For all the cuteness and wonderfully elaborate costumes and settings in PC, there is stupid and ugly. The story line is basically good, but there are many contrived elements that make absolutely no sense. The characters are inconsistent. One minute a character is smart, then the next minute they do something stupid. Also, the story is drawn out. They could have told the story in half of the number of episodes. The drawn out misunderstandings and angst gets old.

The romance and cuteness of Wallace and Tiffany is what keeps this from being a total flop. It bothers me that the writers cross the line of naivety to stupid with Qi Lin, who knows martial arts, about medical herbs and is clearly not stupid. Also, I think the writers make Wallace too cold-hearted at times. However, Wallace and Tiffany did great with what they were given. Most of the other actors are ok also.

The music is really good.

I will never rewatch this.

I don't necessarily recommend this drama, but it isn't horrible.

Story:

The story of both the families and their history slowly being revealed was the key likable element of this drama, the love story parts were meh with the usual crazy 2nd female lead and we have the 3rd even crazier female lead to make it even worse. The way the flashbacks are shown are done in poor way, we start at present with the fake wedding then go into flashback and in that flashback we keep going further into many flashbacks. The show was too long and the last 5 episodes were pure asian drama draggy elements where they put stuff to make the outcome of the main couple till the last part of the last episode. This could have been so much better but ended up being average despite the well made family history part.

Characters:

#The main male lead was an idiot who would tangle himself with a lot of women and end up hurting all of them.
#The main female lead was a rebel who wanted to act out bratty every chance she got due to her being treated inferior to her cousin by everyone except the Grandma.
#The other two females were of the same self centered type to play the nasty people just from different backgrounds
#The 2nd male lead was a pleasant surprise in a drama filled with messed up people he was the likable one along with 2 other support character couple.

Acting was largely good barring a few scenes

Music was good enough but not to my style

Watch this drama if you like complicated family histories which unfold in some unlikely ways.

Dont watch it if you are looking for a contract marriage/forced marriage style rom com as those parts are very very few and negligible compared to the crazy antics of the annoying 2nd 3rd female leads and the family drama. The drama starts with the fake marriage in first episode right away then flashback for 7 episodes which is about 10 hours worth, followed by even more flashbacks and some even repeated.

There is no rewatch value as once the family secrets are known this drama falls flat

This is definitely a must-watch series even for people who never watch kamen rider. I totally recommend this. This series is different from the other kamen rider series because the kamen rider had their own issue and also the involvement of family values makes me in tears. The actor was good except for Akiko and i totally fell in love with Masaki Suda here. If you watch until the end it really can make you cried even for a hard-boiled person like me who didnt cry easily. So far, this is the best kamen rider series and it had been in my favourite japanese drama list.

Unlike a lot of people going in to this drama, I didn't really approach it with prejudice about its content. I always figure that the actual story isn't the premise or the plot, but what the creators use it to say.
Did they ever deliver on that one.
This is hands down the best drama I've ever watched. It may or may not age into being one of the best things I ever see on screen, but there is a good chance of that happening; and there is no way I won't remember it as a profound influence on who I am and who I was when I first watched it.
That's what this drama is, you see: a zeitgeist. Solely by character study, it captures the frustration of the class divide, and both the actions and the attitudes that preserve it. These it explores from a wealth of perspectives, telling you who a character is by showing you how they think and act. This effortful characterization goes into almost every side character in the show, loveable and hateable alike (and there are good reasons both to love and to hate every one of them); but nowhere as powerfully as when the two leads are in focus.
In classic Movie Appreciation course fashion, it's quite possible to classify them as two philosophical perspectives - Oh Hye Won as the pragmatist and Lee Seon Jae the hedonist - but that's label-gloss, to talk about what they consider important. Large, complex, and tense as the world may be that this show lives in, the whole thing is quite neatly reducible to an extended conversation between these two, arguing about what they care about and how they're going about achieving it.
And providing the throughline, the reason they are having this conversation at all, is the music - grand, melancholic, seductive, consuming. The way the leads are involved in it involves us - you have never in your life listened quite as closely to anything as you have to Schubert's Fantasie as you will while watching Yoo Ah In play it, and Kim Hee Ae listen, transfixed, in the background. Once trapped into paying attention, not once will the soundtrack misstep and let you go. Everything your ears experience for the next fifteen hours, however you divide them up, will have immodest effect on you, and on what you're seeing in even the most innocent exchanges. The story, the acting, the camera, all of it sets you up to be involved, provoked, and entertained - but the music is what makes it matter, in your gut, when even the briefest of glances is stolen, the lightest touch committed. Its presence or absence lends the punch to every word spoken. And in scenes when it's being played by any of the characters - well, good luck trying to focus on anything else.
The pacing is neither slow nor fast. You have the time to savor things, and to appreciate the setting and the world. The external conflict isn't simplistic, for all that it plays second fiddle; it's given its due weight, both in screentime and in how much it matters. Nowhere do you feel redundancy set in; the writer manages to bring some freshness even to the tired chaebol rogues gallery, by not tiptoeing around the foot-level dirty work involved. A little fatigue could set in around the third quarter, but compared to most dramas this is minimal.
The color palette is warm, and the visuals are set up to be striking rather than rich or polished. Superb camerawork, for all that the music is the star of the show; it works organically with the scene and actors, and follows a poetry of its own that becomes more or less subtle depending on the moment.
Rewatching will be for three possible reasons: a)fully understanding the sometimes too-subtle plot, and following the threads that involve the less critical side characters; b) trying to form new perspectives on the show as a whole because we're all wannabe philospohers like that; or c) just enjoying the whole experience again, free to savor every moment of the acting, directing, and music at leisure. The last I do quite often.
tl;dr Like a Tolstoy novel, except I started piano lessons after this show because they make it sexy.

I liked it to a certain extent but I didn't love it. That might be b/c it too realistic which is honestly depressing and stressful. I did find a couple episodes in the middle a little boring and a quite a few of the regular "office" scenes were uninteresting to me but when they were outside the office or in the coffee break room, out to dinner/drinks or on trips - I enjoyed those scenes. Especially any scene involving Suk Yool^^ I'll probably forever think of this drama when I hear the word "Geu Rae" (translated "Yes" in Korean) & laugh to myself about it lol

Story: This drama centers around Sales people - (now I can't relate to them at all as I don't work in an office building or anything like that but while watching this drama I know that I never could or would even want to - way too stressful - I totally understand why they said they all walk around with a resignation paper in their pocket everyday - I would have quit on day 1!) I can't deal with that much stress in my life - Besides the fact that I personally would never be able to "sell" anything to anyone lol

Cast: Suk Yool - he was my favorite, he kept things lighthearted and interesting - he was a joy to have around, he's very entertaining^^ If not for him this drama wouldn't have been bearable to watch (for me anyways). Baek Ki - Handsome, ambitious, nice, cold, distant but yet somehow close. He's a really difficult character to figure out completely - I did like him especially more towards the end. Geu Rae - our "star" of the show, he's innocent and naïve and I could relate to him the most - as he was 26 & basically did nothing w/his life and well I am kind of in the same boat (I'm 26 now too)...Young Yi - I honestly found her a bit boring and hard to read - she was nice I'll give her that & I pitied her character a lot during the drama...but I didn't connect with her. Dong Shik - he's likeable like a good friend or mentor and a great co-worker. Gwan Woong - he comes later on in the drama but I liked it when he appeared, he's nice and considerate & also handsome^^ Oh Sang Shik - the boss of team 3 - he was basically the "father" of the team who really cared for his "kids" as he'd call them. Suk Yool's superior is a real jerk. Ass.Manager Kang - (a.k.a Baek Ki's superior) another handsome dude but I found him to be hard to understand.

Music: Fly by Lee Seung Yeol - I really liked this song.

Re-watch Value: 4.5 - I don't think I'll be re-watching this one as it was too realistic but if ever I end up in a situation with a job similar to theirs or need a little insight - I may pop back in to take a peak ;)

Surplus Princess. They were all surplus lol
So this drama was worth watching. Short but Heart touching,Hilarious and cheesy. Adorable and Unbelievable scenes with amazing characters :') A search of true love by a beautiful adorable mermaid. She is one of the reasons to watch this drama.Watching her will make you so happy.
She is just so cheerful and funny! OH and the guys <3
I loved how this show focused on both the guys. She falls in love with both and gets the guy who deserves her at the end.Now i don't want to spoil it for you guys hehe
So basically mostly everyone wants her to be with Chef shi Kyung because he's hot ,their kissing scenes were AMAZING and man she is obsessed with his apple butt XD and his amazing smile(ONE of the reasons why everyone wants her to end up with him)..i mean i started watching We got married to see his smile! For awhile i was rooting for them but then i started rooting for The other Oppa Ha myung. He's sexy strong, funny and so so so caring towards her.
Other than that the other characters are cute and funny especially Park Dae Bak LOL his name is Park Dae Bak XD him and Young <3 This show also focuses on friendship and family <3
How they all stick to each other even when they were struggling.Although the endind was hurried its still worth watching. 10 Episodes of happiness and laughter. I mean it's better than nothing right? ;)
For me,it was and i hope more good dramas are to come!

I started this drama because I really love the dramas based on youth and music! Once I started this, I couldn't stop because it was really really good!
I love the story-line a lot because it was unpredictable and what it showed was real struggles one has to go through to achieve something. It is perfect example of 'To achieve something, you have to lose something'. The way story went up and down really surprised me because I couldn't predict what will happen next!
Acting over all was good! I really loved Myungsoo's acting, his acting and character impressed me a lot and also I love the way he was paired up with Ye-Rim =3
I loved Lee Min-Ki's carefree and bold character and he is the one who forms the base for this drama also not to mention Sung Joon's impressive character and acting. Other boys were really good at their parts as well!!
Songs of this drama are really really good. The music Eye Candy makes is the real one I mean they really had to sing the songs for this drama. I loved Jaywalking, Love you Like you (L ft Ye-Rim) and WakeUp. They were soo perfect according the situations the characters wrote them.
I recommend everyone who love youth and music based dramas to give this drama a shot and trust me, you would LOVE it!!

I don't often write reviews, but this one called for it.

I was quite hesitant to start this because and at the same time, I wanted to. A cast that consists majorly of idols can make some people leery, thinking that the show is popular not for its story line, but because of its cast. Thankfully, that wasn't the case here.

First off, I'd like to say that the plot was good. It delivered exactly what it promised. Sure there were the Korean drama cliches in it as well, but this show was good. Due to the long duration of K-drama episodes, there are a few boring moments in between, but I experienced none of those while watching this.

This was my first drama featuring Kim Soo Hyun, who did a wonderful job with his role as Song Sam Dong. He made me laugh, he made me cry and he made me come back for more. I liked how balanced Ok Taek Yeon's character, Jin Guk was. IU and Suzy did wonderful jobs with their roles, but Eunjung kind of fell flat in some places. Park Jin Young was there to make us laugh, and paired with Uhm Ki Joon, these two made a hilarious pair.

The music was beautiful. If you don't find the drama that impressive, then the music will blow you away for sure.

Overall, the drama flows well and is a good watch if you're in the mood for something non-romantic and full of feels.

A drama about friendship which you would not want to miss. If you are a fan of lee jong suk or kim woo bin, you have to watch this. I would say they chose the right drama for their debut as leads. The drama revolves around high school life and the school system in korea. Also the deep meaning of friendship is being put across in this drama very well.

Incomplete Life is nothing special except it is special. There is no epic romance, no suspense, no action, no melodrama, but there is life. I normally hate dramas like this. Nothing is more boring than watching a drama about real life when I watch dramas to escape it. However, there was something uniquely captivating in watching these characters navigate life. I started this because I love Kang Sora, but I fell for these characters in a big way. This drama isn't about the story line as much as it is about the characters. They have great chemistry and development. We all look at life in different ways. What is success to one person may be nothing to another and there is society's view of success. My view of success is to be the best person that I can be with all my flaws included. It isn't about money, prestige, or power. It is about being happy in the life that I live with the people that I love. What is your view of success??? Are you living an incomplete life???

It isn't necessary for me to name all of the actors, because it is already done. Just know that they all were excellent. I felt connected to each of them in different ways.

The music is appropriate.

It is rewatchable, but I probably won't.

This drama isn't for every one. I can see why some people would get bored with it. However, I highly recommend it.

I find the main character to be too much of a Mary Sue, but I really enjoyed some of the secondary characters. It reminded me a bit of the Devil Wears Prada, only the main characters were totally different.

It was fun, but could've been much better. It opened some interesting plot ideas but didn't advanced into them.

This was a very entertaining drama to watch. Unlike other gender benders however, Tempest is a serious drama, taking place during the last days of the Ryukyu dynasty. ( Ryukyu is now modern day Okinawa.)

Though I did enjoy the drama, there are quite a few reasons that I felt I couldn't rate it higher than 7.5. The first being the ever recurring annoyance of Japanese dramas, which is the seemingly lower budget presentation. While the costumes and locations were beautiful, the rest of the production had a sort of 'cheap' feel, such as cheesy special effects and sometimes shoddy cinemetography. Also, when the Japanese actors had to speak English, you could barely understand them. Add to that the terrible overacting of the Western actors, especially the guy that played Admiral Nelson. He was especially awful!

I much preferred the second half of the drama as opposed to ths first. The first half had more unreal, fantasy elements, plus I feel the acting was more awkward. By the second half, the true history of Ryukyu took center stage with the magical elements making less of an appearance. The actors seemed more comfortable in thier roles and the story just felt more solid.

I would also like to add that I see this as a more mature drama. Meaning, geared more for adults. While there are no graphic scenes at all, there is one in particular during the first half that is extremely suggestive. In fact, it made me widen my eyes considering this was a historial J drama and not a movie.

Special mention about GACKT's role in this. His character is super creepy. Like, icky, skin crawling creepy. Which is pretty cool as he plays it so well.

I would recommend this drama to any adult viewer that enjoys Japanese history. It's interesting and has some wonderful moments.

I doubted this drama at first. It wasn't my usual brooding revenge or sad love story. I put it in hold twice even though both leads are some of my favorite actors. Boy am I glad I have it a shot and saw it to the end! It was so worth it. They made the story short and sweet with 16 episodes. They did everything right.

Furthermore, it has a lot of sexual overtones and may not be ideal for younger viewers, however it's all tied in perfectly with the lives of 30 something's sharing their lives. The romance that develops is perfect, sweet, pure and true. You watch and feel like you're falling in love. The comedic tones of the characters are just right and always when it needs to be, which was great for someone like me who hasn't seen a drama who could master that yet. The seriousness in this drama is toned down with the power of LOVE. I suggest everyone give this a serious try.

As for the OST, I was a skeptic as you can see from my comments below, but even if you prefer traditional Korean music in your dramas like myself, they did this so all that at the end you end up singing half of the songs.

Over all, this drama gets a 10 from me all around!

Rewatch value is low for me only because I don't want to ruin my emotions and see it again, but I'm sure others might!

IRIS drama is about a National Security System agent who attempts to take down a secret organization. After the introductory opening episodes, the missions are similar to what one would find in the American "24" series (excluding the "real time" element), with agents attempting to stop terrorist attacks with the use of satellites and information support technicians.

Of course, this is in the Korean style with some romance and melodrama blended in. Acting is top notch, with Byung-hun Lee in the lead role and a very good supporting cast: Tae-hee Kim (his love interest and fellow agent), Seung-woo Kim (a North Korean agent) and So-yeon Kim (as the gorgeous North Korean sniper). Production values are slick, the scoring is great at times, and the pacing is very fast for a K-drama with plenty of shootouts (a few of which are fantastic) and suspense. Storyline is cliched but the secret organization is intriguing and represents a brilliant little twist on the North/South Korean conflict. Consequently, the relationships between the characters change significantly in exciting ways and the viewer will have an emotional investment in the protagonists. Highly addictive stuff.

Production values are through the roof; various exotic locales, terrific cinematography, blazing gunfights and action scenes…they spared no expense here (for a TV series), and it definitely shows on screen.

Two marines who are friends get recruited by the NSS (National Security System). While there, they meet the primary love interest who is their sub section chief responsible for training them. The 2 friends quickly take to their new jobs as secret agents, and are soon deployed in the field. The NSS is primarily engaged with dealing with their North Korean counterparts, but, it soon becomes apparent there is a shadow organization at work behind the scenes known as Iris…the goal of Iris is too pretty much pit the 2 Koreas (and other nations) against each other, so they can profit and rise to world power.

After the botched mission by the 2 friends/leads, this show basically boils down to a matter of slowly uncovering what everybody's motives are, who's working for whom, who's ultimately good and who's ultimately evil, etc…Along the way, there's your main love interest storyline, the main friendship storyline, people being good and people being evil, characters reconciling with themselves and others over time in regards to what they believe is right and wrong, etc.

This show is very entertaining and highly addictive. I would also like to note that I've always loved the fact that there seems to be no clear delineation between "movie star" and "TV actor" in Korean productions. Main actors and actresses go back and forth between the 2 mediums seemingly at will, and that makes for some terrific performances when you might be inclined to expect less since "you're just watching a television show".

Highly watchable…whether it be for the typical melodrama & intrigue inherent to this Koren Television genre, or for the electrifying gun battles in the rush hour streets of downtown Seoul, or for the story & performances, or for just about anything and everywhere in between.

The main reason why I like Miss No Good so much is a sentimental one. It's the first drama I ever watched in high school and I recently rewatched - it made me fall back in love with Asian dramas and now I can't stop looking for more!

The last four episodes aren't my favourite. They seem to get a different tone compared to the rest, perhaps because they get more into the dramatic parts of the show. The finale seemed a bit rushed, but nonetheless, it was a great drama (very very funny!) and the behind the scenes were hilarious!
