Kim Hee Ae as Choi Young Jin was great as the team leader - she puts her whole heart and soul into her job and doesn't give up. Her family life outside of work is very sweet, her little daughter is adorable at both ages. and her sister was perfect in her role. And I loved how her friend/co-worker played by Kim Min Jung would pursue her ^^ Their scenes were always humorous :) Min Do Yeong (Lee Da Hee) was awesome in this role (I truly think she should continue to do more of these kinds of roles - it really suits her) she was stubborn and "gangster like" after she joins this team lol. Han Jin Woo (Son Ho Jun) was someone who was made into a real person b/c of Young Jin bringing him to the team - the scenes between him and Do Yeong were sweet and action filled and in the end they will leave you breathless ;) Lee Ki Kwang as the cutie of the team and his buddy Heo Jeong Do were a hilarious duo ^^ Son Byung Ho (as Chairman Kang) was definitely hateful - luckily I never got stirred up - I was actually amazed with how clever he could be in a dirty way - I hated the dude and wanted him to go down - he just never raised my blood pressure lol (and I have to say that would be due to the writer director and everyone else who put this together in such an amazing way) I could sit back and watch this thinking "daebak" all the time lol
Music - suited the drama, I don't remember hearing any particular song though - I only remember hearing instrumentals.
This is definitely a drama I will re-watch and I highly recommend it - If you're a fan of crime dramas, then this is one you won't want to miss! I absolutely loved this drama! I became a fan of a few of the actors through this drama ;)

This is a very touching tale of young romance that leads into adult obsession and eventually tragedy and thankfully, back to normality for the characters. I give this drama an overall 10, and it is posted as one of my favorites of all time.
It took me a while to watch this drama. It came out almost 4 years ago, and I could not begin to watch as I watched Queen of Ambition a while ago, and I will admit - IM does immitate QOA with story line on the first episode, but if you keep going - and watch it for its own story and not think too hard about it, it wont be anything to really compare to.
I normally am not at all upset about Drama Cliches, as I love KDramas and the "fresher" they are, sometimes means they arent as fresh - the cliches to me are what make the drama whimisical, sweet and its a way for the writers to "reset" a lot of the story lines and go a different direction. I give the story a 9.5 only because the cliche goes double in this drama and although I think the first part was needed, the second time around made it hard to follow. You will see what I mean when you get to the end of the drama. I dont want to spoil it! The ending was a bit confusing. I am not the type of fan to dig too deep into the meanings, as a lot of these dramas are made to be good fun that dont require much digging. However, on episode 20 I began to wonder what the writers were trying to do. Its ok, I can easily look over it and see its as one of my favorite dramas.
The acting was superb. I became a MCH fan after this drama and I will be looking into her other work. I was also impressed by the acting by the former Miss Korea. I thought she did a great job, and she is very different to look at than a lot of other Korean actresses, so I was intrigued and enjoyed watching her. I also became a fan of SJK. I started the drama and thought, how is this cute, easy going guy going to convince me that he can be any kind of a jerk? Rest assured, his acting is superb and is now one of my favorite actors.
As with most dramas that are not airing, I binged watched this one. Very glad I didnt watch it when it was on air, as it would be have been took much to have to wait weekly for a new episode! I highly recommend this drama and that you binge watch it. Keep an open mind, heart and be prepared for a wonderful story!

As for the acting, I really only stuck it out for Gong Hyo Jin, I just couldn't connect with Cha Seung Won. In fact I hated his character Do ko jin, he was really whingy and dorky. And it seemed like they had no chemistry, not to mention he is noticeably older than GHJ. I thought maybe he was portraying the character this way and then halfway through he would be more sophisticated or something but that never eventuated. I was left wishing Gu Ae Jung (GHJ) had run off with the second male lead Yoon Pil Ju (Yoon Kye Sang), it just seemed they had more chemistry and he genuinely cared about her (although he did seem a bit boring)
So yeah, watch this if you love the hong sisters and/or romantic comedies, just don't expect too much from the male lead.

Warm & Cozy offers nothing special, but if you are interested in Jeju island and cooking, you might find it worthwhile. If aimless, slow pacing , non-existent love chemistry and an uninspired story bother you, then you might want to skip this one.
The positives:
- Jeju looks beautiful and they've gone through a lot of trouble to make the film setting look warm & cozy.
- Mouthwatering food is being prepared and consumed in many scenes.
- One of the side character romance storylines is quite funny and interesting.
- The production value seems high, everything looks and sounds polished.
The negatives:
- The main characters lacked chemistry. At some points it was practically dead... (not good in a kdrama!)
- The story is very strange, jumping from one genre to the next and never really going anywhere.
- There are many dream sequences that just ruin the atmosphere.
- The female lead relies too much on weird, exaggerated facial expressions.
- Although there are romantic things going on all over the place, you never FEEL that something romantic is going on. Especially in the latter part of the drama things begin to feel too much like "fan service".
In the end a 6.5 rating might seem kind of brutal, but for me it comes down to whether I keep watching a drama from start to finish, craving the next episode, or if I end up dropping off midway. This drama I dropped 3 times. I wanted to finish it just to finish. I did not care about the characters or the ending. I think people who are new to kdramas might enjoy this one, because it is lukewarm, looks pretty and doesn't really challenge you in any way. For those of us who have seen +100 kdramas this might feel rather soulless, shallow and pointless.

Story:
I had high expectations from this drama since it's top rated but I wasn't that impressed by it,
The plot itself isn't that original- The man who has a job that it's the only thing that interests him, saves the girl and fall in love with her, reminded me City Hunter a bit...
The story as it goes by, is very good, everything is built in layers very well, especially the flashbacks of the past and the stories of the character's parents were really interesting and kept me wondering, also with knowing each piece of information as the episodes continue is very good, and I can say that it was made very well.
Some points I really liked and some things I thought were really predictable.
Characters/Cast/Acting;
I was a bit afraid of PMY at first because I remember her acting not that well in other dramas I saw with her but she proved that she can act, the other actors were good also and JCO was also very good (especially when he had to shoew emotions)
About the characters,
Healer and YS were nice, not that interesting but bareble to watch, I liked the master, the hyung and the ahjumma, hyung was the only character I could understand his motives and personallity, all of the characters were too much "black/white" they weren't that complicated and that's what bothered me ,they were only bad or good, Also there were also many characters that were insignificant like the detective, I felt that he was mented to be only becuase one scene in the last episode.
That Elder felt like a character that was invented to be a reason and not because he was necessary.
Moon Ho didn't have purpose in the story almost at all, I understand that he was like "a leader" or to connect Healer and YS to their past but other than that he was just "there" ,I couldn't understand him-why did he go againts his brother in the first place and what exactly his personality?
The only thing I liked about him was that he wasn't in love with YS ..
I liked Bong Soo, he was very funny and I enjoyed the scenes when he was there.
Music:
The good thing about the music is Ahjumma! I liked all of the songs she sang.
The main soundtrack (like the opening theme) was refreshing but for the fights scenes it wasn't always in the right place,
The other songs were drama-like and I don't think I will remember those.
Romance:
The thing I liked about the romance here was that even if they met an obstacle, they made it through and not like in other dramas "we can't be together because of-"
I liked some of their moments (some of them felt too much cheesy)...
I didn't understand why they felt in love actually, I can somehow understand why Healer-Bong Soo fell in love with her but she didn't have a reason and sometimes it felt a litlle too fast ,
Rewatch Value:
Probably not but the drama itself was indeed a good drama, I think that if it will be a "first drama" to someone he will really like it, but the reason I didn't give it a 10 was because everything there was predictable for me, I knew from the very start what's going to happen and how it will end,
Another reason was the characters and that's all, overall was a good drama.
I think that I was kind of disappointed because it is ranked so high, so I had high expectations .
I did enjoy it in some episodes; I wanted to know what will happen but I didn't enjoy it to the point that I would say that Healer is one of the best I've seen because it's not, and I know that most of you won't agree with me.

It is slow but stay with it. I found lots of gold nuggets in this drama!
The "pathetic" quote is my all time favorite line in Kdrama. I always hate how rich male lead would sweep in and "save the world" for the poor female lead. This is like a "reply" to that cliche. Kudos for the writer for coming with that line. Simply! wow wow wow!!
Most people dont like this show. So message me if you do!!

Quotes
“In order to trust, you must suspect first.” This guy is too cool.
“Being too kind is a disorder. But it's not completely useless.”
It's annoying how in the intro theme Woo Jin is wearing glasses and he only wears glasses in the entire 12 hour series for 2 minutes at the beginning of the first episode.
Woo Jin completely won me over. The actor, Lee Sang Yoon, I have the biggest crush! His education tone is so sexy. Haha.
He never smiles with his teeth during the entire show. Isn't that sad?
I like how they show that he is taking in everything. Plus, his eyes are pretty.
Fashion
The guys are obsessed with turtle necks.
Woo Jin wears Chuckies. I like that.
Da Jung wears some great heels.
Thoughts
Don't Kang Do Young and Ha Woo Jin get tired of staring at each other so meaningfully?
Do Young is annoying.
I wanted something more from Da Jung and Woo Jin. Not necessarily romantic, just a sign that they're friends or that he respects her, or she makes him happy.
That ending is confusing as hell. I'm disappointed that after all the mind games the ending just ends up being a mindless shoot out.
This drama has strong women, even though they aren't the heroines, I heartily approve. The reporter Ja Young and the PD. Normal career, competent women who can hold conversations with a hot guy.

The way everything comes together (the flow of the plot, setting, and whatnot) are similar to the books My Father's Glory and My Mother's Castle by playwright and author Marcel Pagnol. The narrative voice isn't really that of an adult looking back on his childhood, but it still gives off an idylic and nostalgic vibe. This may partly be due to certain contemporary pop-culture references (one of which is the song known as Sukiyaki in the US, or Ue o Muite Arukou, refrenced, admittedly a little too much , in the first few episodes). Watching each episode I came away with a feeling that the staff tried their best to make everything as accurate as possible in terms of what life was like at the time this takes place.
Casting was great. Sometimes it may seem like a family made up of actors may not really mesh well together, but that isn't the case here. The child actors seemed as if they could be real siblings to me. And the parents (as characters) were perhaps a little typical of Japanese families, but that only adds to the actors' performances. Everyone just makes this feel like a real family. The grandmother was played very well and I feel the actress added a lot of life and warmth to her character. These people made this family a completely belivable one to me.
The music overall was quite good. At times it felt like a mixture between Japanese and American musical stylings. The only thing was that it felt just a tad over orchestrated as Japanese music always seems to me (and I'm not entirely sure why). Overall though, the music really added to the atmosphere of the whole work which is always a plus, and I feel that is one thing Japanese composers as a whole are usually very good at. This drama does a good job of emitting emotions and empathy (as well as sympathy) for the characters. So if you like being able to imagine yourself as a part of a drama, I personally think that this a good choice. Because by the end, you may start to feel as though you were a part of the family whose lives you just witnessed. I did, and I was actually a little sad when the whole thing ended.

Yay! She's working late!
Ep 7 – she's suspicious as a prosecutor – not gullible, thinks about the possibilities. This is good.
Ep 8 – her colleagues are finally respecting her. Nice that she put in terms and conditions like a real lawyer would.
Personally, she's a wreck but she's quite efficient as a prosecutor.
She's also good at making people talk.
Damn, she's a hard worker and so keen for the case. But she's not clueless either.
No conniving second female lead? It gets better.
When he's having the nightmare, her gentle compassion really shines through.
I like what she says in Ep 4, “I really do know everything. It's just that I don't always think the same as everyone else. But I really do know everything that I should.”
There's also teamwork with the lady rivals - I like this.
Se Jun (secondary male lead)
He's a nice team leader - “Later on, when you feel like saying. And if you need help, tell me.”
What an absurd...oh these Kdramas always inventive ways of being adorable and awkward as hell. Such a weirdo, this guy. 3 years since he's been on the dating scene.
She just lifted him onto her back. No kidding. He's crazy. And he's not a skinny fellow like Gong Yoo either.
Father Relationship
I roughly know that the parents strong arm their daughter, but seeing moments like this seems nice even though he's just being a scallyway.
Romance
Hye Ri is a satisfying character. “You haven't even tasted my wrath. Don't you even think about moving.”
Her calm face when she's asking him what's wrong – dignity.
He's got a great selection of vests.
Nobody in their right mind would let that person drive them home after discovering all the treachery.
Oh yeah, end of ep 13. She's great. Says what she has to. Confidently. Knows him.
“I love you. You bastard.”
I never understand how a kiss can be so grossly misconstrued by male leads / producers / writers. A kiss shouldn't take the work out for you you lazy buggers.
“Without you in the office it was so cold and lonely.” That's what you want to hear.
In Woo
In Woo is being a real decent kind of guy. Helpful, serving, kind. This is cool.
“She keeps finding the truth I've mixed in with the lies. She keeps figuring out my sincerity.” That's such a nice way to put it, don't you think?
I love this conversation in Ep 14 about her saying use your lawyer language and him saying her occupation is showing.
“My mind, heart, and eyes are filled with all your expressions.” That's a real romantic line, isn't it.
He looks better with more hair.
There is a lot of sad faced In Woo.
He's so encouraging teaching her how to cook.
Jenny
I really wanted to hate Jenny. I hated her on screen but felt annoyed because there's no good reason to hate her. She's reasonable. She's helpful. She's a good friend. Ugh!
1 year later... you better have grown more hair In Woo.
Hye Ri doesn't have a change of hairstyle. That's a first.
Her optimism is strong and she can smile at hurt.
Nope, he doesn't have more hair and he's insanely obsessed with those disgusting V-necks.
She's carrying In Woo, now? This girl is strong. I can't believe he even attempted a piggyback ride from her. So bizarre.
That's hilarious she can remember what he said a year ago and he can't believe it.

The story is simple: a creepy killer, Toremi, mocks the police and kills people in a creepy way (with mortar). Detective Toko Kisaragi, a young and shy girl, becomes Toremi's negotiator but why? What does her deceased father, once a detective too, have in common with this case and Toremi?
The actors do a great job with all the characters and the OST is awesome too!

The story was those 'cool rich guy meets ordinary girl' -stuffs but writers put it out interestingly and I really enjoyed every episode and I was always looking forward what happens next. I think this was the first romance drama I have watched with only a tiny bit of melodrama so that's why I propably liked it so much. It didn't have those "ex-girlfriend suddenly arrives to the picture" or "male lead's evil mom harrassing half of drama's duration" -things. And I liked how the flow was very smooth. Usually in short dramas you'll see a slow start and ending is very rushed but this didn't feel like that. Of course, after some scenes I thought the two last episodes were a bit rushed but all in all, this was very well written. What's interesting that instead female lead being poor and doing part-time jobs, she's educated vet who actually owns her very own practice. By the way her cat was really cute >///<
Male lead was totally handsome and cool but I just loved how his personality was so silly when it came to how to express his feelings and when he was jealous. It was total contradiction. The actor Sung Hoon was a spot on choice for this role. He has really expressive face so I enjoyed looking his expressions and I was laughing at times because he was doing some silly things with that handsome face of his lol. It was just funny that when he tried to play cool he ended up being cute instead and I was often going "awww" during scenes.
Female lead Jaekyung was also a good choice for main role. I don't know if it's just me but at times she went overboard with acting but else I think she's a very good actress and can express emotions well. I thought with male lead they make a very good couple. You'll often see in these kind of dramas more "ordinary face" as main so I was happy they picked Jaekyung. Don't get me wrong, with ordinary I mean someone more cute type whereas Jaekyung is more glamorous type. Jaekyung's type often gets roles like the evil ex-girlfriend...
So if you're looking for some great romance drama but don't want to start those with very long episodes, check this out. You'll definetly want to rewatch this later also.
Oh, and music was also very warm and cozy and fitted the drama's atmosphere.

Story: Nothing new here, rich guy comes across a poor girl who's not smitten by money. He gets curious about her and falls in love. The girl follows suit. There is some parental opposition, obsessed lover-wannabe, etc. but they don't play make much difference to the storyline.
Acting/Cast: It centers around just two characters played by Sung Hoon and and Kim Jae Kyung. I liked Jae Kyung in God's Quiz 4, but this was my first time watching Sung Hoon. Though I won't say they did an exceptional job, but they kinda complemented each other on screen very well. His brother and secretary and her friends play minor roles in the story, though I didn't pay much attention to them.
Music: Nothing original but considering 15-min episodes, they suffice.
Rewatch: Yes, yes and yes! Mainly coz it's so short, but also coz of the feel-good factor.
Concluding Thoughts: Nothing new about the story, nothing new about the execution, nothing spectacularly great about the acting and yet - it's pretty much awesome considering the time invested.

Nine: Nove Vezes Viajante do Tempo

I admit, I was confused when episode 1 started, but it was a delicious, intrigued confused. By episode 2, no one is confused, just on the edge of your seat. By episode 14, there were some outcomes you'd expect in the story, but it was not all predictable. As I said, this drama never dragged ... and I was expecting it to since most 20 episode dramas have a tendency to drag the last 4 episodes. "Nine: Nine Times Time Travel" was a marvel from beginning to end, and at the end, the beginning was even more of a marvel. This was a perfect fit. Watch it and you'll see what I mean... but I warn - no skipping the drama to the end. It's more poignant and magical to see it as a whole.
The actors... were superb in their casting. Especially Lee Jin Wook - he carried this drama (not alone, but) the best. His acting was top notch and of course, he is handsome and gets even more so as the drama progresses. I think it's his character adding to his hotness. I love his suit scenes (which is every scene).
Joo Yoon He was also great and very pretty. Their characters made a really fitting and cute couple. I could see them living together forever lol. Her character did get annoying somewhere in the middle of the drama, but that really wasn't her fault. This actress did a great job.
The brother, the best friend, the villain, the dad.... every single cast member did a remarkable job. And of course, the production team. The best friend was so funny, he livened up even the serious moments. He was the best in this show imo.
Can't praise the workings of this drama highly enough. Go watch it.
