I wanted something easy.

When I started up this epsidoe I needed something easy and required zero brain power. (That's the only reason I'd chose The K2 over Moon Lovers!) Sadly it delivered, with an extra helping of boredom.

At least the writer went with the whole "be famous to stay alive" thing that was hinted at in the first episode. Because that would be sloppy not to follow through with that plot thread.

However, while watching the montage of Anna and Je Ha's limited time together something besides just boredom struck me. My thought that Ji Chang Wook is probably not wanting to do anymore action dramas because of the script. After all he's putting such amazing effort into those scenes! The whole battle with Madam's evil elite henchman while Anna is going "public" was so awesome. Sadly Ji Chang Wook is putting soooooooo much effort into it and the writer/director are just feeding off it.

I know I shouldn't be so disappointed in the writing. By now I know that this is a very lazy script and heavy on the boring. Sadly it does bother me how popular this is. People are actually claiming that this is the "best drama ever". I know-I know. Still I can't help but shudder at the thought that this drama will upstage some of the better ones from this year. (The fact that sooooo many of the other poorily conceived and suffered through dramas upstage the good ones.)

That said I thought Je Ha tripping all over the roof was cute. Cool that Madam was all like "Anna has the knife" in regards to Je Ha's loyalty. (No one likes to lose their man candy.) Now let's just have Anna crying less. Please! It was a nice touch when she confided that she thought she killed her mother, but everywhere else the water works could have been cut. Let's explore the other emotions with out crying.

(The rooftop scene I was totally waiting for the cute kitten the entire time!)

Another fun ghost story!

First off I have to say the music for this show is super lively and fun. I found it hilarious that the opening music credits sounds so much like the Sherlock Holmes music with Robert Downey Jr. What really got me is that the opening during the hilarious thief/ghost chase scene was so good! Gets the blood pumping. I have a feeling the OST is going to be awesome. I didn't really like the sound affects as much, but I think it goes with the over the top style of the drama. So I'll probably get used to that.

"A woman's vengeance knows no bounds."

I love the mythology behind Korea and their ghost stories. They all seem to have a certain set of rules. Ghosts stay because they either have a grudge or were wrongfully killed. It seems to be the theme of drama shows to find out. Though it's usually wrongfully killed. The monk seems like an interesting fellow and obviously his fall from grace has something to do with Bong Pal.

I think it's hilarious that Kang Ki Young from Oh My Ghost is in another ghost story! As usual he's adorably insufferable!

To be honest the story and setup is nothing unique, but ghost stories are my drama addiction! It's comfort food for me right now and I was laughing. I love how strong Hyun Ji is! Boy does she kick butt, or more correctly she kicks Bong Pal's butt. ^_-

Man I really want to enjoy this as much as everyone else.

Man I really want to enjoy this as much as everyone else. People are even claiming they'd give up all dramas until 2017 to only watch this one. For me it's lovely to look at and all, I'm definitely obsessed with the OST. It's just the story is just a "meh".

Ji Eun Tak was even more puppy dog like and annoying. He kicks her out and she still comes back to his place to track him down. He ignores her and is basically playing games. Not to mention that she asks all the important questions, but he shuts her down. I don't care for the way Kim Shin treats her. Even if she was disappointed she pushes on, so I really like that about her. I get that Kim Shin is feeling really mixed up right now. He's wanted to die for so long, but now it's here and he really doesn't want to. Despite it all there is good enough to keep him alive. However, I don't think the writing is convincing me of Kim Shin and Ji Eun Tak as a couple. The talk of her not being able to date because he doesn't want her to made me cringe. He's not treating her right enough to be making those claims.

At least Ji Eun Tak made Kim Shin wait for her, and he did! That's progress. The whole thing with the "red carpet" and the peom was lovely. It helped to kind of make the feelings bloom, but I still need MORE. (****See bottom of review for the poem!****)

The bromance bits were a true treat! But I feel like there was so much wasted potential to advance the story between Wang Yeo and Sunny. There she is just waiting for him and dolling herself up incase he shows.

Ugh. Romance is not waiting around for someone.

I'm still interested enough in the story to stick to it. It's only 16 episodes and there won't be any "it's popular so let's drag it out" stuff going on. That's a big plus. The punishment for her aunt and cousins is pretty awesome, I kind of suspected something like that!!! Ha-ha! I just want the story to move forward! pacing! There are so many interesting parts and plots going on. Not to mention more needs to be done to really get the romance going.

Moments I loved were Kim Shin denying that flowers bloomed when he was happy and the whole drunken thing. Not to mention all of those guys trying to catch the end of the morning drama! Ha-ha.

I leave this review of my own mixed feelings with this awesome poem that Byul typed up in the discussions (saving me from having to pause and go to get it!):

"Mass is not proportional to volume. A girl as small as a violet...A girl who moves like a flower petal...is pulling me toward her with more force than her mass. Just then, like Newton's apple, I rolled toward her without stopping until I fell on her...with a thump. With a thump. My heart keeps bouncing between the sky and the ground. It was my first love."

Ah, it's so cute how the whole Team helped to try and impress Yao's parents! They really pulled together. Yao was thinking they should pull it back. Clearly her parents knew it was over the top. Only her mom needed to be won over, and I was right! She's hoping Cheng and Yao will become an item! She knows. I think she checked up on Chessman. He-he. Not cute is Sunflower AKA Jian Yang the Ex sending Yao all those gifts! Yuk! I'm glad that Yao finally got her livestream out of the way and bestie Jin Yang came to the rescue. At first I thought Cheng was being rude, but I think he just wanted to distract Yao from her worries. I do feel really bad for Jin Yang's boyfriend. Ouch. The drama of being challenged by someone straight up targeting Yao was interesting. Though it feels weird to make this whole big deal out of her getting killed and defeated. She had to take many losses to get to the top. I hope this doesn't turn into something weird. That her words aren't just talk and once she clears her head she can move on. It is hard to do, but to get as good as she is now she's had to taken hits. I know she doesn't want to disappoint her team, but . . . it happens! Another fun episode.

6.0/10 - Oh, dear.

So Yeon Seo has lost her memory. Apparently Archangel Hu can't give up on Kim Dan. Which means the Archangel has selfish human motives. Also. Angels aren't supposed to interact or have a hand in human lives. BUT!!!!! Kim Dan's whole mission has been about being in Yeon Seo's life and helping her fall in love. That makes no sense!!I'm so annoyed about this memory loss. First of all this means that Archangel Hu has meddled. She now doesn't remember her killer and so on. Not to mention I was promised a secrets reveal. All of my favorite drama romances have one important thing in common. The lead finds out about the other leads secret, no matter gender, and then they are still in love. Seeing that love grow with everything out on the table is were the real romance can begin. Sure there might be some minor secrets, but the real important stuff is out there. Ni Na is getting more time. So there is that. Overall this was such a let down. At least Kang Woo is on to Ru Na. I think even Kim Dan might be getting clued in. Though way more slowly.

Set her free!!!

Set her free! Ha-ha. I love the talk about her mom not even letting her hold hands with boys, and now basically telling her to hurry up and have sex. Free indeed. Not to mention that her secret is free now! We'll see how Gook Doo and Bong Soon both react. Will she run? Will he totally freak out.

Also, shouldn't the girlfriend have said she already broke things off with Gook Du? Seems a bit odd.

The importance of the blanket and the joke with it was priceless! Though did it rob them of smarts? And how long would a spell like that last? I mean sure you want to have sex, but you still need to go and work.

This show has been a total role reversal, but I like finally seeing Min Hyeok really show of his skill set. It was nice the company threats ended/solved. The end of Min Hyeok's trust in his brother was very obvious, but the scenes still packed a very emotional wallop.

Though my biggest complaint with Strong Woman Do Bong Soon is her super strength. If she wouldn't have figured it out at a young age she would have killed someone. How can she go from gently patting and comforting to suddenly totally bullet shooting stones when she's concentrating on being gentle? I get that this is a comedy, but that' just stupid. Ugh. There's laughs and then there's stupid plot holes of stupidity.

The whole bride stealing feels so out of place, especially considering it's such a huge focus point of the show. The cuts to it and the flow of the story seem very tacky. Like the idea and concept where tossed in randomly and they can't figure out how to quite make it fit.

Don't get me wrong I look forward to each episode and this drama really makes me laugh. Its just very odd. I also found out this was written by the same writer as "Marriage, Not Dating". I am up to episode 10 and I can say I think the writer has skills. So I'm wondering if the network tampered with the script because they wanted more?

Either way I'm enjoying it, things just feel oddly cut.

I feel a bit dirty after this episode.

"I don't want to be alone. Being alone . . . makes me feel empty."

This episode made me feel a bit dirty. I actually had to check everyone's age. (Especially Mugi. *cough*) I think this twisted tale goes even further. Brother called Akane Hana when she tripped. Not to mention he didn't make a move on Akane until she confessed to being jealous of Hanabi. Ooooo, Brother likes Hana. He just won't go there.

Which means Hanabi's twisted plan just might work. Eccachan, looks like you're gonna be left in the dust. Poor Mugi as well. Hanabi's twisted mind doesn't actually care about loneliness and these people. She cares about Akane and how "she's stealing everything from her". She is only doing this because of Akane. Maybe Akane and Hanabi should hook up. ^_-

I have a feeling this is going to get so twisted fast. This also makes me wonder if Hanabi will target more than Mugi and Brother. If she'll target the student Akane was having a late night with? How twisted is this going to go. Holy cow I'm consumed! I can't wait for it to all go up in flames.

Definitely will be continuing this drama!

So here I am at the fated 4 episode and I will definitely will be continuing this drama! The storytelling has really come together here. Though I feel like if they push the back and forth timelines too much further the show will either become A) Too Convoluted B) Confusing. Or simple both. Too much jumping around messes with the impact.

Some big reveals here and Bong Hee may have gotten off that island, but there's some scarier stuff that might go down on land.

This opens up some huge questions. Such as how can anyone judge someone on their spotty amnesia mind? Really? I say I'm gonna kill someone everyday, or that I've just murdered someone. Context. Why was no one on the island when they visited it? Why did they leave so fast? Are others looking for clues?

Is her memory becoming more clear as they change their clothes on the island? Who else may have survived the crash? On and on. I love the story that is being built. Though I don't like how Bong Hee thinks she needs to make herself useful, she is the only one with the skills to truly survive. At least that we've seen. Know ones worth.

I'm very curious about so many of the characters. Tae Ho maybe an intense asshole (only other person able to catch a meal) and the murder may have been a mercy kill. I feel like So Hee is worried about Bong Hee. They could become good friends. There's clearly lots of missing memory there. A big reveal is coming.

The bigger question is where is everyone from the island!?

Okay, so I love the humor here! Though I do feel like many stupid things are done. Such as still pretty much leaving your food unprotected!!

Sidenote: while I hate the teasing of killing off character, as I fan I'm happy that character isn't dead! Phew. But that makes me wonder how far the writers are going to go? Make it intense. That's all I ask!

The one thing this drama is definitely doing right is the BROMANCE! >_<

The one thing this drama is definitely doing right is the BROMANCE! >_< Holy cow Wang Yeo and Kim Shin are great characters together. From saving Ji Eun Tak and talking telepathically together about why she wasn't thanking them, to talking about whether the person Kim Shin has a grudge against was reincarnated! (Loved that whole "if he was reincarnated as a girl I'll be happy" and his little dance! The power of k-pop. I bet he was thinking: "If you are a girl idol you're being punished enough. Dance monkey, dance!")

One drama friend pointed out some reasons why Ji Eun Tak and Kim Shin weren't working romantically for her, and it clicked for me too! So the whole second episode where Ji Eun Tak is running around Canada Kim Shin is basically babysitting. Not to mention that, while totally adorable, Ji Eun Tak is the puppy dog girl. She moons over him with big eyes, runs around in circles around him and when he disappears she must find him and wait! She loves/likes him no matter what he does. Heck this episode he even petted her. (He said patted, I say petted.) While I love the actress playing Ji Eun Tak I feel like the character is a bunch of stereotypes smashed together at this point.

Just like the love story she's not developed beyond the idea. At this point there isn't enough between them to convince me of their intense feelings. It creeps me out at this stage and I really want them to grow as a couple so that I can be involved. It doesn't help that I feel like there's gonna be a time jump soon. I feel it looming.

Another thing. What is with the flashback and endless staring scenes? Okay, so I get the staring scenes are "art pieces". All of them make lovely backgrounds. The flashbacks of things that just happened are so sloppy! The story is compelling don't waste it.

I also don't like that she caved just to keep him there. *sighs*

There's many promising aspects here, but I want the romance to hit home. Not be just a pretty collaboration of images. That's not to say some of the dialogue between them wasn't better this episode.

Another thing is I'm very interested in Yoo Deok Hwa involvement. So when he took the book was it only because he was following Kim Shin's orders to find out everything about Ji Eun Tak? Why was his timing so perfect to make her pay for it? Is he working for the old/young woman. (Who I found out is the Goddes of Birth?) I found Sunny and Wang Yeo's meeting interesting, but then not fully explored. (Cut down the flashbacks and wasted pacing.) The old woman who now is young, is she like a fate? She's not a goblin, I'm so curious. (Edit: So it says the old woman is the Goddess of Birth. Hmmmmm. Very interesting.)

I enjoyed seeing a nice person waiting for Wang Yeo's soul retrieval. Don't get me wrong that guy shouldn't have died! It must of been heartening for Wang Yeo to see someone who only cared about others die/a good soul. The man's reaction to finding out that he had died, but had saved a life was very heart warming.

At least there's a lot of promising aspects and I truly love the bromance. The OST is blowing my mind. I'm obsessed with it. I hope the writing can improve and totally sweep my mind away.

(On a side note I could totally live with seeing Kim Shin doing some more k-pop dancing. Ha-ha.)

CHANYEOL keeps delivering amazing OST this year!

Ha-ha!! The hunk was a Canadain ghost!! He was good looking though. ^_-

Two things about this drama are very clear. Firstly I'm already obsessed with the OST! I need it. Secondly this is a visual master piece and treat for the eyes. So stunning. Oh, wow! Takes my breath away.

However. Pretty scenes do not equal character development, plot, or a story. So while it was very pretty to look at some of the slow motion shots that utilized rain, dandelion seeds, scenery, and of course the stunning visual of our fabulous cast I think they need to make it a bit more cleaner. I thought this episode did a better job of not quite over doing it like the last episode. Though I think they can still to key moments without dragging it out.

So far I really like where the plot is going. Though at this point I'm not quite there with Kim Shin and Ji Eun Tak. It's a bit rushed and forced. However, the bromance is on point. Wang Yeo and Kim Shin have serious chemistry and they've had better story lines--that aren't rushed--to develop their connections.

My biggest issue is that Ji Eun Tak is basing her confessions of love and why she will marry him because she's heard from ghosts that she is the Goblin's Bride. She tells this guy she love him and they'll marry, but finally goes out to ask about what a Goblin is now. Odd. While I enjoy Kim Shin getting jealous over another guy she finds attractive and wants to cool the next time she "summons" him I find it forced. Don't tell me she loves him! Create a story in which I can't deny their feelings. Please!

Okay, so what is up with Yoo Deok Hwa? (The nephew.) Pretty sure that was him that picked up the goblin book after Ji Eun. Unless someone else was wearing the exact jacket. What games is he playing. I think he setup some things. Or I'm just way reading into things.

Yoo In Na has entered! Yeah! I honestly thought she was going to be some magical being too. I like this blasé human that she is. Oh, I can totally see their being chemistry between Kim Sun and Wang Yeo. I can't wait for them to meet.

The cliffhanger has so much promise as Wang Yeo and Kim Shin are teaming up! Not to mention that the previews show Wang Yeo falling victim to Ji Eun's sunny charms.

As lovely as Goblin has been to look at I hope that the plot will step it up even more. It's on the cusp of total drama awesomeness for me and I really want Goblin to hit it's full potential.

(Oh, and I have to do some research on Goblins in Korean culture! Not to mention that song!? Is it a nursery rhyme or something?)

Fighting!

I appreciate that Wei Wei got to fight her own battles and kicked that sexist meanies but!

There wasn't much KO and Hao Mei moments. I really-really-really want to see more of them.

However, I was gifted an early kiss! Wei Wei still hasn't livened up. However, a dream sequence oddly kicked in. Judging from that I hope I gets some real kiss scenes please.

Xiao Nai's expressions and actions are so cute this episode!! Yang Yang is a pretty awesome actor, I like the subtle ways he makes Xiao Nai warm up.

I also enjoy that Xiao Nai isn't bothered by expressing his feelings for Wei Wie. He's fine with accidental couple outfits and doesn't mind PDA. Poor shy Wei Wie.

Oh, and Er Xi is back!!! Yeah!

Oh my! Who knew online gaming could be such a charming way to woo your lady? Ha-ha.

That said some of the immediate flashbacks were annoying. We know who they're thinking of and WHY. Just got done watching it this episode!

So Xiao Nai does know who Wei Wei is. Clever guy! He's so sly about pursuing her. I love how they haven't quite come face to face yet.

Wei Wei's friend and Cao Guang are going to make an excellent couple. Until then I look forward to watching them fight. ^_-

How to make a eunuch: sharp knives and alcohol!

This is a decent start. I enjoyed that the writers kind of committed to making us wonder if Ra On really was a girl. Who knew the whole becoming an eunuch could be so funny in all its horrific glory. *shivers* But it was so hilarious I'm still laughing about it.

Interesting introductions to all three men. I am totally picking up on Sungkyunkwan Scandal vibes. Which is okay at this point. The writers will have time to develop everyone. I will say Park Bo Gum makes a very lovely prince. Well lovely looking . . .

This episode was pretty much fun with small hints of the bigger plots. The King is afraid and letting someone else rule for him. Ra On's male "guardian" apparently has some kind of checkered past.

Let's see how Ra On handles becoming the puppy! And I do believe the Crown Princess is currently wearing a fat suit . . . okay. I feel a makeover scene coming on at some point in the drama. The prince would have no idea what a plane is, so I'm going to say that this drama will not be one of those 100% accurate ones. Which is fine. This is gonna be a fun period drama.

What?! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! No. ;_;

Upon finishing this episode I immediately jumped up started running in a circle with my arms frantically flailing in the air. As I desperately repeated "Please no! Please-no-no-no!" over and over. What a cruel cliffhanger. All I can do is be thankful that there's another episode coming and no long week wait in between. Unless the next episode wants to be cruel . . .

That said this is a great setup episode. It's working hard to give us a feel for all the characters and where they stand. The hospital politics are here, but they're not the main focus and they're just interesting enough. This cast really has so much chemistry that I can see all the ship/couple options! Doctor Crush indeed.

"I'm not going to die because of a man's love like Mom did." ~Hye Jung

This episode is a great setup for showing that despite Hye Jung having bettered her life and becoming a doctor, she still has scars. Scars that have definitely ruined her views of family and love. However, I think it's also given her great insight on who is a real friend and family to her. Ji Hong is going to have his work cut out for him.

I loved Hye Jung and Soo Chul together this episode! The huge build up to them meeting. (For those following my reviews that would be the hot motorcycle man!) They really have great chemistry, but I'm satisfied with were they're going together . . . well you know.

Seo Woo is turning out to be a very compelling character. I felt heart broken last episode when she was trying to save that patient. It's interesting watching her react to everything this episode. Though I don't think she realizes she she's not some nice person who's been walked all over. She's been the bully who just can't take no. I'm very interested in who will end up with her, so far I don't think any of the current cast can handle her. (A small part of me thought Soo Chul could.)

I love the role reversal here is Hye Jung pulls Yoon Do out of the way! You know the standard move the guys in drama always do, and I believe Ji Hong has already done it for Hye Jung. Yoon Do is so cute and adorable, even Ji Hong admits it. Honestly I can't even help myself from cheering Yoon Do on in pursuing Hye Jung.

Great episode!! I'm loving the entire cast here. I'm curious as to how things will go with Hye Jung's legal family. Not to mention all the other plots going. It's a great feeling. Most of all I need the next episode now! So be warned guys, make sure you have time to start up the next episode right after.

(Hye Jung and Soon Hee WOMANCE is driving me crazy! They're so cute together! I really do love every moment.)

Picks up right where we left off!

Picks up right where we left off. I would hope that if it's an accident and you dragged the person out that you were supposed to be killing the cops would wonder about a few things. Like how did an unconscious person get herself out of a burning building, or see anything after she was being "murdered"? Also, I had no idea that if you're older than 14 in Korea you can be tried as an adult and actually go to hard core prison? Wow. (I really feel like I need to know more about Korean law here!)

This is the crying episode. I think maybe it annoyed me because I have a lot of memories of Park Shin Hye crying a pretty good amount in whatever drama she's in. Though this episode deserved those tears. It went the dramatic and sad way I feared it would. (Though it's interesting that they'd hint that it wasn't just the way something like that could go, but an actual wrong doing? Very interesting to take it that way.) At the very least I hope Soon Hee will come back into Hye Jung's life. I love a good BFF relationship in any story. Especially girl BFFs as dramaland always seems to be in short supply of them.

Also, I have to note after seeing the ER fight scene again how amazing Park Shin is doing in her role of Hye Jung. I read she's doing all of her stunts for her movie, and it certainly shows in the quality of the scenes. She's really going the distance for this role.

I love seeing that Ji Hong's emotions are so deep. I think Hye Jung thought of him as a friend, though I think she realizes that she could easily feel more. I'm still behind the teacher/student thing being bad, so I look forward to them both being adults when the romance picks up. Which is a good thing as the "13 Year Later" comes to an end at this episode. Teasing us just enough before a dramatic end! Man I really want to know which characters are going to be present in the present!!

Random thought: I haven't said anything about it before. However, I can't stay silent any longer. That puppy is so adorable. I want to puppy nab it.
