and the prize for the most cliche goes to...
It's not much to see here besides the pretty actors walking to and fro in their fashion-shop borrowed clothes. At times i even wondered if this beats "Check Out" in terms of stupidity... Some bed scenes are nice since they stop being cheesy for a moment, just to become unrealistically wild. The young actors cannot act, but no one seems to be bothered abt this. They look good after all, right?
Watch at your own risk.

plain boring
I personally dont have anything against "weird" japanese dramas, since this seems to be their trademark... In fact, i kinda embrace weird things! BUT - and here comes a big BUT - japanese dramas lately seem to be weird the wrong way! Like, weirdly boring, or weirdly poor script, or something like that. I feel quite frustrated abt that - since you decided to be different, just do it bravely! So, this RECENT release doesnt seem to add much to the drama-landscape, but its not that bad either. I hesitate calling it mediocre, though im afraid thats just the word to describe it. I mean, you bring up an asexual guy, then he turns out to be gay... but no reflection or self-awareness at all? Are we earthworms? Our two protagonists hug each other to sleep, but they have trouble holding hands or something? Also, everybody is an impersonation of weird - weird hairdo, weird social skills, weird career path etc. I honestly suspect they try to impose on me some weird beauty standards. It's also mostly filmed indoors, totally low-budget. Not much here relatable to real life. The director should stick to commercials or manga.
My sad conclusion is: in Japan, people are prisoners of some self-imposed rules since they hardly express any personal beliefs. Am i right or wrong? If im wrong, its totally not my fault, since this work conveys to me this message.
Watch it as an alternative to older japanese dramas...

as deep as a teen movie
Very cliché to start with... Rich CEO falls for average girl who works for him and is very talented and sassy too. Innocent is a given... There is no conflict (?), just some romantic dates, and a pile of clichés - sharing the hotel room, buying clothes for the average girl, childhood trauma, car accident, strict grandfather etc. The second couple is more watchable - at least they get it on really fast!Except for the handsome ML, not much to look at... only if you're super bored.
I'm sure we all expect more from this era's movies.

havent't watched anything THIS good in a long time
I'm a fan of all the actors in this movie... I know most of them from previous works and i totally enjoy seeing them again. They are more than pretty faces! (Well, it doesnt hurt that they are pretty.) The young cast is also excellent, both in looks and acting skills, and the plot is really entertaining! The word for this is FRESH approach. The drama also conveys motivational messages and all, so it's got everything you could expect from it: action, mystery, suspense, comedy, bromance, family issues, self-achievement, compassion etc.I'm really happy to have found this little gem.

awesome actors!
So, as everybody noticed, this is a low-budget drama, and i mean SO LOW BUDGET that i could've produced better results in my kitchen! The actors are literally wearing the same hoodies half of the drama - which is not that long anyway.BUT... and here is a big BUT: the two ML's - and even the rest of the cast - are really excellent both in looks and acting skills that you can just completely ignore whats going on in the background! It's like two Oscar winners were invited to act in a school play. Watching them together is quite fun, the "boss" is great at playing an immature jerk who - surprisingly - is not afraid to love. Dialogues are spot-on!
The director must have some skills too, getting best results with little money.
Worth watching!

excellent tragedy
too good for words... writing and acting are genius. modern tragedy that resembles no other drama. the ML is self-destructive in a painful way while going up the social ladder. no salvation. it's a sad story abt a young man unable to escape a traumatic childhood and enjoying his living hell. even when committing the most horrendous sins, he is still so humane, bearing pain and trying to do the right thing.one objection though... the ML is too handsome for this to pass as realistic, and so are the other characters. not your average neighbour in any way.
the ML is breathtaking, and so is the child actor playing young ML. the honest poor family is too. every single character is worth the praise in this cathartic drama.
excellent to the last detail.

"girl in debt" trope adapted to BL
In all earnestness, i have to say that this drama is a total fiasco - read embarassment. Besides the ML - nothing to see here, not even hot scenes.By ep 4 or so, it's just recollection of the past... By ep 8, it's same story with - supposedly - different ML. It becomes absurdly repetitive: the ML died because of the villain and crazy jealousy of partner, he wakes up in a different body to share same jealous partner and same villain and same name and same life story... The narrative loop is motivated by the "debt" trope, like - the ML cannot escape the circumstances because he is trying to raise money for his sick mom.
I personally dont like most of the cast. Everything looks forced and rushed and unprofessional.
Very predictable too... The ML is to be appreciated post-mortem and coming back from the dead to his repenting lover and friends.
Body-swap trope is supposed to add to the wow factor, but it's not... It also becomes really soon Polichinelle's secret to its dumbest.
The trend of the year seems to be "movie in a movie" trope. I find it annoying and an attempt to ruin the little credibility these dramas already have.
There is some unwilling humour to it, like Joe being recognized because he sneezes during orgasm - LOL is this a new unconfirmed study? Also, his BF always takes him from behind because - we assume - he doesnt want to see his face, though s*x is good and packed with feelings!? I seriously want to know who wrote this stuff!!
I'd say, this lakorn is targeted to housewives while looking down on their intellectual abilities.
Waste of time.

a cheesy romcom done right
If you need your romance refill, this one is good to go. It has just the right amount of romance, action, crime, office relationships... I enjoyed it more than i expected, though i found the ML quite stiff - i assume im just prejudiced after watching him in "Coffee Prince", lets just say everybody ages. It's a lot of fun to see the tyrant CEO with amnesia being played by the secretary, then the roles being reversed in a cat-and-mouse game.I kinda realized im comfortable with old tropes like girl in debt, cohabitation, revenge turning into love, traumatic cold CEO and - MY OH MY - the OVERUSED death of parents in a tragic car accident... Im still BIG TIME at a loss to WHY most drama leads are ORPHANS raised by some sweet granny or aunty! Are parents such a hindrance for a good drama plot??
Nice time-filler.

excellent & outta the magic hat
korean drama has certainly reached a high level of artistry. this one drama has got everything - handsome actors, action, tragic past, forbidden love... choreography of fighting scenes is excellent, also each episode is sure to unveil a mystery, everything makes u hold your breath!i love it, despite the fact that one can see the ropes of the story. this k-drama is so seductive as it is unrealistic, though pretending to be. the director sure knows how to press some of the viewers' buttons.
the filming technique is weird, they seem to magnify the skin's imperfections, while everything else is at normal proportion/ view/ angle? i guess its some kind of experiment but taken too far.
recommended.

too much melodrama
I started watching this with high expectations... partly met by the gorgeous team of actors, especially the 2 ML's, who are so good-looking and versatile. Still after 15 episodes or so - the series being way too long anyway - i started to get bored with the repetitive actions. Our BL protagonists have little screen time together, though their scenes are the highlight of the drama. In the second half of the series, we hardly see them together. The tragic factor is too obvious, you clearly see this is to become a tearjerker, though it had some funny characters/scenes in the beginning - but important characters started to die left and right, ruining the balance. So i stopped watching it right before the end, since i had the feeling it offered me everything i wanted to see in terms of passion, chivalry, bromance, love, action, revenge etc. Might pick it up another time for a sense of completeness...
Many handsome faces, and special mention to the evil character, who comes off as the most rounded and totally takes the screen. The shady policeman too, keeps a fine balance to all the tragedy!
Great quality drama, too bad the scriptwriter lacked the sparkle.

no better no worse revenge/school drama
I can see a lot of wasted potential here... It's got a lot of ingredients to keep this entertaining, but also it's got a lot of tropes, and not all of them done right!I read a lot abt episode 6 & the turnover it brings. Indeed, there is something to it, but its aftermath not good enough if you ask me. Like someone said, two narratives are stuck together in an artificial way, as if the director received too many complaints from viewers for the story being boring and decided to add some action to it!
So, its a (student - teacher) romance + revenge (?) drama after all, and - hopefully - love wins and revenge is forgotten by the end.
Abt cast: i really think the weak spot is the FL, not the ML as many viewers said. The FL is really boring for wearing the same outfit and same facial expression all the time. While the ML is quite in the character, and though he might look more mature - which i didnt notice - it's not unusual for teens to look so. I've seen teens looking old and adults looking like teens, so this is not a concern for me while watching this.
My objection is to the plot itself, logic seems sometimes gone to the drain while cheap tropes keep recurring... Like, good ppl are in fact the creepy ones and vice-versa? Smh

"it all happens bcuz im so handsome" trope??
This drama had great potential and its engaging in so many ways and conveys so many positive messages, but - and its a big BUT - it also sends the wrong message, like: YOU ONLY MATTER FOR YOUR LOOKS... Almost all characters in this drama point out now and then HOW HANDSOME/ CUTE the protagonists are, like this is an important DRIVING force in the society, though we dont talk CATWALK, we talk NORMAL SCHOOL COLLEGE AND WORKING LIFE!? For gods sake, if i have to be a young and handsome student in fine arts just to wash dishes, then the entire world can go to hell! Also, we only get two types of women: the hateful scheming clingy one, and the straightforward, boyish, drinking-partner woman (at young age and at older age) - but the latest hardly ever presents interest as a woman, right? Are women ever so lame?
Too bad those ppl behind the screen got it all wrong.

Almost 10 but still
It's certainly one of the best Thai dramas in the BL category and not only. Excellent cinematography, entertaining plot, handsome guys, bad guys lol... It's got almost everything to perfection BUT for a few aspects: product placement is way too obvious!! Either it's toothpaste, drinks, cars... things are always pushed into our face. Also, everybody is dressed quite the same and everybody has an artistic side, like painting and playing the guitar. The dancer girl always wears the same pair of pants! Some scenes are really cringey: the policeman cries while being painted nude etc.The actors are very talented, no doubt. The 1st ML is the best by far. The 2nd ML - the one playing twins - is not subtle enough. He should've made the differences more refined, not so obvious. Like that constant scared look and crying eyes while trying to be the bad guy!? Im also a bit put off by seeing the same actors doing BL movies, cant you please make some changes for a while? Are we seeing the same movie again?
Watch it despite its flaws, it's still at the top.

too many twists to hold up together
I dont wanna spoil it for the viewers, but i definitely feel like this series played with the SHOCKING factor too much. Like, did the audience rating drop? No probs, we add something new that no one expects! It starts pretty boring and clumsy, i fast-forwarded through the 1st episode, then it all became quite clear, with a lot of remarkable graphic violent but still cinematographic scenes and a lot of interesting problematic characters... Then the tension kept building to the point of exploding... Then? The action took a weird course, like - let's give the viewers a scare so they keep watching!! For me, the screenwriter and the director pushed their luck too far, to the point it became incredulous.
Otherwise, i do appreciate the original plot, the acting skills of the cast, the detail-orientated cinematography etc.
Still i think it could've been way more rounded.
