Jung Suk Won and Baek Ji Young
As most of you know Jung Suk Won and Baek Ji Young were recently married in June. They were also expecting a baby. Unfortunately Baek Ji Young has had a miscarriage. As you can see from the picture above Jung Suk Won looks sad. He had his first public appearance since the miscarriage at the Museum Wedding Hall in Yongsangu, Seoul to attend a press conference for his film, N.L.L.-Battle of Yeonpyeong which will premiere later this year.
Jung Suk Won said this concerning the miscarriage, “I am thankful that many have given encouraging words. Although I am thankful for the support, I can’t speak on behalf of my wife. That concerns our personal matters so I have nothing more to say.”
Baek Ji Young is taking about three months off for rest and is staying at home with family and friends.
It is just so sad. I know that there are drama fans out there that can relate to this kind of situation and send their love to this beautiful couple. Hopefully when the physical and emotional pain decreases some, they may be able to try again.
Kim Jae Won Marries
I was waiting to write this article hoping for a picture of Kim Jae Won’s non-celebrity wife from the wedding pictures. There is no such luck. I couldn't even find her name. Although there are no pictures of her, she is said to be beautiful. He is being very protective of her and keeping her out of the media. I can’t say that I blame him. When he announced his wedding he said, “She’s innocent, reserved, has many wonderful feminine qualities and is understanding about the nature of my job.” Apparently they are childhood friends that started dating last October. “My wife is my best friend and without even trying we always seem to think in a similar way. That is why she is the person I want to spend my life with. Even if we face difficulties in the future, I know she will be caring and considerate,” said Kim Jae Won.
Their wedding was held in Gangnam district with 700 guests that included many actors with whom he served in the army. Lee Dong Wook emceed the first part of the ceremony while comedian, Yang Se Yung emceed the second part. It was officiated by a minister of his church. Other attending actors included Ji Sung, Jung Joon Ho, Kim Min Jong, and Park Eun Hye. Hwang Jung Eum caught the bouquet.
They won’t be going on a honeymoon at the moment because Kim Jae Won is shooting Scandal: A Shocking and Wrongful Incident. Also, his wife is three months pregnant.
Lee Byung Hun And Lee Min Jung
Lee Byung Hun and Lee Min Jung will be tying the knot on August 10th. They have known each other for seven years. When they first met through acquaintances, Byung Hun was already a veteran actor while Min Jung was just starting out. Although they were happy, they broke apart due to their professions causing schedule conflicts. Five years later they met again when Min Jung was getting recognition for her roles in SBS's Smile, You and KBS’s Boys Before Flowers at an award ceremony. Byung Hun had just finished filming G.I.Joe 2. They began to date again because they realized they still care for each other. Evidently they are dating globally including the US and Japan. Anyway, the paparazzi saw Min Jung entering Byung Hun’s families home so they decided to announce their wedding. I think the paparazzi sped up the announcement. This is the part that I find amusing. Min Jung said, “We decided to make the wedding as simple and small as possible.” However, the wedding planner said that there will be about 1200 guests and it is $100 a plate. The wedding will be held in a hotel large enough for that many guests and with the security that will be necessary for their status. I guess that may be simple and small for star standards.
