05/10 - Very lovely moments this episdoe.

A beautiful moment! Gorgeous music, lovely glowing wings, Kim Dan being stoic as he walks on glass. "What are these?" Yeon Seo is too cold hearted to realize the gift of real Angel wings that just saved her. She thought they were for "perverted things"? Um, what perverted things? I mean why does she got going on in HER mind??!! At least she finally remembered his feet! Not to mention his Angel power's seem to heal things, because that would have hurt. Poor Kang Woo didn't get to meet and greet Yeon Seo how he wanted. Not sure if he would have fared any better. At least he came back and an Kim Dan's lack of driving skill (new he couldn't drive!!!) helped him. Kang Woo's interesting in Yeong Seo and the background check he wants run on Kim Dan seems weird. Not to mention everyone is thinking Kim Dan did it. Though I have a feeling Yeong Seo doesn't believe it at all. While I'm glad anorexia among ballet performers is being addressed I don't think it was handled right. Ni Na seemed to obvious a choice for it. Plus, ballerina's have to be super smart about what they do. If she's a prima ballerina she should be having broken bones and not be able to perform right. Anorexia and ballet don't mix well for long periods of time. Not to mention that Ni Na just rushing to the bathroom like that was super awkward and a dead giveaway. Not to mention that she was stalking Kang Woo. Finally got a truly heart warming moment with Yeon Seo as she visits those she loves. I found her words very moving and I'm glad she has remorse. I was very worried. I love how Kim Dan's boss, Archangel Hoo, just keeps popping up to help him! Especially when he was hinting that Kang Woo was destiny? That would be super refreshing that the first male lead is gonna help the second lead get the girl? Though I doubt that. Still it would be cool.I keep bouncing all these ideas around that I think would be cool, but it's not happening. Though I am truly curious about the window thing not being an accident. Sure they broke the window. But how did they get the chandelier to fall at just the right time???! No really. Oh, and those OSTs were on full display! Marvelous!

9.0/10 - This is one smooth drama.

This is not one of those dramas that is gonna tease you endlessly. The writer and director worked seamlessly to create perfect timing. Things are serious. Then joyful. Big plots move along. Like Ji An and Dong Hoon finally meeting. HIm forgiving her and taking care of her. Helping her out. Down to Sang Hoon's floor money! Every character is lovingly showcased here. Developed and involved in the story. This is masterful! So why 9 instead of 10? It had just a tad of a drag here and there, and apparently I am a snob. ^_-Either way I thinkg Sang Hoon and most of Dong Hoon's friends are seeing how good Ji An is for him? Or that he cares so they should? I'm curious what is happening. Only Dong Hoon's brothers know about the affair. So I feel like it's odd that everyone is cheering Dong Hoon and Ji An on. Though maybe they all sense that Dong Hoon needs to move on from his marriage. It does make me sad that Dong Hoon may lose is promotion, but I know how he feels about not wanting to be stuck at a desk. He wants to do the work. Be in the thick of things. He's not cut out for desk work only. Which is sad because Korea doesn't seem to want to let senior employees do grunt work because of how they feel about age. The final episode is coming and I am absolutely go crazy! I have faith this drama can wrap up beautifully and give closure. Or at least a great ending. I'm also fearful that it might not. I have faith though. Not to mention because my emotions for how I want certain things to go and what might actually happen are at conflict. There is this feeling that the monk will finally come down, and I really think that would be lame.

8.0/10 - Some of the most complex and dynamic characters I have ever seen in a drama.

Can I just say I park my car next to nice cars because, usually, they're not gonna bang you or hit you. Those drivers care. The whole abuse of that van is just too funny. The van is a character unto itself and it's such an odd comedic point. At least it didn't get tipped over this time, but it was almost just as funny. Wow. So Ji An is still on that she likes Park Dong Hoon. I do believe it, but is she still thinking of betraying him? She's having those photos pulled of him helping her. Though I think I'm missing something culturally cause that is in no way damning or blackmail type stuff to me! I thought it was super interesting how all of Park Dong Hoon's friends helped him walk Ji An to her door. I really wonder what they were thinking. Also, this made me think of how accepting they seem of Ji An. Which then made me think that perhaps all Kang Yoon Hee needed to do was to just show up with Park Dong Hoon to become part of the community that he loves. Her whole reason for their failed marriage is that he spent too much time with his "family" not seeing her as family. Though Park Dong Hoon's mother did set her apart. Perhaps that's because Yoon Hee kept herself apart? A failed marriage doesn't just happen on it's own, but the affair can never be blamed on the other person in the marriage no matter how justified. I'm also annoyed how quickly Gi Hoon turned on Yoo Ra. He has a point there are just as harsh directors as him out there. Yoo Ra has to learn how to deal with it. He can't take all the blame. Ah, the reveal. He knows he bullied her. That he was trying to use her to save face. At least he had the courage to tell Yoo Ra the truth and they just came together. I love the flow of their relationship. Gi Hoon saying they better not dump each other. Since she's the actress and he's the cleaner. Yoon Hee is a very complex character. While I think she is blaming Joon Yeong a bit too much—takes two to make an affair—the woman is right. Joon Yeong would have never married her. Secondly he only went after her because of his jealousy of Dong Hoon. Even Yoon Hee's reaction to Ji An saying she truly likes Dong Hoon. I know she probably doesn't want the last truth to come out that she knew about Ji An. But I also think she realizes that Dong Hoon might truly like and care for Ji An. Maybe just because he's good, but after 20 years she might know him better. Either way I love how complex these characters are. Even Lee Gwang the Loan Shark showed some more complexity. He use to carry Ji An home after his father beat her. He's damaged just as much by his father as Ji An and her grandmother. He misses Ji An, but instead of trying to be a friend. He thinks he needs to beat her. He's not a good person, but his past has ruined him. It was also nice seeing one of Dong Hoon's neighborhood friends keeping an eye on Ji An since he asked. I love Dong Hoon's family, friends, and the community. People need to help and love each other like that. It makes me sad how his wife couldn't see it and join in. Overall this ending was sweet. Ji An did make it happen so that Dong Hoon would not be pulled in on the scandal she had been setting up. Which makes me happy. She handled it beautifully when called in for that interview. She used the truth. The ending was very nice. Though it's only a matter of time before Dong Hoon finds out the truth about Ji An. After all they can never have friendship or a true romance without it all coming out. I really would love it if they could have more. I'm curious where the writer is taking them. As an after thought I need to touch base on Jung Hee. I hope after those texts she can move on. She's been waiting for him believing that he's been waiting for her. Jung Hee can hopefully move on.

6.0/10 - Things are definitely getting setup for tragedy/betrayal!

So it's obvious the betrayal/tragedy drama is getting super setup. Though I'm still waiting on word of what happened to Zhao Yao's mom in the past. Clearly everyone is dead except for Zhao Yao and her grandfather. Who, points to him let Zhao Yao achieve her own dreams. Though I'm still wondering if Grandfather just pretended he didn't know that Demon Son—Mo Qing, until he gets a new name!—escaped or he genuinely didn't know. I guess since he couldn't enter the mountain he didn't know. That feels unlikely since he said his clans fate was done. So . . . Now let us talk about how badass Zhao Yao was! Using what Luo Ming Xuan—you know the pretty face/Golden Diety—told her it sounds like the poor Demon Son is being unjustly killed. Luo Ming Xuan can't see that at all, but Zhao Yao truly believes it. My girl is not only badass in morals, but in her fight skills as she took on all those supposedly "good sect" guys and squashed them. She was injured, but she won. Which makes it awesome. True the fight scenes were not the best I've seen in a Wuxia, but they were decent and definitely felt real with both sides taking damage.Which leads to me wondering why Zhao Yao is not getting more attention. This girl trained and became a killer warrior who fights for good. Has a fabulous personality and totally saved the male lead Mo Qing. She actually takes on the role of the savior and many role reversal parts ensue. (Though it annoys me to call them that.) I loved the adorable head pat she gives Mo Qing after she gives him a name! Not to mention all the other "role reversal" parts that just feel so natural with Zhao Yoa as our leading lady! Well done. That said Mo Qing, much like Luo Ming Xuan, can't help but be swayed by Zhao Yao. Though I feel like Mo Qing is definitely romantic. Where Luo Ming Xuan feelings might still be up in the air. Such as he might just think of her as a sweet student to mold or something. Either way how can anyone resist. An interesting setup is that the one student with the dot on his forehead from Ash Tower thought what they were doing to the Demon Son was wrong. Then his master is trying to keep him away from a certain maiden. I assume Zhao Yao. Interesting, interesting. This is a pretty solid build up episode. I love this cliffhanger as well. With Zhao Yao seeking Luo Ming Xuan out. There was a good traveling montage and Mo Qing pining away after her. She's reached her destination and I love the surprise from the guards when she pronounces who she is and that she's there to speak to Luo Ming Xuan! The epic build up is awesome!

This was an episode of reflection. Of how people act and who is really happy. Dong Hoon believes his whole life has been a sacrifice. His monk friend even telling him that by doing this he is the brother that causes his mother to worry and feel pain the most. His monk friend to guides him in realizing that Dong Hoon needs to live, be selfish, and not treat his life like some sacrifice. To live how he wants his son to life, not to suffer. All the while we see that maybe his monk friend isn't happy. The bar gal and him had ties, and clearly his life choices led to them both being unhappy. It's interesting to see how the powerful people liked how nice and caring, or "perfect", Dong Hoon was. Until it might create a scandal. They can't truly see how anyone can be kind. That only greed and desire is behind every motive. An issue that Joon Yeong has. It's funny to see both sides having that in common.Dong Hoon's wife wants to be caught. She tries to tell him, and even the key card to the hotel was left to fall out in front of him. When she finally says sorry it all becomes real. Dong Hoon's pain that of all the people it had to be Joon Yeong. I have to agree. She had admitted early she knew what kind of person he was before. She felt shame after because of the type of person he was. She had to know that Joon Yeong desired her. Even if she was to dense to realize it was because Joon Yeong was jealous of Dong Hoon. Dong Hoon's words that she had basically said "he was dead" by having that affair was true. She was willing to not only divorce him, but conspire to ruin this life to benefit the main she was cheating on him with. A man she knew he despised. Change is coming. Dong Hoon threw that punch and confrontation out there and I hope he has a plan. Clearly he still wants some kind of contact with Ji An. I just have a feeling neither of them truly has a grand plan. It's weird that I don't full trust what Ji An will do. She's a good person and I fee like she was just testing the waters saying she'd drug and sleep with Dong Hoon. Maybe she recorded it? That's assuming there's a grand plan again.Yes!!! Gi Hoon ran to Yoo Ra! Only to clean up her vomit and find her all wrinkled up again. He even confessed to loving her. Which gets no reaction. I wonder if she remembers it? I'm sure she does. At least she shows up at the bar. I'm a bit nervous about where everyone is gonna end up in this drama.

9.0/10 - Run! Run!!!

Ha-ha! I love how not only Dong Hoon's brothers came running, but the entire nieghborhood! Loan Shark is darn lucky that they didn't know where it happened and who. I love how they all came up with an excuse too. Gi Hoon got him playing soccer! Though it's clear that Gi Hoon is an angry person. I think the meaner he is to you the more he cares about the person. Same with things. At least Dong Hoon's wife is a bit smarter, well untrusting, cause she didn't by soccer. Sure her first thoughts were of Joon Yeong. I hate her threats about taking him out when she just kind of mopes around and is still rude to Dong Hoon. "I'll destroy you! She says. Pffff. Even after kind of feeling ashamed now that she knows her husband knows, she's still treating him poorly.Best news is that Ji An is all paid off! Though Loan Shark ain't ever gonna let her escape. He's just licking his wounds. When the money came and he was draped on what looked like a fainting couch I almost laughed myself silly. There was an inconsistent thing though. Suddenly Ji An could hear what the other person on Dong Hoon's phone was saying? That hasn't worked in the past. I hate inconsistent things.Holy dramas though! Getting Grandma settled and Dong Hoon helping was so sweet. When Grandma told Dong Hoon "she could rest easy for the first time knowing he was in Ji An's life" I lost it! So moving. Oh, my dramas. The goodbyes. Everything! I love it when Dong Hoon can see Ji An and they can be so open and frank. Not to mention Dong Hoon saying: "IF that bastard torment you again . . . call me right away." Not only will he come, but he'll call on his bros/neighborhood! I would love to see all those guys running towards Loan Shark! Whip his butt! They had such real conversation! It was funny to see Ji An assume Dong Hoon was suddenly running away from her and not trying to catch the bus.Time for the brothers. Eldest is again so weird. Stashing money under the floor? Really. That's just stupid. Gi Hoon 's finally come face to face with his feelings. Yoo Ra is dealing with her issues about failing and being scolded. Gi Hoon can't see that maybe he blew it for a romance? I don't know. That said it's so weird seeing Ji An confess her feelings so she can get hit on camera. I'm confused why she's still setting up Dong Hoon. I feel like there should be a twist that she really is helping. Like with her friend taking those pictures. But considering how under thought out some of her other life choices were . . . I don't know if the writer will let that happen. It's interesting how jealous Joon Yeong is that people like Dong Hoon. He can't see how being a good person is desirable or real. That said I'm really disappointed that the tech friend of Ji An's is still basically there to aid and not be developed. I man this story would not exist without him! No really.

8.5/10 - I am shook!!!! What is this drama doing to me!!!!!!!!?

Wow. We resume our train ride of tension and apprehensions. No one. NO ONE! Can ever tell me that IU can't act!! I thought she was awesome in Scarlet Reyo, but no one can argue with her performance here. Not a word spoken. Yet she conveyed the doubts she felt about her actions and what was happening. Her joy that Dong Hoon might truly like her. That it's more than pity. She want to keep eating and be by his side, but she doesn't want those moments ruined by Joon Yeong's evil. Plus, was he kind of waiting for her?! Huh? Huh!! ;)Not to mention all their banter. Don't call me Mister, call me manager! I love their candid moments together!!Is it not normal in Korea to have siblings be super close? Cause I love how much these three brothers hang. Even though Big Bros talk about the funeral stuff got super annoying. I get different cultures have different ideas, but I"m sure you're dead mother ain't gonna care. She's going to be wanting you to dream about good stuff for her to enjoy while dead. Not a bunch of people kissing her sons butts while they're attending her funeral. Though I won't lie the funeral fantasy ending was hilarious! It's kind of nice seeing Dong Hoon getting excited to be Director, despite what he said about the job before. Another moving moment is when Ji An lets her grandmother that she will be going to a free facility. I'm sure the grandma is happy to get some better surroundings--hopefully proper heat--but I believe her true emotions were for the fact that she won't be a burden on her granddaughter anymore. Also, that maybe her daughter has someone kind and caring in her life. I might be projecting my feelings though. I already miss cute grandma and she hasn't left yet! Random stuff I enjoyed is that even Joon Yeong underling knows that Dong Hoon is a good person. I never even thought he could be framed for inappropriate behavior/cheating. Joon Yeong still doesn't "buy" that Dong Hoon is a good person. The bar owner is indeed entangled with that monk who was Dong Hoon's neighborhood friend. I thought the comments about her and monks was the clue. I also like how Yoo Ra is making him be nice to her and heal the anxiety his harshness gave her. I can't believe how much I like her now. The whole scene with the brother and friend watching as Gi Hoon straightens Yoo Ra out was wonderful!! Ha-ha! It's interesting how fast Dong Hoon becomes upset with Ji An. Though by the end of the episode I appreciate that he gives Ji An the same benefits as his wife. He sought the truth out. In the end he decides to be on her side. While I didn't cry like Ji An my heart felt the same way when Dong Hoon said, "I would have killed him too. I'd kill anyone who beat up my family." My emotions! I don't even know how the next episode is gonna pick up, but I am shook!

9.0/10 - Oh, my drama!! So intense!!!!!!!

I've said it before that while there are flavors of romance between Ji An and Dong Hoon it's been more friendship/camaraderie between them. I'd be fine with them being just friends. Except this episode is so beautiful. Seeing Dong Hoon give the bar guy free consultations for his building, and he'd been setup and doing it for quite a while, was so sweet. Dong Hoon loves his work! Ji An gives him a hard time for being such a good guy, but you can see how touched she is by it. Their conversation as Dong Hoon walk Ji An home is so wonderful. I felt like it was one of the first real conversations they had. One for the sake of just being comfortable and talking together. Of course there's shadow cast by Loan Shark stalking Ji An.I didn't mention it in my last episode review just encase of spoilers (I just don't like to label for spoilers), but if you're reading this you should have watched last episode. Ji An's running to share that chilling conversation as to why Joon Yeong is having an affair with Yoon Hee with Yoon Hee was epic. Getting hit by the car was a bit too much, but the affect was grand. Having a murder tell her what a idiot she was for having an affair with Yoon Hee must have been one heck of a slap to the face. Then to have Ji An tell her "to get it together!" Ha-ha, Yoon Hee was living in a dream world. Once she woke up she could see more of the truth of what Yoon Hee was doing. It's interesting that for a while Yoon Hee was fired up to win. Ignoring his calls and letting him know it was over. Yoon Hee's panic never felt like the loss of love. Maybe he does feel something, but I don't think it's love. I felt like it was a man who realized that he had lost the toy he had stolen from anther man. A toy that had become done with him. Yoon Hee doesn't know it's Dong Hoon that is getting the pay phone removed, but she believes that Yoon Hee was tragically trying to end their relationship. Maybe she can now see that he wanted her because she was Dong Hoon's wife. Even she can admit that she could never see them getting married. A concern that Dong Hoon new from the beginning. It was all powerful. Her wraith broke down fast, but I do believe she was in love in away. Realizing the kind of man she had been in love with. Blind enough to help bring down her own husband. A man she knows is good. Joon Yeong tries to act heroic and make himself shine in a better light. Switch things off onto her. I'm just happy she sees who he really is.It's interesting hearing the other directors say that Dong Hoon has no flaws. That even after Dong Hoon says he doesn't want the role of director that he still wants to be out in the field doing real work they will promote him. I get it though. I wouldn't want to be a director, I'd want to be in the thick of the work. I wonder if it's a reflection on Korean society. You're a senior and they're supposed to get respect and advance. Is that why the get laid off after 20 years and no one will higher them? It's unseemly to have an older person working along side younger? That's just silly. That creates huge problems. I feel like I am missing something. The best workers tend to be the ones more matured and experienced. So Dong Hoon's son is abroad at a private school. That's interesting. Seems that despite the distance the son and Dong Hoon/Yoon Hee have a good relationship. I thought the kid would be older even after seeing only young pictures. The whole thing about them having a kid feels so weird. Just the way the writing pretty much screamed that the kid was dead. Then, oh yeah, we need to include him. Surprise he's alive! Feels like bad writing. It was interesting seeing both sister-in-laws, brothers, and mom all together. I doo feel bad for Yoon Hee. Dong Hoon's mom and eldest brother's wife just constantly poke at her. Oh, you're a working woman we can't make you work more or help us! Oh, poke. Poke. Only Gi Hoon defends Yoon Hee. I feel like if Dong Hoon just said one thing his mother would ease up, thus the other wife would too. Yoon Hee feels outside of his family. They'r so tight it seems like they don't let anyone in, but clearly the other wife is on the same footing. The Loan Shark has been totally adding the smell of blood. He's stalking Ji An and figuring out the importance of Dong Hoon to her. This boy is jealous! It is no longer about his dad. He believes that Ji An is his. He's twisted about her and plans to do whatever he wants with her. He's obsessed and his obsession is being twisted by his already dark soul. Clearly this man/boy is gonna add blood to the water soon. Okay. So I know I'm kind of mucking up my shark anthologies/metaphors, but I think it gets my point across. Yoo Ra (the actress) won everyone's hearts over in the last episode saying that she was happy that others found happiness even after failing. Basically saying she was a failure too and that she was happy to see it's okay for her being happy as one. This episode we get to see that maybe Gi Hoon may have been horrible to her. Maybe Yoo Ra had a crush on him, but his rudeness may have been what broke her. So that she doesn't want to act again because she's afraid everyone will chew her out. I feel like they've setup a darker story about Gi Hoon. Under the surface he's been a mean and not nice guy. Maybe he got carried away with Yoo Ra. Even a simply hug was extremely hard for him to give. When confronted with information, or at least Joon Yeong's opinion, that Dong Hoon really likes Ji An she is happy. For money she still has to spy on him and help Joon Yeong. She's going to come to a fork in the road. She was finally willing to show her on fangs to Loan Shark in order to protect Dong Hoon. Romance may be blossoming now. I still don't understand why Ji An owes Loan Shark anything now! He broke in!!!!!! Not to mention that he beat up Ji An's friend!! (Who hasn't been developed more! I mean with this kind of writing they shouldn't just have him there to be the tech guy. Lazy!! Bad!) I'm at the edge of my seat with where the next episode is going to go.

8.0/10 - Everything is so intense and my emotions on high!

It's impressive how Dong Hoon's wife isn't even slightly worried that her husband might think she's having an affair. It feels like he might no her better then she knows him in some ways? I mean after eating with Dong Hoon she boldly goes to the pay phone to call her cicisbeo (AKA male mistress because apparently society is more obsessed labeling wrong doing females then coming up with better words for wrong doing males). It's also interesting that Yoon Hee finally starts to see some of the real darkness from her manstress (that still doesn't feel right, but I'll use it) Joon Yeong. Yet she's still willing to work with Joon Yeong to remover her husband. I man Joon Yeong doesn't blink at all the stuff that was done and he plans to do. Even saying that he'll "take care of her quietly", Ji An, when he gets his goals met. It's interesting that Yoon Hee had an affair with someone the complete opposite of her husband. Dong Hoon was so impressive this episode! He made sure there was no doubt that Yoon Hee was having an affair. I mean to call his wife and then Joon Yeong's phone so he could hear it ring in the background and then hang up so he knew 100% that she was with him was brilliant! BRILLIANT! Clearly Dong Hoon has great instincts. He just keeps choosing to be a doormat. He thinks it's the better way to deal with things. The issue is bad people will still do bad things, because they can't understand that good people don't want to play. (Wow, flash to playground days!! He-he) Finally word on Dong Hoon's son. No confirmation if he's alive, but we now know that grandma had a heavy hand in raising him. Because Yoon Hee was still passing the bar. Though I have to strongly agree with Gi Hoon (the youngest brother) that it's very sexist. If it was a man no one would be bad mouthing her and they'd be congratulating her. She gives Dong Hoon's family money. Not to mention the talk about the wife being more successful then her husband is a bad thing! Wow. I know Korea is different, but that his harsh.Speaking of brothers the eldest, Sang Hoon, is really pathetic. Lovable, but pathetic. At times it's hard to listen to him and watch him. Maybe that's why he feels so real.Okay, I kept wondering how Ji An was finding Dong Hoon! Duh! GPS. My only thoughts are she thought he would jump. So she must know he knows, or thinks he does? Dong Hoon is tougher than that!Ji An can clearly see that Dong Hoon is a good person by now. Or at least is starting to believe it. I don't feel like they've entered the realm of romance yet. It's there don't get me wrong. It feels more like respect and camaraderie. Two people in similar boats. It was so moving as Ji An put Dong Hoon's word on repeat: "You're a good person."Can we address that the Loan Shark (that's all I am ever going to call the creep! Great acting by Jang Ki Yong though. I love him but he's totally making me loath/hate his character! Good job!) broke in! I mean he wrote it down that if he ever broke in their debt was settled. Not to mention he broke in and beat up Ji An. I don't care if it was the anniversary of his father's murder. Ji An has paid more than enough. To be brutalized by the son! Is it gonna be swept under the rug that he broke in?????!!!!!Wow! The actress Choi Yoo Ra is such a dumb and annoying character right now! It's funny she finds common ground with the bartender about wishing failure onto certain men. It's crazy. Her whole entry into the story feels crazy, especially her interest in Gi Hoon. Right now I find her annoying. Her smile is infectious though. The ending though!!! Dong Hoon's first side came boldly to the front! Amazing! I'm very proud of him. I can't believe how fantastic My Mister has become. If this was in someone else's hands My Mister could easily be a drab and horrid show. I love the down to earth humor and the real characters.

7.0/10 - THE EMOTIONS!!!!

About underwear. I know a lot of woman who keep extra pairs in their purses so they can always have clean underwear. Because what if you're hit by a bus and they cut your clothes off? My answer: "If you were hit by a bus you probably crapped yourself." These woman were serious though. Dong Hoon's brother Gi Hoon says it's all about expensive underwear! That's what will help you save face. >_< Who knew it would come into play later and "save" Dong Hoon's life. Or at least keep him going. That hilarious moment was then ruined by Gi Hoon nagging about Dong Hoon's wife. That they should be talking. Well at least he thought his brother was ashamed since he didn't mention the cleaning business. Which I'm now wondering how Korea pays cleaners. Here a Janitor can make a ton of money, especially a maintenance janitor. That's horrible work that no one wants to do! I think Dong Hoon's oldest bro gets it. After all he's pretty much separated from his wife. He just won't giver her that divorce. Gi Hoon's past comes vomiting back. The lady vomiting on the stairs is the actress that tanked his career. Which sounds like she liked him got nervous and blew it. Either way she's cray-cray and he's rude, somehow the complete each other. I feel like they will be the comic relief. The most important part of this episode is that we don't have to wait for Dong Hoon to find out his wife is cheating. I liked that Dong Hoon was savvy enough to know that CEO Do Joon Yeong had wronged him because his jerk boss was suddenly acting nice. Dong Woon thinks that just means Dong Hoon has always hated the guy. Dong Hoon is know idiot when a man who has treated you like crap suddenly starts being friendly you know they've wronged you. Though I can't believe Dong Hoon was stupid enough to bring those call records to his office! I' don't think he actually hid them. It was dumb luck they slid behind the drawer. Holy stupid!"You're a good person."
Oh, the emotions! It was weird seeing all the bump ins Ji An had with Dong Hoon. Especially has she listens to everything that's going on with him. The meeting on the street with his brothers. The turning point was when he sees her stealing a cart. He goes after her to return the food she left behind. To find out she's taking her grandma out. Ji An coldly tells her grandma about Dong Hoon being a good person that "It's easy to be good when you're privileged." You can see the sadness in her grandmothers eyes. Though considering how much she spies I honestly thought she'd get that Dong Hoon has worked his bought off and his family is poor. I'm sure they have to reveal that his family has always been poor. After Ji An's cold remarks Dong Hoon is still waiting for her to take her grandmother back. He doesn't comment on her living space or anything else. In fact, he just tells Ji An the above line. From there on he's talking just a bit, even mentions his son to her. Invites her to the work dinner.Which I believe is a huge turning point for Ji An. At the party she sees Joon Yeong and his underlying harass Dong Hoon. Knowing what she knows she has to see how sick it is. Why does he have to leave when he was the person wronged? I believe that big moon and the red cross that Dong Hoon saw while waiting for Ji An was a sign. After all when she later defends him and comes rushing to his aid her feelings have turned. She's even questioning why Joon Yeong is having an affair with a married woman. I think the most important question is a coworkers wife. I wonder want Dong Hoon's wife would think hearing Joon Yeong's answer. She already experiences how he treats her. It's hard to believe a company can have that much power. I mean going through employees things, internal investigations with now checks and only anonymous tips. Not to mention that all the employees witnessed the brutality, but the can't all band together? They stood up as one things would get better. These are not easy jobs to feel. It's specialized. I do believe Joon Yeong's adversaries would be wise to promote Dong Hoon. I honestly thought from the beginning that it would be smart of the company and give the show extra ammo. Plus, Ji An could become his person and help him. Her situation might stop her now, but it could change. Her friend (who we need some more info on) and her should be able to make money if they're this good. She even said it wasn't her first time doing this. In the end this episode was an emotional whammy. Ji An and Dong Hoon's relationship is growing. Not to mention Dong Hoon seeing his wife and in that one glance he knew. He had no doubts.

5.0/10 - Things are coming together and I hope the magic can finally happen for me.

I do believe this episode clears up the office politics and at least gets us setup enough of the majority of the characters. Which is good because it's time for My Mister to start flowing! My main issue has been waiting to get into the hearts of Ji An and Dong Hoon. They are both very aloof and cold characters to approach. Dong Hoon became a bit clear the last episode and I felt a complete disconnect from Ji Ah. I realized what it was. She's completely unsympathetic.Ji An has had a rough life. She wasn't lying when she'd said she had killed a man. Not even a stupid drama style one. Nope she knifed a man to death. From the details given I've pieced together that her grandmother was in debt to some loan sharks. The man came and was beating on Ji An. Her deaf grandmother came to help and the man started beating on the grandma. The episode reflects on what family is willing to do to protect each other. Ji An knifes the man, who happens to be the father of the loan shark harassing. Ji An. It's chilling to know that this loan shark can't see past the murder of his father to the brutality that Ji An was protecting herself from. Then again his brutal beatings and unwillingness to make it easy for her to pay off her debt is proof the apple does not fall far from the tree. That said Ji An can't see past her own struggle and sympathize with other. All she can see is that Dong Hoon makes 5 million won a month and is unhappy/bored. She can't think that maybe he's in the same predicament as her, but just a bit different. At times I thought she might have been trying to get Dong Hoon to see his wife's affair. I just think she was feeling for what she could use against him. Even thinking she could plan to frame Dong Hoon for having an affair! (The irony, and bless that smart employee looking out for her honest boss. I thought that tippi-toes and his arms in his coat was a dead giveaway too) Ji An has software on Dong Hoon's fun and is spying on everything he says and makes it into range of the speaker. Dong Hoon is ashamed of the miserable person Ji An can see. She sees the real him. But he's selling himself short. Soon Ji An gets a picture of his real life outside of her thoughts of how much money he makes. Especially when he goes and stands up for his brother. Up until this point Dong Hoon has just been taking every hit and rolling over belly exposed. He showed scary gumption to protect his family. As Ji An remembers what she did to protect her family she sees the real Dong Hoon.We all get to see a glimpse of the real Dong Hoon. (I also thought his big bro had cancer or something instead of humiliation!)Notes for thoughts the poor guy who got framed and "demoted" should have gone for drug testing. His whole freak out should have been handled better and I thought it was crazy he did that. Though it can be shocking to see how far the enemy was willing to go. Which makes me think that's why Ji An picked Joon Yeong. He has no morals and she could to whatever possible to earn the money. Dong Hoon's wife is scary. At least if it's true that they lost their child. I mean . . . why wouldn't Dong Hoon have been altered. I'd really like to know. Also, I get that Ji An killed his father but why is she talking that abuse. Ji An is hardcore. Couldn't she have the cops come and help her make payments? Why wouldn't Dong Hoon immediately state why he wanted Ji An fired? Clearly waiting for things to fall as they may do not work great for him. Pity does not feel like enough. In the end many of the characters are going from cold or annoying to finally "being seen". I hope this means My Mister can truly take off for me. It's complex and very real feeling. Now that the characters are finally starting to feel real, and in cases likable, or at least approachable, I feel like the "magic" should start happening.

4.0/10 - Ep 1 and 2 combined reivew *babbling* Super indepth review and babbling!

Yes, as mentioned in my headline this is a combined review of episode 1 and 2. Mainly because I rated them the same and they flowed better. My Mister has a super rough start. Barely even giving us a glimpse of the real leads of this drama it jumps straight to office politics and take overs. I mean . . . holy cow! They're even trying these special tactics to get us on board and team colors. Not to mention a bribe is sent out to take out a big to take out one of CEO Do Joon Yeong rivals. In a twist of a horrible error it gets sent to Dong Hoon. Oh, Dong Hoon's wife happens to be having an affair with Joon Yeong. Which if I was that woman and my husband came with news of that I'd super suspicious of Joon Yeong. But you know . . .she's kind of having and affair and nonchalant about this. Of course Dong Hoon can't prove that he has no idea who sent the bribe and that he didn't take it when Ji An takes it to pay off her loan shark. Only to find out that her loan shark would rather her be indebted to him for life and in jail. By reporting that she stole the money and tossing her in jail. She takes the money to work sees Dong Hoon being hauled off, but in the end listened to her building maintenance buddy and tosses it in the trash. Dong Hoon is being investigated and sent away. This leaves me with many questions about South Korea's laws. Firstly he was accused and basically not allowed to make a call and his cellphone taken away. Which is his personal cell phone and not work one. They also denied him his call to his wife AKA an attorney. They bullied and harassed. Have judged him an evidence that in my opinion clearly leaves it open to suspicions. I mean people actually said he was being setup. Not to mention they found the money and it doesn't say who it is from and it can clear him there. The name in the anonymous tip off of who received a bribe was clearly not Dong Hoon's name or position. It clearly screams botched setup. But . . . bull crap ensues. Not to mention can a company watch their employees like that? Can they have that much surveillance that basically means you can read someone's text in an elevator? How much power do these companies have? My Mister is clearly going to be giving us a look into poverty and hunger. When Dong Hoon mentioned that his brothers killed a pig because they were too young and stupid it smacked of untruth. They knew hunger and killed that pig for food. Dong Hoon has escape poverty, but the rest of his family hasn't Watching him deal with them and give money is a harsh reality. Ji An is broke, a loan shark feeding off her for crimes we assume has something to do with her answer of I killed a person, and has a disabled grandmother to take care of. She steals leftovers of the plates of her second job cleaning dishes. Her first job is working at Dong Hoon's office as a temp and clearly she does not want anyone there to know her. This is gonna be a harsh series, but I really want it to warm up.Despite how much there is to show about everyone's status and lives, and the work politics *sighs*, My Mister manages to already create some intense emotions. Dong Hoon is told he's so moral that his life is miserable. At the first chance his brother thinks he's having an affair and ready to tattle on him. Despite Dong Hoon's wife having an affair and the cold distance between the two making you wonder if it's an open secret. To having everyone blaming him for being bribed. I mean! He didn't ask for the bribe and he said it's a setup up! He has the weight of keeping his two hopeless brothers and sweet mom afloat. Ji An being the reason why he might now be doomed. Even though her accidentally saved him. Ji An is clearly the girl so beaten by the world she'd kill an innocent lady bug. Her broke state is made clear immediately from her inadequate socks (which Dong Hoon notices because his own mom does not have decent shoes) to stealing that food from work. Which I feel. When you're hungry the waste around you can be insane. When you're to that point you pick up every penny on the ground--not for luck--and I remember taking my friend's leftovers from lunch. Ji An states the worst thing she's ever killed was a person. Soon after meeting her loan shark I think that it has something to do with him. Though I feel like the murder she committed was probably one of those silly drama ones. I agree that the loan shark probably does like her. Because it's a drama and that's some super obsession that hate leads to love. It's interesting how she picked the bad guy to side with. Clearly the other side has a concession. Maybe that means she couldn't play them? Not sure how I feel about office politic war far. Overall I really dislike pretty much all of the other characters except for Dong Hoon's mom. Oh, and Ji An's grandmother. Dong Hoon's brothers are super annoying. If you hear both their stories it's pathetic. Not to mention the eldest actually decides to rob his daughter's wedding money. Enlisting the youngest brother to take the money from the people the eldest invited. The whole thing was stupid. Especially since they were so stupid about it and got caught. AT least at the end his brothers truly tried to help him. I want to know what the full story is that the cops found out.I almost gave the episode a 5 instead of 4 just for emotional power. Clearly this is a lot to setup and it's hard to know where and how to start. I'm intrigued so far. I think this drama has a serious chance to be EPIC. Though it also has a HUGE chance of flopping out. I remember Another Miss Oh. Great story and start, then it just went of the rails a bit. I have hope that the writer will do better this time around. Though office politic dramas rarely interest me. Yes, The Good Wife (US original) is proof it will work. Most writing is not up to that standard though. I'm also nervous how long Ji An will keep he secret from Dong Hoon about his wife, or how long in general. Why can't she divorce him now? All I truly know is that despite hope this drama has plot lines that can easily drag.

5.0/10 - Finding your step.

I think Junko is just suffering from severe burn out. That and a mean parent. Though I like her mindset to not blame her mom because as an adult she has so many option! Though I love the joke about the reverse harem. I've seen many screenshots in the feed about it. This episode is still a strong setup to introduce all three male love interests and establish where they stand in her life. Junko is pretty cool and it's nice to see her having fun! I think people just need a wake up call and I can get the burn out. She burned herself out and felt like her goals not being met left her dead. Her letter from 15 year old self clearly had expectations . . . maybe ones she never desired for herself, but she put so much weight on them they seemed like her own. Overall I really loved the building of the characters here. It's fun seeing her interact with Yuri's friends. Though the old woman with a bad back thing has gone too far! I don't run all the time, but I'm not gonna fall apart! She's in her 30s I get it. That's still prime living! Even for a woman. ;p

8/10 - I've never been that fond of "secret" relationships.

I've never been that fond of "secret" relationships. Despite all that I still enjoyed this episode. Kyung Suk is so understanding and to be quite honest I was waiting for this dramatic out burst. I mean first they have to be careful on the way to the lab. Then Mi Rae steps in to tell Soo Ah that Kyung Suk and her are actually dating. (Soo Ah handling that way too well!) Then after that the dramatic sneaky dinner that they don't get to enjoy because classmates show up. Completely hilarious events transpire. Then he tries to take her out and wear masks. To move it to her apartment, only to be rebuffed again because her parents are there. It's really funny, but Kyung Suk patients are amazing. He understands that Mi Rae needs to relaize that what they have is worth the gossip. Mi Rae also needs to understand that people constantly talk about Kyung Suk, maybe even more than when she was bullied. He's okay with it and can move on. Mi Rae will be more in the lime light, but I'm frustrated for Kyung Suk. She needs to get over it. Sneaking about is actually getting her more attention. Random note Mi Rae is my character soulmate! I always get the cheapest items on the menu as well. I figured she did that from the last time, but it's nice hearing it. I usually stick with water or bring my own drink as well! We do know more about Soo Ah. Her weight problems and her self doubts. Her plans are starting to unravel and more people are starting to catch on. I feel like there's still a big reveal waiting for her character though. I think she flew to close to the sun. Eun is very nice to not out her right away. She's still trying to get a feel for Soo Ah, maybe even help her. I also love that Kyung Suk and Mi Rae are a united front. She's aware of what Soo Ah is doing and she's smartened up. Though she's never been dumb. She just wanted to give Soo Ah the benefit of the doubt. I also love the comments about Kyung Suk being socially awkward and people are saying it to is face! It's great. The more everyone gets to know everyone stereotypes/idolizing stops. It's sad how much Kyung Suk's father has lost. He doesn't even know it. He comes to talk to his daughter about her channel and to take down the videos. Not even realizing that he's only proving his wife's point. Speaking of. Hye Seong's reaction to finding out Kyugn Suk and Mi Rae are dating is so wonderful! It's refreshing to see a mother happy about who her son is dating in dramaland, but their right that she's so down to earth. So refreshing. The picture thing is a very interesting place to go. I have a feeling that super quiet/awkward kid might be the one doing it. It's also gives us more insight to the type of crap Soo Ah deals with. While it might be hard to get upset for her. It's creepy to think that can happen. My ID is Gangnam Beauty is teasing me! I can't have proper skinship with Mi Rae so nervous about other's seeing. I get a beautiful back hug to end this episode, but I am dying for that kiss!!!!!
