Amazing show - Lovely Runner
This show was amazing, it was a roller coaster ride waiting for the episodes to be released. Very well written story, finally was satisfied to witness the happy ending. The acting of all the actors in this show was amazing.We fans were so addicted to this series that we have an ongoing watch party along with a chatroom wherein we discussed the different scenarios and timetravels. I am pretty sure to re-watch this series a number of times.
The authenticity of the show can be seen with the amount of effort that was put in the making of this show like the ML actually singing the song for the series and also training for swimming to prove his commitment to this series.
I truly wish the stars of this show get the recognition, fame and success which they deserve.

One of the best RomCom ever in the history
From the very first episode this drama will Hook you up. Story is not that new but the way they have told the story is so good. Ost perfect. Cast perfect. Visuals perfect. Romance perfect. Chemistry perfect. So drama is perfect. You can say that I'm just addicted to this drama at this point that every morning I wake up I come to this mdl page to check reviews and ratings. My Lovely Ryu Sun Jae and Im Sol
I have never written reviews of any kind. I've just read reviews and I swear I'm not those who tell that this is their first review for ppl to read their review. This is actually my first review and yes, I am writing this because its been so long since a kdrama made my heart throb so hard. I experienced all kinds of emotions while watching Lovely Runner. The last time I felt this was like 2 years back or something when I just started watching kdramas like Hwarang, Itaewon Class and Familiar Wife. Recent dramas like King The Land, Doctor Slump was just all copy paste of the same storyline. Have u ever watched masterpiece dramas like Secret (Ji Sung), True Beauty, Kill me Heal me (YESS I'M A JI SUNG FAN). These dramas are examples on how to make a perfect drama. Lovely Runner too adds to this list as it brought me solace during my tough times. I swear I'm still crying right now while writing this as I think about those moments which brought me peace during my exam stress. I finished watching the 16th episode today, 1 hour back and I am swooning with their osts right now. This drama was perfect with perfect visuals and nostalgic osts (N.Flying - Star, Eclipse - You & I, Eclipse - Sudden Shower, Deundeun Man - Super Ultra Man, UMJI (엄지) - May I Love You, Jong Ho – A Day, Jaeyeon (재연) – Monologue, 10 cm - Spring Snow, Minnie - Like a dream). Byeon Woo Seok and Kim Hye Soo were perfect for this drama and they had such amazing names Ryu Sun Jae (sounds 🔥) and Im Sol (omg its sooooooooo cute). Its my first time seeing Byeon Woo Seok like this. I have seen him in different dramas before like in Record of Youth. Though I never remembered him until I checked through his drama list determined to find out where I've seen him because his face was a common face in different dramas as a support role. Actors like Kim Min Gi, Hwang Min Hyun, Kang Ki Young, N (VIXX) were ppl I knew were bound to success. But I actually never expected Byeon Woo Seok ever in a role like this and he's actually fucking handsome (u gotta watch this one) . Btw talking about Hwang Min Hyun, Byeon Woo Seok resembled Hwang Min Hyun a lot in the drama. At first when I saw Lovely Runner's trailer (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgSynGkuo0k), I almost vomited (not literally) from the cringe scenes where she fangirls him. But then this drama after 2-3 weeks was all over my insta feed. So I thought of giving this a watch, trust me apart from some cringe scenes this drama was the best. I jumped, screamed, cried, laughed. When I just read about Byeon Woo Seok's hard works and struggles for this drama and his comment on his sudden success, I became more proud of him. Feeling Nostalgic?
This drama embodies everything I love about K-dramas. The characters and storyline are captivating, and the main leads delivered outstanding performances. The male lead convincingly portrayed his deep, unwavering love for Im Sol, making his emotions feel real and heartfelt. The second lead was charming and had just enough screen time to avoid the dreaded 'second lead syndrome' (where the second lead seems more deserving of the female lead than the first).However, I was frustrated with the writers at times. Our female lead had some frustrating dialogue, which I attribute more to the script than to her acting. Despite this, would I watch it again? Absolutely.

Lovely runner has become one of my favourite kdrama of all time . Sunjae and imsol has one of the best chemistry i have ever seen in a kdrama series❣️ and i really love all the ost in the series. my personal fav is sudden showers, 10cm spring snow and like a dream.

Cute watch, angsty but not the best in the crime part
I am some one that drops dramas (especially romcoms) once it gets boring, pretty easily. But i did not drop this, and that itself says a lot about this drama.Just finished. I personally liked it. There are flaws but not enough to make me drop it. Maybe i liked it cause this was my comeback drama after i didn't watch any new dramas for almost a year.
The crime part did not really felt like it fit in the story. The characters especially ml and fl could have had a depth, it felt like fl and ml's entire life revolved around each others. Fl was disable and time travelled back when did not have disability, this could have been a good opportunity for her to try going in depth about enjoying her life with the working legs she had but instead she went after ml. Same with ml, we could have gone in depth about his passion for swimming, he literally almost got to join the olympics for god's sake! but no. he just gave up and went after his crush. The killer didn't made me feel menacing because we don't even go in depth about the killer (what he does, how he does this, what was his life before, how did he started killing etc.
But all that said , the acting was good. No one else can act like Im sol other than kim hye yoon. Same with byeon woo seok as sun jae. Their romance was too sweet to not do "awww" especially with the ost.
THE OSTs ! for some reason Spring snow by 10CM makes me cry in a good way? every time even if the song is cute idk why. same for Like a dream by MINNE and A day by Jongho from ateez's vocals. 10/10! Also Byeon Woo Seok is a great singer.
why did the killer just died? They killed him off after all that in the first 5 minutes of the final ep....makes no sense. He is the main villain and he just got hit and died? Could have done better in that.
good watch ,made me cry in the end, will only rewatch for nostalgia that's it.

A Perfect Guide to a Rom Com done so well and right!
I went into this drama blind... And I am coming out of this drama with so much love in my heart for it!I never thought I would give this drama a 10/10, but here I am giving this one a perfect 10 because this drama deserves it all.. the praise, the rave reviews, the mad obsession and being the talk of the time from start to the finish line.
As always, I watch the first two episodes of every drama before deciding if I want to continue or drop it. First episode went well and I thought ok, this would be a nice rom com, but then episode 2 came and that ending rolled around and there I was... seeing the twist, the yearning, the innocent love and thinking to myself, this could easily be one of my fav dramas if things go well.
I am always skeptical about dramas once they reach around ep 8, since I have seen so many dramas go downhill during the second half and there I was holding my breath and trying not to jinx this drama with my outpouring love for Sun Jae.
Oh dear Sun Jae.... If I start talking about you, then I would get distracted and sound like a broken record, confessing my unrequited love for a fictional character over and over again. The sweetest cutest greenest flag to ever grace on a silver screen. Sun Jae... setting standards miles ahead that from now on, I am gonna compare every rom com lead with my dearest Sun Jae and see if they will ever come close... which I doubt. I don't think there would be a character that could out rival this.
Ahh... he got my whole heart and I think I love this drama mainly because of Ryu Sun Jae. Ok, half bcoz of him but the other half bcoz well this drama was written and directed. There was never a dull moment. This drama made me laugh in every single episode. And episode 8 was my favorite since I laughed the most during that one.
All in all... this drama was heavy at places but then balanced it out on the next and maintained what it does best. Comedy and Romance... and a lil mix of fantasy and this one is the perfect guide for anyone who is thinking of making a rom com in the future.
Ep 16 of this drama was what I hoped Queen of Tears would have had been. This drama did the finale episode so well that it never made me feel like there was any filler scenes, like we find in other dramas especially in the last episode.
I am in a sugar coma... after the finale... and I want to profess my love to my favorite character ever... Sun Jae yah... I love you!!!!!

A difficult birth?
Maybe this series suffers from the difficult birth it had, with a slow start in production. I think that its origin as a webtoon does show in the characterisation of the lead actors and the way in which the dialogue has a "comic book" quality. It did take me a while to get used to that but it the end it doesn't seem to matter.The two lead actors, Byeon Woo-seok and Kim Hye-yoon quite simply acted their socks off and all the cast were directed to blend in together admirably. I did struggle a bit with the time slipping which was a necessary part of the story but as an older citizen, I just accepted that I didn't need to know what date it was in every scene and just sit back and enjoy it.
My family has been touched by suicide, related to that of Korean pop idols and I wanted to let your cast and production team know that the storyline is all good as far as I am concerned. Conversations about suicide are always helpful and are not disrespectful.

My favorite Kdrama of 2024 and maybe ever
So delightful! Great mix of romance, comedy, angst. I had all the emotions watching and had such a hard time waiting for new episodes every week. I actually watched previous episodes every week to get me through the painful waiting! The FL is wonderful - even things I may have found cringe in other dramas - she pulls off with a surplus of charm and talent. The ML pulls off his best performance to-date and I was very impressed with his comedic timing and eye acting. The chemistry between the leads is no joke - best I've seen. I was giggling and crying every episode. It is very rare for me to love a kdrama the whole way through but it finally happened with this one! Missing it a lot now.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
SolJae is the best ever
Now this I'll add this as my one of my favorite series ever. The story, the character, music and all was perfect. I want to thank the writer in this series your so so so superb ever. Every episode were not predicted every episode I'm was crying but thank you because there had a happy ending. From now on I don't know how to move on every time I heard the song (sonaki) I'm crying again. And I want to thank every character superb every character was fitted on it.
