Zéro affinité
Je ne dirai pas que c'est mauvais. Ce n'est juste pas ma tasse de thé.La réalisation est plutôt bonne, avec un dynamisme certain. Mais.
1. Je ne suis pas du tout fan de cette ambiance crue et provocatrice. Le délire du type "american pie" ne me fait pas sourire. La fameuse et délirante scène dans la classe (ceux qui l'auront vu, sauront de quoi je parle) est plutôt originale et je peux comprendre que cela puisse plaire. Je la trouve pour ma part assez choquante... Le film est donc parsemé de ces scènes qui sans tomber dans le voyeurisme n'en sont pas moins "lourdes". Cela me dérange cette image de ces futurs adultes, qui vivent dans la crasse, à poil, se m***** à longueur de journée ou qui s'en donnent à coeur joie sous la douche. Je ne suis pas pour ma normalité. Mais pour la diversité. Oubliez ici l'homme timide, l'homme viril, l'homme blasé, l'homme intelligent, l'homme droit, l'homme violent, l'homme fidèle....non, ils sont tous pareil, ne pensant tous qu'à une chose. Assez dégradant, n'est-ce pas?
2. et les femmes dans tout cela? Elles n'ont surement pas le beau rôle. Un rôle extra secondaire comme les mères. secondaire comme la copine qui ne sert à rien. Ou comme l'héroïne, pure comme la neige et qui selon moi n'a au final aucun caractère. Je pense encore friendzone où j'ai trouvé Palm tellement marrante, délirante et adorable, en comparaison, Chia Yi est fade. C'est dommage, je la trouvais jolie avec un magnifique sourire...
3. La romance....La fin ne me dérange pas. Mais il faut avouer que l'alchimie n'est pas ce qui brille dans ce film, même si elle n'est pas non plus mauvaise. Mais je n'ai pu à aucun moment ressentir leur amour l'un pour l'autre. Leur intérêt oui. Mais, je dirais que c'est tout.
Je n'ai donc pas su trouver quelque chose à m'accrocher, et bien que cela ne soit pas un mauvais film, c'est loin d'être un truc qui me fasse rêver ou rire pendant 1h40...et la version japonaise, sans être autant provocante, ne fait que reprendre les même ficelles, ce qui me laisse penser que c'est donc l'histoire qui n'a pas su me toucher.
Ah...j'ai oublié, la seule chose qui a su me toucher, et je dois l'admettre, c'est aussi ce qui m'a fait venir vers ce film : la chanson....Je trouve la chanson juste magnifique!

Unhinged and exciting performance of Kim Seon Ho, you might never see him the same way ^O^
This very gore action movie took me by surprise. I found it pretty good on some aspects: pacing, some great actions sequences with some shocking moments with disturbingly big amounts of blood. Where it missed slightly the mark for me was in terms of characters likeability. Everyone is kind of detestable so I was not very invested in the survival of anyone. The man hunt was still pretty entertaining but would have been better if I care about the protagonist being chased.I watched this film for Kim Seon Ho and was not expecting to see him in such a different role. He did not disappoint and provide a very good performance playing an unhinged and quite crazy hitman. On the other hand, I found Kang Tae Joo lacking in terms of charisma next to him. Hiq role was central to the plot but with very few dialogs, so I am not sure if it is the script or the actor who is the most at fault here. The other side characters were good overall, fitting well with the craziness and over-the-top actions sequences.
If the soundtrack did not stand out to me, I was impressed by the production value and I found the parodic undertone enjoyable. The fight scenes were good, the gory details were really bringing the film together, making the picture daunting but still beautiful in a way. The chasing scenes with cars or just characters running were well put together and successfully stressful.
I would recommend this to people that are looking for a thrilling action movie and do not mind gore. If too much blood is not your thing or if character likeability or relatability is important to you, do not watch this movie. I had personally a good time watching it and I am wondering if a second watch would help me appreciate some of the characters and plot elements better (such as the ending which left me an uncanny feeling regarding the movie's morale and meaning).

BWH&H 8: A Disappointing End
I don't know where to begin with this one. It might just be the culmination of this trilogy altogether that soured my views towards it, as it really just feels too similar to the previous two New Battles movies. But I do have to admit, there were some very odd choices with regards to story direction with this one that I can't shake days after watching. The whole weird brother/sister thing that wasn't necessary, for instance (if you know, you know). On the whole, this just seemed like it existed for the sake of it being a trilogy.We're once again given a completely new cast of characters with many of the returning actors, and again I'm left scratching my head as to why. It almost feels as though this is a remake of the Boss' Head, as it covers most of the same beats. I also found it more difficult to follow who was who, and it just felt kind of exhausting to figure out. None of the characters stick out, and we're meant to loathe them all equally.
This weird trilogy goes out with a whimper, even though we're treated to an ending unlike we've seen before, the open-endedness of it feels like a copout. If you're going to watch all 8 films, I would say watch the first 5 back-to-back, and then space this trilogy out a bit.

Crazy Love Story Which The Ending Story Goes Downhill
The first-half story line is fine but the second-half goes down to the bottom.FL (June) had a few boy-friends in her school day. She might like one of her school friend (Guy) but did not know what Guy thought about her. Then June grows up and meets a man (Pete) whom really loves and is very nice to her … and it seems that she does not love him as much as he does. Pete proposes and give an engagement ring to June. June accepts and decides to stay with Pete although they are not yet married. When June meets Guy in one-day, she starts to waver to him and starts to doubt about his feeling to her in the past, The written story reveals that they both might like or love each other back to their school-day. June and Guy can not hold their feelings and end up having a kiss in a photo booth.
Then June comes back home to talk with Pete that it is hard for her to stay with him and tells Pete that she is not good for him and he has done nothing wrong. Pete still does not understand why June wants to end the relationship. While they are talking, Guy shows his SELFISH character by sending a photo of his kissing with June to Pete b/c he badly wants June to be with him. This scene, IMO, obviously portrays Guy’s unforgiven behavior in insulting June, the girl whom he loves … and June’s selfish behavior in thinking about herself and NOT caring the man whom loves her so much. The kissing photo makes Pete feel upset and finally Pete and June end their relationship.
Then June decides to fly aboard to escape her guilty feeling in hurting Pete. It is so disappointing that the story does NOT show ENOUGH growth or learning for both June and Guy ….. The ending story is when June comes back and meets Guy in a party, it portrays that they both feel sad on what they had done and forgive themselves which the (opening) direction that June and Guy may start their relationship.

Gay straight pairing ... Light BL vibes ... A good one though
As my headline suggests .. they made a gay- straight pairing. Maybe that's why there was no intimate or even a kiss scene between the leads but their chemistry was bang on!The story moves slowly and gets interesting as it progresses.
The acting is pretty good.
The theme seems to be BL but it is light hearted comic cop story with little sadness and twist here and there.
My BL heart really wished for a different ending or atleast a final kiss between the leads to make up for the ending bcoz even though one of the lead claimed himself to be "Straight" but you can find him slowly falling for the other lead.
Anyway, overall a good movie to watch and kill time.

This movie was great until the ending. The ending shifts the entire film into a depressing perspective, despite the attempt at an uplifting conclusion.There were truly no winners here and that is life, but damn! I thought Riku was being genuine when making amends, I did not expect that R scene. It is sad that Ichiyo took his own life, his mental stability fell so fast and rejection lead him to end his life. Amakami did nothing wrong... yet he suffered the most.
Again that's life. But I hate reality. ?
In terms of acting, this was very well done. The movie itself is good, but the sad ending ruined it for me.

This was a brain twister and deep SyFy Fantasy Movie and a must see for me.
Here is a quick Korean or Chinese drama downtime moment that will only take an hour and one half of your time, but will stick to you with afterthoughts for several days after viewing. This is the Romance Fantasy movie 0.1% World. Personally, I could loop this movie over and over and not discover all that is there to take in. 0.1% World is the story about a girl and boy living on different continents. Inexplicably, they get linked to each other’s brains. They can hear each other, talk to each other and at times even move the body parts of the other. Because they live in different time zones and on different continents, it becomes a challenge to live and fashion life under these circumstances of a mind meld. Neither one wants to know the identity of the other at first. They just need to placate the problem by learning how to live with each other, sharing lives as they do, and not get in each other’s way, until they figure out how to fix the problem. Ultimately, what does this shared experience do for them? This Chinese SyFy Fantasy movie blew my mind. It invoked such deep thought surrounding their dilemma and how they chose to resolve certain issues.The stars of the Chinese film are Zhou Yi Ran from ‘When You Be Me’ (2022) and Patrick Shih from ‘Someday or One Day’ (2022). I recommend both works by both actors in addition to their collaboration in 0.1% World.
These two travel through Discovery, Compliance, to Discord in 0.1% World.

Both actors give dynamic deliveries in 1% World. Taiwanese actor Patrick Shih often has been compared to Park Seo Joon by Netizens. He speaks fluent German in this movie, 0.1% World.
Zhou Yi Ran is also a great young Chinese actress. Her acting abilities and range of acting are fully on display in ‘When You Be Me’.

En cuanto a los personajes son inmejorables!! En esta película podemos ver que es cierto lo de que los polos opuestos se atraen. La protagonista femenina es una mujer alegre y divertida con comentarios graciosos mientras que el protagonista masculino es todo lo contrario, es una persona seria y tranquila, aunque todo cambia cuando están juntos. Y eso es otra cosa maravillosa de la película, ver cómo ambos van cambiando personalmente gracias a la relación que mantienen.
Como he dicho con anterioridad, al no tener escenas super románticas hasta el punto de ser cansada, la historia se ve muy fácilmente y el tiempo de la película se pasa rápido y a buen ritmo (te dejará con ganas de más, seguro).
Pero hay una advertencia!! Si vas a ver Always, es mejor que te prepares un paquete de pañuelos de papel cerca, porque creeme, lo vas a necesitar. Esta es la película que tienes que ver una y otra vez cuando tienes días en los que no te sientas bien o cuando necesitas llorar.

Por lo general, en relación con las películas coreanas me suelen gustar aquellas que, como estas, relatan historias reales o cuentan una historia inventada pero con la base de una historia real. En este caso, el hecho real son los baby box o cajas de bebés que tienen muchas iglesias en Corea del Sur. La trama me ha parecido interesante, sin embargo, al principio me resultó un poco difícil meterme en la historia, pero pasados unos minutos fui entendiendo poco a poco.
Los personajes fueron los culpables de que esta película no la haya calificado con 10 estrellas ya que me resultó un poco incómodo (quizás por lo bien definidos que están). En la película, los personajes principales están cometiendo un delito, por lo que el espectador debería estar en contra de lo que están haciendo. Sin embargo, la profundidad que tienen los personajes hace que los puedas llegar a entender y “justificarlos” (aunque no existe justificación para lo que están haciendo).
Creo que la película tiene un buen ritmo y, a pesar de la complejidad de la historia y de los personajes, el tiempo se pasa rápido una vez que te metes en la historia. En relación con el final de la película, lo entendí y era el final obvio, pero si me dejó un deseo de que la historia hubiera terminado un poco diferente. Aun así es una película que recomiendo mucho para conocer partes de la cultura coreana que no es tan visible pero que existe como, por ejemplo, el abandono de bebés, el estigma de ser madre soltera o la necesidad de dinero.

Como dije en Broker, me gustan las películas coreanas que tratan sobre temas reales o que la base es una historia real. En el caso de esta película, no es necesario ser coreano o tener un gran conocimiento sobre la sociedad coreana dado que el problema que plantea es a nivel mundial. A día de hoy, perder el móvil es como perder parte de tu vida y esta película plantea el gran problema que nos puede ocasionar perder el móvil o tener un virus espía en él ya que damos el poder a otra persona de conocer toda nuestra vida.
En cuanto a los personajes me han parecido maravillosos, sin embargo, al principio me sonó raro que el protagonista fuera ese actor ya que con la cara de bueno y de bebé que tiene me resultaba difícil verlo en el papel del acosador, aunque también es entendible dado que nadie sospecha de él.
El ritmo de la película creo que bastante bueno, al principio se me hizo un poco pesado pero después fue mucho más ameno dado que no te deja respirar ni un momento porque siempre están pasando cosas. Por lo tanto, es una película que recomiendo mucho y que creo que nos ayuda a pensar en la importancia que tiene el móvil en nuestras vidas.

En el caso de The Host, quizás es la que menos me gustó pero aún así la recomiendo muchísimo. La trama se centra en hacer una crítica social a Corea, como es normal en las películas del director, en este caso centrado en la contaminación de las aguas del río Han y el resultado que este tiene, la creación de un monstruo que aterroriza a la población de Seúl cuando despierta.
Los personajes me parecieron entrañables y es que Bong Joon-Ho suele crear personajes en sus películas que tienen la mezcla exacta de humor, ridiculez y coraje, algo que hace que la trama se pase muy rápido y entretenida.
El director suele hacer películas donde la trama no es muy complicada, a pesar de la denuncia social que realiza, lo que hace que sea fácil de ver y que el espectador no se líe con cuestiones que puedan entorpecer el entendimiento de la película. Por lo que en The Host, la historia es sencilla y fácil de seguir. Sin embargo, también te mantiene alerta en todo momento ya que también cuenta con la cantidad exacta de suspense.
Si quieres comenzar con el cine coreano, recomiendo mucho las películas de este director, Bong Joon-Ho y The Host, junto con Parásitos, es una de las más famosas.

En relación con los personajes, me gustó mucho el sentimiento de hermandad que se mantiene en toda la película y el hecho de que vayan todos a una y cómo ese trabajo les ayuda a conseguir su objetivo.
En general no ha sido una película muy memorable para mí (no me suelen gustar mucho las películas de acción) pero sí que está bien para pasar el rato cuando no sabes qué ver o para aprender más sobre la historia reciente de Corea.

La relación entre los protagonistas no me gustó y no sentí la química al igual que la relación entre los compañeros de trabajo que se me hizo bastante forzado.
No es una película que haya visto recientemente pero no recuerdo ningún momentos destacable que mereciera la pena. Y, si no recuerdo mal, tenía como algunos saltos en el tiempo que me hicieron salirme de la trama varias veces.
Sin embargo, si tus gustos en películas coreanas van más hacia el romance, quizás deberías de darle una oportunidad. Que no me haya gustado no significa que sea una mala película, solamente que no era para mi.

La trama, en general, está muy bien construida y es fácil de ver y de seguir.
En cuanto a los personajes, me gustó mucho la relación que se crea entre los protagonistas a pesar de la diferencia temporal que hay entre ellos, aunque sí que me hubiera gustado que se desarrollara mucho más.
Es una buena película para pasar el rato y desconectar, con una trama sencilla y bonita.

La historia del libro ayuda a exponer y retratar, a través del personaje Kim Ji Young la sociedad coreana y principalmente la realidad de las mujeres en Corea del Sur. Sin embargo, no siento que esto haya sido algo que se haya respetado en la película. Kim Ji Young en la película ha sido relegada a un segundo plano para dejar espacio y el papel más principal al personaje masculino (me duele decir esto porque está protagonizado por mi marido Gong yoo, pero la verdad es la verdad). Por lo tanto, creo que este es el principal y peor error de la película. La historia intenta exponer la realidad de las mujeres en una sociedad machista y al dar más protagonismo al hombre que a la mujer vuelven a caer en lo mismo, en el machismo que hay en todos los ámbitos. Utilizaron el tirón y la importancia de este libro y la historia que cuenta para realizar una película que la gente quisiera ver sin saber cómo la iban a destrozar. Por lo tanto, ver esta película fue un fracaso total. La puntuación no es tan baja porque a fin de cuentas si siguen la historia del libro pero más desde el punto masculino que desde el femenino, dejando a la mujer muchas veces retratada como una loca (cayendo en otro tópico).
Por lo tanto, no es una película que recomiende al 100%, si quieren saber más sobre esta historia les recomiendo totalmente el libro antes que la película.
