Averagely acted and directed addictive BL story with weather metaphors and steamy scenes
A BL series showcasing 2 duo of characters who are playing cat and mouse with each other, with a lot of chasing around, some angst and pining for. The first half of the show focus mainly on one couple while the second half centers around the second relationship. I found this narrative choice a bit odd and I think both storylines would have benefited to be spread and mixed together all along the drama rather than having such a big separation.There was some noticeable issues with the sound in a lot of scenes. Most of the sound effect, ambiance and background noises were done quite clumsily: for example, when some characters were speaking on the phone you could hear that the text was being read post production and set too loud, and the mix between some background noise and the music was most of the time super awkward.
The acting was quite average and unequal with a main cast made of inexperienced actors. There were not all at the same level and depending on the scenes they had to play were rather able to convey in a suitable manner the emotions they were portraying (especially the more playful and sexy ones). However, there was also quite a bit of overacting and some of the most angsty and traumatic scenes felt a bit flat to me.
Despite this, it was still a thoroughly fun and enjoyable watch with some really steamy moments that give you all the feels. There were a lot of cute interactions between the protagonists and the story was pretty addictive to follow. The episodes were overall well-paced (with the exception of the ending which felt a bit rushed given what the characters had to deal with). Even if they were a bit on the nose, I also highly appreciated the weather metaphors highlighting the various stages of the romance all along the episodes.
I would recommend this to people looking for some steamy story with a lot of chasing around, who do not mind some all over-the-top elements and that are not triggered by scenes portraying rape and abusive relationship.

Not worth all the hype ?
I didn't really understand the rave about this show! Was it all the nc scenes ?? Some scenes made me cringe tbh. Imo Sky/Pai story started not as a one night stand, it was more of a blackmail sort of thing and made me really uncomfortable at the beginning due to the fact that Sky already had a history of emotional/physical abuse by his previous partner!On the other hand, Rain/Payu story was much more fun to watch. Sometimes I laughed Sometimes I cringed so bad ?. The monologue, for example, that Payu had after Rain bruised his lip, could've been had internally instead of externally! I mean who would stand outside a room on an empty hallway talking to themselves like that ?.
Overall, I gave the show 6.5 just because I had a good laugh and some scenes may have given me butterflies ? ☺️ ? also the soundtrack was amazing.

it was a great series overall. 100% worth watching series.
overall it was a great series I loved the characters. I just don’t see myself wanting to watch it again. This series was worth watching. I really loved the plot and I loved how the series delivered the conflicts. it was a heart warming series but it can also be “spicy” at times too. I would consider it a great use of my time. That series got me hooked really fast and I finished it so fast I was disappointed I wanted more of the series. I look up to the Sky
This is just a review and rating of the story of Sky and Prapai, i.e. the second part of the series (from the last 10 minutes of episode 7 to the end). I normally don't review or rate things I didn't like, so if I had rated the series as a whole, the rating would be lower. Payu and Rain didn't do it for me and I was done with them after episode 4. I have to say that I enjoyed Noeul's acting very much and I liked Rain, but mostly when he was not with Payu.Sky was my absolute favourite from the moment I saw the trailer and that didn't change until the end, in fact I watched mainly for him and he and Peat are the reason for the high rating. Sky was the most nuanced and interesting character considering his backstory and the way he dealt with it. At the beginning, he's seen only as Rain's sassy best friend and he seems confident and direct, but also very loyal and always ready to help. When the series progress and we get the chance to know him better, he becomes more vulnerable and insecure, but at the same time, he is and remains the strongest character of the four mains, considering the trauma he's been living with for so long without telling anyone and without feeling like he can trust anyone with it. I was very impressed with Peat's performance, because the role of Sky was the hardest to play and he delivered.
I was very also impressed with Prapai's development from a selfish, careless rich asshole (I'm borrowing the term Sky used to describe him the night they met) to the most faithful, loving, caring partner you can imagine. Fort did great, especially in the last two episodes. For me, the highlight of the season was episode 11, and not only because of the most romantic NC scene I'd seen in a while. I don't remember the last time I thought a couple looked so good together on screen. :) They are both very attractive and just match well and I bought that they are deeply in love just from them looking at each other.
Sadly, I feel that the last episode was rushed and they should've given the Sky and Prapai story at least one episode more to concentrate on Sky's trauma and healing properly. To me, they delevoped the love story exactly as they should have, the pacing was right, and we could see Sky gradually fall in love and trust Pai (Prapai himself was a goner pretty much when they met, he just didn't know it ;), but they didn't give enough time to show Sky recovering from his past with Pai's help. Having found a devoted and adoring boyfriend is a start, but not enough, and I wish they hadn't rushed the ending like that. The special episode was a gem anyway despite not mentioning how Sky was doing in that aspect, because sassy Sky was back and I'll just say it, the NC scene was so hot.
The sound was atrocious for the entire series, and there were several weird cuts in many of the epsides. To sum it up, the editing sucked, but the cinematography was good.
I've rewatched the Sky/Pai part of the season an embarrassing number of times and although I hated having to wait for them for almost 8 episodes, now I have to say I'm glad that the series was split like that, because I don't have to skip though any scenes in the episodes 8 - 13 to enjoy their story. It was a long wait, but it was worth it. Together with Akk and Aye and Mark and Vee, Sky and Prapai are in my top 3 favourite BL couples for this year.

Best R-rated content with no toxicity
By toxicity I mean sexualized rape and abuse but Payu and Prapai, even though they were portrayed as playboys, they both turned into amazing boyfriends who take care of their loved ones better than anyone. I really enjoyed the story and the development between the characters. Rain became more responsible with his life and well mannered. Just the stupidity didn't leave him. ?Payu became much less aggressive, more calm and very caring. Hubby material.
Prapai became faithful to one person and learnt to treat his lover with respect and stayed by his side in his darkest times. I really loved how he stayed with Sky all day and night when he was seriously sick from overworking himself. The worry in his eyes was everything and gosh his smile.
Sky learnt to trust people again and learnt to love. He became my favorite character with his dark story he was able to hide with his smile and overworking himself but it hurt him. He needed someone to start new story with so he can stop thinking about his trauma. I don't know if he ever visited therapist and was taking pills but it hurt me every time seeing him suffering in his own dreams. It kept hunting him for so long and there's no way he can ever forget about something like this.
All I wanted was worse ending for Gun because in the end he got the same punishment as Stop but it's completely incomparable. Stop kidnapped Rain and was threatening Payu with hurting Rain but in the it were just words and all he did was give Payu few hits till Chai came for him. While Gun... physically and mentally abused Sky for a long time and when he got bored he really.... I don't even want to mention it but it made me so freaking angry like how can you give him to your friends for rape?? And when he was finally happy with Pai, it made him want to rape him again and brainwash him about Pai hating him like wtf??? How can someone have this kind of mindset??? He reminds me of those psycho murderers who became legend for their craziness
Overall, I really enjoyed those love stories and they made it well with dividing their parts. Not like UWMA and Between Us which should be in my opinion mixed together.

Really good to be honest.
I think overall it was a pretty good series and the story really had good parts to it and overall was interesting and had good amount of episodes in it. The music is good but some of the songs I didn't like much because it gave me a headache for some reason because everytime the show would like open kind of I didn't like it and would skip. But other than that it was a really good series. I wouldn't really rewatch it because it was good but not something I'm so so interested in so. I give it a 9 <3Esta resenha foi útil para você?
It would be better if they didn't split the series
I was interested in Payu and Rain's storyline, which is the reason I started watching this show. I didn't know the focus shifted halfway through, and I wasn't a huge fan of the second half. The motorcycle storyline went nowhere, and they reference a character constantly and you just...never meet him? They also played the exact same 8-minute or so long clip of the motorcycles being transported like three times. Why.The best part about the show was the chemistry. Both couples felt well thought out in terms of development, and they managed to have two very different couples. I think I just don't like the whole switching to new leads thing they did. I felt like I should have been more invested in the Pai/Sky storyline than I was. It also felt like the show got way too serious way too fast in the second half. Instead of a fun, lighthearted show, it turned into a story of trauma and assault. If they were going to have more serious themes, I wish they would have brought them in towards the beginning of the show, instead of having them all at the end when it's totally unexpected.

This drama is unique in its structure. The first half of the drama you are following Payu and Rain, and the second half follows Pai and Sky's relationship. I did not think it possible but I was equally invested in both couples.Starting with the positives, the actors did better than your average bl actors. Also more hot scenes than your average bl that were somehow appropriately distributed. Everyone seemed very invested in those hot scenes and it shows. Cringe was minimal. And the drama worked to develop characters individually, which I greatly appreciated, to understand them better.
I could see how Pai improved in his acting throughout the show, that at some moments he brought tears to my eyes really. From smiles that became his go-to expression (and low key annoying), he be getting cuter tho from ep to ep not gonna lie..
Also, isn't Payu somehow green flagy? Like my man conditioned his partner to focus on his school prior to him. Gotta love man with his priorities straight. Pai was not that at all, but he had his moments.
...and now on weak points. There were really no major disappointments. Despite a lot of turbulence it dragged a bit. Major question mark is I did not understand why would both Payu and Pai fall for Rain and Sky respectively. I mean physical attraction I understand but they did not explain at all what was special about them so those handsome, mysterious, rich, bad boy and smart loners would find in them the love of their life them.
Soundtrack I actually noticed so I gave above average score.
Do not miss this one. This one is for cleansing eyes from you previous failures.

Dull storyline
Its getting along pretty okish just good for a light watch. I really have grown this BL I would have loved if I had watch 2 years back but now I need a good storyline before just bland NC scenes. Good acting ofcourse is a must which this series lacked. And the unnecessary kiddish roles played by boys just don't tempt me. I need mature actors. Don't come on saying I am not an ally enough for not understanding such characters. I would have liked it if they had played it simple but showing how stupid and dumb a character is definitely not a joyous ride to see.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
modern lakorn with hot scenes
It's a lakorn, if you know what i mean... But it's modern and it's got some hot scenes! What else? Not much... Young cast, some better than others.Excellent cinematography, nice camera angles, nice settings, nice details... Fashion & hairdo are a bit weird.
Plot is full of tropes, like the character with a traumatic past and those dom/sub love dynamics (power balance in the two couples is totally off! being patted on the head is something so pleasurable? I almost saw those two subs wiggling their tail...).
It's like one - or two - BL Cinderella's encounter their respective prince.
The comedic element is hardly done right.

Story of Sky and Prapai
I’m glad that they separated the stories of the 2 couples so I could only watch episode 8 to 13 as I absolutely love the story of Sky and Prapai! It begins with exciting NC scene but as I learned more about Sky and realised why he acted like that, I just couldn’t help but caring about this couple! The casting is excellent as well.I did try to watch a few episodes of Rain and Phayu, but I just didn’t get the chemistry between them. Rain’s supposed to be good looking but again I just didn’t feel anything. How they fall in love with each other seems contrived.

I found this show very questionable sometimes. I was left with a bad taste with how the relationships started and the way they then took a turn did not please me completely, it was a bit hard to see the characters in a better way after how they acted the firsts times they met with her later partners, but the truth is that I enjoyed the show, excluding those scenes that bordered on the non-consensual things (between the couples), but for what I've seen in Thai bls this one has not been so bad. Undoubtedly, the ending was a bit rushed, I think it was a plot that could have been deepened more and in a better way, but well...Esta resenha foi útil para você?
