For the hype, I was pleasantly surprised at how well this drama turned out. I am a nut about romantic comedies and this one didn't disappoint!

Story | Typical plot where beauty changes with one of more characters and a love story is produced. Except, I don't know if this is just me, but I have never watched a drama where a main character went from pretty to "ugly" before. I wasn't sure how I'd like this concept since i expected something different with the leads but the way Hye Jin's character was written made this storyline more enjoyable in my eyes.

Cast | Can we all just take a moment and applaud how great The Most staff was. As much as I loved the main leads, the supporting actors were incredible. Anyways, Hwang Jung Eum and Park Seo Joon was such a nice couple to watch. Their chemistry throughout the entire drama was perfect and for me, was a huge reason why I enjoyed this drama. At first I was expecting to find flaws about Jung Eum's acting (or more how she was to play her character) but I think there was a certain charm she gave Hye Jin that made her extremely likable. Park Seo Joon was the perfect Seong Joon. Maybe it was just my preference, but the way he acted with certain facial expression really made me fall in love with his character. And please tell me I'm not the only one who kept saying "my god, Siwon stop" during the entire drama! I admit though, he brought a unique feel to his character and one couldn't help but love his weirdness.

Music | Insert songs, ending music etc were all nice and fit the scenes/drama as a whole perfectly. Genre isn't really my taste but still nice to listen to.

Rewatch | Probably in the future, the whole cast made this drama great. It's only a matter of time before I head back to episode 1.

Overall | Honestly, for how much I praised it, probably could've have been a little better towards the end. I was hooked from episode 1-11 and 12-16 weren't terrible or didn't drag on too much but it seemed like there was a spark missing. Or maybe if the story happened a little differently the last 5 episodes wouldn't have felt so lackluster. It was still enjoyable to watch! I say give it a try, in my opinion, it was worth the hype.

I did not have much expectations when I first saw the announcement of the drama on Dramafever, however after much delay, I marathoned the entire series between 2 days. Cheer up is another school drama that both delivers and fails at the same time. If you've enjoyed watching, School 2013/2015 or Angry Mom, then this is the drama for you. This drama pretty much covers both of the same issues such as bullying, school corruption and of course, a head spinning love triangle that spins until the very end.

The acting was pretty decent. Eunji as Kang Yeon Doo felt natural and she was funny and cute in her own way. The lead male Lee Won Gun as Kim Yeol was a particular character you either liked or disliked. (Though it's hard to dislike him when his smile melts your heart like a puppy.) The promising actor Ji Soo as Seo Ha Joon also felt natural and quickly became my favorite character of the show. Though I won't say the acting was bad, it was easy to tolerate with a good cast with good chemistry.

The story line starts off really nice and the plot thickens as the issues spring up. My only complaint has to be towards the ending of the drama where I felt some of the issues were unresolved. The drama ends up pretty nicely but still leaves more to be desired. And while the whole bullying, school corruption, love triangle thing becomes typically cliched in dramaland, Cheer Up offers a refreshing take of youth enduring and overcoming obstacles and making friendships.

What I like about this drama is that it's easy going and easy to follow. The story doesn't drag and flows nicely. The cute and funny moments make for a light hearted watch. I would recommend this drama, despite it's minor flaws.

Cheer Up! is a school drama, and like another school dramas based in South Korea we can see the students and how they pass through school life, but what Cheer Up! is giving us, is not only school and funny or sad stories.
I think Cheer Up gave us a strong sense of friendship, and teach us how even if people is different, in tastes or personality, they can form a close relation, and protect what is really important in school or life.

The acting of the drama is great, all actors give their best and were choose carefully, all of them have a great chemistry in the story. In music maybe lacks a little if you compare to other dramas, but is OK.
I think they can make it a little longer, I was waiting for 16 episodes, but for the result we have in the 12 episodes I think is an awesome drama to watch.

If people haven't watch this yet, I think they have to consider to give it a chance.

*SPOILERS MAY BE AHEAD*

First of all, let me say that I do not REGRET WATCHING THIS DRAMA RAW (No english subtitles). While episode 1-4 on Viki got me excited and interested, I still wanted more episodes. So I resorted to the RAW episodes. Even though, I don't understand some parts, I still get some sense of what is happening in the episode. Now moving on!

Also note that
Odd Episodes are about 50 minutes - 1 hour long
Even Episodes are about 30 minutes - 40 minutes long

Story: 9/10
Qi Bai Cao loss her parents in a fire. She was picked up by Qu Xiang Nan during the fire and he became Qi Bai Cao's shifu (I think that's how you spell it), Qu Xiang Nan was a great Taekwondo in the final competition. He won the final rounds, but he was later tested for the use and help of drugs, and tested positive. Qu Xiang Nan's reputation sunked to the lowest and he stopped doing Taekwondo. Several years later, Fang Ting Hao, another great Taekwondo won the final rounds, but was falsely framed for using drug to help him win. Thankfully he didn't and tested negative.

I'm going to stop there, since I don't want to spoiled everything. Overall for the story I enjoyed and many parts teared me up (Especially in the later and near end episodes). If you understand the chinese language, then I advised you to watch this drama.

Character: 10/10
I understand that Qi Bai Cao's character portrayed by Hu Bing Qing won't appealed to several people, but understand one thing she is protective of her friends/families and, once she sets a goal, she goes for it. The three main guys' character were pretty well done too. Especially Chu Yuan's and Ruo Bai's character.

Acting: 9/10
I haven't really watching any of Hu Bing Qing's drama, since she seems to be a new actress. In my opinion, she can cry good (Maybe to me :P), and the the other actors/actresses stay true to their character.

Music: 9.5/10
I loved the music and the instrumentals. I want to find the instrumental musics so much, but I can't find them anywhere T^T. There was 2 main songs that I took a liking to.

Rewatch Value: 6/10
Eh, 32 episodes, it took me about 5-6 days to finish this drama, but hey it was worth it! I wouldn't watch it again, because there are so many other dramas to watch too. But if I ever go back to this one, I'll probably watch the cute and fighting parts.

Pros:
+Three guys to ship the main girl with
+Great music
+One long and short episode (Odd/Even)
+One of the dramas that stays true to its genre.
+Good characters portrayed by actors/actresses
+Main girl's hairstyle (Hey, it's pretty to me :P)

Cons:
-It won't attract many romance-watching drama people because it has less romance
-It won't appealed to many drama-watching people because it's a sport drama
-Season 2, because not alot people watch seasons, some rather prefer a full 10-20 episodes drama series.
-Special effect won't appealed to some people

(I die-hard ship Qi Bai Cao with Chu Yuan at first, they were the first OTP I shipped in the drama, but later on Ruo Bai's character got me. Ruo Bai's character is really nice and caring for Bai Cao)

:D Simply MOST-LIKE. Since the beginning of time, I was itching to write a review on this drama and now finally I can :P Well honestly this drama has a very typical story line and nothing exactly new about it. But my oh my the way it was executed *thumbs up*. I have never seen a drama with so much details in it. It taught me so much, never to lie (because of a very VERY stupid reason) when there is no need to -.-, what real friends can and cannot do for each other and most importantly it taught me never to watch a drama which is not complete yet :/. I literally marathoned the first 8 episodes then I had to wait a full week to watch the next one.

The series started off well, but midway through it got boring and lost a bit steam and because of that I cannot give it a perfect score. But it was sooooooo good even without the steam at the end that it was difficult not to. Has to be one of my favourite rom-coms along with Coffee Prince and You’re Beautiful. The actors were amazing. I totally fell in love with Choi Shi Won- period! He was so witty and soooo funny and it showed me how flexible an actor he is. Also it was definitely refreshing to watch Hwang Jeun Eum and Park Seo Joon together. I wasn’t expecting them to show such a sweet and hot chemistry on screen. Even the supporting actors were amazing and so cute, they had a totally “Most-like” look (you’ll understand after you watch this drama ^_^).

All in all a cozy and super fluffy and funny drama with a lot of cute moments in it. Has to be one of my favourite rom-com. For all the Oh Ri On and Oh Ri Jin fans who shipped them in Kill Me Heal Me, this drama is totally for you guys and those who didn’t(I was one of them btw :P) will totally love it as well. And yes I am pretty sure that after this drama history will repeat itself and Hwang Jeun Eum will be paired with Choi Shi Won, Amen to that :p. Pungent, refreshing and totally worth your time! Saranghae She was Pretty. You shall be missed <3.

The drama is good right at the start it gives the viewer mysteries and question of what happen earlier on but unfortunately loss it momentum right to the end where they focus too much on the love triangle romance thing. I think it going great especially when the return of Eun Byull but it lost it plot in the final 2 episode.

The main factor that keep me going is the relationship between Eun Bi-So Young and Eun Byul-the girl who pass away (sorry couldn't recall her name), and also the twin Eun Bi-Byul.

The ending was so-so and felt bad for Eun Byul as if she lost everything to Eun Bi.

The OST is awesome all the total 8 track is magnificent. The OST alone I would give a full 10/10 and the plot a 8/10

All the cast did a good job especially So Hyun she portray both character convincingly

Wah, salah satu drama yang ceritanya menghangatkan hati. Setelah mennton episode terakhir kayak agak sedikit nge blank. Bukan karena ceritanya yang jelek, tapi karena manisnya yang pas, haha.

Story

Sekian dari drama yang ceritanya tentang kehidupan nyata, apalagi ini tentang seorang ibu yang kuliahnya sangat telat. Awal-awalnya aku gemes banget sama karakternya Ha No Ra. Kok ya dia nurut banget gitu sama 'suami'nya yang nyebelin amit-amit? Terus aku ngerasa relatable sama No Ra, apalagi pas awal-awal dia masuk kuliah.

Hati-hati, kamu bakal jatuh cinta sama Kim Min Soo.

I think the story is a bit disconnected at first to what is happening so it starts off really confusing with some scenes and the flashbacks. This series is very Cinematic there are a lot of beautifully shoot senses and has a interesting flow to the episodes, It isn't a fluffy love story that begins in a funny way and often leaves the viewers wanting to know more about how the lead characters ended up getting hurt before and how they are going to connect in the future or how they deal with the heart break. Top is a great actor I love the way that they talk about love or try to understand it and I love the connection of the two lead characters!

Story?
Okay. Mainly the story was cliche and predictable. It had its cute moments and even a few touching ones. But in all honesty. I spent a majority of this drama feeling frustrated. The episodes were quite long, and a lot would happen in each, at times I'd finish an episode and it would feel like I'd finished 2 or 3. A new and different event would be in each making the drama feel longer then it is.
The love triangle is again, quite cliche. At times I would have second lead syndrome - after about episode 7 - despite at first hating him. The drama seems to be focusing on gaining sympathy for the characters and their complicated relationships. Despite this, it was cute too watch, even if I felt like throwing it out the window.
The last few episodes are a little... random. That's all I have to say about the end.

Actors/Characters?
I thought that the actors were quite good at their roles, I haven't really seen them in other dramas - of which I can remember - so I feel like I can't be an excellent judge for this one. So instead I shall talk about the main characters themselves. Many of the characters did get me to the verge of throwing soft items such as; pillows, teddies and bricks at the screen. But the actors had captured their essence quite well.
Tao Hua - The character Tao Hua was so indecisive! I know that she loved her brothers dearly and that she wanted them to be happy, but couldn't she stand up for herself for once near the beginning?! Okay sure. It would cut the drama shirt by about 10 episodes but UGH it frustrated me. Otherwise she's a sweet character, and when it comes to the heart she was sincere.

I like her brothers, despite them being cruel and manipulative at times, they are doing what they think is best. They are unselfish in all matters towards their sister, which I thought was very cute. If they'd have bullied Yu Yi less I may have even fallen for them.

Yu Yi - Yu Yi himself was a sweet addition to the brothers. He was the glue of the family - sticking them all together. Despite being bullied constantly by his evil brothers, he would try and rectify their mistakes. He would comfort Tao Hua, and always thought of her feelings, instead of keeping her safe life her other brothers. Due to his brothers bullying he had a hard time standing up for himself, but when the time came, he would finally pluck up the courage and do it. I personally feel like he was the most attractive brother for this reason alone, despite not being the most physically attractive out of them all. He was cute. Definitely earned the title of Favourite Brother!

Shi Lang - For a supposedly clever character, he could be really dumb at times. I can't explain this with out adding spoilers... Okay I'll give a quick example. It won't ruin the story, but skip to the next point if you're worried. Ready? If a girl beats you in a sport.. WHY ARE YOU WORRIED SHE WON'T BE ABLE TO DO SAID SPORT?!? Christ almighty.
Other then that he had his moments. The two leads made a cute couple ^^

Music?
Cute and quirky is all I could say about it. I find myself often singing along the the opening theme tune, it's catchy.

Overall?
Although frustrating at times, coupled with the fact it's a classic, cliche from drama land, it is a sweet relief from real life. If you're looking for something sweet and easy to watch, this would be a good recommendation, just don't expect a great deal from it. It's cute enough to pass time with, but I doubt I'll watch it again, it frustrated me way too much! :)

Songha Chae is a driven marketing executive who lives with her husband and two children in an apartment building filled with curious neighbors. One day, she witnesses a domestic disturbance in the building, which results in the death of a woman. Soon she gets new neighbors in the form of Mr. Min Sang-Sik a similarly career-driven man and his wife, a stay at home wife and their two children. Sparks quickly fly between the two couples as each party begins to wonder if they married the right partner.
II. Character Analysis
Songha Chae - As a team leader Songha is constantly faced with sexist behavior from her superiors and the male clients she has to entertain. She genuinely enjoys her work and gives it her all, often to the detriment of home life with her family. She laments the distance between her and her husband and feels even worse that he doesn’t desire her sexually. She meets Min Sang-Sik (her new neighbor) when they work on an advertising project for his firm. At first, he doubts her ability to market their hangover drink since she is (gasp!) a woman. After a few days working together Songha drinks him under the table and he grudgingly gives her his respect. Soon they get close and he begins to respect her work ethic and glamorous image. He is attracted to Songha and longs for such excitement in a woman as his own wife is in his opinion boring and mismanages his money.
Ahn Sun-Kyu, Songha’s husband on the other hand, characteristically forgets that Songha works hard so he can have the financial freedom to become the kind of doctor he wants to be. He takes pride in his work and his ethical standards often clash with that of hospital management; however he won’t quit because he thinks Songha will kill him (his words). He spends a lot of his spare time cooped up in his home office “entertaining” himself and claims he is not sexually attracted to Songha since she is wife (huh?). Simpleminded as he is, all he wants is a wife who makes him feel like a man, cleans the house and cooks for him. He finds his “perfect” match in Mr. Min’s wife Kyung-Ju.
Hong Kyung-Ju and Ahn quickly bond over their mutual love of food and supposed easygoingness. Kyung finds comfort in Ahn who is very much the opposite of her husband. Despite her seemingly homely nature, there are a few strange things about Kyung. She likes to spit in her husband’s food, gives him toilet water to drink and occasionally cuts his head off of family pictures (no biggie!). She is emotionally repressed and lives with regret, anger and thoughts of what could have been had she not married the man who berates her and makes her life miserable.
Min Sang-Sik (Kyung-ju’s husband) for his part seems to be so aware and considerate of Songha’s trials as a career woman but ignorant of his own wife’s issues. At home, he is straight-laced, unemotional and focuses on the basics. He takes his job and filial duty seriously to the point of “begging” when there was a risk of him not being able to provide for them. However, none of this stops him from putting his future on the line due to his growing attraction to Songha.
My thoughts:
I chose to watch this drama because I thoroughly enjoyed “A wife’s credentials” and believed this would be in the same vein. However, where in AWC it was easy to sympathize with the cheating party, this was so not the case with YNW. No one was an outright asshole (well maybe Min) and everyone was somewhat foolish.
I found Ahn the most bothersome due to his bratty, idealistic nature. He was dismissive of his wife’s effort to bring money to the household so the pressure was not totally on him. I wondered why he married Songha. Was it for love or for the promise of having a kept house and someone to make him feel like a “man”? He is at the end of the day, a weak guy who can’t bring the same pride he has at work home because he claims he is afraid of his wife. Conversely, I enjoyed Songha’s forward nature and commitment to her work and family. When her husband tells her he is not sexually attracted to her she makes it a point to seduce him. I got so angry when at some point she was the only one apologizing when her whiny husband never admitted to the part he played in the whole mess. Songha deserves better than both Ahn and Min and the same goes for Kyung-ju despite what she feels is her destiny. Kyung-ju the repressed lady was my favorite character! She is crazy and hilarious (kudos to Shin Eun-Kyung for playing up the part). Half of the time you’re not sure whether she is a potential murderess or laughing inside at how she’s trolling everyone around her. She was a riot and I felt the writers had so much potential with this character that was not utilized.
III. Conclusion
This show starts out funny and a bit daring but soon devolves into jealousy, rivalry and ridiculousness. In the end I don’t think my time was totally wasted since there were some truly hilarious moments and the tension kept me going till the end. Given its 22 episodes it felt slow moving but in this case it was fine since such a story needs nuance and a slower pace. I was initially worried about how the show will end since cheating never ends well for some in kdramaland. However, it all wraps up relatively well depending on what you consider a good resolution. Given the dramatics the show started with I for one expected something more “out of norm” as a resolution but the end was still satisfying.
Overall Rating – 7- 7.5/10
Reasoning – Mostly for the emotion it drew out of me (There were many moments where I was a ball of nerves wondering what would happen next). The other positives were the excellent actors and the decent comedic moments. Points taken off for promising a lot and not delivering much (all bravado and no real bravery)

I like school dramas, so I was very excited for this drama. Furthermore, two of my favourite Actors were casted. When I heard that A-Pinks Eunji would play the female lead my reaction was very different from my reaction, when I heard that Girls Days Hyeri would play the female lead in Reply 1988. Eunji is one of the Idols who can act very well in my opinion. She is very talented in many ways. N from Vixx was new as a Actor for me. So I wasn't sure if he could do well.

Story:
I liked the story, because it was different from other school dramas. Cheerleading isn't something I am a big fan of, but I thought a drama with this theme could be funny. And it was^^.

Acting/Cast:
Like I said above I was very happy when I heard that Eunji would play the female lead role. I am ot a big fan of Girlgroups, but I like Eunji because she can act. So I wasn't mad or something, when she was confirmed. She played the role as 'Kang Yeondo' very well. The role suits her very much. I liked her in 'Cheer up' more than in 'Reply 1997', but I don't know exactly why.
Lee Wongeun is one of my favourite Actors. I liked him in 'HJ&M' because of his bright character. When I found out, that he is the same age like me, I was shocked. I mean, he doesn't look like 24. His character was special for me. A young high school boy who is a top student but has problems with his family and his past. Every time he smiled, I was like 'He is so cute' (too cute for a man in his twenties v.v).
Next is Ji Soo. I didn't watched 'Angry Mom', but I heard very good reactions in relation to his acting. He played the best friend of Kim Yeol (LWG) and I could see that the two actors are very close. The chemistry was perfect. They remembered me of Lee Jongsuk and Kim Woobin in School 2013. Their bromance was not too much, but they showed us how much they liked each other as best friends. Ji Soo played the role of Hajoon, a boy who is dark, quiet and cold on the outside (Kim Yeol is an exception.). But on the inside he is a very warm person who has a secret which knows Kim Yeol but nobody else.
Chao Soobin played the Top Student Kwon Sooah, who seems to be the best friend of Kang Yeondoo. Honestly, Sooah got on my nerves after a few Episodes. I hated her, but at the same time I thought that sie is an victim of her family. But Soobin played the role very well, so I think it was good for her to play a role like this after her role in "House of Bluebird".
Like I said before I was very sceptical when I heard that N of Vixx would play a role in this drama. Normally, I am very unsure if Idols can do well. I am not a fan of them when they are beginning acting, but some of them surprised me. N is not an perfect actor. He was awkward, but maybe it was his role. He played the best friend of Yeondoo and was...very akwward. However, I think he did a good job.
The teachers (played bei Kim Jisuk and Lee Mido) acted very well, too and the chemistry with the younger Actors and Actresses was very good, too.

Music:
My favourite Song is 'Shooting Star' by Hanbyul. I think this song suits the drama the best. Everytime I heard it, I thought of Yeondo and Yeol.

All in all I can say that the drama is one of my favourites this year. I can't understand why the rating are so low, but I think it is because of the other two dramas which have a very big cast. Later on, I will watch this drama again.

But I have one critical point. I think this drama is too short. In the end they rushed it a little bit, so I think they should have made 16 episodes. So this drama gets 9.5 out of 10.

A drama which has crime, mystery, action, thriller, suspense, detective and psychological aspect mixed into one, that is Bad Guys. I was at the edge of my seat almost the entire time, my head was spinning from too much thoughts and possibilities on how, who , and what's going to happen next. I have always been a sucker for these kind of things and if you are too, then you can't waste any minute now and watch Bad Guys.

STORY:
> there are holes in the story but there will always be in every film/drama (in my case that is) but that doesn't make Bad Guys any less awesome.
> The lines are well written and smartly.
> the story is great.

ACTING/CAST:
Come on, do I need to tell you? The cast is amazing. The acting is superb. Kim Sang Joong, is great in every moment. I have to love Park Hae Jin, I will never watch at these guys the same again.

MUSIC:
Well, since its a crime action thriller, not much to say but it was good. The ending song is good.

Re-watch VALUE:
I will definitely re-watch this. Maybe peek on some episodes from time to time.

When you're going to watch this, make sure you're on your wits and ready to understand and absorb everything because every scene is vital.

First of all - the idea for the plot was really great; but it wasn't developed in 100% proper way. Sometimes I felt like the backstories were more interesting that the main story. The love story progress was kind of messy and at times it felt more like a brother/sister relationship to me. Ha Ri's character, even though the actress did a great job, was sort of boring and predictable; she didn't add much to the drama. Her relationships with parents/step-parents/love interests were a big mess. Other supporting characters' stories were great though - especially Siwon's one.

I'm not the biggest fan of Hwang Jung Eum's acting. She's a bit too much for me - this time it wasn't THAT bad, although it made me cringe from time to time. Park Seo Joon started off as a typical, cold, flowerboy-ish character, which isn't really my cup of tea and doesn't really show his acting abilities, but later on when his character changed a bit - it was really pleasant to watch. He has a really cute smile and is great at acting adorable and goofy. SIWON THO - the most shining part of the whole drama. It made me feel like even the producers and writers didn't predict how great his character would be - which led to the feeling of him being more important than the Seo Joon's character. His scenes were more meaningful and symbolic and he kind of just eclipsed the main characters. The Most staff had its better and worse characters: shout out to Shin Dong Mi as the fashion director - it was a minor role, but it was really warm and perfectly created. The worst character was Ra Ra - throwing random phrases and acting all exaggerated is absolutely not my type of humour. Park Yoo Hwan and Shin Hye Sun's roles were also a great addition to the whole drama.

The OST is really good - and while I don't think I'm gonna download the album and put it on repeat - the songs sit in your head for quite a while after watching another episode; especially Siwon's You're the Only One and Kim Min Seung's Thumping.

I rarely rewatch whole dramas; sometimes I just go back to certain scenes (like I did with Coffee Prince or Reply 1997) and this time, the only parts worth rewatching are mainly Siwon's parts - he did a really great job and should definitely receive some kind of award for his portrayal.

Overall - it's not a bad drama and I've watched it whole since I was up to date with the episodes (always watching next one right after it aired); but if I had started watching it later when all of the episodes came out, I don't think I would have watched it all.
