This was cute but I didn't really feel invested in it.  Not bad though.

More weird stories from Manga. This one is a bit dark in mood, although the story isn't particularly dark. Good acting and sets.

For me this one started off meh, got good, ended meh,  Some cute moments worth watching,

I'm not sure this warrants such a high rating independently but I really loved the Manga. It's really a nice story.

Oh my god this one just about killed me.  I really didn't like the ending but after thinking on it some more I understood the time aspect.  Do yourself a favor and read the comments on the show's page about when to quit watching for a better experience.

This is fundamentally a comedy with some deep moments, and unexpectedly great performances. Very entertaining.

I liked a lot of things about this - the music, the ensemble, etc.  It wasn't perfect but it is pretty good,

I was really into this story, which is a time skip romance between a boy living in pandemic shutdown and a boy living under martial law in The Philippines.  Unfortunately execution was only mediocre.

CW for a few violent scenes.

Unfortunately the only character in this that I didn't like was the main character.  I found him just not interesting or appealing.  I guess this is made by the same people as Behind Cut, which I liked better.

A lot of it I sort of didn't get, and it was weird that they just put a  new guy in.

I didn't understand some of this movie but I liked it anyway.

This movie was pretty well done, CW HIV

I was not sold on the first half, but the second half was pretty good.  Definitely topical considering how the Korean music industry chews people up and spits them ou. 

The blurb on here doesn't make sense, but this is a 12 minute film about a guy who is studying with his friend, with whom he is not out, when his drunk boyfriend shows up and makes a minor scene.  It's pretty good.

This one I liked, there was quite a bit of subtext there and the ending was good.

A lot of people didn't like this episode because it didn't really focus on the main couple, but I liked the backstory.  If it's setting us up for the sequel to be  Yi Zi Tong though I'm not sure I'll love it.

Haha I cheered at the end Minjae was a jerk.

I thought this one was really well done, you'll absolutely feel like you're in a small Taiwanese restaurant with these two exes while they experience all of the awkward emotions ex lovers feel after a painful split.  It's a short film, 16 minutes

At the start of this one I was dubious but I actually liked it.  The kid who plays Chol is adorable with EXTREME dimples.  For a stepbrother romance it actually handles some teen romance issues OK.  There is a lot of unrequited like and they don't try to pair up everyone to tie things up.  We'll see how season 2 goes.  

This is the "slice of life" equivalent in BL drama. It doesn't move fast or have a specific plot other than just the couple getting to know each other. That said the boys in it are REALLY CUTE and the production quality is good. I think it's all an ad for a supermarket but I think it's worth watching.

This is short and to the point but the poetry is lovely.

This is a little hard to follow in places but it's a great story.

This was really good right up until the ending, which I wasn't sure how to react to.  Or even really what happened.

But the story is a good one.

I really liked the characters in this but was frustrated by the ending and yet another Thai BL drama deciding to use a girl as a foil.

I didn't not like it, but it seemed to be missing a spark.  Season 1 seemed to end sort of abruptly, maybe due to covid.  I thought both actors were cute but maybe the characters were a little one dimensional 

This starts off like the usual cute "boys stuck living together" story and takes a very dark turn. CW for violence.  But I was pretty impressed with the performances of the actors, and the story took a couple of flips that I thought were interesting.  But warned that this is not a BL.

This was not my favorite from this studio,  I found it sort of hard to follow, but the concept is cool.

This isn't as predatory as it might seem at first glance.  The naked boy is a metaphor for unfinished business, overall an interesting film.

The quality on this is pretty high but out of two couples, one of them is problematic (stepbrother romance with sexual assault involved).  While airing a lot of comments struggled with this pairing, so be warned.

The other couple is extremely adorable though.

I thought the main couple was super cute but the girl supporting characters were all annoying and added nothing.

This is low budget but pretty deep I thought.  

I didn't love this as much as the series it spun off from, but it is cute.

This series got cancelled by the censors, so you kind of get left hanging right when it seems to be building tension,  bummer.

This one is just extremely weird. CW for coercive sex, etc.  

I didn't love this as much as other people did.  I liked it, but I didn't love it.

I liked this well enough, although I thought some parts were drawn out longer than necessary for the story.

And again I like the weird Japanese plots.  

The best part of this was the name "Sarawat" which is just a great word don't you think? By the end I'm baffled by whether this is truly a love story because they seem to avoid touching each other.

This is watchable but I got bored of them fighting over the same things by episode 8.

A mostly mediocre series with a few engaging characters.

I have to admit it took me a few minutes to understand the ending.

I skipped through a lot of this because the pacing is just really bad, but the central plotline was really cute.

So the first 5 episodes are meh, but by episode 10 it's positively steamy (haha that's a sauna joke).  Main couple has chemistry.

Downsides: one of the actors reminded me of Ben Stiller for some reason and that messed me up a bit.  Also the parents in these dramas are seriously stressing me out.

I tend to rate these Thai dramas lower because I find fan service and melodrama more annoying than a young person might. This one is full of melodrama.

I didn't really understand parts of this but it's an interesting premise.  Very short.

This was OK.  It was a cute romance.  There wasn't much else going on.

I thought this short was pretty well done but they really leave the ending hanging.

The main plotline is sort of interesting, I felt like it was made less watchable by fan service. Also having one of the actors speaking Korean in a Taiwanese move confused me even though I don't speak either Korean or Mandarin.

Short film (30 minutes).  A lot of it was sort of hard to interpret, but a former lover plants the seeds of mistrust in a couple and the film follows the aftermath.

Sort of hard to figure out what's going on in this one.

This is pretty corny but also cute

It's interesting but also maybe tries a little too hard.  But I like the actors this studio uses.

So a young man goes on a cycling trip in the country and injures himself.  He limps along until he finds a farm run by two EXTREMELY MUSCULAR cousins.  

This is another short, about 30 minutes.  Still it moved a little slow at times.  Does contain a rather long drone shot of naked butts to compensate.

This was an ambitious story and while it had potential, I'm not sure the writing, acting, or directing was up to the task.  Some of the boys were cute but there was no chemistry.

This is a weird and not very well done movie but I still was sort of captivated by it lol.  

This turns out to be a sort of interesting story, but the censorship still really makes it less interesting.

This wasn't terrible but it was a bit overdone to the point that the emotional parts didn't quite hit. Needs trigger warning for rape and abuse.

I actually liked this fine until the last 2 episodes and the ending was such a hot mess I ended up annoyed at the whole thing.

This wasn't unwatchable, the characters were cute.  But it's a romcom, which doesn't always translate.  And the trope of "confused gay who is homophobic out of habit" isn't my favorite.

The setup of the homophobe whose gay friends all structure their lives around hiding what they are to keep him happy sort of needs to go away.  But Chon's mother is perfect, exactly the kind of mother I tried to be (and probably didn't always succeed).

I always see the characters in these things as my kids so I can't stand to see them abused ?

Hm, this is a great concept but the execution is only so so. The pacing is off and parts of it are confusing.  The dubbed violin is cheesy.  But the acting wasn't terrible and I liked the story.

The story was very good and each individual scene was fine, but the way they were all put together was choppy and hard to follow at times. Boring music. CW: Suicide.

I found this better than the first one but still no character development to speak of.

I really liked the Kong episode but this one I found annoying.

There's not really a plot arc here.  It's just a slice of life of a guy trying to get over his ex.

This wasn't badly made, just a little contrived.

Short film about a boy trying to come out to his mother, who does not want to know.  

This had some cute moments but overall was just a lot of potential and very little execution.

This was enjoyable but also doesnt really fill out the plot as well as it could.

The acting wasn't terrible but the film just isn't put together that well. Also please just quit with the trope of parents fainting or falling ill when they find out their kids are gay, it's a manipulative trope and sets a coercive mood.

This story doesn't make a lot of sense with the censoring.  I had to go read the novel to figure out what was going on.  Yuan Yang is worse in the series and Gu Qing Pei is less scheming, the novel is better although it contains rape scenes.

This wasn't as good as the first, unfortunately.  

This had a moderately high production value and good actors, it just wasn't well written.  Too slow, too little story for so many episodes, some of the couples had chemistry but some were hard to get interested in.  Then the last few episodes got derailed by covid so they were all filmed individually or as phone calls, and there wasn't any real resolution.  

I dropped this and then completed it, but I really disliked the hazing aspect and the implication that humiliating students was a growth experience.

OK so this wasn't quote unquote "good" and it didn't have "good acting" or "good production" but it is about a guy whose boyfriend is a ghost so it has that going for it.

This was a really complicated concept to try to do in 25 minutes.  Got a bit confusing at times, camera work wasn't great.  

I only watched the Tee/Fuse main plot and the parts of Frame/Book that centered around mental health and abuse.  All of the other subplots were annoying.  When you have an ensemble romance and closure becomes mix and matching couples it gets super boring.

I was sad that Fink/Mook totally went away because Mook was awesome.  Also they tried to add in more sexy scenes and rehabilitate every bad person and marry off couples.  Things don't need to be that cleanly resolved, for crying out loud they are 17.

But Tee/Fuse was still cute.

It's only 30 minutes long but not much is happening so it seems longer.

This starts off possibly interesting but doesn't really go anywhere.

This is just an unrequited love story, or a partially requited love story, or a love story requited too late.  The sequel is completely incomprehensible though.

This both silly and metaphorical and in the end I didn't really know whether I liked it or not.

This is a pretty simple story but the actors don't have much chemistry and the script doesn't do much to help build any real tension.

They didn't really explain  why anything happened the way it did and it made me confused.
