Things that i love:
1. He notice her first and secretly watch her during lunch hour with just a window between them
2. He appreciate her simplicity even though naive
3. Although rich he didnt flaunt his wealth or shower her with extravagant gifts. i gind the engraved plate he gave her along with his number as emergency contact romantic and refreshing
4. I enjoyed watching her with her cousin and girlfriend as well as parents
Things i dislike
1. The pace sometimes seem slow. i felt it could have been editted to 25episodes for a better flow and pace
2. Although acting wise was ok. I did find Zhang Han quite stony faced in some scenes which affected the chemistry as a result.
3. i wish the guy's character to be more proactive. He sometimes has to be told she's upset orworried by others before he act on it or reassure her
4. The proposal in my opinion wasn't that romantic
5. As a romance drama of 33episodes we should have been rewarded with more sweet moments or romantic scenes. i kept waiting for their kiss among the fields as seen in the opening theme
6. Her character was decent enough although I wish she had caught on earlier. Doesn't hurt to be smarter
Overall i did enjoy it

The story was cute, an alien has a mission to find out what human tears are, while the main girl is in a difficult situation in her life, so the 2 of them met.
It was nice to begin with, but it was too short, and many many things were left unclear. I know, it was only 1 day, it was only 50 minutes, but it felt rushed as hell.
Also, it was kind of confusing...
The acting was good, both leads were nice to watch.
I really enjoyed the music at the end, it was very nice! <3
About the rewatch value, I don't know if I will ever rewatch it. Perhaps not, it was that kind of drama that I will most likely forget about in a few days.
Overall, I gave it a 6. If you are bored and want to watch something very short, you should give it a try. The 50 minutes are filled with action, you won't get bored watching it!

Great actors and guest roles are great also the music from aiko never made me disappointed.
Will keep this short but hope anyone who read my comment will give this drama a chance and watch it through, something that can clear your head after tiring week from works.

Characters/Acting: I will eventually like Hwang Jung Eum's acting. I will. I keep watching things she's in and I want to like her (I think she has a great look), but I am not a fan of the flamboyant over-acting I keep associating with her. It definitely fits the characters she's playing, but I wish was a little bit less funny faces and shouting. Mostly the shouting. Her character was fun and lively, and I really appreciated how positive her character was. Park Seo Joon was great as always, and my only complaint was that I actually liked his hair more in Kill Me, Heal Me (and I can't stand the parted hair in the middle). His character was annoyingly hot/cold in the beginning, and I appreciated how he mellowed out as the story progressed. Now about Si Won... oh Si Won how I wanted to love you. I actually kinda did, but there was something very annoying about his character as second lead I had a hard time getting behind. Maybe he was just a little bit too silly, or a little bit too tough on Kim Hye Jin, but I was sadly not pro Si Won. Which is a tragedy. We should always be behind Si Won. The BFF was good, and I definitely didn't hate her. I was actually really sympathetic to her and the position she'd been put in. Special shout out to Jung Da Bin, who is becoming my favorite child actor ever. I look forward to more from her.
Overall: Again, it was fine. I'm not saying don't watch it, but if you've got something else on your list I'd go with that first. Like every time. If you're in it for the leads, watch Kill Me, Heal Me instead. The camaraderie is much better, and it has Ji Sung.

And boy, did I regretted that choice! Not because this drama was a flop, but it was an absolute crack! I find myself marathoning the whole series one episode after another for the entire week without doing much work.
In terms of plot, I have read the novel prior to watching the show, so I came in with the expectation of a highly intricate and well-woven plot. But the changes made in the series has been mostly for the better part and I didn't find any dissatisfying moments at all! In fact, I think they have changed some of the things I could care less from the book and make the entire plot more tightly woven in terms of the narrative with a more focused perspective on the battle to the throne. I know the ending has been slightly controversial and I am glad they have decided to stay true to the original work and kept it the way it is, except for elaborating on truly dealing with how differently each character would react. The ending for this show is one of my top favourites of all time for sure!
For the acting in this series, I have to say I was surprised at the 180º change Hu Ge is able to pull off. He has always been associated as a pretty face in my impression and at most a decent actor. However, this series has officially pulled him out from the slightly-better-than-mediocre crowd and into one of the best actors I've seen in a long while! The fact that he is able to overcome most of his trauma from the accident and is able to show so much more through the way he communicates with both of his eyes is a huge step towards becoming a truly great actor. I think he has the potential to keep up with this quality of work as long as he meets a good script and good director.
This show is a definite must-watch for anyone who is interested in historical dramas or even just for the eye-candy! There are so many different types of men to choose from, it's like a feast of varieties in terms of your own preference. One thing I also really liked is the strong female characters in this show and the romance between the lead characters aren't as forced as it was in the Disguiser (a series which featured many from the same cast and the romance was handled very poorly). The fact that each woman can stand for her own is impressive and that the relationships between characters (not limited to romantic relationships) are so much more realistic and sincere without the forcibly added romance commonly seen in other dramas.

This is an extremely underrated drama! The plot and premise may seem typical and overused, with the usual high school scenario and a friendship that slowly turns into love, but the characters were very well-written and well-acted by the seemingly rookie actors in the drama. It may just be a personal opinion, but I understood the emotions of the characters and I could relate strongly to them. The female protagonist (Li Li) has a lovely personality - not too headstrong, but not submissive either, and the male protagonist (Pei Shang Xuan) is very charming, and as the show progressed I felt that they were truly made for each other! If you like high school dramas, but with a lot more emotional depth than other happier ones (such as Sassy Go Go, this is definitely the drama for you! However, despite the seemingly flawless writing and character development, this drama did not end the way I wanted it to - I would not write spoilers but I would just say that the ending was so poorly written that I did not even realise that the show had ended.
There's this particular song from this drama that I loved - Let You Go by ????, other than this song I wouldn't say that the rest of the songs were particularly outstanding.

The acting was so much on par with their characters especially the actor that played Lee Bom. The feelings of any child finding out that she has an illness and that nobody would want to go close to her was portrayed flawlessly. The relationship between mother and child will tug at your heart because they are just that good.
In my opinion, the music wasn't memorable for me and i can't remember anything distinctively bad about it.
This is the kind of drama you would watch once and feel so sad while watching it that you wouldn't want to watch it after again. Its not that its not good or anything but you just have some dramas that are too painful to rewatch and this is one of them. Its the norm 16 episodes, 1 hour each so if you're really into it then its worth watching it again.
I can't imagine a child having to go through knowing she has HIV (she doesn't know at first) and having her friends, neighbours distance themselves away from her but this drama has so many strong feelings about that. Don't watch this for the romance but watch it for the very impactful story. If you like touching stories you won't regret watching this one.

This drama had a little Iris, a little City Hunter and a little ER all in one. Really good chemistry between the main couple. But the secondary couple also had a wonderful story line as well as great chemistry. Some really moving moments between both couples and some really funny light hearted moments as well. The supporting casts were also really awesome. Great acting from everyone.
Awesome OST, read that it hit the music charts hard in several Asian countries.
As much as I enjoyed the romance of this drama, it also made me think of the danger and sacrifice that our own real life service men and women face for our countries. I also appreciate the many doctors that volunteer all the time for Doctor's Without Borders.
A very well done drama, worthy of the buzz and the high ratings it received. I loved Song Joong Ki so much, I looking into more of his dramas. INNOCENT MAN is looking really good.

I'm new to the actors but they were all fantastic for me. There were no 'weak' actors at all! Ji Chang Wook was just wow. He was mesmerizing, vulnerable, the list goes on. I loved his various personas he put on as a disguise and I especially loved Bong Soo; Chang Wook played him to be so clumsy and lovable. I loved Park Min Young's character, one of my favorite heroines in a while. Shout out to Kim Mi Kyung. She was seriously amazing as the Ahjumma/skilled hacker. People love or hate Ji Tae's character, Moon Ho. Personally, I loved Moon Ho. Ji Tae played Moon Ho to be such a nuanced and faceted character that was neither 'good' nor 'evil'.
Now, the OTP. Wow, just wow. How can so much emotion be demonstrated with just a caress, a brush of the hand, and longing eyes? Somehow, Ji Chang Wook and Park Min Young are able to do that and their chemistry is just sizzling. It's palpable. It's longing. It's just plain hot. I appreciated how Yeoung Shin (ParkMinYoung) was able to stand her own (not the damsel in distress) and how she helped Jung Hoo (JiChangWook) come out from behind his mask that was Healer.
The storyline was so intricate but the web of stories blended well together. Romance didn't detract from the action, and vice versa. I enjoyed seeing how dark/dirty politics were, and the writer wrote that well, balancing it with the romance and the revenge plot. There were some episodes that were so elaborately well done that it was only near the last few minutes that everything just suddenly clicked together and made sense. Huge props to the writer of Healer-amazing!
When I finished the last episode, I was like : !!!!!!. I felt that buzz you feel after finishing marathoning an amazing drama. However, as I began to re-watch some episodes immediately after my first run through, there were flaws that even my Healer-induced craze couldn't overlook. Honestly? The last 2-3 episodes weren't great-or at least not on the caliber of the first 17 episodes. Everything felt rushed and though the ending was good, it felt glossed over. The multiple storylines that the drama had handled with finesse thus far, couldn't be tied up in the end. Some were rashly tied up, others were untied; it just wasn't as satisfactory as I had hoped it would go. Additionally, Healer lost some of his touch near the end; there weren't as many action scenes and Yeoung Shin barely appeared... That said, don't let that deter you from watching Healer because the critiques I made are minimal compared to the overall beauty that was Healer. I had to mention them though because they did distract me from completely loving this drama since I was absorbed and in love with the first 15 episodes or so. So admittedly, I felt a bit deflated after the end.
Music was lovely! There were lots of beautiful instrumentals that captured the emotions of scenes. I especially loved I Will Protect You by Ji Chang Wook himself. He has a nice voice!
I already re-watched my favorite scenes too many times. I think the second time around, though, I might fast-forward some of the political stuff though because it's no longer suspenseful since I would know what happens, and what the secrets are.
I could honestly go on and on about this drama but to sum it up...
Seriously watch it if...
-you want to see a beautiful, supportive romance that is full of trust and heart stopping romantic scenes.
-you like seeing power struggles (dirty politics)/revenge
-eye candy! (ahem Ji Chang Wook)
-no vindictive second leads
-lots of action, kind of like Mission Impossible and Ji Chang Wook is Tom Cruise in terms of the Healer going on missions.
-references to Superman and his kryptonite-and comparing that to Healer, I thought it was it was an interesting comparison.
Be prepared to be in withdrawal after the final episode. I know I still am.
If you don't fulfill any of the above, watch it anyways because that's how good Healer is. Or just watch it for Ji Chang Wook because that's a valid reason anyways! (9.75/9)
