STORY - Pretty original. I didn't exactly know what to expect, I expected a lot of romance but this has everything. Romance, action, comedy, mystery. Perfect. There is not a lot of lag anywhere, but I am not 100% happy with the final episode. Maybe 90%? BUT DON'T LET THAT STOP YOU FROM WATCHING!!!! The effects are really good in the show as well and the cinematography is very nice - the lighting and camera angles enhance everything rather than being distracting.
ACTING - Amazing and the chemistry between everyone is great - romantic, family and friend relationships alike. I honestly have picked up a few new favorite actors - and reaffirmed why I already liked a few ;)
MUSIC - great as well; this is one of the few soundtracks I have downloaded. Also it's perfectly placed within the show, no random spots that are distracting. The sound effects are also subtle and enhancing as well.
REWATCH - I actually have already rewatched this show all the way through once. However, it is a show I can turn on an episode for background noise or just to occupy my attention and it's still as enjoyable as the first time.
OVERALL - 9! Honestly, this show was amazing and easily has become one of my favorites. The ending is just okay for me, enjoyable definitely, but I would have enjoyed the ending more if it had ended in the manner a certain male lead had wished for. ;)

Dramaworld is totally meta and makes fun of a lot of tropes. Tropes that you find in KDramas that is, ie, piggyback riding, karaoke scenes, getting drunk on soju, chaebol family, scheming female second lead - however the ending gave a twist, that you don't find typically in KDramas. If you've watched Dream High, you know what I mean^^The acting in this was atrocious at parts. Wooden. But it gave me a meta feel still, because there are wooden characters galore typically in KDramas, and I thought it was a faithful representation, lol. The story is ambitious and follows Claire as she enters "Dramaworld" and tries to fix it before it ceases to exist forever. She meets another facilitator, Seth, who seems like a good guy, and he appears to be helping her on the surface. But is he really? *At the risk of putting spoilers, I'm not saying anything more*
Towards the ending, the story broke the fourth wall, which requires a lot of explanation and set-up, but there was no time here. By fourth wall, I mean the characters in the drama (well Joon Park) became aware he was a character in a drama. Although good ending, one has to wonder - is Claire's life now a drama? The ending is so ambiguous and not explained properly, I don't even consider it a spoiler talking about it, because it's open to interpretation.
Also, I was cringing towards the end. SERIOUSLY cringing.
However for a web-series and a collaboration between America and Korea - I see this as a stepping stone onto something more awesome. Watch this if you love meta references and you will be swept up in nostalgia :D The reason why my re-watch score is so high (practically unheard of), is because it's short, sweet and I can see myself revisiting the bits I liked, or just watch the Seth bits^^ (Justin Chon and Liv Hewson did a good job)

Story
Very cliche story of a blind heiress and the person trying to con her falling in love with her in the end. But its not really the story that keeps you its the production of the whole thing. The scenery and camera angles that focus a lot on the characters faces, even the tone of colour used for the drama - not too bright and not dark either, very modern, keep you mesmerized. The production team did very well and this makes the cliche story pop. The stories of the side characters also help to flesh out this drama but there are times where you are left wanting as the viewer is left with so many unanswered questions.
The last couple of episodes seem like they were written by a completely different person and it was almost like they thought 'oh sh*t we have to round this up quickly' which made me struggle to finish the drama and the last episode unfortunately makes no sense.
Acting/Cast
The actors did very well, it felt authentic and made you feel for them (especially when Oh Soo breaks down I almost cried with him). The change in how the viewer feels about the characters as you go through the drama is also realistic. Oh Soo, i felt very sorry for and at times I wanted to shake Oh Young so she could understand where he was coming from. His struggle to keep up pretenses whilst fighting his growing feelings was sad to watch and on top of that at every turn he seemed to hear bad news after bad news. Another thing that Jo In Sung did for the female audience is the way he portrays Oh Soo who deeply cares about Oh Young and only has eyes for her.
The other character you begin to fall in love with at the end is Moon Cheol (i shan't say why lol)
Oh Young's character will definitely annoy you at some point with the whole 'woe is me' act but then you have to remember what she has gone through and had to put up with as she grew up secluded from everyone, so at times her character becomes childish in the way she demands for things or pushes the boundaries. Another character that will annoy you is Hee Sun, who in my opinion is kind of irrelevant, her emotions are unnecessary and she becomes an enemy of progress at points. The drama would have carried on just fine without her character really.
Music
There are some songs that really help in situations and the way the coordinator arranged the songs worked well for example not playing the chorus at one point knowing it would be emotional overkill.
Overall
I enjoyed the drama, I loved the scenery and how well it was filmed, like most dramas I've watched recently the rush at the end will annoy a newbie into the drama world lol and the constant rollercoaster of emotions might be too much for some to handle but it is an enjoyable watch. Definitely give it a try

However, after episode 9 or so, I watched this solely for Baek in Ho and his sister, Baek In Ha. I disliked Hong Seol, (and this is just my personal preference) but I cannot stand her being sweet, naive and innocent. The romance between Hong Seol and Yoo Jung had no chemistry, and I constantly felt like Yoo Jung was out of place, like he didn't belong in college because of his personality and the way he was portrayed. This might have been intentional because of his past and his original personality. He's a cold and strange character who only opens up to Hong Seol.
When the backstory of Yoo Jung was revealed, I was kind of disappointed. I had been expecting something great because of all the tension previous episodes had built up. It just made me dislike Yoo Jung and think of him as a guy with a lot of issues even more. The fact that Hong Seol never pushed him away and just proceeded to hug him after seeing him do something immoral really ticked me off. This couple didn't move me.
The acting was decent. Park Hae Jin pulled off his role perfectly, and I've never seen Kim Go Eun before, but even though I didn't like her character, she was played well. Seo Kang Joon captured my heart and Lee Sung Kyung portrayed Baek In Ha very well. At first, In Ha was annoying, but later on, I ended up liking her and In Ho more than Seol and Yoo Jung. In Ha was incredibly cute and childish and her character really added dynamic to the drama.
While there is a lot of controversy about the ending, I feel like it wasn't the worst thing that could have happened, and I was pretty satisfied with how everything turned out. I do have to say that it was a little rushed, as some more time could have been spent in showcasing Yoo Jung's father's role in Yoo Jung's life.
Music could have been better. I barely noticed anything except for the selection of piano pieces. The OSTs were so lowkey that it didn't really make an impact. If I heard an OST being played, I probably wouldn't be able to identify it as a CIIT OST because all the songs were just typically chill to me.
Decent drama overall, but Hong Seol and Yoo Jung just weren't my cup of tea.

Yamada Ryosuke is pretty fantastic in this series, too! The script is written really well, and Yamada plays with a fantastic, witty, ingenious personality! It was good to see Kawaguchi Haruna, Arioka Daiki, and Asari Yosuke, too! The script may have been my favorite part of this series because the writers and the actors seemed to show their own personal talents and most definitely worked well together! This may not be a good drama for first time watchers, mostly because this is the end (i think) of the Kindaichi detective/crime/mystery serial series so they may miss out on some background info... BUT!!! I watched the special "Kindaichi Shonen no Jikenbo Gokumon Juku Satsujin Jiken" and got through this series just fine!!
p.s.: i know theres another drama before the one specified above, but.... i didnt watch that one... sorry!
