I think the casting for his drama fit perfectly and there is so much cuteness at the final episodes that you better be prepared for all that.
Highly recommend this drama please do watch!

To sum up : "This drama is simply a work of art".Never thought I would ever give a perfect 10 to any kdrama, but to my utter delight, this one met my exacting standards. I almost didn’t watch this, because the synopsis was so unappealing. "Older married woman has affair with a kid young enough to be her son" … uhh..thanks, I'll pass … not interested in watching successful people who ought to be content with their lives creating artificial angst for themselves and the viewers. Just goes to show how wrong pre-conceived notions can be.
I was bored one day and since it was on Netflix, I just started watching it.
The first episode was a little random and almost lost me … but …just hang in there, because starting from the 2nd episode, the story just took off, and wow, what a ride it was from that point onwards! The acting, the music, the direction, the photography, the sets/lighting. ….every single scene seemed to be so lovingly put together and the result was a work of art.
The main female protagonist was NOT a korean version of Madame Bovary I thought she would be -- instead, here was one of the best female characters I've seen on screen, korean or otherwise. She was neither a "good woman" or a "bad woman" -- instead she was beautifully multi-layered with enough strengths and failings to fill a book. She was steely strong and scarily manipulative when it came to her business dealings, her face never betraying her inner emotions and remaining calm under intense pressure she faced every day. She was always a step ahead of the game and it amazed me how she openly played the "triple agent" in the nasty chaebol family she was working for (you have to watch it to understand the context). She was blatantly ambitious and didn’t hesitate to hurt people along the way if it meant getting ahead.
On the other hand, deep inside the "unspoilt" part of her, she loved the piano. And she loved it with passion. This is what brings the young self-taught genius pianist and her together in the first place. Their slowly growing love (slow on her end, but almost immediate on his) is so intense that it gave me goose bumps and butterflies several times. Their passion for each other is so uniquely and interestingly depicted that I have to bow down to the director and writer. It is not your typical "slow-mo dramatic kiss and hug" scene. Instead, we often see only the back of their heads when they are kissing. But the set-up, the background music, the slightest flicker on the actors' faces, their body movements are what builds up the crackling sexual tension.
SPOILER ahead******* : the pivotal scene when they first make love was so beautifully filmed it just took my breath way. Instead of showing us the details, the director has us listen to the lovers' voice over as they softly confide their fears to each other and comfort each other, while the camera pans over several innocuous inanimate objects in the shabby apartment, carefully avoiding any glimpse of the bed. The net effect : the most tuggingly-intimate love scene I've ever seen.
******SPOILER END
Both the actors have done a stellar job in portraying their characters with great nuance and complexity. And they fit together so well and naturally that the age difference just melts. Theirs is the best chemistry I've seen …period …they just burn the screen up together. I wonder how watching the actual filming on the set would have been. Their scenes together were so real and so palpable.
In the end, the "affair" actually takes a backseat . The story is really about her self-discovery and how she gets the courage to own up to her mistakes and start life all over again with a clean slate. I LOVED the ending -- it was perfect and I wouldnt have it any other way.
The actor who played the poor husband (who is not a very sympathetic character anyway) actually did rather a remarkable job in pulling it off. He was not so unsympathetic that you hate him. In fact, I felt a little sorry for him, not because his wife leaves him (they were never "together" emotionally to start with), but because he was really not capable in his career despite ambitions. He just ended playing puppet to his superiors but was always on the losing end. So he was just plain weak …. but the actor succeeded in not making him totally despicable.
Lastly, this drama would NOT have been the same without the astounding music. I would even go so far as to say that the music is truly the main character in the entire show. Thanks to this show, I was introduced to some amazing piano pieces that I have downloaded and listen to frequently.
This drama has truly spoilt me for all future kdramas, and I really hope and wish this team of director/writer would come together again and do another show.

I felt so compelled to watch just from the first 5 minutes of the pilot episode, which is so rare.
The story is amazing. Multi-faceted, well paced, interesting, enlightening; the accolades and adjectives could go on and on. The drama never had to rely on ridiculous twists and turns to keep it interesting. By dissecting the characters, and keeping the storyline introspective, the drama successfully added depth and dimension without any crazy hat tricks that come out of nowhere. Probably because the plot didn't really need great upsets to get the story moving. It's so fluid and just a total pleasure to watch. Each episode always led to the next, and by the time you realise it you've marathon-ed the entire series.
I loved how the drama was able to move from heavy topics, to playful banter, hilarious comedy, and deeply romantic moments with ease! Each scene was thoughtful and had purpose.
The characters were diverse, beautiful, insightful -- everything you want them to be. I was not irritated by a single character. They all served their purpose in the plot. They had their own story. The actors did a great job!
Soundtrack. Download. Great for that car ride to school/work.
Most importantly, the message of the drama is so important and relevant. Being aware, open-minded, and acknowledging mental illness is something society needs to be exposed to more. Fight the stigma and find beauty in others.

The Actors portrayed their roles in a superb manner especially Ji chang Wook. He really nailed being a Healer. So strong yet clingy. I am so in love with his character.
The story is great. Honestly, I’ve watched lots of K Drama and I can’t seem to move on with Healer. Nothing compares. You’ll experience a roller coaster emotion in this drama. Two thumbs up. And I think it deserves more than its rating.
And the OST. It's perfect for every scene.
And I am watching it for the Nth time and I am still enjoying it.

Story: I've always had a thing for lawyers dramas, I don't know why. Maybe because everyone seems so confident and determined? I don't even know for sure. But "Remember" is something different. I love how the main character is portaited in a more realistic way than the others. He may look confident, but inside he is just as frightened as any normal human being would be in his position. But even so, he won't ever give up on his purpose; he won't ever give up on being brave.
Acting/Cast: The cast is amazing, the actors are really talented indeed. But as I was watching this wonderful drama, the one who caught my eye was the villain. He kept suprising me until the very end; he is one of the best villains ever!
Music: I don't really pay attention to the music, but sometimes there are some songs that get stuck in my head even if I want or not. In this drama the music was kind of meh. I mean it was okay, but not so awesome that I will always remember it.
Rewatch Value: YES YES YES! I would rewatch it anytime! The whole drama was like an emotional roller coaster for me, and I am 100% sure it will be like that for you too.
Overall: I really think you should try watching this drama now! Almost every detail was realistic, there weren't any cliches (in my opinion).
Give it a try and tell me what you think :)

As a fan of revenge dramas, I was sad to find this drama to be rather terrible. Info dropping nonstop, making the villains WAY TOO EVIL, and twists that don't even make much sense when you logically take a stop back. All of the main characters actions were reckless. I didn't believe anything. A waste of a good idea, and a great cast.
Revenge dramas work best, in my opinion, when the balance between good and evil is hard to distinguish. You want the main character to win, but you question the morals behind what they are doing. This drama doesn't have that. Everything is written out for you.
"This person is evil, hate them, look at how evil they are. Also, believe this ridiculous jump in accusations being made! Just do it. Don't question it!"
Snore.

Acting/Cast :
The main cast was brilliant. Ueno Juri did a great job, as she normal does, and I honestly feel a bit robbed that the writing held her back so much. Odagiri Joe did a good job as well.
The supporting cast, however, I felt that some of them didn't fit the rolls well. A few of the doctors and nurses didn't look old enough to have been in the positions they were in 15 years ago. It made me a bit confused about what was going on at times.
===
Music:
I loved the insert song, and the music was spot on. It reminded me a lot of Hiroyuki Sawano's style, who I love, but it was actually done by Yokoyama Masaru. I will have to pay more attention to him in the future.

Rewatch Value:
No. I wouldn't wish this on myself twice, ever.

The story was alright. I usually love slice of life romances, so I had no real problem with the plot (unlike many people, who complain that the drama doesn't have a plot at all). The thing is that the story was VERY fun and entertaining, even if at many points it was too over the top. I must admit there were a few episodes that I felt were too unbelievable (especially episodes 11 and 12), but they were still fun. And well, the 'villain', was ridiculous.
The cast was mostly brilliant. Song Joong-ki absolutely steals the show. He's extremely charismatic, and I 'm sure he could have chemistry even with a wall. Many people don't like Song Hye Kyo, but I think she did the best with what she was given. Jin Goo and Kim Ji Won (especially her) were great as the second lead, although I didn't found their story that interesting. From the supporting cast I must praise Seo Jeong Yeon and Lee Seung Jun, because their characters were one of my favorite things in this drama. On the other hand, I felt Onew was incredibly over the top, especially in the earthquake episodes.
The soundtrack was brilliant. I'm used to watching mostly j-dramas, where there is only 1 insert song, or 2 at most. But here there were a lot, and I think I loved every single one.
Another thing that must be pointed out are the production values. The show lookes GREAT, it really shows that it had a very big budget, and it even felt like a blockbuster at times.
Like I said, the story is very fun and entertaining, so I'm pretty sure this has a fantastic rewatch value.
To sum up, I think DOTS is a very entertaining drama, even if at times it's too over the top or unbelievable. And honestly, it's worth watching just for the cast and the production values.

Come Back, Mister is a brilliantly acted, laugh out loud funny, and deeply heartfelt drama. I cannot say enough good things about it. It's difficult to pull off unique and original these days because there are SO many dramas that everything has just about been done at least once. Yet somehow Come Back, Mister succeeds in doing just that.
Rain has some of the best acting skills out there bar none (and he looks better than ever!). Oh Yeon-seo? O-M-G-! Spectacular performance! The chemistry between her character and Honey Lee's, was really something to behold especially in k-drama land! If this woman does not get recognized come award season, something is seriously amiss.
While I am anxiously awaiting for Yoon Shi Yoon's return in Mirror of the Witch, Come Back, Mister is the best drama of the year hands down for me thus far. : ) Highly recommend!

The Good:
1. The main actors are tremendous! I started watching because I liked Wallace, but in the end I fell in love with Cecilia. They played the main characters perfectly portraying the chemistry and forbidden romantic tension between the emperor and the doctress. Although these actors were awesome, just like in any other drama some of the supporting cast got the side-eye.
2. In a long drama like this it is difficult to tell if days, months or years are passing, I liked that the drama gave hints to the timeline of how much time had passed so we wouldn’t be confused.
3. Overall, the story line was particularly thoughtfully written and didn’t stray too much from the main story of the happenings around the doctress. At every turn she was learning something new, meeting new people and being a total bad a@#.
4. I love a strong female lead character. This drama had one of the strongest female characters I have seen in a long time. Once she learned how to bat an eyelash and flirt a little she was unstoppable!
5. The character development was remarkable and well planned. I was so happy to see so many characters developing and having “life”
The Bad: Well… There isn’t much bad to the drama but in 50 episodes you find stuff wrong.
1. I HATED their lace front wigs, they didn’t match the hair colors for women and above all I saw clothes tags. smh. I couldn’t focus on what some of the characters were saying because of bad lace-mustaches… and don’t get me started on Essen’s drawn on eyebrows!! Hair and makeup should be ashamed, but the costumer was extraordinary.
2. Plot dragging- While the story line was good; there were some plot drags after ep 25 or so. The emperors temper tantrum would last way too long, or the empress’ despicable plotting would go on for way to long and I would be forced to jump ahead.
3. The evil stepmother. There were so many evil stepmother/evil women in this story I was sick of them. These women were overly evil, cunning and had poor excuses. I understand that this is historical based but the evil women in this were almost overwhelming.
Overall- this is worth the time! This has a unique somewhat happy ending but don't get your hopes high. If you like historical dramas with strong female characters, or if you just like strong female leads this one is for you!

The plot of the story wasn't very original, like I already stated, but it's not completely cliche either. Bringing boxing into the story instead of using only fists for fights is an interesting touch, and I liked the concept. It brought the drama together a lot nicer as well. I'm not sure if I was the only one who experienced this while watching it, but I kinda like the idea of Ah Yeong ending up with Yeok Ho instead of Jeong Woo, but I still liked her with him as well. I don't know, their relationship seemed more pure and less awkward. But oh well. I can't escape the second-lead syndrome.
The acting in Adolescence Medley was also better decent. Like many people have also complained, I don't like how they changed actors for Jeong Woo's older self, while they didn't do that for anyone else, but both actors did a great job of their role. I have to say that the best acting definitely goes to Choi Tae Joon, who played Yeok Ho. He was so believable and lovable, I'm not surprised he's gotten bigger roles since then as well.
The soundtracks, however, could definitely do with improving. Although there was only about 4 tracks to listen to, the only good one was Running in the Sky by Huh Gak (also the song the band played at the competition). Every other track was very boring and didn't match the rhyme of the drama.
I probably won't rewatch Adolescence Medley because it's more of a one-time thing.
Overall, this short drama could do with a lot of work (especially in the music department), but it was quite well done for a 4-episode drama. I would recommend to anyone who likes cute romances in a school setting.
