You can get back with an ex?

Well, they don't really hate me much, but I don't like Indian movies because there tends to be a lot of excessive singing and dancing and it's not my personal taste, but here they knew how to balance this well. The dance was beautiful, the music was fun, and the clothes were beautiful.

It's good to see this because if you're not that familiar with Indian-Thai culture you can learn a lot of things. I didn't know they had so many rituals for getting married, it was fascinating to discover why those rituals are done and the meaning.

The story: there's really nothing new, let's just say that Risa is forced to meet up with her two ex-boyfriends. You will think that this is going to be a disaster Because whenever you meet a person who was your partner in the past, feelings are rekindled and even more so if there are two of you! But there was no drama about that here.

Risa acts very well and so does Tim. I'm like Tim's personality, he seems carefree but deep down he isn't. He is a silent observer. He is fun and also knows how to do many things.

About Arun he seemed a little bland to me, just like Monica. Although they actually acted very well.

Bright is a very versatile artist and that's what I like about him, he can go from being funny to a person who is passionate about what he is doing and serious. Plus his English doesn't bother me at all.

Bella, I'm sorry but why do you find something wrong with his English? For me he speaks very well. Plus she dances very well. Although it is not a good idea to ride a horse with shoes hahaha.

You can get back with an ex In real life I would say no, although it usually happens when the relationship ends on good terms. And Risa and Tim had very good chemistry and complemented each other very well.

Now I'm not telling you to go running to find your ex, okay. Sometimes only life takes care of meeting that person again and it doesn't mean that you will get back together.

I say the movie is simple, with many clichés involved, "funny" scenes that for me were not funny (sorry, I guess I will never find fun in the things that Thais find funny) and you will not find a great reflection on life and your past relationships.

This is just a romantic comedy to pass the time. And it's good because despite what I mentioned you don't get bored, even though you know what's going to happen. It's good because you're going to learn things about both cultures that if you're not as familiar (like me with India) you're going to find interesting.

If you are looking to see something light and fun, I recommend it.

It also addresses themes such as sacrifice and resilience in the face of great risks. Cha Kyung-min appears as a brave and determined girl, and she plays a crucial role in the group's survival, making her character one of the bright spots in this exciting film.

It's just very bad recap

I didn't expect much from this movie as I've read all your reviews before watching it but it still left me totally disappointed...
My main issue with it is that I can't really grasp which audience directors had in mind - for fans like me it should contain more new scenes, not only some crumbs and I defo wouldn't recommend this for a new people as editing was such a mess and everything what I loved in the series wasn't here, it felt totally dry and hectic. It isn't even good as a short "recap" cuz all best scenes, all teasing and magic is gone. Soooo... If you want to watch new scenes just watch the beginning and ending and if you are interested in 2gether just go watch the series and don't waste your time for this.

a movie everyone needs to see.

Um filme que exala beleza, um filme que é extremamente humano, traumas que temos no passado pode mudar a gente no presente, criando uma nova personalidade por trás disso.

O filme entrou pro meu top 1, não é muito do que falar, virou meu filme favorito e o melhor que eu já vi. Um filme sentimental que trás a todos uma mensagem sobre superar um trauma, passamos o filme vendo o protagonista conhecido como Diretor onde ele conhece uma Garota que não sabemos o nome durante o filme inteiro. O Diretor quer fazer o seu filme, por isso que ele fica filmando o seu dia a dia com a Garota.

Esse filme teve o mesmo sentimento que eu tive com "O Menino e a Garça", você cria um mundo da sua cabeça para escapar do seu trauma, a Garota faz isso basicamente "matando" as coisas ruins de sua mente, escapando do verdadeiro e do real. Mas, sabemos que isso não pode durar para sempre, e é exatamente isso que rola ao decorrer do filme.

"Amanhã é meu aniversário."

A Garota cria uma dependência com o Diretor, já que ele basicamente ficou com ela durante 30 dias, até a chegada de sua Mãe onde queria o seu perdão.

A melhor cena para mim nesse filme, é quando a garota começa a surtar, onde ela quebra tudo e sai correndo que nem louca. Detalhe disso tudo é a música tocando de fundo, você se sente angustiado pensando o que pode rolar daqui para frente, a música fica o tempo todo rolando quando ela quebra tudo.

A Garota tenta escapar de seu passado, criando o seu próprio mundo imaginário, apesar do que ela diz a si mesma, a família da garota está viva, ela provavelmente não foi tocada em nenhum momento, só ao longo de seus anos vivendo com a sua mãe, ela foi insultada, culpada e comparada, não recebeu o respeito ou mesmo a validação como uma pessoa que ela merece, o que acabou afetando ela durante esse tempo.
A razão pela qual ela não ter pulou daquele telhado pode muito bem ser devido às mentiras que ela continuou contando a si mesma e todo o seu "ritual" que ela faz.

Necessitamos de alguém em nossa vida, a Garota precisa do Diretor para conseguir superar os seus traumas. Somos seres vulneráveis, podemos surtar a qualquer momento, podemos ficar tristes a qualquer momento. Só que, para mim, esse filme ensina que você pode superar seus traumas, o filme ensina que com alguém ao seu lado, você possa superar algo. Pode demorar muito, mas você consegue superar.

Hideaki Anno é um mestre na direção, a cinematografia desse filme é linda, bonita e azul.

As atuações desse filme são espetaculares demais, Shunji Iwai e Ayako Fujitani são bons atores, Shunji manda muito bem na atuação, mesmo sendo algo simples... Quem brilha mesmo é a Fujitani, toda o ódio, loucura e tristeza ela consegue fazer isso de forma linda.

Talvez eu seja muito otimista durante esse filme todo para dá uma nota tão alta, mas esse filme me cativou muito. Espero que mais pessoas assistam e curtam o filme.

"I don't have time to get mad anymore"

Filipina director Mae Cruz Alviar and writer Enrico Santos put their own stamp on the relationship time travel trope. They didn’t break new ground but they did commit to their story and characters in a way that came across as authentic.

Mary and John have been married for years and have a son together. Mary still deeply loves John and has built her world around helping him to fly while John has become selfish and angry. John never has time for her or their son, Austin, especially after Austin failed to make the football team. Austin tells his dad that Lodz has been talking with him and that everything is going to work out, his dad just has to figure out what he really wants. John asks who Lodz is and Austin shows him a picture of Jesus. When Mary dies the next day, John has his own meeting with Lodz who has a proposition for the guilt-ridden man.

John had a little over a day to put things right and save Mary. Not really long enough to have a complete personality change and to its credit the film showed John faltering at his first challenge. He was smacked upside his head with what was really of value in his life and how much time he’d wasted thinking only of work and himself. The people around him had suffered and been starved of his affection and attention. Mary was a skilled chef and she wanted to fly. Austin was a gifted pianist ready to fly if given the chance as well. John’s eyes were opened to the love and happiness he’d been shutting out for years and how badly he’d hurt his family.

Few people are given second chances and John learned about redemption, accountability, and regret in a crash course delivered by an electrician to help him see the light. Normally, this is the type of film I’d give a 7.5 to for being a good average movie, but I bumped it up for the commitment the filmmakers showed until the end to not take the easy way out.

SUCH A GOOD KDRAMA OR MORE OF A MOVIE

This kdrama was such a fun drama that I watched this drama or actually movie twice. Not only the movie was nice but also the people who acted in it. Like the boy is so handsome and the woman is so beautiful and young. I think it's a shame that the girl only knew that the boy had died after 15 years. I also really like the chemistry between the two. The boy was afraid of heights but still went into the attraction to tell her his feelings. The letter he had written for her was a really beautiful letter that really brought a tear to my eye. Bo-ra went on a blind date and that man said the same thing as her ex which made her cry, I felt really bad for her. She and her friends are so sweet to each other, they had a fight with each other, but they still gave a lot of hugs. I'm glad the girl had the hard operation. The music style of this drama is also very good but not the best. I would definitely watch this film drama again for the third time, this was my own little review, hopefully it helped you, I definitely recommend watching this drama, I shed a few tears myself, but now I'm really saying goodbye BYE PS CHIARA PLACENTI

It’s just a fun compilation of different characters dying because they were unlucky enough to step foot in the cursed house. - more or less that’s the plot.

If this is your first Ju-On movie, you won’t get much history and background of the curse and how it was born. There are some hints, but they do not serve as a cohesive set up for the story. That said, I strongly believe we don’t need that here.

In horror less often means more, especially if we talk about the supernatural. The harder the story tries to explain things, the more convoluted and boring it gets. I appreciate how we get none of that here. Just a creepy lady with a creepy meowing kid killing people because they are pissed about their crap life. That kid… personally scared me more than the pro yoga mother rolling down the stairs.

It’s short, but effective for a midnight watch in a dark room.

Who are you - the question we don’t have an answer to.

Realistically speaking, I understood around 80% of the movie. There are many things that are just hinted at, especially about the details of the resolutions/conclusions. Does it bother me? No. If anything, it makes me more interested in potential rewatch to see if I missed anything. The movie presents a lot of questions, but not all the answers.

How much do we change and curate ourselves to match social expectations and responsibilities set by the roles we decide to take? On the other hand, is following our desires the true freedom or just another cage? Driven by desires or led by society - where is the freedom in both, where is the place for personal choices?

These are the questions I kept thinking about while watching Cure. It also reminded me that we as humans love to simplify everything - binary thinking is easier. Extreme solution to mundane problems - that’s how I saw the freedom Mamiya was spreading. Momentary freedom that led to more restraints. Because living is not as simple as always doing what others expect you to do, nor is it simply following your current needs. Forcing others to adhere to your narrow definition of freedom is not setting them free, it’s just taking the leash in your own hands and controlling them by your own standards.

Cure is a great psychological mystery that masterfully crafts the tension. The longer I watched, the more I wanted to get the answers, but by the end, I was fine with still wondering. Strangely it felt as if I was given the freedom to find my own conclusion. It’s not a typical crime movie where we want to know who did it. Rather, we desperately try to figure out why it was done. It’s slow and atmospheric.

With a script like that you need charismatic actors to pull it off. And I was blessed with Yakusho Koji’s performance as Takabe Kenichi - a detective and husband, who struggles with maintaining these two roles, slowly cracking under the pressure. Hagiwara Masato as Mamiya Kunihiko was simply terrifying. Something about that detached, but piercing presence made me feel extremely uncomfortable.

Editing and production was truly perfect. From longer and uncut scenes that created the tension, or the quick cut flashes of moments and frames, that in addition to giving important clues, served as a good indicator of the shift of perspective and the connections the main lead made.

Overall, highly recommend to all the folks who liked to be asked questions and not get conclusive answers, making your own brain do the work. Less investigation, more philosophical. Slow pace might deter some people from watching - proper watching conditions might be the key to enjoyment.

Interesting plot but the overall impact falls short

This is one of the rare shows I occasionally watch impulsively after seeing a short-form video highlighting Suzy and Park BoGum's story. At first, I actually thought it was a series and thought that the main story was about Suzy and BoGum but as it turns out, their story is just one of the mini-stories within the bigger picture of the movie.

Personally, I think the premise is really interesting and I do love sci-fi. I've watched a couple of K-movies that made me change my mind positively towards their films (like Space Sweeper, etc.), but this one falls short for me. The plot seems to be underdeveloped. I didn't feel as immersed as usual because I think the key with the sci-fi genre is the storytelling that makes you believe it can be a reality -- in the not-so-far future or even if it can't be, it's at least emotionally relatable. I feel like I needed a lot more context to feel the characters fully.

It was kind of disappointing specially seeing some star-studded Halyu star faces. I felt like their potential was not maximized more than how we usually see them on other shows. Still I feel like it's a decent watch. The CGI is definitely high quality -- not the best but better than most.

This still could be a good weekend watch. Might be something you would enjoy. Personally, after watching a lot of shows, I felt like being a critic that minor details feels off for me.
