At first, I was excited about this drama because of Wallace Huo, my fav and first crush actor since 100% seniorita. I never thought that this drama will hooked me that much! I was afraid at first, because this drama has something like eerie aura. I guess it's because this is a thriller, crime and little bit but enough romance drama. Lol. But once i started, i couldn't stop to watch it or even skip it! An unusual thing for me to do when i'm watching drama, because even my fav korean drama in 2015 had been skiped for a few times by me. This drama is really that exciting and cool and sweet and amazing and i hope people will consider this to be on their list "most wanted drama what to watch"!!! And i really am feel sad why LMIYD's rating decreased?!?!?!?!?! :( This deserves 9.0 *-* Oh and i'm really curios about the ending. What's the meaning of the last scene???!?!?! After all, this drama is worth to watch! Specially when you love something close to detective's things.

The third and last season is almost a whole new thing. The only plot continuing from season 2 is Koi and Dao's story and there's only a few familiar characters on top of that. Basically you don't need to watch the previous seasons to watch this one, which is both a pro and a con. We saw Jane in the preview so I had some kind of expectations of Jane throwing the old characters' relationships upside down. Instead, we got a new cast and new stories... nothing familiar to hold onto. These new things had to make us all fall in love again, and I have to say they did it, but not as well as the previous seasons.

These three seasons have gone through every hardship a person could possibly have within a small amount of people who all are somehow connected. At some point I started to feel that this is way too unrealistic which affected my way of watching this series. It feels funny. Despite that, I appreciate that a drama would view these hardships to show what people may go through and how you can survive. You can relate to some stories, some affect your feelings and you will always want to support the characters. That's a trait that will make you watch it till the end.

Hormones 3 is way better in advertising than the previous ones. The products were nicely portrayed and it wasn't made annoyingly obvious. This was a nice improvement.

The cast didn't have the best acting skills. It makes you feel weird when the actor/actress just can't get it straight. Somehow I still like the cast, even though I miss the old one.

Again, they left quite much open in the end, but the little surprise left a good feeling about the ending. All in all, Hormones 3 didn't meet the high expectations I had after two brilliant seasons, but it was nice addition to the drama series. I will probably rewatch only seasons 1 and 2.

Story: This is a very straightforward and simple story of how an obese woman eventually lost weight but gained the love of a chaebol guy. The saving grace of this drama is not the storyline (which was nothing special or new) but the quirky and witty conversations and interactions between the characters. This drama has ups and downs - tears and laughter - all rolled in one. My only beef with it is how towards the end, the drama dragged a little with many re-plays and 'fillers' in order to make it into 16 episodes. It ended with a scene between the two children (representing the two leads) and how they had actually met in childhood - using a retrospective scene as ending - a method popularized by Secret Garden, but when used here in this drama, was unnecessary. Honestly speaking, episode 15 was a total waste of $ and time with many re-played scenes and not much progression in the story. If it's not for the draggy parts towards the end, I would have ranked this drama higher. I think a nice and concise 13 eps offering would have strengthened its ranking.

Acting/Cast: Generally great acting from everyone, including newbie idol-actor Henry. I do not know why but I'm not entirely sold on the main couple of this drama. Sure - I enjoyed the witty conversations and exchanges between the two of them - even their playfulness....but I'm not entirely convinced of them as a couple desperately attracted and in love with each other. The relationship felt more of best friends turned older brother-sister rather than the passionate and hot attraction of lovers. Maybe because they are an older couple, therefore the love felt more of a simmering sort rather than burning? Anyway, the chemistry between Shin Min A and So Ji Sub was not entirely the kind that made my heart go thump thump or sigh sigh...if you get what I mean.

Music: Quirky, silly and upbeat but not my cup of tea. Suitable for the drama though.

Re-watch value: Considering that there are many excellent KDramas in the romance and comedy genre out there, this drama has a pretty low re-watch value for me. Maybe because there were no scenes that I would like to re-watch or maybe due to the lack of burning chemistry between the main couple? It's an okay drama to pass the time with but not one that'll make me re-watch it again and again. It's a tick-I've-watched-it-and-it's-okay-but-now-let's-move-on-to-the-next-drama type of drama.

This drama is worth watching. It's not perfect but the main actors really work well together. The writing was decent but the writer did the only thing that absolutely should not have been done in this script.

This show reminded me of Marriage Not Dating because it talks more about dating relationships and less about hard-work, chaebols and responsibilities. Similar to MND, I like the casual vibe that the drama has. I really like the feel of it. It even has the same weird sound effects like knives sharpening when there's a confrontational moment.
I've never watched a mockumentary but I imagine this is what it's like. It's weird, but I like it for a change in pacing and to hear them air their feelings instead of having to stare longingly at each other.
The humour and the jabs at each other, I think, are much more Western. Also, each of the main characters has an older friend that they have no deference for which added to the more Western feel.
The drama is both wistful and edgy, a great combination. I like that it's not so fully padded with music like most dramas. Sometimes the cueing of the soundtrack in other dramas is annoying because it sort of forces the viewer to interpret a scene in a particular way.
Most of the big secrets in this drama stay secret for most of the episodes, and that's hella annoying.

Romance
This is second-chance romance done right. I like the maturity of it and how the characters got to explore what went wrong and view their growth as individuals and as a couple.
It's also got some really happy and cute moments that just made me feel really good. I like seeing people happy and in love.
There is heaps of kissing and skinship and fade-to-black bed moments.

Love Triangle
Yeo Reum's a pretty cool girl. I could see why the dudes liked her. I'd totally date her.
Yeo Reum and Ha Jin have a nice relationship. I like that. They are a couple I could really root for.
I think it's also a nice set-up to have a misunderstanding between Ha Jin and Tae Ha so that neither of them are the bad guy.

Ha Jin
“I don't quite understand...but I don't love with my head. I just...decided to trust her. Since I love her.”
This guy is so cool. First, his voice is to die for. And he says the kindest kindest things that are just too good for someone who's been lied to and possibly cheated on. He loves unconditionally even when he's been kicked and stabbed in the back.
He has some amazing, swoonworthy, marry-me-now, lines. I've come across plenty of Kdrama heroes that I've adored but I have literally never wanted to have someone in my life like I want Ha Jin.
I'm a little surprised that even though Yeo Reum is in the wrong, Ha Jin goes so easy on her. He actually goes easy on other people too. He is a painfully nice guy but he's definitely not a pushover either.
He also has such an epic smug face.

Yeo Reum
She's more of a modern girl. This I like. Even though she's more on the selfish side, it's always good to see someone who's more proactive in their life. I like that she takes charge. She is both cutesy and bug-eyed and a menace at the same time. It's great. I think these Kdramas are skewering my morals because I'll transfer my self-righteous feminism onto the next heroine even if she's really bad as long as she stands up for herself regardless if she's right or wrong.
Her independent nature shines through because she doesn't want to get married without being able to financially support herself.
Yeo Reum's confidence knows no bounds and she's steadfastly self-assured. While I've described some heroines in that way, she really takes the cake. Nothing shakes her.
I like that this drama has the feel of a rom-com but Yeo Reum is a competent and professional business woman right from the get-go.

Supporting characters
I loved Joon Ho and Sol. They're so great. The way they play advocate for Ha Jin and Yeo Reum and get involved in the powerplay of the relationship is so hilarious. They're on the sidelines giving advice, making judgment calls and giving their opinion.

Joon Ho
This guy is definitely one of the best secondary characters ever. I loved his personality. How he's a bit showy but all heart and how he works so hard to keep his friends happy. He always made me laugh with his dedication and the way he'd constantly get caught in the middle of his pals' domestics as he tries to protect everyone. His loyalty to Sol is great even though it's not always smart. He's a real oppa and he takes care of Yeo Reum too.

Sol
Sol is AWESOME. I've liked this actress since seeing her in Flower Boy Next Door. She's even better here and gets more screen time. Sol is my new favourite. She is probably the one person that can pull off the cutesy voice. Her relationship with Joon Ho is so much fun and they're just like brothers and sisters.
Sol is such a fun personality and so so so cute. But she doesn't just specialise in the laughs. I feel every emotion with her as she goes through heartbreak and everything.
She is also incredibly loyal and sweet. And I want her as my best friend.

Tae Ha
Tae Ha has a lot of regret. When he runs into Yeo Reum again he is totally hung up on her.
When Yeo Reum starts being nice to him again, his giddy delight is so cute.
Also, depressed Tae Ha is really funny.
The important thing about Tae Ha is that he doesn't baby her. Rather, he'd prefer to spend his energy in achieving things that she wants to do.

Elders
I was pleased to see different actors for the mothers in this drama instead of the same old ones every time. I like that instead of owning a restaurant like all Korean mother's do, Yeo Reum's mother works an office job.

Ah Rim
I feel bad, but she was a really annoying character.

Ending
The final episode is fine. But it kind of doesn't address everything that I hoped it would. It doesn't seem to serve the purpose of a finale that summarises what the drama was about. The drama touches on a lot of things about dating relationships and I felt like it tried out here and there but never committed to a solid theme like I was expecting and hoping for.

Damn MBC should release more of such mini dramas!!! I mean from a mini drama which only has two 1 hour long episodes, you shouldn't expect much from it right? But boy I was so wrong! This mini drama gave me so much emotions than I could have ever hoped for and I really felt as though I was watching a normal full length drama, which is definitely not something that can be easily accomplished, so credit to this drama :)

Story: Really really good. I have watched 2 korean dramas based on time-travel and I really like them (especially Queen In Hyun's man) so I guess I have a soft spot for such dramas but objectively speaking, SSL was executed perfectly in terms of story line so really, it's just darn good.

Acting: Having watched Let's eat, I acknowledged Yoon Doo joon's acting ability but in here, he really seemed like a king. KIm Seul Gi has always been known for her supporting roles in dramas (more notably, Flower Boy Next Door and Oh My Ghostess) and she was great in both dramas so this drama is a confirmation that she can handle the lead role as well. Looking forward to her future projects ^^

There's a reason why people (INCLUDING KOREANS) are demanding a second season of SSL and I am sure the reason will be unraveled once you watch this ~~

i didnt review this drama yet?OMG...maybe i'm drawn along with this drama it make me forget to give review for such a beautiful drama. prepare, its going to be long...
so...this is my opinion :

STORY : long...20 episodes is indeed very long journey for me, BUT...it worth my every minutes. it pack with a solid and worth watch storyline, every minute of it. flaw? i think i can't find a BIG flaws in it, and i'm in love with the comedy aspect in every scene (funnier than HEALER), even in a serious scene. a little bit comedy is important for me to keep me watching 20 episodes until FINISH. just like a general korean dramas, its a bit confusing at the beginning just watch it all the way until the end and you'll get the point. the story wasn't running in circle, not back and forth, but really really moving forward with a fast pace, so...i love it. this drama worth the rating.

CAST : good storyline but not so good interpretation (by the actors) is worthless...so, this great but complicated storyline was saved by Ji Sung. He really is an actor, he really is all his character in the drama (sorry, forget the name). even though there are 7 of Ji Sung, but all off them was different...yes they have the same face but the eyes in every one of them make me believe that they are different. The Eyes of Ji Sung. my favorite character is Yoo Na, so funny and girly with a muscular body and masculine face, and i love the romance (or should i call it bromance) between Yoo Na and Seo Joon. Hwang Jung Eum portraying of Oh Ri Jin can be irritating sometimes, and a little bit annoying but i think its an indication that her acting was believable, and she is really funny, i love her.

MUSIC : the intro was so familiar in my ears, i'm sure it was a song by STING but i dont know the name. when i google it, it is very similar to STING - SHAPE OF MY HEART. maybe a little bit copycat (sorry) but i think it what make the song give a great vibe to the drama. the intro maybe similar but the voice of the female singing part is the biggest poin in my ears, i'm drawn in it, i dont even know what she say, just like i dont understand Korean but how they incorporate the rap, the female voice and the intro was superb. so, the song itself was worth listening.

REWATCH : i will, Yoo Na part only because my favorite is when there's Yoo Na in it. its 20 episodes, its just impossible for me to watch it all over again when i have so many dramas and movies to watch, hahaha. but for those who have a lot of free time, this is one of the drama that worth for rewatch.

I can't believe it's already over! Now I don't have any more new episodes to be looking forward to each week! I absolutely loved Oh My Venus! While the plot may seem typical, the whole drama is handled in a way that we rarely see and it was great.

The story is fairly simple but was executed wonderfully. One of the things that made Oh My Venus stand out to me compared to other dramas was the lack of cliches. I loved how the show could still be dramatic and intense at times but it avoided nearly all of the typical K-drama cliches. Even when they used cliches they were handled differently and didn't go down the path that they usually do. It was so wonderful! The story was super cute and had a really good message about health and beauty.

The acting was superb. So Ji Sub and Shin Min Ah had wonderful chemistry and I loved their characters' personalities. I loved that there was no drama between the main couple. It was really nice to see a k-drama couple being straightforward and honest with each other. They worked through their problems together rather than creating more. It was a pleasure to watch a drama with such a healthy (both mentally and physically) romantic relationship in it. Drama between couples can get old really fast and this was really refreshing.

I loved the side characters as well! Henry and Sung Hoon were the perfect side characters and I loved the chemistry they had with So Ji Sub. They're probably my favorite drama trio! The other cast members played their parts very well too. For once I didn't absolutely despise the 2nd female and male leads. They made mistakes, yes. But it was nice that they didn't constantly try to interfere with the main couple's relationship. Instead we got to see them work through their own problems and I grew to kind of like them.

The music in Oh My Venus was super catchy and cute. I already have some of the songs in my iPod and they're so fun to listen to. I liked the use of upbeat and catchy songs. There were fewer dramatic songs and more fun and happy songs. All of the songs on the OST balance each other out and come together to make a wonderful soundtrack.

Overall I absolutely adored Oh My Venus. I was very pleased with the final episode as well (though I didn't think there needed to be as many flashbacks as there were). This is one of the best dramas I've watched in a while. The whole message of the show is just so positive and everything was so unproblematic. It was a really nice change of pace.

A girl going back in time to flee from her exams is meeting the king of Joseon and has now to help him getting rain back in his land - and slowely, by every second they are together, their feelings are growing.
But her place is in the future and his in the past...
Even though the story is already not the newest and the policians of the king are getting on every nerve this was possibly the best short drama without a love triangle I've ever seen.
Nope not possibly...

The Acting is great, the cast is just pretty, there was not a single moment I had to laugh because of the naivity behind someones lines. There were funny moments because of which I had to stop the drama because I couldn't see the subtitles clearly while laughing.
I never expected this drama to have such funny moments, after tons of serious historical drama episodes without any moment of laughing I did not expect those "jokes" and laughed even harder.
There weren't any unneeded details. It was just so pretty. No unneeded flashbacks, no fillers, just one simple story going on - faster and prettier than I would ever expect of an "historical" drama. It was simply beautiful.

Happy moments, funny moments, sad moments, romance... every moment was cherished and not destroyed by to loud music which didn't fit with the situation or unneeded dialog/monolog.
And when the music stepped in then it fits, and hows the hidden thoughts of the girl. What else would you wish for? fitting music which not only makes the athmosphere but also steps in for the hidden monolog inside of the protagonists head, which was in many other dramas said out loud and destroyed the moment.

I'm not praising this drama for nothing. Those 2 episodes, those 2 hours of pretty athmosphere and beautiful good acting are nothing less then 10 out of 10 points/stars. Even if it was short, yust think about this: how would it be with another 20 episodes only consisting of fillers and then destroying this beautiful ending? No thanks, then I shall rather have only 2 beautiful hours of 100% story.

I wanna rewatch it already. So, give it a try! It's not sooo long and even if you don't like historical storys or timetravelling this much - it's worth it.
Make an opinion yourself. I can only say, that I liked it really really much, everything (exept the politicians...)

Sure, the drama has some flaws, and some might say it's a typical drama, but because of the chemistry between the 2 main characters as well as how the writers dealt with the main message of the drama, I really enjoyed watching it! Episodes flew by without me noticing!

CAST:
You can not help but fall for Shin Min Ah's bubbly and attractive personality. She's so genuine that I don't think of her as an actress but as a human being. Then we So ji Sub who is naturally and effortlessly hot. The way he looks at Shin Min Ah's character, you can feel the love oozing out lol. In the end, GREAT CHEMISTRY which is one of the most important factors in a successful drama.

PLOT & MESSAGE:
I hate how in transformation dramas/movies the protagonist stops everything once they reach their goal. In Oh my Venus, the main actress kept exercising and eating healthy way after she reached her goal and I loved how they showed us that till the very end of the drama. It's a realistic reminder to keep a long healthy lifestyle instead of the yoyo method.

Other dramas also accentuate the actress's figure after the transformation and make it the main focus most of the time however in Oh my venus, I was surprised that they kept making her wear loose and sometimes unflattering clothing even after she lost weight but that reminded me that the important thing is not how you look but how healthy you are which is why she didn't only use the scale to check her progress but she also did blood tests.

In the end, I think the great elements of this drama outweighs all of the negatives making it a great and even rewatchable drama!

This drama was bindblowing, literally! I was 100% concentrated while I was watching it and it made me guess things all the time. I can guarantee this is must-watch for every crime drama fan!

So, Bo Jin Yan is criminal psychologist who solves difficult cases with help of his newly hired assistant, Jian Yao. At first like almost in every drama they concentrate on seperate cases. And like in most of crime dramas, there was something bigger in the background but I still say this is one of the most unique crime dramas ever.

Very professional, high-quality writing. Just as you have decided you have conclusion how a scene is going to end writers make a turn and will make you go like 'whaaaaaaat?!' I enjoyed the emotional rollercoaster of being surprised and not knowing what happens next. I'm sucker for good mystery/crime drama and this is the best I have watched for a long time! Ending episode threw me off the course and I was staring my computer screen mouth open :D

Leads had great chemistry and I enjoyed every awkward moment they had because of Jin Yan's serious character. I'm always drooling for handsome lone wolfs and it was adorable that IQ genius was struggling with romance.
Side roles were important and well written into plotline but I wish they would have had more depth into Zi Yu's character. He was the only side role I was excitedly waiting for to appear in every scene.

I liked how this drama didn't totally evolve to concentrate on romance element because most of dramas make that mistake. Instead they concentrated on Jin Yan's character and especially how he sees things inside his mind analysing criminal's mind.

Music was actually pretty good! I'm not a fan of chinese music, especially ballads but I fell in love with ending song~

So if you enjoy crime dramas with mysterious and exciting cases, adorable characters and little bit of romance, this is totally made for you!

Get your toothbrush out..... cause

THIS DRAMA IS SO SWEET! (~^-^~)

No joking. This is a perfect drama to make you laugh.
AND it will give you some good vibes about yourself and add some boost to your determinations
for... whatever (e.g. doing sports).

Personally, I wasn't interested in the plot with her boss/old friend/the-bitch-of-the-series at all,
so I just focused on the good stuff.

Love the crew around Young Ho, his two pals and his "butler" (lol).

And now I know - I totally need a "You bastard", too!

Ahhhh, this was so cute and entertaining... I feel content like after eating a sweet cupcake

This is the shortest drama I have ever seen, so I was curious to see how much they could pack into 2 episodes. The answer is a lot, and the results are pretty impressive. Based on the cheesy title (even cheesier than normal for a rom com), my expectations were pretty low. In my opinion the title doesn't do the show justice, but that's my biggest complaint, which is a huge compliment.

The story is kinda like a study guide in the style of "The Wizard of Oz". When testing pressures are too much for Dan Bi, she tries to run from them, and finds herself making a detour into the Joseon era. Her travel method is very cool, and immediately sets up the style of the show. From there the drama becomes an abbreviated sageuk, about a girl from the future and a royal from the past. This story has been done many times before, so It's up to the cast to make this version measure up, and the cast does a great job of that.

Kim Seul Gi has a spunky energy (similar to her role in "Oh my Ghostess"), which I love. I was impressed by her range of emotions, and I look forward to seeing more of her in the future. I'm not really familiar with Doo Joon (fangirls please don't kill me), but he was great too. Even in a drama this brief, they managed to deliver the chemistry romance fans love. Things may have seemed slightly rushed, but never too rushed to buy into it. I totally did.

I admit that much of the historical context went over my head. I was still able to still catch on to much of it, and it peaked my interest in learning the real history. I'll also admit to thinking that the historical versions of the characters were better looking than the modern ones.

Splash Splash LOVE is extremely cute, perhaps a little corny, and certainly predictable, but definitely entertaining.

Overall this drama seemed a little like and elaborate and well-devised plan to inspire young people to study. It is certainly aimed at a much younger audience, but I still enjoyed it. The writers were able to squeeze a great story into 2 episodes, so if you are looking for a drama to watch, but don't have the hours to commit (especially if that's because you know you should be studying), this is perfect.

Confession: I watched this because I missed the Nirvana in Fire cast too much. I was very reluctant to watch this because China produces piles and piles of dramas set in 1930s/1940s, and vast amount of them are terrible. I have faith in Shanying production team though. Not to mention it's a spy drama set in 1940s Shanghai, with a focus on a wealthy family who all seem to lead double lives, okay I'll roll with this. This drama is actually Japanese/puppet government vs KMT (the party in power in republic era, later fled to Taiwan) vs CPC (current ruling party of China), in case anyone isn't familiar with the power struggle at the time.

I must note that while there is a loveline in the story, I think it's horribly written, so if the family angle doesn't capture you, I don't recommend watching this for romance, because the romance nearly ruined the drama for me. Although it doesn't show up much (comes in around episode 8?), so I guess regardless, one shouldn't watch this for romance.

Hu Ge as Ming Tai is probably what draws most people to this drama. His character here is a spoilt 20 something who would have spent his days horsing around with his friends, picking up girls if he didn't meet Wang Tian Feng. He's immature, impulsive and thinks he knows the best, he does have some sort of character development but not by much. Don't get me wrong, he's very likable, his interaction with his sister, Ming Jing is adorable, and he does look very cool in various outfits; but he's fairly simple compared to other characters.

Jin Dong as Ming Lou is the other main character in this drama. It's him that I love despite this drama's many many faults. He's spectacularly layered as a double agent and he oozes charm. He is basically living in a web of lies and setting up more lies. To convince the audience that he's a double agent, he'd have to have microexpression or looks or something to show that he's not really working for the puppet government. On the other hand, these can't be too obvious or they would easily be caught by characters in the drama and he'd be expose. To begin with, his loyalty was already questionable, it's just he's one of the very few people who can do this and who are willing to.

Even though it wasn't meant to, his relationship with Wang Man Chun is the only romance that interested me in this drama. They were once an item, but Ming Jing broke them up (for reasons that you'll find out). It's almost the plot of Romeo and Juliet except they both changed and have adopted vastly different ideals. His relationship with Ming Cheng, Ah Cheng, is even more fun. I'm struggling to find words to describe it, it's almost mentor-like, since Min Lou is older and more experienced; it's also a schemer/executioner relationship on top of sibling affection and friendship. Regardless, it's a relationship with 100% trust in each other, and this is rather difficult to have in a spy drama.

Wang Kai as Ming Cheng, or Ah Cheng. To the outside world, he's an assistant, almost like a very competent butler. He's actually very much part of the family though. Like Ming Lou, he bears a lot of pressure working for the puppet government, but he wears even more masks because of his peculiar position in the Ming family. Liu Min Tao as Ming Jing, probably the most clueless one in the family, but she's a very capable lady who managed their family business since she was 17. She's graceful and fiercely protective of Ming Tai because he's the youngest and she felt more like a parent than a sister to him.

There are many many characters that I love, like the ruthless Wang Man Chun (played by the gorgeous Wang Ou, I need more drama with you in it please), the adorable Liang Zhong Chun who just want to live his life peacefully in times of turmoil even though his position really wouldn't have let him. The strict and almost cruel teacher, Wang Tian Feng, or the frail looking but actually fierce as hell Yu Man Li (Song Yi! you don't even have a profile on here ;A; <3), I should probably stop before I list all of the characters.

So, how's the story? I like the premise and I really do love the family angle. It's refreshing and their interactions are a lot of fun. The action scenes are pretty well done, even if sometimes, it seems things are done for the sake of looking cool. The schemes near the end seems confusing and might need rewatching, but I don't recommend looking too closely to it. Since all kinds of question and plot hole will pop up. I just accepted what the drama told me and called it a day.

Now I need to complain about my biggest gripes with this show, setting aside plot holes and unrealistic action scenes. Its goddamn stupid romance. I repeat, if there's ever a cut without the romance (if you can understand Mandarin, I recommend bilibili), watch that version instead because it's so so so much better.

I actually didn't have a lot of problems with the love interest to begin with, aside from its cliche situation and cliche lines, it's disappointing that we don't see anything new, but it make sense for the character (wealthy young man). I just can't deal with it when love interest nearly ruin an operation, putting everyone in danger because...because...I don't even know, some kind of upstanding morals? That's not the first nor the last time a character does stupid thing in a drama but it still infuriates me. Not sure if it infuriates me more because I ship some other ship that won't happen.

I never quite bought the love between the two characters and that's weird because I bought the friendship, the familial relationship and even bygone romance, but when it comes to the very visible ongoing romance, I never cared about. I have no idea is it the chemistry or is it the actress' acting ability (because I haven't seen her in anything else).

Side note, I must bring up the fact she was injured during the course of filming and therefore had to use a lot of doubles (5 different people I think?), close up shots while she was clearly in pain. I really respect that she tried her best to film despite being in severe pain and not wanting to delay filming or straight up change actress. But a lot of c-netizens are wondering maybe the drama would have been better if she was swapped out. She had fair amount of scenes but latter parts had to be re-written, her close up shots/acting were terrible and in the end the product was subpar.

Anyways, I've rambled long enough. My 8 honest goes to all the characters I loved in this drama, the amazing Jin Dong and spectacular team behind this drama, it sure has been a ride. Now I'm off to catch up 20 years of c-drama. WHY MUST YOU BE SO LONG c-drama.

This is my first review so if you have any constructive criticism or want to flail about dramas with me, feel free to message/comment.
