"I´ve been lost in the dark side of the moon for so long...but lucky me,today i get to see how beautiful the bright side of the moon is. .- "Ae" Thanakim

"Lhong Ngao Jun" (which mean " Enchanted Moon") is a old-school thai lakhorn i have had my eyes on for a very long time before i decided to sit down to watch it.It stars the wonderful veteran actress Kob Suvanant as the demure and goodhearted "Pim" Pimchanok who becomes the victim of "Ae" Thanakim`s revenge played by Stephan Tasit. Her natural beauty and deep core patience and calmness enchants Ae`s souldeep anger and turns it into love.He mistakes her for being the woman who broke his friends heart and caused him to die on a car accident while driving drunk-never even suspecting that she has a evil younger sister Khem who is the real culprit and whose life reason is to cause every trouble for Pim.

"I have no right to love anyone, but i do have the right not to love you"
-"Pim" Pimchanok to Ae
***
So many aspects of this plot reminded me of "Ngao Asoke" especially with how sacrificial Pim was when it came to her happiness-she was willing to beg Ae to marry her sister so her relationship with her family would be peaceful, full well knowing that Ae loves her and not Khem. One more thing i found familiar was how Ae was after her THE WHOLE TIME!First he followed her around to terrorize her and destroy her life to pieces but that need of violence and revenge slowly dies down when Pim hits him with a rock after he forcefully kissess her. With a bloody face he drives away from there and get stuck in a car accident and wakes up with half his body paralyzed.Because of her guilt Pim takes care of him those 6 months and helps him recover. I thought it wonderful how devoted and smitten Ae is towards her and gets jealous of every other man around her-even his own bestfriend P`Kim,LOL.
I wish this lakhorn could have been directed and edited better. Some scenes are cut down in middle of conversations which frustrated me at times. There are some scenes that are done very well.Love how the hospital Pim works in are organized in a very realistic way.I also came to fall for Ae`s bestfriend P´Kim (have seen the actor in many other lakhorns)..and how he mocked lakhorns although they were living in one themselves. There is also the beginning scene i find very endearing when Ae,P´Kim and their now dead friend Thip drove bicycles when they were little boys and met the very young Pim who fetches her nursing bag to help the hurt little Thip-all the three boys thought she was an angel,LOL.That scene was so adorable, and i found it more adorable that Ae as a child still looked into her garden every day after that just to look for her..but she had already moved away at that point. It makes it even more ironic that their fates get sealed into a pact of revenge a decade later.
