THIS SHOW IS HONESTLY AT THE LEVEL OF MASTER'S SUN, YWCFTS, AND HEALER. It is one of the best so far for 2015.
At a first glance, this show may seem like a mess. When I began watching this show I had VERY low expectations because of the description -- rich chaebol with memory lapses and 7 different personalities falling in love with a docto......... it sounded like a recipe for disaster.
But, don't worry because the writing and production team turned KMHM into a masterpiece with the help of main actor Ji Sung. ALSO, the title Kill Me, Heal Me is beautifully illustrated in the show--I cried tears of happiness when I saw the meaning.
Not only is the show itself well-written, it is CONSISTENTLY GOOD. Where many other dramas slowly fall apart half-way through the series, this show managed to keep delivering quality episodes from start to finish. the actors also flesh out their characters and fill the show with meaningful symbolism.
ACTING: Ji Sung is, hands down, the BEST ACTOR I have ever seen in a Korean drama. (My opinion only--pls don't be offended) He makes me laugh with him and then immediately cry a few seconds later. If that isn't superb acting ability, I don't know what is. The screen romantic chemistry between the two leads are also OFF THE CHARTS. They are amazing together because this is the 2nd time they've acted together! :-) Anyhow, I have only praise for the acting in this drama.
MUSIC: 1/3 of the reason why I cry every episode is the music. The main OST, Auditory Hallucination, is a perfect mixture of rap and soft singing, and this contrast between soft and rough reminds me of the doctor's healing and the main character's tragic anger. After watching the first two episodes, I've been listening to this song every single day for the past 2 months. In fact, tears are rolling as I write this--I'm listening to it right now. The other songs are also perfectly timed, although they didn't leave as heavy of an impact on me.
PLOT:
Multiple-personality disorder is a sensitive and controversial issue that can easily be misrepresented or shown with a lack of seriousness. KMHM manages to avoid this problem despite its hilarity. The plot successfully transitions from comedy to tragedy in mere seconds, and this is the reason for its success: by having light comedy first, it then forces us to look at the sad situation of personality disorders without us looking away.
Many people, including me, dislike pure melodrama--and KMHM did a great job of softening the blow while maintaining its seriousness. I promise you there ARE hilarious situations every episode, but overall the show leaves you wondering about what the main character had to go through in his life. This show makes us feel pity for the characters without using cheap tricks.
An evidence of this show's success would be when fans of this show fundraised over $3000 in a week (american dollars) for a cause after watching the show.
REWATCH: YES YES YES. I personally watched this 2 times before writing a review. I plan on watching it again in a couple of months.
NOW, time for my CRITICISMS:
- One thing this show overdid was its flashbacks. This can get a bit annoying after 14 episodes, so make sure to skip ahead if you ever get tired of it. (skipping some flashbacks will help you have a good experience with this drama)
- The main female lead's high pitched screaming can be very loud and irritating---especially for people with sensitive ears. Be careful with the volume control, guys and girls. I personally got used to it, but I know some people who couldn't stand her voice.

The plot of the story was actually something I was very proud to see from JYP. Before watching, I honestly thought it was going to be a straight up hot mess of fan-service, which it was (very 'cute' fan-service, too) to an extent. There is still a very evident, unique plot and story behind all the cutesy GOT7 moments, and it's pretty friggin' good too, considering the shortness of each episode. Who would've known that a lot of cute-drama-action-comedy could be jumbled into only 12 minutes and still have the same strong emphasis as any other television drama and not be a mess?
I was very impressed with Jinyoung's acting skills in here, they left me literal chills, as did Jaebum! The other members did a satisfactory job too, considering they're new to the whole drama thing. But Jinyoung is just...wow. Also before watching, I feared for who and how the girl part would be portrayed. But Song Hayoon didn't fail me, everything about her character was (what's another word for cute?) endearing? What I mean about her character is pretty evident in the first scene with Min of Miss A-- which is another thing I loved about the casting: It was a spontaneous JYP party from beginning to end, (especially in the soundtrack omg)
I was a sucker for the beginning intro (opv) of the series, the song and dance were brutally intense and it just made me excited every episode and as soon as it cut off: BOOM! back to the cute, which was okay, because the way this drama developed was just pleasurable.
Overall, I can say that Dream Knight is a definite guilty pleasure of mine, and if you like GOT7 you should watch it, and if you don't you should still watch it because cute things and emotional rollercoasters in under 12 minutes are too good to not watch.

Everyone's said it, but Ji Sung is a serious pro. He didn't just explore his main character... he got into all seven of them (even the short-lived Mr. X). I bust out into involuntary laughter whenever Yo Na appears, get misty-eyed at Yo Sub, connect with Se Gi, giggle at Perry Park, and it just amazes me that you can SEE the difference in Ji Sung's face and body language with each personality. I'll say it again: PRO.
This is the second time I believe he and Hwang Jang Eum have paired up together. I'll admit I haven't seen their first drama together, but bet your bottom dollar it's next on my To Watch list. Ri Jin was fun, spunky, sassy, dramatic, and serious in just the right amounts that flowed with the story and how she interacted with the personalities. The chemistry between Ri Jin and Do Hyun was on fire, and I totally love that he was the one who fell first.
Although Ki Joon and Chae Yeon's stories were not the main point of the show, I'm kind of glad the first love/competing-for-CEO drama tropes weren't as prevalent over the half-way point. Those stories can drag a drama down.
The story was fun, energetic, dark, romantic, hilarious, and just had an all around engaging plot that left me on the edge of my seat wishing I could time travel to the next week for the following episode. I went back and rewatched those beautiful kiss scenes (though the last one in Episode 20 could have been lit a lot better). I want Behind the Scenes clips ASAP.
I definitely recommend this drama to someone who is ready to face some darker themes, company secrets, doctors for the most part obeying patient confidentiality, and anyone who wants to witness some STELLAR acting.

All the characters were a fortitude of awesomeness, Komikado Kensuke was amazing, annoying, intelligent and a complete dick-but you can't help loving him.
Hanyu Haruki (Okada Masaki) was delightful, quirky, and a unique character that you don't see often enough.
Legal High 2 has made me see the world in a new and fun light.
I've learnt that there is no such thing as winning or losing, or a win-win situation. We should accept the ugly and the beautiful, and always aspire to do our best, and never be defeated. :)
Can't wait to watch the first Legal High!!!!!

At first, all I knew about this drama was that it was a mystery detective type. I thought that it was like the usual Japanese detective drama that had different case in each episode. But this one was different, it is a series of cases intertwined. Also, I didn't even know the meaning of the title until the ending of the last episode. In short, I didn't have any expectation in this drama. Let me start with the with the very first hour long episode. Everything that the director wanted to make the viewers feel, think and see was there. The mystery and creepy psychological genre that the Japan drama/anime are good at were properly executed. There were foreshadowing which made you wonder and be curious. It was a brilliantly made. Just by watching the first episode you already know where the story is going. It was a really good introduction for us audiences. I was even surprised by the ending when they made the the "family suicide" beautiful.
Now let's tackle the plot line. As I have said before it was a long interconnected cases, a chain of family suicide cases. The drama was not particular in the critical way of detectives investigating the case. It was obvious that something was up but only few of the police department realized that something doesn't make sense. There were some clues that are obvious for detectives to be suspicious about. For example, the note of the child who are part of the "family suicide", it was obvious that all of the notes were written in illegibly. What I mean is that it was written in a way that the person is in a great tension. If someone wants to write a will before you die with a lovely note saying how you love life or your family, you would not write it with much tension. (This is just an opinion and observation) There were still other things I've observed but it would make this review very long.
My point is that the focus of this drama is not solving for criminal cases but to point out the psychological events that is happening in real life that society does not understand. The very core story of this drama was to show society how people are broken and how a family setting has to do with it. After all, our values are mostly decided, for most of us, on what occurs within our family. In which it was shown in the drama. Adding the detective, mystery and creepy techniques, it made the drama even more beautiful. The plot in general was properly and orderly well though. You can see how the events turned out and was going into a direction. The script writers surely know where they were going with the story. You can see how they slowly adjusted the suspect of the audience shifted from one person to another. They slowly revealed the real one from minimal foreshadowing until they explicitly revealed everything. I commend the script writers for the story.
Next to review are the actors. I was not convinced by the acting skills for most of the actors. Don't get it wrong. I'm not saying they were bad, I just was not convinced all throughout by the way they act. Although I think I know how the director/ producer or whoever choose these actors. They choose each of them because they looked and were naturally similar to their characters. To make you understand more I'll give you an example. Mamihara-san's character was a tough detective who is violent at times but very warm to kenji-san. The actor Endo Kenichi, without knowing him well in person you would already get that kind of vibes from him - a powerful tough guy who could be violent but is looks noble at the same time. It was similar to the other actors as well. To put it simply, the director choose these actors based on who is similar to the character not just the way they act but as who they are. It was not an accidental hiring of actors to whoever is good in crying or good is making psychological creepy expressions.
A mystery psychological drama without proper music will give you less thrill but this was not the case for kazukogari. The music production was great. 'nuff said about that. Anyone who watched this drama would realize it. I like their OST song especially when t was first played at the ending of the first episode. It really created the mood.
This drama has twists and turns and for you to fully analyze and understand it you'll surely enjoy watching it again. I can see myself in the future watching it and probably realizing new things that I didn't the first time I watched it. This drama always have underlying meaning and I want to fully grasp it. The only way is to watch it again. I think I would till enjoy it probably not as much thrill compared to the first but I have to say it is still re-watchable.
If you have persistently read this review of mine up until now. Congratulations! This is the first drama review I made. For some reason I was not lazy. I'll give you the heads up: NOT EVERYONE CAN FULLY UNDERSTAND PR COMPLETELY ENJOY THIS DRAMA. Those who are veteran in watching series and who loves psychological mystery dramas would surely enjoy this. I don't want you to expect much in this drama, you might get disappointed. Just watch and enjoy the thrill ride. I hope you would also appreciate some underlying meaning in this drama that are shown subtly. I love how you can see that even though those emotionally scarred or in despair people were harming others, it was because each and everyone of them cannot stand loneliness. Their hearts was searching and seeking for something that they couldn't find. I don't want to give an example or else I might give spoilers. I hope you enjoy kazokugari. It is a pyschological thriller that you do not want to miss!!!!

There are a few problems I noticed while I rewatched, and a few of them were things I noticed when I watched it the first time.
I hadn't read Hana Kimi before (after I watched the show I went and read the manga... I recommend it), so I can't say that I was biased before hand. But I'll admit, the story was good if a bit slow at first. You can't help but feel bad for our honorary second lead Eun Gyeol, but Lee Hyun Woo managed to pull off that awkward bowl-cut-looking hair.
Speaking of bowl cuts... as beautiful as Sulli is, I didn't understand the casting. I honestly thought Eun Hye made a better boy in Coffee Prince. Sulli can act well, but maybe it was the hair... or the lips... or maybe the poor wardrobe stylist, but I didn't understand how those boys went for as long as they did without figuring out that Jae Hee was a girl. I can't bring myself to critique the god-given glory that is Choi Minho. Jezuz... that smile.
Overall, a light fluffy drama that's good for people just getting into K-dramas. I would also recommend the original manga and Japanese live-action as well.

The story is nothing extraordinary but it's touching. I've always been drawn to dream-chasing stories. For the housewives who realise after years that they can actually chase their dreams before it's too late; all my admiration and respect. Yes, it's never too late to chase your dreams.
The maternal affection that develops between Noriko and Min Ha is so touching. Yes people; there are more variations to relationships between men and woman!
No twists and no surprises. Touching and cool. Won't recommend it to drama newbies. If you're a Hongki fan or if you love dream-chasing themes or music-related work, then yes watch this. It's no waste of time.
I loved Hongki singing -as always-.

FIRST PART OF THE REVIEW (for readers who haven't seen the show) [SPOILER-FREE]This is a good drama. You'll have a nice story, with good acting and there is Lee Seung Gi. Expect nice chemistry, but really not the best, with the female lead
However, you should not expect anything that will change your life, revolution Dramaland or really mark your mind forever.
The only really interesting thing about this drama is Lee Seung Gi trying out a new kind of role. He is not a naive cutie or an arrogant rich boy, this time, he's a lone wolf who only speaks in dialect when he talks to his dead mother (if you're like me you'll find that totally endearing) who's intelligent, interesting and secretive...
...Until his secret is known. After that the drama turn melodramatic and everything else fades away to show how awful his trauma was and how everyone should team to right the wrongs. Even the female lead became mere moral support, nothing more.
SECOND PART OF THE REVIEW (for those who have seen the drama) [SPOILERS]
I think that something strange happened with this drama. Something about the story.
- I'm pretty sure that Park Tae Il was supposed to be gay at first. He made strange flirty comments, became immediately close to his partner, who saw him being hugged a kissed on the neck by another guy ! I'm sure that there were supposed to be another sub-plot about those two. It was not made like your usual bromance. But finally, it turned out that the guy who kissed him was his brother's lover ? Okay, then why did he kiss him, do we have an explanation ? Or is it they think that gay men just randomly kiss-attack every men they see ?
- Team Leader Seo and his ex-wife KSK. At first you show their grief about the loss of their child and the anger of the mother. I was expecting some anger directed at Dae Gu when she realize he's the (indirect) reason her child died. But...no. Nothing. No discussion between the two, no confrontation, he doesn't even seem to know what happened (or is there a crucial scene in the drama I missed ? If so, please tell me I'm interested.).
- The self-pity contest. ESS is first in line with her loss of her apartment, then it's Tae-il and his change of career (somehow conveniently explained by the death of his brother), the boss and the loss of his child, Ji Kook forever in the friendzone (be it with her of with him. I'm sorry I'm not over those two). And then ESS again with what happened to her poor mother. Then : Dae Gu win the prize with his ever-lasting misery : death of mother, suspicion of boss, stab wound, attack of friend (that was somehow about him) betrayal of guardian, birth secrets and death of another loved one....in short he won the prize. and the prize was...
- The Obliteration of All Plot Not Direcly Related to the Hero's Trauma.
...Including his love story with his partner. Yep, that happened. Instead she turned into a human pillow, who will follow him lifelessly like a sobbing shadow and hug him every time he needs comfort. (FYI : That's not a relationship. Did we have any news of her attacked and never repaid mother? For the record, a nice way to put the bitch in jail once they knew that she was the murderer would have been to convince the mother to press charge, regardless of the Assemblyman multiple bows. To decide that this was not okay to be beaten to a pulp and humiliated and to sue her ass to death ! But no...) The characters became nothing less but a pair of sad eyes to pity Dae Gu and admire him while he handles all the interrogations...because everybody knows that no one can handle a murderer investigation and interrogations like the victim's son himself. Right.
But, this would be harsh and unfair to say that this wasn't a good drama. I'm just disappointed, because it had great potential...

We have our boisterous happy-go-lucky girl Jung Won (KHJ) who, under no matter what kind of circumstance or situations arised she would always stay positive and do her best to overcome them with a smile :) If I could describe her in one word it would be "Tenacious" she works hard and loves what she does. She never gives up on people (I gave up on one of them over a hundred times) she just plows through with her beliefs and pushes forward to accomplish any goals set before her. She doesn't do it in order to "win", she does it out of love. She's very pure and has a great heart <3
Seung Jun has a hard life, he says "I'm sorry" a lot :'( He once said "Do you know the stench of money?" - he is worthy of love but it comes hard for him. He does his best to live uprightly & clean...but is that enough? I personally loved the way he would say things lol, he'd have a difficult time expressing his feelings but when he managed to say a few words, they were beautiful <3
Our antagonist was played very well by LYR, no matter how many times I'd get mad at her during the drama, I could never hate her. She's probably one of the most pitied characters on here.
There was only one character I couldn't stand on this drama and that was Dae Bum (the boarder) I wanted to smack him so many times it's hard to count. Besides not liking his character I couldn't stand the actor's looks who played him - he was so ugly to me, I wish they would have used a different actor to play his role then I might not dislike him as much as I do lol.
All the side characters were great & I never skipped anyone's scenes. The eldest sister got a tad big annoying but only a few times. The parents on both sides were great. The bonding you'd see form between both estranged children and the parents was very heartwarming (especially on Jung Won's end). "Is someone your child b/c you birthed them? or are they your child b/c you raised them?" <---this question was raised a lot during the course of this drama; It was both painful and beautiful at times to watch.
Oh, and I LOVED the uncle! played by (Park Yoo Hwan). He was daebak to me, his personality, the way he cared for people and his cuteness were just adorable^^ This family tree is quite funny :P I also loved the author that appeared during the last couple episodes - he was hilarious ^^
Music - Loved it <3 'My Heart for You' by Girls Day, 'Fireflies' by Mi, 'After the Love' by Ha Dong Qn <3 my 3 favorite OST's - they also played Nat King Cole's 'Fall In Love With Me' song a couple times :)
I'll definitely re-watch this again sometime in the future (after my annoyance of Dae Bum goes away) lol
On a side note, *I had recently watched Comrades and the cutie pie from that drama just happens to appear in this drama...only as a total loser/jerk (I'm glad I watched him in Comrades first b/f I saw him on here - it would have ruined him as an actor to me - luckily I saw him in a good role first)*

Watch if you feel like action and don’t have anything else in mind to watch. Do not watch after an awesome drama (eg. Healer); it will make it all worse.
THE STORY
Usually, taking a few days after the end of a drama before writing a review is a good thing. Gives me time to reflect on it and miss it too, so I can write more positive things about it. This time though, I can’t say it helps the drama at all. Spy had a forgettable storyline while I was watching, and now five days after I’m done, it has a forgotten storyline.
The premise of the drama was promising, but the script was quite lacking. The characters had no spike and no development, the romance was bland and half-way through the drama got completely overlooked, and the action/thriller was watered down by the characters’ behavior, which was ambiguous or didn’t quite make sense. Even when it did make sense, because everyone (or actually, mostly the “good” ones) had no character and seemed so powerless and senseless against all their challenges, simply reacting to things and never actively taking control of a situation, it still felt like something was missing.
In short, Spy was a disappointment. On a positive note though, the drama is totally watchable, effortlessly, from beginning to end. But in a don’t-really-care-what-happens-just-watching-to-have-something-to-do type of way. It’s not bad, but it’s one of those dramas you spend the whole time thinking it could have been much more.
THE ACTING
And that is where the drama infuriates me. With such a good cast, I don’t know why they had to go and ruin it with poor writing. Spy girl aside (I don’t know Go Sung Hee), Jaejoong is not a bad actor, and Bae Jong Ok and Yoo Oh Sung are veterans I personally love. Go Sung Hee and Jaejoong had some kind of chemistry going on too. Ugh. Really.
THE MUSIC
No comment.
REWATCHABLE VALUE
Not a priority at all, but like I said, it is an effortless watch so maybe one of these days I’ll give it another go.

There was never a main plot or driving force. Mostly it seemed like the writers were just trying to find as many ways as possible for our leads to be miserable. Honestly, I've never seen so many psychotic antagonists in my life. Like everyone was LEGIT crazy. And they just kept coming out of nowhere, showing up randomly.
Character development was also incredibly flawed when it came to side characters. Their relationships had little to no foundation and often went unexplained. Somehow in a matter of minutes sworn-enemies began acting like life-long friends and the audience was just forced to accept it.
This drama's only strong point was its OTP and having actors like Barbie and Zhou be able to convincingly sell the characters. Even though I went throughout this entire drama scratching my head wondering how much worse it could become, I couldn't stop watching this drama for the sole reason that I loved seeing these two actors on screen together. Their chemistry is fabulous and it's easy to see how they began dating after the drama.
While Mars was definitely entertaining at times, and definitely solid when it came to romance, the script was a HOT MESS, and for that reason I gave it a low rating.

Perfect writing; no holes or no loose ends. Everything is connected brilliantly. The amount of pain and laughter are balanced wonderfully. The characters are well-written and the actors have done a perfect job performing them. Chapeau to the writer, the director and the cast.
To actually fall in love with Choi Kang Hee was something I never imagined but after this drama there was no way I wouldn't. I hope she's OK after playing the role.
A realistic approach of traumas and pain. No forgiveness simply granted. People do commit crimes and make mistakes. Not everyone is redeemed just because the drama is ending. How one person's not confessed crime would haunt so many people. Family and its complications. All are tackled in the drama.
Now comes the most bewitching theme; love. Hey! Hey! I'm someone who vowed to stay single forever! This drama had made me want to date again! Insane! How true people are to their feelings. No noble idiocy, no unnecessary self-blame, no giving up, no escaping. I'm feeling this way I'll be true to my feelings and simply confess and take responsibility. If you can't recognise your own feelings I'll help you but I won't give up on you. The past grudges won't stand in the way of our love because you simply mean the world to me. '' I either see you or die. And since I can't die I'll just see you.'' No shame or pretense when it comes to physical love. I want you, I express it. '' Love for me is touching''. Honest and realistic but so moving. Memorable in every aspect!
Though at the beginning I was worried about the second female lead but she thankfully found the right track. Every character has its own tale and every one can relate to each tale.
The OSTs and the music are so distinctive and soooooooooo suitable.
I will definitely re-watch it if ever have the time.
