The difference is that uncontrollably fond is melo, sad and tragic , lovely runner is cute and time travelling but also sad and some type of tragic.

They are similar in the fact that they are time travel dramas that utilize a watch as the trigger for time travel. Many more similarities but watching "The Light in Your Eyes" is the key to figuring that out.
