7.0/10 - Meh. This doesn't feel right in a lot of ways. Hmmmm.

So boom! Yi Kyeong sent a note and pregnancy test! First of all why doesn't she snap a picture!!?? Secondly how on earth could Teacher Park Noh Ah recognize Teacher Do's voice over the phone like that? Clearly he is becoming disillusioned about the world. Because he is there to pull Kang Ja out of there! I also like that he is on alert about Teacher Do not being a good person. Also, Kang Ja now knows so finally her daughter tells her everything? Gosh! See some trust in the person willing to put their life on the line for you. She could have been better prepared to help and probably save Yi Kyeong's life. Though I feel like the victim is the blamed party. A child is the one to blame instead of the adult. It's also interesting how fast Teacher Do is with letting his facade down. I mean. He just got in Ah Ran's face like that! Holy dramas! Which is the low point for me. That Kang Ja didn't back up her proof. I also want to know how far kind the Educational whatever extend so that they can get out of that? My first thought was not to send the proof through there!! I mean why would the suddenly take it seriously and not just cover it up all over again???????It's interesting seeing Kang Ja meet the chairman. The man is awful and I think he made that poor girl pee her skirt in front of everyone! 1 hr and 30 min to hear that lecture! I did like that after he made Ah Ran faint Kang Ja got revenge! Soccer ball hit! Spike! Thing! It's a bit chilling that Sang Tae's power got so reinforced that all those kids jumped out of the way when he was playing soccer to let him win. Not to mention that they all would rather help the bullying and horribleness by working against the other people willing to stand up. No violence isn't that answer, but wielding power like that isn't. Nor supporting it. Overall this felt off. Grandma finding out is a huge concern. Or Mother-in-law. I don't like that woman at all. Though I get it. I get that the writing needs to set it up so that Kang Ja has to take out the bigger power, the true corruption that is protecting a monster because it protects their corruption. It just felt like such a let down. Especially since Kang Ja has seen how hard it is to get proof or action taken. Everything has been covered up so I thought she'd be more careful. I also haven't really talked about Kang Ja's husband. Who has been roped into this mess, but is unaware. Not to mention that Teacher Do wanted it that way, and has basically setup a spy system around Ah Ran. There has been a bit for Kang Ja and husband interaction. It just feels a bit off. I remember everyone pushing for Kang Ja to have a love triangle with Teacher Park Noh Ah and Bok Dong. Um, she's married. I'm sure there will be one "in spirit", but I do hope the husband gets more developed into the story. I do see why she picked him and how they work. I just want to really see it.

8.0/10 - Kang Ja's past is back!

So Ae Yeon clearly wants to forget her past and ties to it. She also knows she owes Kang Ja, who was just so happy to be set on the straight and narrow and escape her old life. Ae Yeon has been trapped forever and doesn't know the happiness that Kang Ja has found. To be honest Ae Yeon is one of Angry Mom's most complex characters. You know why she betrayed Kang Ja, jealousy, and you see her regret. That one action tied her to a man that lead her down a road to a horrible life. I mean the Chairman calls her his puppy and beats her. She's just another one of his pets! I feel for her while despising her. I truly want her to take out the Chairman. Maybe even Director Do. Or if she came to her senses and teamed up with Kang Ja. Like I suspect Ae Yeon didn't know about the pedophile scandal, but she's still gonna have two ropes to grab! (Side note: I knew she should have wiped it for prints! The chairman is too thorough! It's hard to see why Ah Ran won't just tell her mother everything. I get it her mom can be over the top. Not telling her could make it worse. I mean just look at that fight that breaks out! Yes, it was hilarious and I love how the teacher is pushed out and hurt again. What is with Sang Tae's fake lenses!!!!! Ha-ha! That whole scene!Bok Dong feels guilty for what happened. He didn't want those girls to get hurt. It feels real and that means he truly feels like he did it. I just need the poor boy to have a friend! "You are just a cowardly pawn!" I know that's where he is right now! He can be more though! Another random thought why aren't any of these people practicing safe phones? They are all calling each other and leaving records. Lame. The real authorities should have more than enough proof.I love how Kang Ja deduces that Bok Dong couldn't have gotten Yi Kyeong pregnant because he was so shy about holding her hand. Finally--FINALLY--all the clues and what she has heard is pointing to Director Do. I feel like I should keep calling Director Do Teacher. Yeah, I'm gonna. So what does Kang Ja do? Drop by his place to seduce him. Which is hilarous and a bit of a failure. He thinks it's because she's bold about it, but I think a true scum like him knows she ain't broken or a true kid. Creeps have types. Another shocker! Yi Kyeong sent a pregnancy test!

8.0/10 - This drama is pretty brilliant I'm in!

It's clear at this point that Angry Mom is a drama worth continuing! I hope it can keep up this magic! The music montages are a bit much, but I get it with that song it's so dramatic and makes it's point. Which I don't think I've officially mentioned it in one of my episode reviews: Angry Mom's OST is totally awesome! (Maybe I did, because it really is awesome!) Ah Ran: "Are you really the mome that I know? "
Kang Ja: "It's definitely your mom. But, just as how I didn't know your school life, even when you were my daughter, you don't know about me." That's the true issue. Not talking and not knowing each other. I can't believe Ah Ran won't tell her mom everything. She's a smart girl and can see the safety in faking that she has a mental break and doesn't remember anything. However, she should be able to see a mother that loves her so much that she would pretend to be a student to protect her daughter. She wants her mother gone, but I don't fully believe it because she protects her mother from discovery from her father. Which would have been the fastest, and safest way, to end it all.I admit that I loved seeing Ah Ran and Kang Ja interact at school. Not to mention that I think this will bring them closer and they'll get to know each other for real. So I hate plots that use misunderstandings to move the plot along as the lead is taken in by the villains. I mean there were enough clues for her to get a clue to who the real villains might be. She's kind of a bit more aware of Director Do. So that's something. Sang Tae clearly likes Ah Ran and I believe that he hates what his father is doing to his secretary Ae Yeon. Clearly his mother escaped the man! Bok Dong is just a tool. He's trying to warn these girls! He's just blundering it really badly. Speaking of Ae Yeon I wonder if she knows about Director Do being the teacher involved and the depth of it. I don't think she knows 100% and I wonder if she'll ditch him after she knows. I doubt it. After all she has ties to Dong Chil. What I did not expect was for Director Do to lead Ah Ran to the secret door/room! What an idiot. Then for Kang Ja and Ae Yeon to come fact to face with each other! I have my confirmation who Ae Yeon is though!

9.0/10 - Phew, let's talk about all the intenisty. Only spoilers for last episode and this one.

Huh, my option to put a spoiler warning seems to not exist anymore so. As my headline says: Phew, let's talk about all the intensity. Only spoilers for last episode and this one. If you're trying to use this to get a feel for the drama. Don't! Stop. Bok Dong is still a boy and not yet a man nor murderer. The fear Kang Ja is giving out is real. She also suddenly starts to see Dong Chil a bit more. More of Kang Ja's past is revealed bit by bit. Soon I felt just as terrified for Bok Dong as she does. I get why she suddenly eases up a bit and tries to warn him. Though Bok Dong just sees another person trying to use him. He can't see the kindness or concern. That said the episode picks right where we left off and the whole picture before us is a doozy! So for some reason Dong Chil decides that bad girl Kang Ja is bad for his brother. So he needs to beat this girl! He may even have raped her before Beom, Dong Chil's brother and Kang Ja's boyfriend, shows up. Beom wants to protect Kang Ja in the tussles he's stabbed and dies. Kang Ja is then falsely framed (probably that friend who liked Beom and was jealous of Kang Ja, whom I believe is the poor Chairman's Secretary). So Dong Chil knows intimately that children only get 2 years in juvenile detention for murder.Intense. So Intense. So the true mystery is if Beom or Dong Chil is the father of Ah Ran. Either way Kang Ja is out to protect her daughter. Whomever the father is Dong Chil will have a connection. With his mindset he'll think that makes her his or something. Crazy horrible person thoughts.I do have a gripe though! Yi Kyeong is willing to FINALLY tell Kang Ja everything. Yet Kang Ja doesn't pursue that knowledge! Ugh! It's painful to see all the adults in Yi Kyeong life not take her seriously. Her mother just dismissing and ignoring her daughter. Teacher Park Noh Ah is too naive to even think that Yi Kyeong might have dark issues beyond that of silly "teenage" issues. He's bubbly poems insulting her. Her best friend is in danger and she's decided to finally be brave. Not to mention when she finds that secret room! The girl should have been live streaming or sending proof to places that are not in the corrupt educational system. Or at least she should have been safer. Her "suicide" off the roof is left kind of unsaid. We know Director Do was chasing her, and Bok Dong was supposed to be the one to help her die. The very least he is certainly taking the blame. Not to mention he got off light. Super light. There's no doubt in my mind. Director Do finished her. I know it. I'm just waiting for the video showing him shoving her. Also, why setup an anonymous tip line when they just dismiss something because it's reported anonymously!! WTF!So in a shocking turn of events Angry Mom has laid it all on the line! We know all the players and their connections. The important past highlights and how everyone is connected. I'm sure there's a few more big reveals and confirmations. After all that pregnancy twist was a shocker! Though a bigger shocker is that she was far enough a long that they should have been able to do a DNA test on the fetas. In the States it would have been done regardless of whether someone came forward or not. Reasonable doubt is a big thing. I wonder if this is a plot hole or if Korea would really just immediately not do anything and cremate the body. Because a teen pregnancy is rape, the judging from people reaction the blame is laid at the girls feet. Not at the party that also had a hand in making a baby.

8.0/10 - Okay! This is dark!!

Holy dramas! I just claimed that this drama wasn't too dark! Well this episode got all kind of crazy scary dark. I'm kind of surprised this doesn't have an age warning. This seems so much more scandalous than say My Mister. (I'm watching that right now too and the warning for 15 and over pops up.) This episode is really setting up EVERYTHING. Not to mention that Gong Joo gets Kang Ja into school with a $20,000 bribe! First of all go Gong Joo for making all her dreams come true and making it rain. I also love seeing how much she loves Kang Ja. These two are a powerful friendship! So back to that bribe! The Vice Principal took it and let her in. The whole school and apparently educational system is corrupt. Naive Teacher Park Noh Ah hasn't worked at other schools because he can't/won't see the corruption. Plus, he's a wuss and a boring. ^_- Now the Vice Principal has power over the school. BUT. Teacher Do has more power because he's chummy with Chairman Hong. There's a power play between them and who ever wins gets to decide Kang Ja's fate at the school. Teacher Do decides he's in on the laundering business. I also thinks he is aware that it might be a trap. Soon he is Director Do and has the power to expel Kang Ja. However, he still doesn't have enough power as he has to yield to the Chairman's son Sang Tae. So now for student power!! (Which is told through a bathroom peeing scene! WTF! Ha-ha!) So Sang Tae is the head everything. Not because he's the smartest and number one student. He's class president and wields his father's power at the school. Go Bok Dong is power and strength, but he's a lackey. Bok Dong has real ties to gangsters, but the true monster are actually the people the gangsters work for.Kang Ja finally realizes that Dong Chil is back in her life. He's got Bok Dong under his thumb. The fear Kang Ja is giving out is real. So in episode 2 it's hinted at that Kang Ja was maybe raped. Her rapist is Dong Chil. Now more of that tragedy is revealed. It's a duzy man. I won't talk about it here. I'll ramble about it on my next episode review. So ending thoughts. I think both Sang Tae and Bok Dong are the obvious villians. BUT THEY'RE ARE NOT. They're the red herring right now. I thought in the first episode that Sang Tae saw the girls being bullied and had Bok Dong come to help. Even though it looked like Bok Dong was making threats, he was trying to give out a warning to the girls. It's just really stupid. Also, I was shocked that Director/Teacher Do is a pedophile. I suppose part of it was that I didn't think the drama would go that far. Though I am happy it is allowed to do that. The scandal is super real now. Also, Bok Dong admitted that he doesn't hit girls so I have doubts he will be able to kill.

7.0/10 - Great character building!

I was really nervous that Harumi was trying to have Momota Tomona, AKA Momo, be his new full time cram teacher. Thankfully it's what I had hoped Harumi would do: find someone to cover math! I'm very proud she did that. So enter the new competition. In reality it's to prove Yuri's love to Harumi. That it isn't just because he has a thing for older women who happen to be teachers. He's not enamored from the studying . . . if that's a thing. Though this is one of those times when the "competition" does not look lovelier than the female lead. No really I am not being biased. Harumi is a knock out compared with Momo. Not to mention they look the same age so Yuri's friends are fools! Fools! It's also obvious that Momo is working it hard. Right away pretending she doesn't know who Yuri is. First of all I"m sure there was already gossip about the pink hair. Not to mention that when she was looking at his file his picture WAS RIGHT THERE! It soon became apparent that she had a checkered past with Harumi. One that has affected Momo her whole life. While Harumi had not been affected by Momo. It was revealed that Momo had a crush on Masashi. (I think Momo was still kind of stalking Masashi.) When Masashi turned down her and Momo was aware he liked his cousin! Bullying ensued. Apparently Harumi's ability to ignore reality is a super power and it didn't even bother her. She just wanted to study. So Momo is out to nab Yuri to "win". This could have easily bogged down the plot. Instead we get to see more of Harumi in her youth and some of Masashi. Harumi experiences for the first time jealousy. I think she handled it well. Though Momo claimed a age that didn't put that much of a gab between them, even her fake fancy school didn't seem like that big of a deal. Because they both have the same job! After time Momo reveals she was working at a low cram school and decided to become a Todia cram teacher. She taught herself. To be honest Harumi and her on equal footing, but it's who they handled it. Momo even realizes that Harumi is happy. Despite Harumi's claims that she's not. Yuri is tested by how he's not fooled by Momo. He clearly sees her. How she's using her students to worship her. He picked up on her weird arm grabbing and unprofessionalism. I do wish Harumi could realize that it's okay to be happy after failure. Clearly she still went to a college. I mean waht did she want to do by going to Todia? Hmmmm. Her cram teacher boss guy went to Todia? I just don't get it. I guess it's the fact that her whole life was dedicated to that goal and she missed out on living so she was just crushed. I mean the boss is just happy in his job. Not to mention that evil smile when he twisted the knife into Harumi's back about Yuri wanting to move on to just his new cram teacher! Ha-ha! He's having fun.Now to Miwa! Miwa and Tsutomu (I think that's Masashi's work friend's name) are meant for each other. They're both lying about who they are, but falling in love. So I think once they find out the truth it will be okay. I mean Miwa is already thinking that he isn't a real dancer. Not to mention Tsutomu has to think that kids' voice he heard is scary! So apparently Harumi was still in denial. Even saying things like "my baby bird flying away". Even I thought that was a mom thing to say. Miwa pointed out that now that Harumi is experiencing jealousy she might realize who true feelings! Miwa truly knows her BFF! Because we get that awesome ending! Is Harumi truly waking up!? Yes! On other side notes Masashi became kind of cool, but has no chance. Yamashita has become a very interesting male lead. If only he had a real chance. Because he really is cool. He called that his ex-wife always comes back. Not to mention he knows himself well. I was impressed how this whole episode paced itself and finished. Momo is exposed and her only hope is to help Yuri get is math grades up. Looking forward to how the next episode will go.

7.0/10 - "Come join us, angry mom!" *sparkle hands*

Kang Ja is a force to be reckoned with! That whole knife sharpening scene was the true intensity of a mother's anger. The club fight scene and Kang Ja's "origin story" was intense. I mean how could I not refer to it as an origin story. Kang Ja was a hero, legend and warrior. The best part is Kang Ja's old school friend! Gong Joo is so awesome!!! I really love her and Kang Ja together. I hope moving forward she's front and center. The cast page says main character so that's promising. I loved Kang Ja and Gong Joo's interactions. Not to mention that whole leap kick scene. "We didn't know when she was coming down!" Ha-ha! Not to mention that Kim Hee Sun needs to be the lead as an action star! Yes, please! That said I love how this drama is about serious issues and uses it's outrageous humor to lighten it. It's still intense. Seeing Kang Ja's daughter with her hair cut and that blade was intense. Not to mention being checked into the hospital. (Should she still have her phone in the hospital?) Kang Ja missing her daughters hurtful words instead of this quiet and dead person she's become. That's why this type of story balances well with the over the top humor. We feel the emotions, but don't succumb to it. I hope the writing can keep that up. Clearly Ji Soo's character Bok Dong is going to be complicated. He's doing bad things to help with his brother who is in prison, get a pay check, and maybe prevent things from happening before the "scarier person" comes to hurt these girls. Though Yi Kyeong didn't quite get that luxury and I hope someone is gonna help her soon. Angry Mom help a girl out! There's also a terrible past about Ah Ran's conception. Also linking to that scarier guy that threatened Ye Kyeong. Gong Joo witnessed something awful happening to Kang Ja (assuming it's Kang Ja). Rape I believe. Ah Ran might be that child. Apparently Kang Ja tells everyone that Ah Ran is her dead sister's daughter. Ah Ran knows her mother is lying about this and some of that rage is not being properly claimed. I believe that Kang Ja is protecting her daughter from the awful truth and the stupid opinions of others. Let's see if this is all true or if there's a twist.I love this transformation bit to high school student. Because Gong Joo is gonna be Kang Ja's mother. The love these women have for each other is so touching. I also wonder if Bok Dong threatened Kang Ja then shouldn't he immediately know who Bang Wool is. AKA the mother he just threatened the night before. I love how tidy this drama is. Event he new teacher can confirm that she is a student. Who happens to be a certain judge's son and apparently isn't a good teacher cause he's not dirty.Dirty as in the school system is corrupted! The head chairman of the school is using the school as a front to launder money? Crazy!! It's gangsta school. I mean this chairman is so loaded his son has a bike in his room to use as a noise maker to drowned out his dad beating his wife/secretary. These people are bad and it makes the school system look hell'a corrupt. Though considering how much the teachers get paid and how much these principals and so on make you can kind of believe it. You know. Stretch the truth because there is some truth in it. This drama is off to a pretty brilliant start. The raw emotions perfectly balanced with humor! Not to mention that ending. "Come join us, angry mom." Kang Ja isn't wasting time. She's found her female bullies and the boy who's made death threats. Poor Teacher Park Noh Ah! His new trouble student has him in a headlock! What a cliffhanger!

6.0/10 - Wonderful start and great energy!

"The one who loves more is always the weaker one." - Kang Ja"A strange and mysterious being. I am a mom." Kang JaThe opening for this drama is pretty awesome. It also establishes Kang Ja and her beliefs in the world. It shows us who she really is independently, as a mother, daughter-in-law, and wife. The many facades and versions of Kang Ja. I believe one character, a evil corrupted school lackey, aptly refers to Kang Ja "as no ordinary woman". Kang Ja loves her daughter deeply and completely. The first quote is about her love for her daughter. In a flashback Kang Ja is reminded about the horrible things she said to her mother. Just like the backstabbing cruelness that Ah Ran delivered to her. Kang Ja soon learns it isn't crazy adolescence. Her daughter is being bullied. Somehow because of her association with Yi Kyeong. Kang Ja hears her daughter shouldn't be hanging with Yi Kyeong. Then people keep warning Ah Ran is getting warnings that she shouldn't be hanging with Yi Kyeong. Ah Ran wants to defend her good friend. There are rude comments about Yi Kyeong being a lesbian. Kang Ja is serious about protecting her daughter. Though it soon becomes clear that her daughter won't speak up for herself and none of the other students will come forward. Not to mention that her daughter goes from being the victim to the person in the wrong. Everyone else has money and affluence, and Kang Ja should be the one removed. Kang Ja then finds out how unhelpful the law is. Soon her illusions about the school system helping or the law providing any aid becomes clear. Bullying is all to easy to receive and no one wants to help. Overall this is a great setup. Giving us a look into Kang Ja and the unjustice world that is leading her down the path we the viewers know she will take up. Plenty of intrigue is setup. Like what is this truth behind what happened to Yi Kyeong? Why are kids will to deal out death threats at knife point (why my lovely Ji Soo)? There's more to this story than simple bullying, but this is clearly a story of how unfair and lethal it is. Even a loving mother is powerless against it.The ending was interesting. We have no idea why she went to the night club, except maybe her old ties from youth? I have to say this is a pretty great setup and love the energy of the show. The cast is pretty impressive and Kim Hee Sun as Kang Ja is clearly going to be another wonderful performance by one of my favorite actresses. I love how everyone says how young Kang Ja is and that one teacher thinking she's a student. The setup up is there. Maybe they'll say it enough we'll truly believe it! ^_-

3.0/10 - It truly baffles me how boring this is.

It truly baffles me how boring this is. Not to mention every prediction I made about the storyline and characters is true. Honestly there's nothing for me to even review here! The characters are all borrowed from other shows. Except for Ah Ryung. I mean how many ace speed women with all kinds of illegal skills are there in dramaland? Not many. In fact, I can't think of one with her set of skills. She was so bad@$$ this episode. The coolest part and funniest/best parts of this episode had her in it. It's been finally confirmed that Su Hyuk was a rich mans son who upheld the law. Something clearly went wrong that lead him down this path to seek justice. Even his ties with Prosecutor Jang In Gyoo where just as cliche and easy to read. His master plan mapped out underneath a curtain check. Mysterious guy who suddenly is taking a look at Su Hyuk's actions and says interesting just as the camera cuts back to Su Hyuk's dream vision board and it zooms in on the cut out in the center questioning who is behind it all. This is where I normally drop such a bad drama. I'll give it one more episode and then I"m out.

6.0/10 - This was a great every character episode!

Wow! A lot happens in this episode. More than I thought. My notes pretty much take up a whole notebook page! When did that happen!? So I'm just gonna chill and do highlights. Because I think I got a bit OCD on this. There is no way, no how, no Harumi denial strong enough for even Harumi to not see Yuri's feelings. It's scary how clueless, or willfully clueless, Harumi is. I think maybe the studying has fried her brain. Though by the time this episode is done and everything observers have said there is no way she can claim that Yuri doesn't like her. So hopefully the old jokes and back crap can stop. I do like that her boss is trying to help her more as she finally takes her life and role seriously. Yuri is like screw all you rivals and everyone. I like Harumi and I'm getting her. "As long I get into Todai . . . I can tell her." Oh, don't for get: "Back off! She's mine!" At least they made Yuri irresistible during all those study montages. Plus, he still stops by her place for a morning ride in the summer. So sweet. Man, at this point Todia is just a formality. Because he let's her know he likes her and that he's just waiting for the Todia exam and acceptance. I felt like she gave him a green light. Curse the writing if she's denying it to herself. I really enjoy Harumi's friend Matsuoka Miwa. It's proof that you can be total opposites, but get each other. Or at leas Miwa het Harumi. Though this episode I loved-loved-loved seeing Miwa get some of her own romance. With who I had hoped she would!! I won't spoil it just encase others had know clue it would happen, but I thought "these two are totally made for each other!" The whole furtune thing about romance and lucky item green shoes was hilarious. Especially after seeing Miwa work a room to find candidates for a new husband! I do believe Miwa is over helping Masashi. The man is pathetic.Speaking of Masashi. His character type is one I've always hated. The guy who pines forever, never truly confessing, but then wants the girl once eveyrone else wants her. I know he's tried, but he really didn't get going until there were rivals. The guy only manned up enough to punch Yamashita. I mean Harumi has had boyfriends. Was she supposed to stay chaste for Masashi like he did for her? Please, you don't own her! Then he couldn't figure out that as family who could leak to her parents about a guy staying over? Hello!Yamashita is cool. I immediately identifies his rivals and lets them know what's what. I agree Masashi is a loser and not really competition. I loved the whole confrontation between Yuri and Yamashita. Yamashita clearly thinking he had the upper hand. Boom! Surprise, "Back off! She's mine!", is tossed in his face and he has nothing but respect for his TRUE RIVAL Yuri. Yamashita is even cool enough to realize he needs to take Yuri's lead and let Harumi get used to the idea that he likes her. At first after he confessed I thought he was backing out. He realized though that Harumi needs to know, but then have time to think about it. Cause right now she's all about Yuri, and despite what she claims it's more intense then tutor student. He's a smart man. A worthy opponent.Random things I love how Harumi's curse hit Miwa's shoes and then hit Masashi with a chopstick one! Yamashita's talk that he didn't do more than grabbing Harumi's boob because "She was passed out drunk there wouldn't be any point." Um, how about if you did something that would be rape. So Harumi's lack of confidence in math led me to believe that she would get a tutor for math that would teach him and her. For a moment I even though Yuri might accept a private tutor. Instead Harumi goes behind Yuri's back and even enlists his dad to help get him into the Todia Cram School. Smart and I believe that Harumi is the one who could make him do it. However . . . that new cram tutor's weird eye blinking was the blinking light of danger!! I hope whatever that is doesn't ruin this drama. I get it. They're introducing another older woman who is a "teacher" to taste Yuri's resolve, love, and interest in Harumi. Still dangerous ground. While this episode did make Yamashita feel like a contender he's second string. (The rape thing also knocks off huge points so I don't feel bad.) Team Yuri!!!!

4.0/10 - This epispde was a bit slower and boring for me.

This episode was a bit slower and boring for me. Mainly because testing holds 0 interest for me and up until this point the story had found a decent balance in making what was happening interesting. Now it's settling in and I get why it's an okay story for Japan. However, I'm just thankful our big tests for colleges weren't this crazy! Overall I Iiked the ending. Though how can Harumi not be aware that Yuri likes her. Plus, she's obsessed with Yuri she has to know. I mean Yamashita is confessing to her and he stops before he's even done because he realizes she couldn't care less. She's all about Yuri. At least Yamashita has the courage to be like "Yo, this is what's going on and you can't ignore it!" So brava on his part. Overall the love square is turning very basic and I have no doubt Yuri will be the winner. Unless the writing takes a better turn. We're have way through and I doubt anything twisty will be pulled out of the plot.

5.0/10 - I like that Harumi's friend is supporting the pink hair . . .

Yeah no pity for Masashi Yakumo. Who I will now unfondly refer to as Masashi. 20 years and he has actually confessed clearly like that before? But Harumi just doesn't understand since she wasn't allowed to date and then just never really dated. No. I get that Yamashita said she didn't get it before he had given her that note when he'd asked her out. But the note was a clear one and she understood it. Not to mention that she had a boyfriend that dumped her at the start and I doubt he was the first. Why would she have doubts that men are interested? How could she ignore a blatant ask out and confession like that? This is stupid writing. Oddly it's a trope that I have fond a lot in dramas, but mainly J-dramas. One that just drives me cray-cray!!!I like that Harumi's friend is supporting the pink hair, but there's no way anyone is that dense! Overall this episode was pretty fun. Masashi's role left a lot to be desired. He followed her out and just deflated like a balloon. This is one of those times would I would encourage him to move on. Harumi is ignoring his confessions because she doesn't want that to happen. Something is wrong with Masashi. I had no idea cram schools would take trips though! I thought the whole trip scenario was going to be skipped in this drama. At least the swimsuit/hot springs was a joke! Not sure if I could have handled it. Harumi clearly understood what Yuri was putting out. But she's a lady! It's been made clear she thinks it's a legal. Yes, I think she's into it but her good soul won't allow it! Which I approve. So I'm happy to wait with Yuri for the end joy! Masashi is clearly on the outs to just be pitied now. Especially after he saw that flu induced hand holding between Yuri and Harumi. Yamashita is getting his divorce so I'm sure he'll be in the running soon.

6.0/10 - It's true people or events can wake us up!

It's true people or events can wake us up! I do believe Harumi is interested in Yuri at this point to only get him into Tokyo University! Maybe she's dong it to prove she can. Now that she believes she didn't get in because she's emotionally unstable. Okay so she's 30, that is not old! I hate how this whole back thing seems to just be there to say she's old! But fellow older men are not putting their backs out. It looks like she has an active life taking her dog for walks and she's interjected enough. I mean she loaded those boxes okay! I'm very annoyed with this whole back thing. Unless they actually make it a real thing. Like she feel down some stairs (which has happened, but was not the start) or . . . why didn't her back go out lifting? It did for running!!? I get it she's on older woman. But I don't think other dramas with male leads older than the woman take this much pain in annoyingly making a big deal out of their ages.Yamashita is a cool guy and I think he makes a great drinking buddy for Harumi. If he wasn't married then I'd say he would be the most likely one to make it through to her. I'm sure divorce papers are coming. Overall I really love the feel of this drama. Even the other females get some fun time to be shown. Though Eto Mika really has some issues. Harumi actually gets to help her out a bit and I think set her on the rignt path. Which I am so relieved about. Overall this is fun and I really like the pacing of this drama. It's a cute reverse harem! Though I don't feel for Masashi. I mean he's confessing now, but just watch she won't get it and he won't back it up hardcore like.

6.0/10 -

This episode really resonated with me. Junko is a woman I understand. She was successful in school and all expectations were for her to get into prestigious Tokyo University. She failed. Much to her mother's disappointment. A disappointment she had to live with from there on. A disappointment she had sacrificed her youth for. Realizing that she had been living behind a fake smile. That she hadn't been having fun or doing what she wanted. In a job she hates just chugging along trying to maybe get an ounce of her mother's approval. This is an episode of reflection and I'm very curious to see what choices Junko will make. I admire her will not to cry or break down. This was also an episode of very cute meet queues. Kyohei Yuri's pink hair is actually what lured me into this drama, and I had know idea how much more I would fall into it. Darn pink hair can be sexy on a guy! I already like the chemistry between Junko and Yuri! That said Masashi is Junko's cousin. Which is acceptable and normal in Japan. I figured people might ask about that. (Looking at some of the comments they have been. This is a super fun start and I'm looking forward to this promising start.

3.0/10 - It's so cool, but so bad.

There's no doubt this is cool. Cool shots. Cool music. Cool fights. Cool. Cool. Boring. Yep, super boring. It's because it's still hasn't taken the time to develop its leads or the story. Now I'm nervous that the first episode is the end goal. That the 3 months prior is the whole story. Or most of it or . . . . I don't know. There was actually a point where there's cool scene transition happened that I thought the take down was happening. Instead we see the target and then it's all just about him. We go back to the team and find out they're just barely getting together to chat. It's annoy! The pacing is off and I feel like the writing isn't even trying. Just toss in a few chool transitions and music. Smiling team members with slow motion walking and we've got a cool show! There is some minor attempts to get some information across about the team members, but I still don't know them nor care about them.Clearly Su Hyuk has a big end plan. His reaction to the picture at the prosecutors home and so on. I'm just not convinced if Player is up to doing anything. There's another drama that this rocky start reminds me of. You're All Surrounded. A drama that never paid off, but I did enjoy the characters. I'm just nervous for Player. This the writers first work and I'm actually really bored. With an action drama!I need character development and an actual interesting plot that's not . . . whatever boring this is.
