Through the Storm: Wei Ruolai’s Riveting Tale in ‘War of Faith"
The pacing of this series is praiseworthy; it maintains a swift tempo without sacrificing the complexity of the story. Each episode builds upon the previous one, creating an engaging tapestry of events that leaves viewers eagerly awaiting the next twist. The narrative never drags, ensuring that the audience's curiosity is consistently sparked.Wang Yibo's portrayal of Wei Ruolai is a highlight of the series. His delicate performance accurately captures the multifaceted nature of his character. From the evident disappointment and heartbreak felt during his rejection at the central bank to the raw, unfiltered grief displayed at the loss of his brother, Wang Yibo's range is fully showcased. He conveys the innocence of a newcomer in the political maze, contrasting with the depth of his sorrow, demonstrating his strong acting skills.
The series excels in humanizing the political narrative through its characters. Wang Yibo's Wei Ruolai is not merely a pawn in the grand scheme of espionage and finance; he is a credible figure whose personal growth and emotional journey are as central to the story as the broader historical context. His interactions with other characters, especially with senior advisor Shen Tu Nan and the mysterious Shen Jin Zhen, add layers of complexity to his role.
I must add that Wang Yibo’s portrayal of Wei Ruolai is truly exceptional. We can observe how much the character has evolved from the beginning of the drama until now. The progression is remarkable!

Cutest C-costumed Drama!
This one of the cutest Chinese Custome Drama-Romcom I've ever watched!! The script and scenarios were smartly written. That scene on Pastry Kiss on episode 8 definitely the best one!! The storyline is light and very good stress relief in this such depressing time with pandemic and all of ther depressing events.. Good to have something as refreshing as this drama!I can't stop laughing at hilarious scenes on every episode except for episode 18, 19 on which the 2 main leads conflicts are in peak. I can't stand the heart breaking scenes on this two episodes.
Zhao Lu Si and Deng Yu Xi acting are superb here!! I also love 'Pei Heng'! Good job, Sheng Yi Hao!
Can we have another drama which starring Zhao Lu Si and Sheng Yu Hao as the main leada in the future please? ?

Hidden Blade: A Visually Stunning Noir Masterpiece with Superb Acting and Direction
Director Cheng Er's Hidden Blade is a cinematic gem that captures the essence of Chinese noir cinema with remarkable precision. Set against the backdrop of a small Chinese town during the 1930s, the film tells the story of Mr. Ye (Wang Yibo), a skilled martial artist who finds himself caught in a web of political intrigue and personal turmoil. One of the most striking aspects of this film is the visual style employed by Cheng Er. Every shot is composed with exquisite care and attention to detail, evoking the moody and melancholic atmosphere of classic film noir. The use of muted colors, soft lighting, and long takes all contribute to the film's overall aesthetic, creating a sense of timelessness that draws the viewer into the story.
The acting in Hidden Blade is equally impressive. Wang Yibo gives a standout performance as Mr. Ye, conveying both the character's physical prowess and emotional depth with remarkable skill. His interactions with the other characters are nuanced and complex, bringing a sense of authenticity to the film's intricate web of relationships.
The fight scenes in Hidden Blade are expertly choreographed and executed, with a realism and brutality that is both thrilling and visceral. The final confrontation between Mr. Ye and Watanabe (Mori Hiroyuki) is a masterclass in cinematic combat, showcasing the talents of both the actors and the fight choreographers.
While some viewers may find the film's non-linear timeline confusing, Cheng Er's direction is so deftly handled that the story flows seamlessly from one scene to the next. The film's pace is deliberate but never slow, building to a satisfying and emotionally resonant climax.
In the end, Hidden Blade is a film that demands to be savored and appreciated. It is a beautiful and haunting work of cinema that will stay with you long after the credits have rolled. If you are a fan of noir or historical films, this is a must-see movie that showcases the best of both genres.

Watched this because of Lanwangji
This drama is bare able only because of Lan Wangji. The effect was so awful. Totally low budget drama. Skipped all scenes without Lan Zhan, to be honest. The first scene when he walked down the mountain was so memorable, angelic and ethereal. The soundtracks were good. Prefer the story of Heaven Official Blessings.

Need more of this kind of anti hero dramas
I love this drama because it is quite different from other K-dramas which the main character, Justicia/ Kang Bitna is an anti hero. The storyline is very interesting and refreshing although it is still predictable. Park Shin Hye acting is good and well spotted. However, some of the actors who played as villains were very cringey and overacting, very hard to watch.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
The best drama series of 2020
The production team seriously has done a very good job in adapting the novel into this drama series. Especially the casting team. They are geniuses! Every actors fit into their roles perfectly. I love the chemistry between Zhao Liying and Wang Yibo ♡ Tbh, I was not a big fan of Zhao Liying (but I like her) at the past. But she is super fantastic on this series. Now I'm a big fan! ♡Wang Yibo, I always love him. On Legend of Fei, his acting is superb! I got carried away with the emotions that he portrays. When Xie Yun cried, I cried too. That is how good his acting is!! The action scenes are amazing. They are so natural. I can predict that I'm gonna keep rewatching this drama series again and again when it has completed later!! One of the epic drama series of the century.
The OST - my gosh!! We can know that they prepared it well. I like the opening and the ending soundtracks. They represent the story so well.
I love Xi Wei sung by Wang Yibo very much. I can feel Xie Yun love and longing for Zhou Fei on the song. Perfect ♡
