I am a big fan of City Hunter, therefore I gave this drama a chance because there is a lot of technology is involved. Definitely awesome!!!!! Too bad there wasn't any action, but who cares. The actors did an awesome job. There were well chosen- many cute guys (even those who are evil- so it's hard to tell until the writer wants you to know).
As a fan of City Hunter, I loved the music- here it's pretty much the same story. SIMPLY AWESOME MUSIC!!!!!
Therefore overall a great drama, if your into Crime and Investigation. You might be disappointed if your favorite genre is Romance. You won't walk away with nothing because there is a lot you can learn about the tech.

Actually I was watching Hana Kimi and because I started liking Oguri Shun I was curiose about his new Drama.
I actually wanted to wait till all episodes come out, because I dont like this one week-one episode-thing.
But I actually was pretty curiose and bored at that day. So I told myself "Watch only the first part of the first episode" But a first part turned into the first episode. I felt so in love with Rich Man Poor Woman!
Oguri Shun has a very awesome role as a bad guy (you know, I love dramas with bad guys)He has never ever looked that hot before! He is rich, popular and owns a company. Actually he is very chilled out, does things the way he likes and never gets influnced by others.
BUT he has a diseas. He forgets faces immediately after see them, so he cant remember people very well.
Than there is a female student, Sawasaki, she needs money and a job. She has never got a job before, not even a job interview.
But one day she decides to go to Next Innovation, the company of Hyuga (Oguri Shun) But she gets treated very bad.
Anyhow she finds herself crossing Hyugas way many times. First she was admiring him. But than she starts liking him. Although he treats her a bad way...
Okay, thats enough, I dont wanna spoil you guys.
But If you love Dramas with bad guys the way I do, you really should watch this one. I cant resist, I have to watch all episodes, although I told myself to wait till all episodes are out.
Very great and captivating storyline, awesome and sympathetic cast and beautiful music. GOTTA WATCH IT!

atleast i would.
this could have been a good drama but alas..blame it on the bad directing and the writing part

this is one of those rare dramas which keep you on edge most of the times because you never know what is gonna happen..
this drama has lee min ho..that almst covers why it became so popular..the guy can act and he sure has an amazing screen presence which makes it impossible not to like his character Gu Jun Pyo..he carries out his role nicely but alas the acting department is fairly lacking in this drama as aprt frm a good acting by a few this drama suffers from robotic acting..the actress really doesn know how to act..Ga Eul was far better an actress than Geum Jan di..
this drama has tonnes of glamour unlike the other two versions of the drama.from sports cars to good fashion sense this drama is light on the eyes.it also has lots of eye candy so its good to see such good looking guys onscreen.Kim Bum did a good job.Yi Sung's and Ga eul's love story was more on the cutter side adding to the charm
too much of anything is bad therefore this drama really streches the nerves to an extent where one cant properly breathe.the leads go through so much that its hard to believe that the heroine's life could be endangered so many times.therefore this drama creates conflicts just for the sake of the conflicts.
its suffers from bad writing and directing
it also drags in a lot of parts that at episode 24 one almost wants to pull out the hairs and scream jst why.if they had just finished it in 20 i would have been one happy girl
i give it a 4 for the music score because the songs are repeated like a gazilion times decreasing its uniqueness
the rewatch value is less too because this for me atleast is one drama where u will love it less the more you rewatch it..leave it at its innocent best after watching it once.
overall its a good one.a must watch for the the romantics out there..:)

I really adore Haruhi and liked her character a lot. The Host Club idea was also very good. I think this would make a much better watch as an anime rather than a regular show. That's because cartoons can overact all the time and still not bore us; but Tamaki's reactions got way too annoying by the end. It was too unreal. It still makes you laugh, though. I loved all the other Hosts equally. The show had some memorable moments especially those with Nekozawa and his black magic jokes were probably the best.
What I also liked was that the characters had depth in spite of their goofy actions- especially Tamaki. Him treating Haruhi as his own daughter had me laughing out loud. And Haruhi's transvestite father was good for a laugh. Only the member with the teddy bear was ridiculous. The highlight of all jokes is probably the homoerotic/incest relationship between the twins. Really, this show had one of the funniest jokes I have ever come across in a drama. Now I am tempted to indulge in the anime as well as the manga.
This drama is worth the watch and it ends pretty quickly- each episode spanning only 20 minutes and with only 11 episodes it is a quick watch. It never drags on and there are fresh jokes in every episode. I probably laughed hardest at the ending scene. Anime-type expressions came out to be the best from Haruhi.

I found the story really ridiculous at times but funny at other times. The friendship/romance between the leads was very simple. The ending had many things left open. Still this was a very watchable school drama. I didn’t find the focus on the Kendo club all that interesting though.
I didn’t know any of the actors before watching and I probably wont think of them again after. The acting was just okay by most with no one really standing out. The leads did have a cute chemistry, which I appreciated.
Overall this is one of those dramas you watch when your in a mood for a funny school drama but you’ve seen all the best ones.

>>Eventhough the drama seems like its about Kpop groups and music, its really about friendship and coming off age...Difficulties of growing up and becoming an adult. It was also about family and family problems...
Thats why the plot has a lot to offer. And its very fluid and easy to watch.
>>Acting was very natural, and there was a very nice chemistry between
the actors.I loved it.
>>Overall this is a very nice drama and I highly recommend it to you :)

The 'twist' lives up to its expectations and I doubt many will see it coming.
All in all, if you're looking for a casual, somewhat good BL drama to watch, this is probably something for you.

It's funny, lighthearted and everything you'd expect from a Drama version of the beloved series. I felt like I was watching the Anime/Manga characters come to life. They could not have picked anyone better to play the main cast.
My only complaint is how short it is; it /does/ follow the Anime storyline, but I was hoping to see more episodes from this Drama.
Nevertheless, the series is perfect in every other way. I'd highly recommend it to EVERYONE.

My favorite part of the drama was actually the music, namely the ending song. The acting was alright and the overall story was about the same. It's nice if you enjoy a casual BL story, but if you're looking for an amazing BL drama.. this is not it.
If you're bored and can't find anything else to watch, it's a somewhat-okay drama, but that's about it.

You think you know where the story is going, but then they throw a few "huh!?" moments at you. It keeps you on your seat, eagerly waiting to find out what happens next.
It's a very dramatic yet touching story and something I would recommend to those who enjoy a good plot filled with the twists and turns we all know and love from dramas.
(Though a warning to those with triggers, as there are some light ones)

~Story~
First off, it's a brilliantly written comedy featuring badass YAKUZA. How does this NOT get butts in seats in anticipation to this show!? This show is freakin' hysterical; I think I considered rakugo as a profession for a while (it gives me an excuse to rewatch the show too). I questioned my own manliness as I saw Tora, the most loyal, manly yakuza this side of Shibuya, grace the screen. His glare of anger will strike fear into the most hard-boiled viewers; I thought his eyebrow-muscles were permanently altered to give off such glares. When I become a Yakuza boss (in my dreams), I WILL hire Tora at all costs. Even though he's part of a questionable organization, you realize he is a man of loyalty to a great faction in Yakuza.
The show mostly features Tora's (and Ryuji's) daily life once Tora learned of rakugo. Tora really sucks at rakugo (or just making anyone laugh, as his story-telling skills are the same as Buzz Kilington), but practices like a champ. For the most part, each episode features Tora describing how a real-life event is similar to the story his master told earlier; flashing back to the moments where the real-life action took place. The drum beat when they announce Tora's rakugo act is still second-nature to me; I still expect his stories. Tora even grew better as a storyteller as the story progresses, becoming a stage-favorite.
At the beginning, the blend of his rakugoka (traditional Japanese comedian) job at day, and debt-collecting Yakuza at night was comedic. However, Kudo-sensei couldn't just leave it at that. The Yakuza part of Tora's life is a major part of who he is as a person, and owes his life to his organization. As the story DEVELOPS (mature story development in a comedy!? OMIGERDZ!), you realize how Tora and his life isn't a comedy. I won't say much about the ending, but it was PERFECT. I'm sad that the ride ended, but it was one of the best. The post-drama haze is strong. It's been about a week, and I'm still wondering when I'll hear a story from Tora.
~Acting/Cast~
The cast consists of actors Kudo has worked with in the past, and in the future. Nagase is an excellent actor; the way he shows emotion with his whole face is a rare talent. It doesn't even need to be an over-the-top moment; you FEEL his character. I first saw him as the self-conceited detective from "Unubore Deka," but that disappear once he spoke. I admire actors with versatility in their roles. I can't praise his acting enough without turning this review into "Why I love Nagase Tomoya: his face." Junichi also acted as the easy-to-anger shopkeeper who is somewhat insecure about his clothes. News flash: he sucks as a designer; brace the bizarre fashion he thinks is "cool." Seriously, these actors from Johnny's are NOT just pretty faces; they have acting chops that are on par with non-idol actors.
The rest of the cast instantly grow as their characters. The show makes you feel like you're watching a family, not a group of actors. The show features visualizations Tora sees when he hears master's stories; the cast act as the characters in the rakugo stories extremely well. I LOVE versatility in actors! The actors/actresses in this show just makes you feel right. They feel natural in their roles; which is the best thing for viewers to be immersed in the story's universe.
~Music~
Being a drama with Yakuza, they have some Yakuza music. My favorite song from the OST was "Tiger & Dragon" from the Crazy Ken Band. The song (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_rwW7Qx9z2E) describes the Yakuza vibe from Tora quite well. The ending theme was from V6, as most dramas featuring Johnny's HAVE to feature a Johnny's song SOMEWHERE. It was a bit out-of-place, being the idol song in a drama with a solid OST featuring the Crazy Ken Band, but the song grew on me. Your mileage may vary, as there are probably some people who aren't too keen on pop music, especially idol music.
~Conclusion~
This drama is another show to add to my shrine of Kudo-worship. It's funny, grows up with you, and is touching. Really, it's a show to watch if you have a sense of humor, love Yakuza, or want to learn about a great & original writer working in the industry right now.
