Ngao is supernatural/horror and Cheewit Puer is action/romance, but both have an ultra "pure"/innocent FL who acts as a purifying influence on the ML and all around her, have cheerful, bright personalities, and really are the ultimate force in setting the ML on a more righteous life path.

Appreciate that host club dance in 3 Will Be Free? You'll get more in Llong Ruk. In Llong Ruk a romance started in a host club is the center of the story, but it's not the central theme in 3 Will Be Free, though both have infidelity themes as well.

Both deal with romances with an older woman and a younger host-type guy, and both have infidelity themes and existing relationship troubles.

If you want to go completely down the "super sexy writer woos an innocent" path, you have to check out Pornographer. These two dramas share a lot of the same vibes but Pornographer is a lot more mature.

Bungaku Shojo has the same heavy chemistry, but doesn't move quite as fast. The FL is a functioning professional and not as empty-headed as the FL in Coffee & Vanilla. Bungake Shojo also doesn't suffer from so many unnecessary plot developments toward the end.

These are both "inexperienced romance writer/editor//mangaka finds love" dramas. Both short and fluffy and don't take up too much time or brain cells.

Both of these involve infidelity, betrayal and revenge. Both have characters that are getting close to the leads under false pretenses, and are relatively mature in content.

If you want to see another social commentary regarding gender roles and marriage in Japanese society, Nigeru wa Haji da ga Yaku ni Tatsu handles it very well, is a lot lighter with no controversial elements, and really dives deep on the concepts of housework and valued work in society/relationships. Kareshi wo Loan is considered more controversial and definitely has some darker elements.

I'm surprised this recommendation hasn't been made yet. Both involve a FL in a master/slave power dynamic with degradation themes where the woman holds the power (in theory). In Kono Otoko was Jinsei the ML is willing - in Kareshi wo Loan, the dynamic is a forced debt situation and the drama is considered pretty controversial/outrageous.

Both have girl squads bonding over drinks etc, except Sexy Central covers their stories more evenly and Fabulous 30 is centered more around the FL.

Similar feels of professional women trying to win at love and their careers, and sharing their joys/pain over drinks or dinner. Tokyo Tarareba is a bit more silly with comedic elements and is more focused on finding "the one".

Both have the girl squad feeling that explores ups/downs, betrayals, affairs, and bonding with friends over a drink. The drinks are heavier and wilder in Sexy Central, and the affairs are more central in Fukigen na Kajitsu.
