One of the most unnecessarily aggravating dramas I've watched for a variety of reasons. I only completed it because the episodes were relatively short and there were only 11 of them. Though I did groan, after episode 10 when I remembered I had 45 minutes to go before this ride was over.

First, the leads had awkward chemistry. In the beginning, it was ok because they had just met, but later it just became strange to watch. Don't get me wrong, it did have a little to do with the obvious age difference, but I could have gotten passed that had there been real sparks between the two which would have made their need to be together all the more powerful. Alas, I didn't see or feel any fireworks.

Second, I wasn't sure if the main couple's actions were spurred by noble idiocy or mere idiocy. Reasons behind most of their actions were seldom clear. In addition, their reactions to all the supporting characters were often murky. I kind of think that had more to do with the writing and direction, than the acting, but subtext was sorely needed and missing. Additionally, the leading lady's acting often seemed forced and less believable than the leading man and supporting cast.

I don't want to scare anyone away from watching this, BUT I don't want anyone to have high expectations since previous reviews seemed to be glowing.

Since it was set in 1999, I tried to remember that a LOT has changed regarding attitude and treatment of women, marriage, and gender roles, but coming from the present day mindset it was a challenge. Mostly because although the social commentary was obvious from several character's points of view, I never fully accepted that this was also supposed to be entertainment, which I kind of expect when watching a drama.

There were some lovely moments, and seeing how much has changed over the years was interesting to watch, so I would recommend this show for someone interested in watching an older drama in order to study the gender roles and social norms of those times.

Before I begin, I do not understand why people consider this an average police drama. I have not seen a lot of police dramas and I enjoyed this drama. I am also a huge fan of Yonekura Ryoko because I have now seen 3 of her dramas, so it was good to see her in a different role. I thought the story was good as well as the cases they had to solve. I thought the cast did a good job. Especially, the Chief of the team and his lead negotiator. I do not re watch dramas often and I will not re watch this one, but I will watch season two and the movie. If you are a fan of problem solving without violence, reading people, female empowerment and predicting how things will end, then, this is drama is for you.

it is good drama but I prefer Hana yuri dango as the plot is more interesting and what I see Japanese drama is more hyperbole than Korean one but the song and the actor/actress the boys before flower is the best.

I usually shy away from dramas which female leads are older than the male leads especially when it's obvious on their looks. I don't know why but that is not just my cup of tea. That is why even when i heard so many good feedback about YWCS i chose not to watch it. But boy, how i thank my lucky star that i gave this drama a chance and i did not regret doing so! Otherwise i would never find out the reason why they have to choose much younger male lead and what an awesome reason that was! i don't really get starstruck with korean actors but kim soo hyun left a tremendous impact on me. he's so fly!
Jeon Ji Hyeon played her role superbly. how many times i laughed in most of her scenes. she has so many unpredictable hilarious scenes! although she really looks mature in her role, i was by NO means bothered by it because she was perfect for that role.
now about the drama, although i find it a little bit dragging, all in all it was exceptional. if i"m going to watch it again, i will just skip on the scenes they were not in.

Love it and i love "My Destiny" their ost.

I'm gonna miss this drama!

OVERALL
Good, light, fun drama that can be easily completed in a nutshell, without even realizing. Watch if 1) You want something without too much drama, 2) You like the fake-relationship plot element, 3) You don't want a cliche ending. Don't watch if 1) You're vulnerable to the second-lead syndrome, 2) You can't stand secondary females that are gold-diggers or leeches, 3) You are looking for a heart-felt, touching, emotional love story.

THE STORY
Another 'refreshed' plot, as I like to call them. While the premise is nothing new, the humor, the funny prologues, the quirky sound effects and the light feeling (as opposed to the common dramatic feel that seems to be more and more typical of Kdramas) manage to refresh it and suck you in. There are some flaws in this show; starting from very dislikable secondary female characters that seem bad but aren't but actually are but truly aren't, and ending with a main love story at times too slow, at times moving too quickly, without giving the viewers the time to understand the characters' feelings. But the lightness of the drama makes it attractive, entertaining and addictive, the background of both leads justify their character, and the few uncommon drama elements introduced in the plot - won't say them or it's a spoiler - win extra points for creativity.

THE ACTING
I had previously seen the main actors only in secondary roles, but here they managed to pull the story together, which was no simple thing, giving that I have a feeling a lot of it relied on their chemistry and acting skills. Jinwoon and Sunhwa were also quite good in their roles. I see a bright future in acting for the female idol.

THE MUSIC
The selection of tunes was absolutely brilliant and seemed to have, as main purpose, to facilitate laughter. The OST, therefore, is one I love with the show, but I probably wouldn't listen to independently of it.

REWATCH VALUE
Definite yes, but with some skipping.

This is a drama about a family and their stories. It is not about rich people. It is about working class people and their everyday struggle with life. It has lots of touching moments. In almost every episode I have laughed, cried, been given food for thought and felt my heart warm. There is so much depth in the stories and a lot of them are things that people may face in real life.

It is worth watching. I only wish I could find a copy of the main theme song. The words of the song really tell you what the show is all about.

I loved this drama! It's so cute and funny! But the best part is that it is so short that I was able to fit it into my busy schedule! I mean if you watch it non-stop you'll be over with it in about two and a half hours. But even for such a short drama, it's pretty good and memorable and you do feel connected to the characters.

Story: The story is really sweet, short and cute. It's easy to follow and there's humor but there's also sadness. Some parts are easy to relate to and I love the way it all plays out. If you want something practical then you should skip out on this one. But if you are okay with something absurd yet funny then you should definitely watch this!

Cinematography: I was very much impressed by the cinematography. Each scene was shot in such a way that it really brought out the feeling you, as a viewer, must be experiencing. I especially enjoyed that scene in which Gi Yeok and Min Ah are running to get to Min Ah's exam on time. The way they jumped from scene to scene was really fun to watch.

Actors/Characters: Everyone was great! I was very surprised with Sungyeol's acting! He did a wonderful job, both as Gi Yeok and the loan shark. Gi Yeok was so adorkable! I really enjoyed his character! Jihyun was good too, as Min Ah. Her acting wasn't mind blowing but she wasn't that bad either and her character was cute. All the side characters were so absurd and funny! Gi Yeok's friends were hilarious! I didn't even recognize Clara until I saw on MDL that she was in the drama! She was better here than in anything else I have seen her. She did a really great job! All the drama club folks were good (and funny) too and the guy who played Min Ah's husband did awesome acting!

Overall: This was a really fun drama to watch! I really enjoyed it. It has a cute story, good acting, and lots of humor! It's more on the mature side, in terms of the jokes and the language, but the content in itself is really sweet and reminds you of your first crush/love.

I now see why this show was one of the oustanding stars of the 2013 drama scene.

Firstly, if you have any knowledge of a real legal system, please suspend all belief. As a law graduate myself, I initially found it hard to sit through court proceedings in the show and discussions about legal issues, because I couldn't stop ranting at the screen about how unrealistic it was.

The 2 lead characters are fabulously crafted. I especially appreciate Hye Sung (Lee Bo Young). She doesn't fit the conventional female lead in a drama - she is feisty, honest, and doesn't stand for any BS. We have waited so long for a lady who can do things for herself, knows what she wants, and says what she wants (well most of the time).

This show not only has a compelling lead couple - its supporting characters have stories of their own to tell and they really shine. Those worth mentioning are Kwan Woo (Yoon Sang Hyun), Doyeon (Lee Da Hee) and Hye Sung's mum (Kim Hae Sook). Not only do they each stand for certain principles and characteristics that are essential to the two lead characters' growth; by the end of the show, Kwan Woo and Doyeon, in particular, evolve as human beings and legal officers to become better people.

There are several funny moments throughout the show, and tear-jerking ones too. The ending is satisfying and full of hope for the future for all the characters. Very importantly, NO MOMENTS OF NOBLE IDIOCY.

The only flaw is the show sometimes spent too much time in court, with our characters going through their legal arguments, which we are already familiar with, and that sometimes made me turn off for a bit.

Nice one! Loved the cast - no let-downs at all. I don't have a favorite member of the cast, they all did a great job.Story lines inter-weaved and tied nicely together at the end. I tend to focus on character development (which I think is an integral part of any drama) and this is another prime example of a great Japanese drama (and another reason why I don't like the dramas in my own country...as they fall down substantially in this respect).

This is a drama for adults, so there are plenty of issues and discussions for adults to think about, but its a nice slice of life drama. Action well-paced and just kept me going until the end, no boring parts, no long and drawn out episodes (like in some k-dramas) and no over-doing sobbing or extending crying sessions.

I liked this one and would watch it again. Go try it!

You know that awkward moment when you watch a drama almost all the way through with only two episodes remaining, and then realize you done screwed right the frack up? Well, welcome to my world. Wild Romance was a wacky, adorable fun ride...until it turned into an overly melodramatic, randomly angsty hellscape.

The premise of our heroine being a tomboyish bodyguard to a pompous rich athlete had all the makings for romantic comedy gold...and it delivered. Eun Jae was a tough amusing bad-ass and her contentious bickering relationship dynamic with Park Moo Yul was fun and perfect. The antagonist subplot was interesting but well balanced within the overall story, the secondary characters were phenomenally unique and the drama was perfect..until the whole thing derailed somewhere around episode 9? 12? I don't know which, and frankly I'm not sure exactly what happened. I DO know that the minute our heroine realizes she's fallen for the lead, she turns into this sappy, overly emotional dork that feels so out of left field that it gave me whiplash. When heroines abandon their personalities upon realized love, my patience with a drama starts dropping fast.

The acting in this series was absolutely amazing, so I'm pretty sure the fault lies almost entirely with the script writers. When Wild Romance went from a fun romantic comedy to a downright Makjang-meets-irritating-heroine I was out. I only had two episodes left but I couldn't stomach any more, especially when considering how random Park Moo Yul's confession to Eun Jae felt, her subsequently turning into even MORE of a weirdo, all the while the secondary cast are running amok like an out-of-character flock of whackadoodles. After all that, I just had to bail.

IF this drama had toned down the angst they'd ramped up midway through the drama, and IF they had kept Eun Jae's character dynamic to a believable confident women who can kick ass and not be bothered with names, as opposed to the vomit-inducing punchline she so frequently later felt like, then I'd be singing this drama's praises. It didn't rely on cliches, all of its characters, including bit characters and its antagonists, were amazingly interesting, the premise was fabulous, and the acting rocked everything but the rafters. Too bad the peak and execution of the second half of the drama crash landed into a Volcano.

This drama is a poorly done version of the 'Indecent Proposal' concept. It started off interesting, but quickly turned into a...two-month long...victim-filled...train wreck. Since the plot is based on blurring the lines of a loving marriage, a delicate approach is needed so the viewers are not repulsed as the story progresses. And unfortunately, that did not happen. Instead, the quietly sadistic and destructive nature of Yoo Se Young becomes even more infuriating, when an abrupt shift in the plot takes place to focus on her as a victim. I had high hopes for this drama, but it ended up being one disappointment after another.

I don't want to comment on the acting because of how this drama was written and directed. I would like to see them all in better dramas that would showcase their acting skills more. The OST had some really great songs that are purchase worthy.

Is there a difference between the fiction of facts and the facts of fiction? The question poses an etiological conundrum philosophers have tried in vain to answer since the beginning of recorded time. Is anything real? Or, in other words, is everything an illusion?

Who cares is what I say. Just do it: Fall in love, slay your enemy, assess Miss Ripley.

Not bad is my initial reaction.

A drama appeals to its viewer in one of two ways: 1) It grants the viewer a portal into an alien world or 2) It acts as a mirror to the viewer's own world.

To me, Miss Ripley is a case of the former, and I thoroughly enjoyed the depiction of a con artist from a seedy underworld who manages to make fools of the upstanding and the respectable. A drama, however, cannot sustain itself on shock value/edgy content alone. As it often happens in life, the lies with which the con artist gets away with murder catch up to her, and it's here where the drama stretches the seams of plausibility past their resiliency threshold.

Or perhaps I'm being too cynical.

I'll close by paying my complements to the composer of the haunting piano piece the drama features when Kim Seung Woo's character uncover's the titular heroine's seedy past.

I have never felt so confident in a K-Drama's perfection as I have with It's Okay It's Love. From the very first episode to the very last, I watched with anticipation and angst to reach the end and see how everything unravels.

First off, the story progression was absolutely great. It was nicely paced without giving everything away too quickly. A lot of things could have gone wrong with its progression but the writers avoided all my concernsl. If they changed the focus of the plot to tackle some of the slightest story lines that they left untouched, it would have hurt the overall plot progression, but whomever wrote the script is a genius.

Secondly, the cast was great. With each drama I watch, I keep saying "oh God this cast is great," but end up somewhat feeling like I forced myself to say that. However, with this cast, I instantly saw the chemistry and knew that they were having fun with it. They weren't forcing themselves to play the role. Instead, it came naturally and that's the beauty of this cast. Also, the love between all the couples was refreshing. As a dude, I would normally cringe at this stuff, but the more K-Dramas I watch, the more I become inclined to smile at a good K-Drama couple when I see one and this drama was no exception. Love was all throughout the air, and I need to kindly ask to borrow some of it (and So Nyeo if that's alright).

Music wise, K-Dramas never tend to fully grip me with their soundtrack choices, but damn, this one made all the right choices. For the first ten episodes, the dramas usage of music was flawless. The songs put at each scene were cleverly chosen, and I applaud the PDs for that because some dramas choose pretty good songs, but either use them at the weirdest spots or over use them. As the show progressed, especially in the last four episodes, certain songs were being over used, but they were still being utilized well. The OST was ridiculously good and that goes for the BGM all throughout the show, too.

Lastly, for re-watch value, I give this one a 9, but honestly I never re-watch a drama, but this one is probably going to change that. I might re-watch this bad boy during Christmas time or something, but I never thought I would ever find myself saying "oh I'm going to re-watch this drama."

Overall, ridiculously good drama. Execution, writing, camaraderie, this show has it all. If you ever are contemplating whether to watch this, stop because It's Okay, That's Love is a worthy sixteen-hour long ride,

Im actually sad that the show has ended. I finished it in a week could've been less if i wasnt working. This was just full on comedy, the show shoulda been called haraboji. He was the center of everything and everyone. From ep 1 to 30, u wil probably hate the jungins and some others but from ep 30 on things start changing and people change. Just like other dramas, the mother in laws were the same, all mean and cruel but the love btwn hyunsoo and jungin was strong, they didn't waver. My favorite thing about the show is how secrets never stayed a secret.it always came out the next episode mostly coz of jungin and hansae.
my jung kyung ho.- I've loved him since cruel city. He was so cold i dont think he ever smiled whereas in this show he was always smiling and goofy. I cant believe he's the same guy. His acting and laughter at the beginning episodes was just slapstick. He was really hopelessly in love it was so cute. He loved with his heart and used his head for his work. He really adored her he got morning sickness.
Jungin- i couldnt stand her in big and some others coz of her childish acting but this role was perfect for her. She was the sunshine in the show, sassy mouth and strong attitude. She was determined and cute and an adorable couple. Cant believe she ended up marrying my bias lee byung hoon, he probably fell for her charm and shes young too
Mr jungil- in the beginning we love to hate him then we end up hating to love him. This man was just a mess all the way to the last episode. So annoying u want to get rid of him but he was just a leech . He was getting worse by the minute esp when he gets money or uses jungin through hansae or he finds out a secret.
Mrs jungin- what kind of mother was she, she was so frustrating to watch coz of her princess syndrome. Then she starts narrating a poem and u look around like wtf, three sentences and voice change. It was funny though
Haraboji- real great acting. How could such an old man steal the show with his authority. The latter episodes were so emotional i was balling and i felt the pain and happiness of the family as he was going through his ordeal. His best friend joonbae is always hilarious in all his shows.
Another extra that was worth mentioning was hyunsoos classmates. She was there for like three last episodes but she just made me laugh at how she tore up hansaes mom with English words. "Chogyo, I see i shee, anyway"
The ost in the beginning of the episodes was just as chaotic as the show
Btw jisu and sung joon started dating after the show and now they are married and with a kid
