O quão difícil vão ser meus dias pelo resto do ano sem toda segunda feira poder ver esses dois, ano passado quando a serie estreou eu estava muito feliz, sou muito suspeito pra escrever uma review sobre porque sou fã demais dos dois. Essa serie é única, foge muito do que é um bl convencional, fico muito feliz pelo fato dos bls estarem evoluindo e saindo da formula de sempre ( hetero que não é tão hetero que se apaixona por um gay, ou colegial, ou aquela chatisse imensa que é um corre atrás do outro a serie toda pra no final ficarem juntos). A historia e o roteiro da serie é muito bem trabalhado e bem escritos, é extremamente interessante e é impossível assistir um ep e dropar. a execução não tem nem falhas, todos os atores desde do main role até os figurantes são extremamente bons, atuaram super bem, a forma como os casais foram desenvolvidos e até um ultimo casal que ficou em evidencia foi bem divertida e gostosa de se assistir, mais uma vez o max e o tul entregando uma aula de química e mostrando como se deve atuar em uma drama yaoi. A historia trata um assunto que eu acho que deveria ser abordado com mais frequência que é o trafico de pessoas, de mulheres menores de idades, eu acho que é um assunto que deve ser mais ainda abordado. O casal secundário é fofo demais e mesmo não tendo uma interação maior como beijos, eles foram muito bons! a ost é boa.... não é uma das melhores e nem conseguiu ser tão boa quanto a trama mas com certeza é algo a se deixar passar. Em geral é uma serie incrivel, max e tul como sempre deram um show de química e atuação. Espero vê-los em outras series no futuro, eu com certeza vou reassistir em algum momento e é isso.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
Gostei do estilo mais adulto e criminal, com muitos mistérios, segredos e cenas eletrizantes. Mostrando a feiura humana e sua insaciável busca de poder a qualquer meio. Toda parte da autópsia e das cenas de crime são bem trabalhadas, mas às vezes pecava em detalhes, nada que estragasse o clima.
O romance acontece em segundo plano e de forma gradual, talvez por a cronologia não ser tão rápida e nem aqui escapa do clichê ter se encontrado uma vez na juventude e morar juntos, mesmo assim não destoando do estilo.
No começo fiquei muito curiosa sobre quem era o assassino, mas com o tempo o envolvimento do doutor Bun e Tun e até mesmo a corrupção nas várias esferas, principalmente policia, me fez desfocar. Isso para mim é algo raro, mas não significa que se perdeu, ao contrário, só acrescentou. Geralmente não curto romance em investigativos, mas aqui ficou perfeito. Max e Tul tem uma boa química, isso é inegável.
A revelação final seria uma grande surpresa se não fosse por uma página colocar spoiler sem aviso e infelizmente acabei vendo, porém segui até o fim para entender a “causa da morte”, claro que sem este spoiler teria aproveitado melhor, mas mesmo assim foi redondo até o fim. O tempo todo me perguntava como fechariam o final, mas foi concluído com maestria.
Aliás este final, quase mata Bun do coração, eu amei, foi realista e também doce. Foi bom ter um BL com uma temática diferente, espero que haja mais ainda no futuro e com certeza espero um dia consegui ler o livro.

BL com história original
Quando você começar a se interessar pelos BLs tailandeses, logo nota que existe um padrão nas histórias e que eles tendem a manter os casais por várias outras séries, é quase como um casamento, rs. Porém esse modelo fica um pouco cansativo depois que você já viu muito conteúdo. É aí que Manner of Death se diferencia.A série tem uma história original, a trama gira em torno de um suposto suicídio, um médico e um professor. A cada episódio uma peça do quebra-cabeças aparece e quando você acha que conseguiu completar a trama sofre uma reviravolta. Em meio a esse ambiente de traições, suspeitas e intrigas, tem o romance ardente entre os personagens principais. O Max e o Tul já atuaram juntos em outras séries e possuem uma ótima química, mas em Manner of Death eles estão perfeitos.
Outro ponto interessante dessa série é que ela se passa no interior, então o cenário é bem diferente e a fotografia está muito bem feita.
Eu recomendo essa série para quem gosta de histórias policiais e suspense, quem quer sair dos clichês de estudantes universitários e partir para temas mais adultos. Manner of Death está entre meus BLs tailandeses prediletos! Saia da mesmice e assista que vale a pena!

Que show de bl
Simplesmente perfeito!! A história, atuação, direção tudooo tá perfeito.Adorei demais o enredo, como tudo foi abordado, os plot twists tudo incrível. A história é muito interessante, a gente tenta resolver o caso junto com os personagens e vai descobrindo as coisas junto com eles, fazendo com que a experiência de assistir fique muito mais interessante e emocionante.
A atuação dos personagens é perfeita! O casal principal da um show de química, meus amigos eu passava mal nas cenas dos primeiros eps. Todos os outros personagens tbm atuaram super bem, interpretaram perfeitamente os seus papeis! Não conseguia não desconfiar de todo mundo. Inclusive amei de mais a dupla dinâmica que foi aqueles adolescentes, muito fofooos.
Por fim, não tenho palavras pra descrever, amei muuuuitoooo já tá entre os favoritos. Esse dorama tem de tudo, romance, química, ação, suspense e o jeito que abordaram tudo foi perfeito. Recomendo demais!!!

Se chorei ou se sorri, o importante é que emoções eu vivi
Há tempos que Manner of Death estava na minha lista, mas sempre acabava deixando para depois. Um belo dia resolvi assistir bem aleatoriamente em uma madrugada, e o resultado foi que fiquei extasiada com a história. Tanto, que a maratonei em cerca de 3 dias (o lado bom de ver dramas que já foram concluídos haha).Apesar de eu não ter costume de assistir histórias de investigação, essa me chamou atenção por motivos bem simples: é um BL; o enredo parecia intrigante. Primeiramente, até o momento não assisti tantos bl's, mas a ideia de ter um bl com uma história diferente assim me chamou tanta atenção que eu tive que colocar nas minhas prioridades. E não me arrependo nem um pouco de ter assistido, porque é uma história muito boa.
Uma curiosidade é que eu nem conhecia os atores hahah. Na verdade já tinha ouvido falar sobre eles pela internet, mas não fazia ideia que eram os famosos MaxTul que estavam nesse drama. Fiquei até surpresa quando descobri.
Então, falando agora do conteúdo do drama em si, Manner of Death tem uma história intrigante, eu simplesmente não conseguia parar de assistir. Surtei criando teorias, de raiva e aflição. A história se passa em uma cidade pequena (amo) e o interessante é como a narrativa nos conduz a entender lentamente o que está acontecendo. Para isso, ela recorre ao protagonista, pois assim como ele que está chegando na cidade após certo tempo, nós que não sabemos de nada dali vamos acompanhando com ele cada descoberta. Eu amo esse formato de história em que uma pessoa volta à sua cidade natal depois de um tempo, então amei isso.
Apesar de ter me entretido muito, não achei o drama perfeito. Alguns elementos do roteiro não me agradaram, o que me deixou um pouco decepcionada. Não vou comentar a fundo aqui porque a intenção não é dar spoiler hahah. Além disso,
achei algumas cenas e situações bem aleatórias, não sei se eu não entendia o que tava acontecendo ou elas só não faziam sentido mesmo. Entendo que obviamente precisam de momentos de muita tensão, mas em algumas situações isso não funcionou muito comigo porque passei a imaginar o que ia acontecer kkkk
Mas, mesmo assim, eu amei assistir esse bl. A forma como o suspense é construído é muito boa, ficava confusa em muitos episódios doida pra entender o que estava acontecendo.
Agora eu preciso falar de um dos pontos mais fortes dessa história, que é o casal. O casal é incrível, simples assim. Eu não esperava gostar tanto deles como gostei. O romance é bem maduro, sem muitas palhaçadas ou enrolação, talvez pelo fato do foco não ser romance. Assim, foi algo gradual que me fez surtar demais. Acho que isso é um dos fatores que ajuda essa história a ser um pouco diferente das que estamos acostumados.
Para fazer um resumo, eu gostei muito desse bl. Um suspense bem feito e intrigante, com momentos de muito ódio e tensão, além de ter um romance como pano de fundo que aquece nosso coração. Há também personagens que são muito agradáveis, é impossível não se apegar. Espero que façam mais bl's com roteiros diferentes assim pois estarei pronta pra assistir todos hahah. Agora, sinto vontade de ler a novel.

Perfeição absoluta
Então... começo dando minha nota de cara: 10 de 10.Ao iniciar a série eu pensava que teríamos um show de sexo e pornografia por causa da classificação. Me alegra muito falar que não é o caso, existem sim algumas cenas mais quentes, mas realmente o foco da trama é a resolução da morte de Jane. Um BL totalmente fora dos padrões para o ano de 2020, quando a Tailândia ainda tinha preferência absoluta por BL's ambientados colégios e universidades. Aqui temos uma trama ambientada longe dos grandes centros urbanos, embora esse ponto não seja muito explorado (costumes locais etc), temos uma "quadrilha" que para fazer suas orgias abusa de mulheres, obrigam elas a se drogarem, boa parte menores de idade, traficam tanto garotas quanto drogas. Os braços dessa quadrilha estão em todos os lugares da alta sociedade, inclusive nas esferas da justiça, onde a corrupção é descarada. Isso sem falar nos assassinatos (perdi a conta de quantos foram no total), nas tramas pérfidas... algo que não aconteceu: episódios previsíveis. Pra mim foi impossível decifrar a verdadeira assassina até que a série mostrasse, e mesmo assim fiquei em dúvida, esperando um plow twist, já que também tinha sido mostrado o noivo como assassino.
O roteiro dessa série é maravilhoso, não por acaso, a outra série do universo da autora Samon (Triage) também é impecável. O lado podre de uma mulher que vendeu a sua única irmã, que a amava mais que tudo, apenas por dinheiro e poder, e ainda me chocou mais ainda ver que a ideia da "venda" partiu dela própria. Nem mesmo o aborto que a irmã foi obrigada a fazer a sensibilizou. Não acho que a irmã e o noivo são iguais, enquanto a irmã era maligna em sua sede por dinheiro e poder, o noivo apenas era submisso a um sistema que ele não tinha forças para lutar contra. Ele era fraco diante de tudo, e preferiu se abster de fazer algo, e apesar disso ainda fez, quando gravou o crime. A parte médica, mostrando o hospital, o contato do legista com a polícia, isso tudo foi uma inovação muito boa.
Quanto ao romance, um dos melhores desenvolvimentos de casal BL que já vi, aliás tanto do casal principal quanto do secundário, conseguiram colocar alguns clichês, como o de que já se conheciam mas um deles não lembrava e o de inimigos que viram amantes, mas mesmo assim foi inovador, interessante e gostoso de se ver. Aplausos para o pedido de casamento icônico hehehehe.
Outros detalhes como a ost, a cenografia, a fotografia, nada decepcionou. São elementos que junto com um elenco de atuação incrível e com a química de milhões de Max e Tul, gravaram o nome desse BL na história.

Equilíbrio quase perfeito entre suspense policial e boys love
Manner Of Death é aquele tipo de drama super fora do padrão comum de romance pão com ovo tailandês, mas que vai te entregar nas cenas de interação romantica dos protagonistas o mesmo sentimento e gana que os romances padrão pão com ovo normalmente causam nos telespectadores. A química MaxTul é incrível e muito bem equilibrada durante a série, você consegue sentir que a paixão que eles tem um pelo outro está no mesmo nível da necessidade em se protegerem e até no ódiozinho e na rivalidade do começo do relacionamento.Bun é um médico legista que acabou de se transferir para sua cidade natal, onde ele acaba reencontrando antigos amigos. Poucos dias depois de chegar, uma de suas amigas de infância mais próxima, Jane, comete suicídio e Bun acaba como o responsável pelos procedimentos de necropsia para investigar a causa da morte dela. Ele descobre, então, que Jane pode não ter se suicidado, mas a polícia não parece querer ouvir sua análise médica, então Bun acaba se aproximando de Tan, um amigo próximo de Jane, para tentar descobrir o que realmente aconteceu.
A premissa TanBun é que o dr. Bun suspeita do Tan por ele ser muito próximo da Jane, então eles não iniciam seu relacionamento de uma forma muito agradável, por mais que o Tan demonstre a todo momento que quer proteger o Bun. Demora um pouco para eles confiarem um no outro, mas durante a série tanta coisa acontece que no fim é quase impossível eles não se apoiarem e protegerem contra qualquer coisa. O romance é muito maduro, ele tem seus momentos soft, mas todo o processo de aproximação de TanBun como casal é muito natural, muito fluído. Não tem todo aquele tabu com o primeiro beijo que normalmente é apresentado nos dramas escolares, justamente pelos personagens já serem mais velhos, não tem tabu nenhum na primeira noite deles juntos (mas o drama nem foca muito nessa parte, na realidade) e não tem tanto tabu deles demonstrarem afeto perto de outras pessoas, por mais que o Bun seja do feitio envergonhado. Além disso, o drama trata de assuntos bem pesados como suicídio, tráfico de mulheres, prostituição, aborto, então realmente não tem muito tempo pros protagonistas ficarem de mimimi com a sexualidade deles rs.
Manner Of Death foi um drama que me deixou muito contente pelo seu tema, seriedade e pela química do casal principal. Eu sinto que nada faltou nele, tudo esteve sempre muito bem equilibrado, os episódios fluíram numa velocidade que, quando eu percebi, já tava terminando e eu nem tinha visto o tempo passar (e olha que fui assistindo aos poucos). Sem críticas negativas, Manner of Death é tudo que a tailândia precisa pra espandir seu catálogo de gêneros dentro do gênero BL.

maxtul reis da Tailândia e entregando o melhor bl de todos. A história é incrível, cada momento você querendo saber o que vai acontecer no próximo ep. A atuação deles é perfeita e a química não precisa nem falar nada né pqp. E maxtul inova demais, muito bom eles trazendo um bl tailandês que não seja no universo universitário, finalmente um bl adulto ?? espero que até o final fique perfeito assim como tá. Enfim, é isso, acompanho eles desde 2017 e fiquei extremamente feliz quando foi anunciado que eles teriam um comeback ainda mais em um drama criminal ?Esta resenha foi útil para você?

EVERYONE SHOULD WATCH THIS SHOW
I wrote this review crying, I never in a thousand years when I started MoD think it would make me cry but after watching episode 13, I was wrecked, I just could not stop crying. Like that episode hit so good, so I just decided to start my review now.INTRODUCTION
I will start by saying, I came to Manner of Death for MaxTul and I stayed for the great series, I genuinely did not have high expectations for the series going in [I mean we all know Thailand for its great variety of genre of BL series outside schoolboy love, lol]. I was not going to write my review of MoD until it was done, but after what I felt in episode 13, I just felt the urge to pen this review down.
To unofficially start the review, I feel a lot of people [most of whom I believe do not have a background in law and criminal investigations] came to this with weird expectations, I guess while I came with no expectations from the show. So, I am going to be writing this review with the years I have spent as a law student and the head of my university moot court and mock trial, which I have led several criminal mock, but also as a fan of great storytelling, please note I am not saying this series was the perfect series on legality and investigations because I don't know what the law is like in their country and how they separate jurisdiction in crimes in Thailand, but the under thought was appreciated for some parts of legality. I would also like to note that the purpose of this story/series is not to be an action intense, passion-driven story, it is meant to be more of a criminal investigation, a murder mystery. Seeing as it is a murder mystery thriller, it sets up the tone a lot for what the series has to offer, which I believe was beautifully met, I love that they didn't make the show about insane crime plots, but more of a slow revelation of people involved in a heinous crime (which about 90% of the time in real life cases, that is what happens, I mean I have had a lecturer who has a guy convicted for murder just because he didn't want his wife to know he cheated (his mistress was his alibi), so most times crimes aren't what a lot of shows paint them out to be) or this girl who knew he boyfriend was involved in a series of crimes but kept quiet because she "loved" him and I was like, where look at where that landed you. An example is KinnPorsche the series is a pure action series, which is totally different from MoD, just because both pertain to ‘mafia’, does not mean the elements of the series would be similar, they are two quite different genres of series, can't expect the same level of action
GENERAL REVIEW
Alright, so for my general review, I would say that Manner of Death was a refreshing breath to the BL industry when I first heard about it, because while I love my fluffy cute boys, but as someone that is older, I would love to believe that people fall in love outside school too. I was already pretty excited for a non-school Thai BL and by the first episode I was super excited, as a criminal prosecutor because I saw the attention to detail in certain aspects of the series, like the mentioning of the 5 manners of death, that was the first indication to me that they knew where they were going with their series and that there was a vision [this is one of the first things we are taught under murder and homicide in criminal law and how to differentiate each one for charging purposes], so it was refreshing to see detail in that sense, as well as the amount of detail paid to medical terms, autopsy, etc. Yes, they had a lot of sloppy parts, there were parts that were so convenient, but in a general overview, I loved how they handled a lot of things.
I was happy with the level of intrigue they left us with after each episode like they gave us tiny crumbs of information which keeps you want to know more by next week and there was a form of intricacy with the amount of intention paid towards the mystery. Seeing the motivating factors of each character, being ultra-suspicious of every character because everyone was basically a suspect until we started getting towards episodes 6 and 7, when they started to be clarified on so much more of the story, even when we thought we knew definitively who the killer was, by the time we got to episode 13 and we got the full back story, I was left so gut-wrenched, not just by the shock of who the killer was, I mean I had my suspicion about the character as a whole, but the entire story behind it, like I was hurt so much I didn’t know when I started crying and that's because it kinda brought me back to some dark places, it just hit differently for me.
I loved the series for so many things, they always made me laugh and roll over with laughter with how suspicious Bun was of Tan like Tan could breathe and Bun would look at him like ‘you breathe suspiciously’, I mean Tan’s phone literally rang and he gave Tan a side-eye in the earlier episode, it was always funny. What made me cackle was Bun warning Sorawit against That like he was literally playing housewife with one of the prime suspects as of when we knew nothing. Or after the shooting, when Tan and Bun were together with Inspector M and being all lovey-dovey and inspector m smirked like, ‘these kids really about to act like I am not right here.’
STORY – 9.5
I loved the story in this, it follows Dr. Bun as he tries to uncover the mysteries of Viangpha Mork, the town he grew up in, which makes him learn, everything is not what it seems. I mean every revelation comes like a gut punch. He is helped by a dark and somewhat mysterious man [tan], whom he comes to fall in love with. The story is a story of mystery, suspense, betrayal, and manipulation. I absolutely loved it. I do not want to give out more than this here.
The story had a lot of moral lessons for me like
1. Everything is not always what it seems to be and even when we think we know someone, a lot of the time we really do not.
2. Most people go through their pain quietly like Jane and Natty and by the time we get the courage to speak out, it might be too late.
3. It spoke on the problems of trafficking and rape that is ever so prevalent in the society and that sometimes it goes to the very top of the society, those who are meant to tackle it
4. That love can make us do a lot of things, like a lot of things.
I loved the story overall
CHARACTERS – 9
I love the characters, while they were core characters that make up the entire story, I love how they tried their best to give each character a little bit of something, they did not always succeed but it was great though, I love that they had 3D characters, no caricatures of characters though I wish they did more with some characters.
Bun, our main protagonist, I love Bun because he represents a lot, friendship, love, and confusion. Bun was a bit of representation of how naïve we can be sometimes, and through him, we get to view it and understand that everything is not always what it appears to be, his friend Pued was not the good man he grew up with, Rung that was like a sister to him was a twisted person. His growth on the show was interesting to watch. He kind of kickstarts everything with his pursuit for truth. He teaches us to fight for what we believe in and what is right, even at those hard moments. In the grand scheme of things, I actually don’t think he was the most important character [in my opinion]
Tan, as a character, Tan was a bit more complicated than Bun, a victim of circumstance. Rejected by his own father and eldest brother, yet still loving them in a way [when he said he could not let Por die despite everything]. He represents conflict, conflict on thoughts, conflict of emotions. Bun and Tan worked together to reveal the story to us, while a lot of us came for MaxTul, which means we technically came for BunTan, which they delivered to us, good acting, smut, and fluff. They gave us the mystery and gave us the love feels. The characters who ended up standing out to me the most were Jane, Rung, and Pued [that is at the ending]
Rung, Jane, and Pued as characters show us how we can be so wrong about people just from outward appearances. They also make us understand, that there is this idea, that family are the people who care for you the most or have your back the most and these characters show us the errors in this reasoning. They show us how easily a person can be manipulated, they show us how twisted and cruel family can be, they show us how weak those who are meant to love us and protect us can be. I feel the greatest moral story of the series lies with this set of characters.
I love Inspector M as well, he represents this inner struggle we have with ourselves sometimes, between taking the right path and the easy path.
Of course, we have evil and disgusting characters like the Congressman, Police Chief, and Judge, which shows us how often people in power misuse the trust placed in them, even if it is not through sex rings and trafficking, stealing, embezzling and so much more… gosh I hated them.
Sorawit and That, they kind of just plotted characters, gave us cute scenes, they really didn’t add or take away anything from the series, so I don’t mind them. Oat too as well, he is cute.
I think overall, the core 5 or 6 characters showed a little bit of depth, that they were thought out to some extents and to make us understand that humans are complex 3 dimensional people, we dong just fit into a one for all box... Though I wish they did more with side characters sometimes but it's fine
ACTING - 9
Gosh, episode 13 was a masterpiece in acting and emotions, you know when I started MoD, I felt a little bit misplaced about the acting, the men felt like overall better actors but shit, episode 13 changed my mind heavily.
I mean they had acting misses do not get me wrong, examples are when nam was drugged and she was back with sorawit and she was able to regain coordination or it appeared so despite being drugged. Also, there were some acting misses in terms of pain and stuff, but the thing is that in moments when it mattered, THEY ALWAYS DELIVER [you can quote me on that]
Like, I walked away from episode 13, which was the most important episode in my view, with pain in my heart, the sequence was executed so well I could not stop crying, it was just so much. MaxTul as well were also great in their parts, but I have to say, episode 13 kinda took the cake for me in acting, which hurt me in ways I did not know I could be hurt, memories of things to be forgotten.
Though like I said there were some acting misses but I don't think it was prevalent in this show.
MISSES
Now, MoD was a great show, it had thought put into it but there were just some few misses, some which I have already noted
But episode 11, 12 and 13 had some plot issues that were kinda weird, like how Por was conveniently at the school. The phone with the video was in the exact place they were (though it makes sense seeing as Pued had taken refugee there for a while, but it was just a little convenient)
They had very great storytelling, although their pacing was a little off, what I mean, is how fast somethings happened or how slow it happened
Sometimes like there were some fluffy parts of Tan and Bun that were just kinda unnecessary to the overall plot, [but hey, who am I to complain, after all, MAXTUL for life]. Sometimes the way patients recover from shootings or beatings in life seconds was kinda funny like characters had super-regenerative cells in this show like I do not know how Tan survived like he was beaten numerously, shot, kidnapped, and somehow, he could still walk, lol.
I mean in the grand scheme of things; I understand why the judge allowed them to bring everything to him so he could monitor anyone getting to close to the truth and I think because it is a small town everyone knows everyone but I think it was just weird how everyone could just turn up at the judge's office for a favor or how they took evidence on them at the police station. But like I said earlier, I don't know how the legality in their place works, so it might make sense for a small town to have that.
I mean MoD had misses, but I don't think any of the misses was so fatal it made the show unenjoyable, but I just thought to note them
Production – 8
Well, the production was kinda weird at first, I thought like there was just low lighting, but as we moved forward, I got to understand that was meant to the feeling that was created, it was meant to be a foggy town and the low lighting was to add to the chill vibe of the murder mystery. The Pacing was generally okay, so I do not seriously have any issues with them, I just wished they didn’t waste as much time on some things or some things that didn’t seem so out of the blue.
REWATCH VALUE - 10
I would absolutely rewatch this a thousand times, but episode 13 has me scarred, so I do not know, anytime I think of it, I cry… But I do not think that would stop me from watching it because the series overall is great.
OST - ?????
They do not have an outstanding OST in MoD,
well point of correction they don't have an ost at all in MoD. Which was an interesting choice, I don't know how music would have changed the show but I think it was a safe choice, better no Music and the show came out great or they inserted music and potentially ruined key moments.
They rely heavily on instruments, which worked out for them in. I do love the introduction to the episodes when they are showing the characters. I think they did an overall good job with their use of sound for effect.
As a series in whole, I definitely loved this, I look forward to a season 2 and I hope they fix a couple of issues here and there but I am ranking it among my top BL series ever and that is going up against Gaya sa Pelikula, UWMA, and many more

COMMENDABLE JOB
Are you curious why I wrote "commendable job" in the title? It's because the writer and director of this MoD actually need some applause for making this unique Thai BL.I am so so so happy that finally Thai BL makers are coming out of their comfort zone and trying out genres which are way beyond of their league. Crime thriller is absolutely not what their area of interest.
To be very honest, I found many flaws but I think it's worth looking them away for they've come out of their box probably for the first time. In fact, they've done a pretty good job in direction, screenwriting and screenplay, which I thought they might not work out.
It was a pretty good story with plots, twists and turns placed at their rightful places. Few things felt absurd but can be totally ignored. They didn't research about the forensic stuffs properly which they could have done by consulting experts of the respective fields. And the thing about the police station organisation didn't feel right either.
But anyways, I was intrigued by the ending and tbe way the main culprit was revealed.
It was overally a good watch. I hope they keep making such Thai BLs.

A BL where the BL is overshadowed by, you know, an actual story
Manner of Death is presently something of a unicorn: it’s a BL drama where the BL aspects are incidental to a primary story rather than driving the plot themselves. Hopefully, that’s a sign that same-sex relationships are shedding the novelty factor that called the genre into existence in the first place. In the future, perhaps Asian dramas can incorporate same-sex relationships into other storylines just as in real life the people engaging in same-sex relationships have other things going on. Things like jobs and crazy family dynamics, for example. In this case, Manner of Death incorporates those rather standard tropes from non-BL (melo)dramatic television premises into a murder mystery detective story that grows in complexity as the series proceeds. Along the way, the two leads fall for another. After all, it is still a BL—and a BL that features the legendary BL pairing MaxTul, here in their fourth series pairing as a couple.As anyone conversant with the history of (US) television has already discerned from the title, the main plot of Manner of Death centers on a medical examiner who will get drawn into tracking down the killers of murder victims for whom he performed autopsies. Like his TV predecessors from Quincy, Crossing Jordan, and Bones, Dr. Bunnakit (Tul Pakorn Thanasrivanitchai) will occasionally go up against unhelpful relatives of the victim, police officers who refuse to believe murders took place, and obvious initial suspects who turn out to be a good guy. Or, because we are in BL world, he turns out to be a good guy to date. In what surely must qualify as a fresh take on the enemies-to-lovers trope, the most obvious suspect for the murder in Episode 1 is not only dashingly handsome but also manifests a surprising interest in the good doctor. Soon Dr. Bun and Tan (Max Nattapol Diloknawarit) agree to become partners—and that partnership isn’t limited to crime-solving.
Since the core story is a whodunnit, I will forego the usual plot synopsis. Suffice it to say that our two heroes face increasingly dangerous scenarios as they persist in trying to solve a crime that powerful figures in this rural town want to disappear without a full investigation. Towards the end this story becomes overly complicated, macabre, and dark. But don’t let that detract from the fun. Manner of Death offers two-fold pleasures for diligent viewers. First, trying to figure out who is behind the escalating series of crimes (side characters in this series have a limited life expectancy!) and also why. Second, watching one of the more hallowed couplings in the BL realm dig into new roles and fall in love with each other all over again. Er, I mean their characters fall in love with each other. Because I, like ,totally, understand Max and Tul are just actors. And that just because they are convincing and delightful as a couple it doesn't mean they themselves are a couple. Dammit.
Enjoy this pairing because all signs are that one or both of the actors will move on from acting to pursue interests outside the industry. To the detriment of BL storytelling, because Max and Tul have an ease with one another that elevates the productions they perform in. Their chemistry as scene partners is undeniable. That alone makes Manner of Death worthy of sampling.

Plot line is 10 out 10 and not just for a BL drama. This is a great drama that has a romance sub-plot and the romance is a BL. The story is interesting, well written and keeps you on your toes. And the romance is developed seamlessly and incorporated well into the story without it being the main focus. Max and Tul have an amazing on screen chemistry as always and this time around they really get to show us their great acting skills as well.I mean, I like this so much I created an account just to write my very fist review on here for this drama - because it so good and so worth the effort.
Honestly for anyone who likes murder/mysteries - this is fantastic. I don't really and still loved it! If you have an issue with character death and generally this type of visual in a TV setting, then I would not recommend as we have a lot of violence in the main plot line.
