Please, It will be good if people don't make comments about the ending. I personally liked it and if you want to know what happen, just find out by yourself.

The Actors Have reached a level of performance I which the viewer can feel the emotion the actor wants to transmit...
This Isn't the type of drama I usually watch but after seeing the first episode I realized it was too late there was no turn back, once you start you can stop it.
If you want in which you can feel any the whole package of emotions here it is.
I hope every body who watch it enjoy this Drama as much as I did
It different, but still amazing

Not only was this a romance, but it was political, comical, emotional and was very war based. The writers of this could not have done a better job. The actors brought the entire drama right to life. I cried countless times during this, and not only because I was sad, but because I was so over happy too.
The story line, though very much like Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliette, in the sense that the families hate each other, but also a lot like the story of Tristan & Isolde (If anyone has heard of it). They are all based along the same lines, and I tell you they are all beautiful.
This drama was just outstanding! By far the best drama I have ever watched yet. I HIGHLY recommend it.
And my opinion is no way biased due to any of the actors in this drama. I had only known of one actress in this drama, before watching it, and it was Kim Yoo Bin (She plays Seung Yoo's niece, in which I did not know she was in it until I started watching it.
Anyways, watch it. If you love a lingering romance, action or politics, this is definitely a drama for you! You have my word!

It's a real pity, because I absolutely loved virtually everything else about this drama (though my hatred for Park Si Yeon's acting/the character in general probably contributed to my immense love for the rest of the drama, as I was too busy hating on her to really criticize anything else).
This is one of my favourite romcoms ever, in any language. It's got comedy and it's got romance, and it does both very well. I spent the first few episodes laughing my head off- this drama actually does a pretty good job of finding comical situations that haven't been reused five bajillion times in other dramas and movies.
What really made My Girl for me, though, were the two lead actors. Lee Da Hae and Lee Dong Wook both have a fantastic sense of comic timing (just wait until the hospital scene where Gong Chan/LDW freaks out), and they're both so expressive and have such diverse facial expressions that they can make an already funny scene even funnier. They're amazing at comedy, and really, just amazing actors, period. Even when the drama starts turning more serious and high-stakes, they're able to deliver comedic, serious, sweet, touching, and tearful moments as required, often going rapidly back and forth between the funny and the serious. Together, they're even better. They play off of each other incredibly well, and their chemistry, too, is one of the things that really made this drama what it is. I'd say that their chemistry rivals that of many often-praised kdrama couples: think the sizzling sexual tension from Secret Garden, mixed with the overwhelming cuteness of My Princess, and you have Seol Gong Chan and Joo Yoo Rin in My Girl.
On the subject of Joo Yoo Rin: Lee Da Hae truly shines in this drama. I seriously cannot believe that neither her nor Lee Dong Wook got awards for their acting in this drama, while the awful Park Si Yeon did. Lee Da Hae is brilliant as the quirky, over-the-top, scheming yet loveable Yoo Rin. She makes me laugh and cry here with ease, and she seems to have fleshed out this character completely- Joo Yoo Rin is so realistic she might as well be real, and I really couldn't imagine any other actress in this part.
In regards to the rest of the cast: Lee Jun Ki acts the part of Seo Jung Woo quite well; I just think that it was never a hugely well written character to begin with. Yoo Rin's friends and father didn't stick out that much to me, but I loved Gong Chan's family, and together, they really did present the image of a realistic, slightly weird but loving, oddly knit together family unit. And... then there's Park Si Yeon, who is consistently awful. Kim Seo Hyun is a badly written character, and Park Si Yeon is a bad actor. She has all of approximately three facial expressions, the most common of these being the disdainful/contemptuous/annoyed/sarcastic snort that she does every five seconds, and in the later episodes, that really made me start to want to slap her in the face and skip ahead every time she appeared on screen.
The writing... well, it IS a Hong Sisters drama, but in my opinion, actually one of their best. My Girl has all of their wit and humour, awesome story and romance, and quirky yet loveable characters, but doesn't exhibit some of the flaws that are often associted with HS dramas- for example, weak endings(the ending of My Girl is actually pretty up there, as far as kdramas go). It's faced-paced, well-plotted, and thoroughly addictive.
The music (both the score and the OST) fit the drama perfectly, and as usual for a Hong Sisters drama, the music is excellent, and played at more or less all the right moments. Though it might not make my personal playlist as some drama OSTs do, My Girl's score is outstanding and the OST is a great match for the drama.
Overall, this is a hilarious drama, well worth watching. Basically, my main complaint with this drama is the shallow, poorly written second female lead (a common feature of Hong Sisters dramas/kdramas in general, unfortunately- think You're Beautiful, just for starters), and the poor acting with which said poorly written character was executed. Aside from this, I loved My Girl, and Lee Dong Wook and Lee Da Hae alone make this worth watching again and again.

Story- Really different! The first half of eps dealt with different patients and kept the story fresh. Then the second half of eps dealt more with the main Dr.’s personal life in addition to another Dr who had a major arc that took up the rest of the show. There is romance whoever it is only briefly touched upon. I thought this part was its weakness because the main Dr. and the main female Dr. had such a good chemistry, so I was kind of disappointed with the way they wrote it. The last episode was so cute in one sense but also angsty and kind of opened ended in some respects.
Acting/Cast- The two actors that stood out were Shin Ha Kyun (Dr. Lee Kang Hoon) and Jung Jin Young (Dr. Kim Sang Chul). They really did a phenomenal job of portraying their complex characters. I do have to mention that Dr. Lee was so scary for about most of the drama. His character was just too intense and I’ll just say it…psychotic for my liking. I was hoping for better character development but it didn’t happen. I actually loved the side characters and wish we got to see more of them because I feel like this drama was too centered on Dr. Lee. Unfortunately Choi Jung Won (who was brilliant in Stars Falling from the Sky) didn’t contribute anything to the show. Her character to me felt like she was just there to be Dr. Lee’s rag doll. This is evident even in the last few minutes of the ending.
Music- I really like the score it added to the intensity of certain scenes. The songs for the OST were memorable but nothing I’d listen to outside of the show.
Rewatch- Although I don’t regret watching this at all, I just didn’t get any enjoyment out of watching. Therefore I can’t say Id rewatch this.
Overall Brain is very very interesting but I just wasn’t in love with it. I do recommend watching it though. Its my first medical drama I’ve been able to finish so that’s worth something=)

Hello, everyone! This is my first review, so please be kind :). First to say, I'm only at ep 7, but I feel like I've already got the whole idea of this show and that there is no need for me to wait more. So,here I go. First of all, I have to say that I'm one of the persons that sided with the main girl, SoRa. I like her style of being hardworking, but I can't stand the way she lets her roomie toy with her. She's too kind, even through you don't always figure that out at first sight.Beeing manlier, with no make-up on and not caring about her apperance, she has been dessappointed by all of her boyfriends, never even kissing before. The other girl,on the other hand, t's so annoyng that I had a really great time trying to calm myself down while watching her selfish behaviour and her "I-deserve-everything" attitude. Geez, that type of girl really gets an my nerves. (She's pretty, trough)She doesn't even care about SoRa's sacrifices and her help.
Now about the guys. I don't know what to do, but I usually happen to side with the second main character. Hahaha. Well, that could be because I know from the beginning who's gonna end up with whom, so I kinda feel sorry for the other guy.
The story is nice.I like the idea of a guy chasing the girl, as it usually is the other way around(BTW, i'm a girl). Plus,it's a story about a first love, misunderstandings, 10 years passing by and love rivals. It has a lot of elements. But I can't say that I addore both the story and the acting. More like,I don't think the regizor was good enough. I had times(many of them) when I just couldn't stop myself from being bored. The story just dragged for too long. This was in the firs episodes.Just so you know, this problem will slowly dissappear. The acting isn't great either, especially that of the two main couple. The music was ok and present when necessary, to intensify the moment. I am not a type to rewatch a show, no matter how much I liked it. But as it is not one of those mystery shows, I don't think you should worry about spoilers on the second round.
As I've also seen in the other reviews, the side stories are indeed disturbing and taking a lot of time, but they can be funny in their own way.
Overall,I recommend this drama. It's funy and a bit of a change from your usually so typical stuff, like a girl chasing a guy until he sees how wonderful she is and falls in love with her.The story here begins with an old, first love story being destroied by a misunderstanding, with the girl being cared for by the guy. Have fun!

Every episode seemed to be a script out of Days of Our Lives, but I admit, the beginning had me from when she gets out of her dad's car, or well, whatever you want to call it, to start her new life at the prestigious school right until the end. It’s a drama that keeps you hooked and I wish, to be honest, they had spread the stories out as it soon became OTT and every scene less realistic than the last. It was because of this I was unable to completely fall in love with the characters and rather viewed it as a story without sadly any personal connection.
Easily my favourite character was Ji Hoo and it almost seemed as if BOF writers were trifling with the idea that true love and the love you should spend the rest of your life with are not the same person. Which is quite a unique idea. Apparent from that, the drama is quite shallow with basic themes of morality versus money being thrown out the window with the lingering close ups of extreme wealth at every turn.
However, in all that, a great fun Saturday night watch – not that I would watch Asian dramas on a Saturday night, geesh – and make sure to pick your own flower to fall in love with

This drama isn't a - OMFG we have to kill the director for making this crap
Neither is it a - Omfg This is AMAZING and I am going to name my child 'heart strings'
At first it was really promising . It was good and I was interested half way through .
But some where at episode 8 - 9 I lost interest because it seemed like it was kind of lacking something .
I think the cast was alright and I don't think Park Shin Hye was a mess or anything it was her character she had to portray .
I LOVE Jung Yong Hwa . But in this drama I didn't really like his acting
Or maybe it's just his character .
But over all It was Alright .
Like I said Not jaw dropping
Nor Horrible .
