emotional torture

The movie was something that, at first glance, doesn’t seem to be very interesting or engaging. Everything progresses rather slowly. it’s not an action movie, and the story mainly focuses on two people. However, the plot, acting, and cinematography were so outstanding that watching it was captivating right from the start.

I watched the film primarily because of Billkin, and he met my expectations. The acting was incredible, from both Billkin and the rest of the cast. The film made me develop an attachment to both characters, even though at the beginning, I didn’t feel any empathy for either the grandmother or Billkin.

By the middle, I realized it was an emotional torture. From that point on, my tears kept flowing non-stop until the very end, and as someone very emotional, I’m still processing the film, even though I watched it yesterday.

The film kept forcing tears out of me, and every scene was more and more heartbreaking with each passing minute. At some point, I just felt so tortured that I wanted to turn it off. It was too much for me.

Despite this, "How to Make Millions Before Grandma Dies" deserves a very high rating. The cinematography is wonderful, everything is beautiful, and the exceptional acting moves our emotions. The plot is sad, but also very true to life.

I forget how do I stumble on this one... But here I am finished watch this...

Story about 2 young man, Aki & Haru. They are roommate that start their university days... And this is the story of their boring daily life... Haha... Even at some point, I even question did Aki really university student. Cause I never really see him in the class, just Haru that attending classes....

For me this not a BL. Aki & Haru more like a roommate, tops is best friend than boyfriends.

I like how they explained to us how to make the dish... The dish is make me drooling. But except that, this one boring everyday movie...

If you want to just be relax & have background sound, this movie is for you...

liked without knowing

I could only understand the narration part and some japanese and already liked it, so if I could fully understand it that would be even more amazing. The cast is incredible and I would love to see more of them together. Just by watching them you can grasp a bit of what's going on, isn't that what makes an actor incredible? Even without understanding the dialogue, you get to feel what they feel or figure out what's going on. I may be a bit biased in here since Kento is my favourite japanese actor, but really... Yanagi and Kento should have more and more roles with different characters because at this point they can portray anything.

movie indimenticabile

Semplicemente meraviglioso!!!

Chi non l'ha visto deve rimediare!! Una coppia stupenda di giovanissimi attori Son Ye jin e Lee Min ki trattasi infatti di un movie del 2011 che hanno un affiatamento e una chimica perfetta!!

Storia che di horror posso dire ha poche scene che saltano dal comedy al romance in un attimo!!! La storia racconta di Yeo ri che durante il liceo a causa di un incidente è morta per pochi minuti e al suo risveglio ha iniziato a vedere i fantasmi, (si richiama un po il drama the master's sun ) solo che il paramedico che ha salvato Lei per prima fa morire l'amica, il suo fantasma quindi perseguitera' la nostra yeo ri per vendetta facendola allontanare anche dalla sua stessa famiglia. Incontra però sul suo cammino un mago Jo goo che la farà entrare nel suo spettacolo di magia a causa del suo aspetto da attira fantasmi.

Qui inizia la loro storia insieme che è semplicemente perfetta..tante ma tante risate e anche lacrime perché si la recitazione di Ye jin è super e ti emoziona nell'anima ❤️ dovranno lottare per sopravvivere al fantasma dell'amica ma niente è impossibile se ci si ama no??
Resto sempre dell'idea che i movie e i drama più vecchiotti siano così veri così magici così travolgenti che a volte mi chiedo dov'è finita questa parte di realtà oggi!!.. Ripensando al movie sto ancora ridendo perché a un certo punto in una scena non vi dirò dove ..la nostra bellissima yeo ri si gira verso il nostro mago e gli dice.... ah io vorrei proprio provare un orgasmo..... ??

Dopo questo posso solo dirvi che merita assolutamente di essere visto!!!

FINALLY Found this movie

I loved the series and searched high and low for the movie for 2 years. Finally found it here: https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x8fv01n

There must be some law in Japan that men can't kiss on screen, so if you're hoping for one here, it never happens. Like most movies in the BL genre, it exists in this twilight zone between gay and straight romance. Well, here's an idea: skip the romance and just make it a platonic bromance. And that is, indeed what we have here, despite the wedding and exchaging rings and all that. Audiences find simulated intimate scenes, whether gay or straight, too cringeworthy to watch, and we are spared any of that here. However, as this is a Japanese drama, why not send them to an onsen to establish some level of intimacy besides sleeping together. The film sort of putters along for nearly two hours without much visual excitement.

Akaso Eiji is cute but his character arc should have overcome his constant state of gay panic. Or maybe he just isn't up to the task as an actor? Machida Keita, on the other hand, gives a wonderfully subtle and nuanced performance. I've seen these two together on TV shows and they have great chemistry together in real life, but that seems to have been lost in the direction here. I think with straight actors who are too squeamish to kiss another guy, it's best to write out all of the gay subtext and tell them they're in a buddy movie.

I really wish I could have given this a 10 across the board but it's sort of like that feeling you get when you're desperately tring to breathe and you can't satisfy yourself with the feeling of a full breath.

Well, there's a Filipino version of this, so I'll seek that one out to see if they got more creative with it.

Absolutely amazing movie

After the first viewing, I was surprised by the scope of the story, which I could not understand, and the absolutely perfect performances of the actors. Further, the story was sifted inside me, the individual scenes penetrated more and more deeply into my soul. The creators set the viewer in the mood with this exceptional piece so that it is not immediately clear and the story can be imagined from different angles. Yao Hua (a long-haired and headdressed symposia) is working at a butcher's stall in the market in 2022, his father is already a bit deranged, and suddenly Yao finds himself 31 years back in 1991, where he is mistaken for the missing Yong Hui-e and in the group of four friends he is especially interested in the only girl Kang Min, he sees a younger version of his father Bao Ding and finds out that the father is gay and in love with An Jian. I had tears in my eyes at some parts of the movie. The time (1991) in which Yao Hua finds himself is not as welcoming and open as the year 2022, in this year the first democratic changes are just beginning in Taiwan and the Kuomintang was abolished, and this time is excellently portrayed in the film. I also liked that all the characters are not gay like we sometimes see in Thai dramas, and that made everything more natural. Taiwan is a concept not only in the world of BL, and it is so, at least for me, here as well... The film needs to be watched at least two or three times. Excellent music.
The ending is not translated, about 58 subtitles, so we got a spoken word translation from a Slovak lady living in Taipei, who translated the ending into Czech (Czech and Slovak languages ​​are very similar and they understand each other).

Great acting and atmospheric gangster drama lifts otherwise predictable story

Thanks to Uhm Tae Goo's swoony and gallant turn as ML in My Sweet Mobster, I decided to check him out in a different gangster role, Night in Paradise, which is decidedly the antithesis of the light-hearted romcom that aired a few months ago.

Don't let the title fool you, there isn't a moment in this drama that could be described as a paradise. Instead, I assume it refers to the darkness and brutal violence that arrives in Jeju Island, a bucolic paradise of peace and tranquility.

Uhm Tae Goo and Jeon Yeo Been are great in this dark and moody crime drama about vengeance and retribution. But the story itself is not especially original and within the first few minutes of the film, it seems quite obvious what will happen, who is behind it, and how everything will play out. But viewers want to keep watching anyway, even as each development unfolds as expected, all the way to the very predictable (yet admittedly quite satisfying) final minutes, thanks to Uhm Tae Good's sympathetic and compelling tragic figure and a script that still manages to create tension and drama.

If you can stomach the brutality and violence often found in these types of K dramas and films, then Night in Paradise is still a pretty decent watch, especially if you want to see Uhm Tae Goo in a much grittier role. My rating falls somewhere between 7.5 and 8.

Not as bad as it seems

This was such a cute, funny movie. I laughed out loud and 'awwwed' in equal measure. The bath scene was hilarious.

It was highly entertaining and has a lovely happy ending.

I didn't really understand why Kurosaki Haruto (played by Nakajima Kento) was such an enormous a** to her unless it was because of the old "You only hurt the ones you love." Not that it was an excuse but anyone watching this movie knew he liked her from the beginning. I was still thrilled when she chose him at the end.

I also don't understand why she accepted his behavior unless it was because he was a hottie and she still saw herself as an 'ugly' duckling. Which I don't think is an excuse either.

If you like cute, fluffy, romantic movies with a highly aggressive, possessive male lead give this one a try. Just remember it's all fiction and not real life.

However if you prefer your male leads to be sweet, gentle puppies this is definitely not the movie for you.
