Enjoyed the drama, not enough that I'd re-watch it straight away though. It's definitely the best drama out of all the other flower boy dramas.

---------SPOILER---------

The plot is basically Park Shin Hye who plays a socially anxious girl who has a crush on her neighbour, however the neighbours cousin who comes to live with him for a while finds out about it and tries to help them two get together, he tries to make her get out of her shell and be more confident, however they fall for each other in the process..

The only reason I started watching this drama was because of Lee Min Jung, after watching her last drama Big - which I loved. The title for the drama is quite misleading, the 'lady' is no way cunning or a gold digger, the story basically talks about why they separated, its so sad.. but kind of predictable. Also the chemistry between the main leads is quite good and hilarious, especially when the male lead gets jealous - gave me a good laugh.

P.S. have you seen Seo Kang Joon's eyes?! <33 so beautiful..

Absolutely loved this drama <3 Mainly because it was the first Korean drama that I ever watched. I had just recently discovered Kpop and happen to stumble upon this cute drama on youtube. After watching the first episode I was intrigued so I carried on watching, however some parts of the story did drag on a bit towards ep 9/10 but it was a fun watch. The only thing I disliked about this drama was the ending, it was very confusing, I don't like these types of open endings.. but I guess the writer was torn as well in who to choose.. oh well. I would definitely recommend this drama to anyone looking for a light, fun, fantasy-ish type of drama, its a good watch for the whole family.

Warm and Cozy is a je-ne-sais-quoi type of drama. It has a simple plot that everyone has watched many times if they love romantic comedies. Yet, it is alluring and I found myself wanting to watch more despite there was no real plot. The last episodes are nice too, but there's a lot of parallels that drag the thing a little. I found the small world of Jeju and his funny and eccentric inhabitants, quite like the tvshow Gilmore Girls. It has a similar humor, and I found myself laughing a bit. The obstacles the various characters had to face were also not so big and everything was generally quite calm. It is a drama one should watch to keep their spirits up, because it is a light kind of watch. If you like simple romantic comedies with a push and pull relationship and with love triangles (and quadrangles), you will enjoy this.

Acting wise, I believe the couple Kang So Ra/Yoo Yeon Seok had great chemistry. Their first kiss left me a bit mmmh, but then they make up for it. I like when Korean actors are able to act kissing scenes well. After all, it is censorship that limitates the passion during a romantic kiss, but the actors do that as a job and I suppose they also know how to kiss. Back to the couple, they were cute and I felt they were comfortable around each other. The other actors were also okay. I didn't like how some delivered their lines, but I can't have it all...

In the music department, the OST got stuck in my head. They played the songs a lot, that is probably why. They were likeable, especially "Butterfly" and the one by Hyorin.

Overall, I would rewatch this if I am bored because it is not a tough drama. But I would not define this a masterpiece because the plot has been used and overused in kdrama land. Honestly, I expected more from Hong sisters but I don't dislike what they have created.

Oh Boy this was a joy to watch. I watched it thanks to the recommendations I got for it, and it did not disappoint to say the least. For me, it was a prefect watch after a long, stressful day, which is every day I work. The laughs I got from it made me feel great!

Before getting into this dorama, we need to set our expectations right so we acknowledge the genius applied here. As it says in the opening sequence, this is a Low Budget Action Adventure Story. This is the type of drama I can confidently say only Japan can make, and excel at it. I love the fact they don't even try to mask that it's a low budget. The story is generic and purposely predictable and cheesy. This isn't about the story or the action, it's all about the comedy. It is purposely stupid, and boldly blunt and fun. I just love how the heroes are so into their role when those around them just react in such pragmatic ways, totally killing the moment. It's just hilarious.

The drama itself is a parody of video games.. I'm not into video games myself but from the bit that I've seen my brother played, I got to appreciate some details here that I would've otherwise found weird. One example is when the heroes prepare for a fight, the way they stay on one side only and their movement felt exactly like what I see in video games the movements before the player actually starts fighting.

One of the most critical aspect in this drama is acting, and needless to say it was effortless. All did a magnificent job, including guessed stars. I don't know if there exist anyone better than Yamada Takayuki for the role he took. He has such a serious face perfect for dramatic scenes used in such a priceless way. All three sidekicks were spot on and did great. Not a moment was boring being around them. We also got some of the most surprising guest stars and their roles were nothing less than hilarious. I also have to add the sister, her character did spice up the story enough to wonder what the hell is going on with her.

I wouldn't say the drama is without flaws. For instance I found some some tropes just became too repetitive. It definitely isn't for everyone and it's sense of humour is pretty unique. It took me a couple of episodes to warm up to it and actually fall in love with it. Getting into it you have to get ready for the package of cheesiness, predictability, since it is done purposely, to fully appreciate the comedy.

Basically if you need a good laugh, appreciate Japan's unique sense of humour, and/or enjoy parodies, then this is a drama for you.

While this drama is truly sad, its storytelling is beautiful and remarkable. I don't think that I'd be able to erase it from my memory for a long time. Hands down to the brilliant acting by the main leads! Kim Rae Won's expressions of grief will be too hard to forget not to mention Soo Ae's blank stares each time her illness takes over.
Alongside, the supporting characters and backstories were sufficient and realistic enough to draw out the main plot. Although at first I found the pacing slow, I realized that it was intended to be as such to give more chance for the viewers to be attached so that when it is time to withdraw, there will be more tension, more tears and more tugging at the heart. :(
Towards the last few episode I began to worry of how the ending would go but it sure was ended well.
As for re-watching, as emotionally haunting as it, I'd recommend a few more months of rom-coms before doing so.

This was truly a heartwarming story. It was simple yet thouhtful. It told a story about true love and that it exist. It told us a story of two old lovers and how strong their love was while at the same time telling a new story of the start of another true love. Teaching the audience that love is everything you do while in love and love is what you make of it, and that it can't really be defined unless you've felt it and you will know when you feel it. The actors portrayed the story very nicely and realistic. The first 10 -11 eps was really good but towards the end it got kind of overly dramatic but still the ending was good and I'm glad I watched it and when I feel like I've fallen in love with someone I'll watch it again.

I am writing a review because I have read some negative reviews about this drama and I am compelled to set the record straight. The drama was cute from beginning to end.

The character development was excellent, the writing was witty and the romance was delightful. The two main actors did a great job. The male lead was able to show how a spoiled and potential jerk was endearing and charming at the same time.

The setting was beautiful and the music added in setting the mood. The simple story added to the charm by not going for cheap overly dramatic tricks. It didn't go for obvious drama cliches and the surprise element was funny and enjoyable.

The side and at times quirky characters added to the feel of Jeju island as an enchanting and magical place. A hidden jewel in the midst of modernity. The romance of the second couple was very enjoyable.

The misunderstandings (frustrating at times) were necessary to keep the tension alive. The ending was completely satisfying, cute but not sappy. Thank you Hong sisters for the many hours of pleasure and enjoyment.

Egao no Hosoku is a slice of life drama that bobs along merrily like a boat on a stream. The heroine (Takeuchi Yuko) Yumi starts out in an unpleasant but fairly safe berth as a temporary worker while the hero (Abe Hiroshi) Sakurai Reijiro is a successful but unfulfilled comic book writer/illustrator. Both think they might want more out of life but it isn't until they team up to produce Sakurai's latest comic offering that they start to figure out their futures.

Along the way, they interact with the staff and management of the small town hot springs inn where they are staying. Conflicts and misunderstandings occur to make the journey difficult but eventually, all the main characters come to decision points in their lives. The series doesn't have a conventual happy ending but it is truthful and hopeful. The humorous side characters (and potential romantic partners) help them steady their boat along the journey.

As a television series, the show is beautifully shot and is not just a 'travel drama." Its soundtrack is nothing special but perfectly suitable - after all, you wouldn't want something to interrupt your peaceful mood. All in all, Egao no Hosoku isn't a gripping or gritty drama but it is funny, uplifting and entertaining and I'm sure you'll go on to look for the main actors in their other dramas. Just enjoy it and drift along for the ride.

This drama started out great but then after episode 11. It became a very rocky road. I struggled with this drama so much that there were times that I wanted to skip to the end. I usually try to finish dramas that I start but for this one I could not. The main character was annoying at first but I soon started to enjoy the character despite her naivety but, she still couldn't save this drama for me. It just became a makjang or whichever is the Chinese equivalent to that.

The story actually nothing new. And the female lead character got my nerves. But the way writer wrapped the storyline with very 'real dialogues' and quotable lines make this drama special and I could understand why they got big win in KBS drama awards and some other international drama festivals dan BANFF media world class festival.

The actings and chemistry are awesome whether leads or supporting characters. I must say again, Eric is out of case since he delivered his part perfectly in this series whether it comes to cute, tough, jealous, quirky or crying baby scenes.

I like the styles they use in this series. Eric Mun is totally hottie and drool worthy in that 'without suits-CEO' styles. I love all the OSTs too and all of them match with the emotions for each drama scenes. And I love how the writer combined being funny and sad in a very unique ways. I think this is the korean drama that could be called as one of the best romcom.

This drama isn't a drama but a piece of art. Korea should produce a drama that shows us the real thing of how relationship goes. Greedy, jealously, manipulative which hurting the person we supposed to protect, respect and love. Beautiful drama that started fun and quirky but turned to be the most dysfunctional love story in korean drama history.

There was no lack, no dragging and no waste of dialogues. The actings are superb for four main leads. The kisses are juicy and and real. I would say, Eric is one of the best korean actor ever when it comes to deliver raw emotions. Even just by watching his blank expressions, we know that he was in so much pain and crying inside. Very awesome job! I like the second female lead more than the first female lead since I know she tried her best to keep their marriage till the end.

The background music, the cinematography, the actings all are excellent. This is another level of korean drama. Very artistic. I was like watching movie whole time seeing this.

Coffee Prince was okay, possibly even decent, but I didn't like it. For a drama that is lauded as being thoughtful, fresh, romantic and cheeky it came across as being disappointingly stale, languid and excessively long.

I'll give it to the writer of Coffee Prince for being able to deal with the topic of homsexuality in such a refreshing manner - especially when one considers how touchy Koreans are about the topic. Choi Han Gyul's struggle was believable and was dealt with much tact. The free and relaxed intimacy between the couples was commendable as well. However, there wasn't much going for the drama plot and execution wise.

The acting was hit or miss. It started off pretty decent, but even Gong Yoo's performance seemed lacklustre by the end of the whole parade. Yoon Eun Hye was clearly worse than she was in Goong, and asides from her crying scenes, she came across as incredibly concious of everything. I generally preferred watching the supporting cast as their performances were small doses of natural entertainment.

As with all shows about females who disguise themselves as males, one has to suspend an element of disbelief and just go with the flow when it comes to believing that Yoon Eun Hye could actually pass for a 24 year old male (she looked more like a pre-pubesecent elementary school boy if you ask me). So, I'm not going to criticise Coffee Prince for such a far-fetched premise; although, I would have much preferred for the big reveal to happen earlier rather than as late as it did, but more on that later.

My primary problem with the show was how the relationship and feelings between the leads developed and progressed. It was clear that Choi Han Gyul was totally, madly, selflessly in love with Go Eun Chan, but I never got the same vibe from Eun Chan herself. I understand that it is difficult to tell someone "Oh, hey, by the way I'm a girl" when they've thought you were a guy for several months, but Eun Chan's refusal to tell Han Gyul she was a girl went on for too long and her reasoning behind not telling him was selfish and self-serving. Her behaviour was unreasonably deceptive and she did nothing to ease Han Gyul's distress, everything she did was for herself and for no one else. It was difficult to believe that she actually loved Han Gyul when she continued to behave in a selfish manner after they were going steady. I get that she's poor and wants to prove her independence, but she never actually gave anything to the relationship and kept leaving Han Gyul hanging. The same thing goes for the other couple in this drama.

The second major flaw of the drama was how easily the men could be reduced to puddles of absolutely worthless misery. ALL of them were incapictated and emsaculated by the women who had them wrapped around their little fingers. Not one of them ever had a relatioship of mutual understanding with the woman that they loved. It was unbearable to watch such an unrealistic and exaggerated portrayal of male love.

Thirdly, the drama was meaninglessly long. I came to love for the fast-forward button on my remote control during the last 6 episodes. Needless exposition, supporting character story arcs that never developed and repetitive scenes where a change in scenery was the only difference all led up to an essentially fruitless finale. What was the point in having a two year time skip if the characters remained in exactly the same position as they had before? (Save for a few.)

I know that many people - especially women - will love this drama, and I can understand why it's considered a K-Drama classic because it has the makings of one (cliché + cliché + timeskip = classic), but I didn't like it as much as I liked other classics such as Goong. In my opinion, Coffee Prince is totally worth skipping. If you want a cross-dressing, reverse harem drama that is a whole lot of fun go you're better off watching Sungkyunkwan Scandal.

I met first with Sailor Moon anime when I was in high-school and I loved it. So when I saw the live-action version, first I was a little bit shocked, but I didn't find it so bad. The transformations and the animated cats were a little bit strange, but I found them okay.

The acting is quite good, and I love how they changed the storyline too a little bit. My absolute favourite here is Sailor Venus, aka Aino Minako, but I love Dark Mercury and the Shitennou too.
