This drama is basically about the sins of the father, and the sins of long ago, coming back to bite you in the behind. You sow the seeds of your own destruction, giving power to those you think powerless. But it also is about the sacrifices we make when we choose power over love, revenge over happiness.
This is also has the best butt-kicking grandmother character ever!
My only criticism is that they play the title song, "Gloria," way too much.

There were a lot of moments I laughed out loud. Kang Ji Hwan has a certain style of physical comedy. He's an expressive actor and isn't afraid to be 'out there', to look silly or foolish. He can also turn it around on a dime and be serious and kind of badass. I dig that about him. Kim Haneul is good....just plain good. She really pulls off the silliness of the comedic moments but she is believable during the dramatic moments too. But this is mostly a farcical story even with all the spy action going on. I will be seeking out other things she's acted in.
I'm giving this high marks purely for my own enjoyment and I recommend this if you're up for a fun, easy watch.

It wants to be a slice of life of four girlfriends trying to find their way after college but it gives you no real story trajectory and no one to really identify with or root for.
I see the conflict of four girls sort of drifting apart after college but I never got a clear picture of why they felt bonded in the first place or what there reasons would be to fight for their friendships. The writer gives you nothing tangable to hang onto. The angst seemed forced and unreal. The girls each had real problems but the way they were presented to me made their reactions to these problems seem petty and selfish.
The acting wasn\''t bad but the story was uninteresting. If I pause a movie to go wash the dishes...something is very wrong. I am not sure why I finished actually.

Like the synopsis say,s the movie is about a troupe of down on their luck actors who open a dating agency and utilize their skills to help people win the object of their affection. It's fun watching the tricks they come up with to hook the prospective mate for their clients. Things take a complicated turn when a man comes in hoping to acquire their services and the woman he fancies is the ex love of Byung Hoon (Uhm Tae Woong).
The story obviously plays on the theme of Cyrano De Bergerac and it's done quite well. But this is not a re-telling or even a moderization of the old classic.
The set design is wonderful. I wanted to hang out in the old theatre where the troupe has their head quarters. The dynamics of the troupe and their interactions were some of my favorite scenes. Although this is not strictly a comedy, there were times when I laughed out loud. I consider it a success when a movie can draw a spontanious loud laugh from me rather than simple amusement. Uhm Tae Woong does a great job here as well as Park Shin Hye (that was a surprise).
The main themes of this movie are love and trust and which is more important? There's also friendship and learning to let go.
The director did a good job of setting the mood of this film and telling the story in way that flowed at an even pace. It is a fairly light movie and I can see why it did so well at the box office.
If you're looking for a fun movie to watch that isn't too dark and yet not overly light and fluffy, this one is a great pick.

Acting was good as the two main leads have great chemistry. Nice OSTs - including the sweet and cute "Love Ice-cream" song. However, it was let down by the poor storyline towards the end. Storyline before the 10th episode was 9/10, story after the 10th episode was 4/10 and the last 3 episodes were 2/10 - very disappointing.
Two short sentences summarized this drama:
You'll get ripped off. You'll get lied to.
Watch with no expectations.

Bottom-line, though, if you don't know much of Super Junior, you may not enjoy it as much. Until a week ago, if I had seen this movie, I might have just given it a 6 (Good) and never watch it again. I, mostly, knew about "Sorry, Sorry" and "Bonamana"...when M&D came out a friend insisted I watch Super Junior Full House.
So, if you don't know much of SJ and want to really appreciate this film, my advice is to get the crash course by watching Super Junior Full House (there's also Explorers of the Human Body, but I haven't seen that one yet) and then watch Attack on the Pin-Up Boys. After all, it will be 81 minutes of your life, you might as well enjoy them (^_~)

1. Good story. Lack of acting skills.
2. Smexy guys. Cute at times but annoying lead chick.
3. Amazing sub-storyies. Annoying as hell, whinny-ass acting.
4. Non-interfearing parents (on both sides). Um did I say lack of acting skills alrdy?
5. Funny ass music w/ certain situations. I know I said something about lack of acting skills, right?
As u can see the biggest turn off for me was the lack of acting skills especially the lead actress (Yu Reen). I loved the Aaron Yan's acting in this. It kinda reminded me of Kim Hyun Joong in Playful Kiss at times. I thought that Cynthia Wang did an amazing job in her role. I personally thought she would have made a better lead except that she has a more mature look. I really did not like the guy who played opposite her, b/c he acted like a baby half the time.
Neways good story and the music at times was the best b/c it added an element of funny that u can't get anywhere else. I enjoyed it but prolly won't watch it againg b/c I don't think I could sit through the bad acting again. But it wasn't a total waste of time b/c it made me laugh.

This is so annoying, and so sad.
Like everyone before me already pointed out, the lead actors did a brilliant job here. They are so natural together, it's a pleasure to watch them interact.
But even cute has its limit, at least for me. I didn't know of the writer switch until the last episode, but the difference was evident. What used to be a quirky, funny, sweet and sexy script suddenly turned into a sugary, childish, cutie cute one, with these two chirping to each other for the duration of six, never-ending episodes.
When mutual love has been loudly declared, the lie has come into the open, the antagonists are out of the games, what is left in terms of expectations? Who cares what they eat and when or how many times they hold hands?
Somehow, they used all their good cards at the beginning of the game, only to drag it with uninteresting little scenes till the end. By the third ice-cream I was ready to smear it on the face of the director.
Also, I was left wondering what happened to the majority of the characters? Were they sucked into some drama black hole, or sent en masse to Paris where they are happily eating escargots?
The music was somehow schizophrenic. At the beginning I though it was horrid, with those very childish pop songs used at every turn. Then it improved a lot, it became more varied and able to enhance the feelings. At times it was hilariously chosen. Then it changed again and became a simple background sound, which I forgot a few minutes after it was played.
Re-watch value is obviously low, unless something heavy hits me on the head and I think this drama's only got 11 episodes.

One of the reasons why I readily fell in love with the series was because of JJH and YEH playing as Shin and Chae-kyeong. I really, really love their pairing.
Seriously, I've been loving it ever since it was aired in 2006 and until now, it's still the best Kdrama for me... ^^
