not really a music person, it takes a really good song to stick in my head).
I probably wouldn’t rewatch this drama, I really enjoyed watching the storyline unfold and I think it just wouldn’t be as enjoyable the second time around. Also, I don't tend to rewatch many dramas so this low rewatch rating doesn't at all reflect how much I enjoyed it the first time round. For now, I’ll stick to watching cuts of the incredibly cute moments between the brothers!

This was the first adaptation of this that I watched, but have lined up the anime, manga and J-drama to sink into for comparison later.
While I was never racing to get to the next episode because I simply HAD to know what happened, I was OK with that, because this wasn't supposed to be a drama like that. I also liked that there was no concrete ending and it was just a continuation of the life they were already living.
This was my first Joo Won drama and I will be following his choices of role in the future since I thought he was excellent in this.
I am very grateful to this drama for breaking a slump I've had over the last month or so. So thanks, Cantabile Tomorrow!

Easily put, this drama was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.
I'm a fan of Jang Nara and admittedly not as much for Seo In Guk, I only really knew him from his Master's Sun time, but these guys...this story... oh man where do I start...
Okay, so they've been promo'ing it as a rom com, but really the basis of it is a crime procedural with sprinkles of fluff, but don't be scared off, you'll be so into the main story and the cases that the sprinkles of fluff we get are short and sweet...and realistic.. This couple, their trust and faith in each other is developed so nicely that if anything, I'm glad there isn't toe curling fluff in it! (not gonna lie, when they do have cute bits, its definitely cuuuute).
No joke, this drama had me on the edge of my seat from the very beginning, its been a long time since i've stayed up till 4am to watch a drama because the cliff hangers are just too good!! The mix of human nature, our childhood experiences, what makes us who we are, different scenarios that affect how we grow up and into the people we are as adults are only parts of what are explored.
I loved loved loved the fact that we got such an indepth relationship with all the characters, no one was missed out, they all had their own storylines, all of which made me wonder 'ohhh thats probably why they did what they did' or 'your one action affected this entire thing'.
Even though, you get whats basically expected in a crime drama, there are killers, a lot of corpses, killing, blood, weapons for murder, but It's been interesting that for once, I couldn't have predicted what was going to happen, they dropped the most shocking moments and turning points of the story that its left me :O for most of it. Each case was exciting to watch as you attempted to solve the crimes alongside the characters, whilst having an ongoing mystery that started at the very beginning and weaves itself in and between cases all the way through to the end.
The acting was awesome, I'm so glad the actors and actresses took on their roles for this drama as I couldnt really imagine anyone else doing them, the antagonists in this, even though I know the character isnt really but their facial expressions still gives me the chills when I imagine them! The actual songs, were a nice accompaniment to the drama scenes but to be honest, i was too sucked into the storyline to have noticed and paid attention to them enough...!
The instrumentals for scenes in this drama did its job, my mood instantly changed to fit the scene as soon as they came on, exceptionally chilling in the suspenseful scenes and then light in their cute moments.
So maybe i was a teeny tiny bit disappointed with the ending, not to say i didnt like it. I was satisfied that the ending chose to give us a more meaningful end to the drama, but the with suspense that was building up i thought we were going to have some really dramatic cliffhanger of an ending. All in all i could accept their ending :) For me, no storyline or character was left unanswered so that was good.
Overall, this drama was refreshing, with a thriller, full of suspense, psychological crime drama that weighed everything out a bit with their fluff moments that created an amazing storyline to follow. One that I didn't get bored of, rather was addicted to from start to end, and even after you end up thinking more about the messages they left behind the actions that happened during the drama.
I would definitely rewatch this again!
I've seen some epic and better used words and descriptions for reviews on I Remember You down there, but I had to express my feelings on this... :')

They had a different concept/version of the drama which made me interest. Making the game as a reality show was good but I felt like the Japanese Version was more intense, scary and more convincing. They just added some mysteries like the connection of the characters to one another.
For the characters, Kim So Eun lacked innocence. She was stupid but not that stupid. Lee Sang Yoon lacked 'witiness' too though he really did great. But most especially, Shin Sung Rok did an amazing job for being the main antagonist in the drama. He was really scary and unpredictable.
For those who haven't watch the Japanese Version, I really recommend it! The characters, setting of all games, the justification of the storyline, the explanation of each detail in the game was on point.

If you want to take a break from happy beginning dramas well I strongly recommend this drama. You will not regret it. It's my second time watching it.

I mean... When you watch other dramas it seems perfectly natural for rich people who are disconnected from the common folk to act arrogant and feeling high about themselves. But this guy works on the food industry and has to deal with public all the time. Yelling and blaming a customer for a mistake HE commited is really the best way to captivate buyers and make them come back to his store? My degree in advertising says otherwise...
The preview of the next episode doesn't help you much to relate with the male character... Apparently the girl will be forced to work for free after he performs a heimlich manneuver to save her life, wich ends up destroying an ugly but priceless decorative dish... Can this guy be any more of a douche? How are we expected to believe that these two will be deeply in love after 16 episodes?
I think i'll give it one more chance, but as of right now, i'm not so sure that i'll stick with it after two or three episodes...
