Both involve body swapping but while Switched has a darker theme and focuses on self-hatred and bullying, VV is more light-hearted and focuses on romance.

VV involves body swapping with a stranger from another universe while Switched involves body swapping with someone the characters already know.

Both shows revolve around the characters trying to adapt to their new lives while figuring out how to return to their original bodies.

Both are about badass FLs who are trained assassins fighting to reclaim a 'normal' life with someone they love while people from their past come back into their lives bringing trouble and secrets.

both have a similar concept of rivals-to-lovers where the two leads overcome their differences but must continue to pretend to dislike each other for the sake of their family/friends with chaos ensuing as a result.

also shares the following similarities:
- leads living in a dorm close to each other
- one having a secret crush on the other

both have the same concept of an enemies-to-lovers trope where one is the landlord at home but a subordinate at work while the other is a renter at home but the boss at work.

Both feature hitmen who write online novels or draws webtoons about their real experiences as hitmen under the guise of fiction, which leads to chaos and their lives changing forever.

LTNS is more about romance and action while H:AJ is more of an action comedy but they both have similar backbone stories of the hitman wanting to leave his life as a killer to start a life with his new family.

Overall both shows are different in plot, but they both feature a friendship group that are all LGBTQ+ members/allies.

Both shows also focus on the more realistic issues that gay men face, though P&D is more focussed on parenting while HO has more to do with friendships and love.

Both focus on strong friendships that revolve around the LGBTQ scene as well as a main character who has a complicated relationship with his "friend".

Both are very realistic and aim to show real, everyday experiences that gay men go through.

Both are web series that can be watched on Youtube and are small productions with a big heart.

Both are Filipino films about the same concept: NEVER MEET YOUR HEROES

Both are dark films about a young and naive character meeting their idol, only to realise that the person they've placed on a pedestal isn't who they thought they were. The 'idol' in both films manipulates and takes advantage of the innocent fan, putting them through situations that force them to face reality.

Both films feature a young, newcomer actor/actress as the lead, who absolutely kill their role and have won awards for these films.

Both are super similar in that one of the male leads is an exorcist who is fated with the other male lead, who can communicate with the supernatural or is a ghost themselves. The two leads have a comical relationship at first, which then becomes more serious as the plot progresses. In both movies, the leads are bound together by a contractual relationship of some sort.

Both are based off of BL manga, but have been turned into bromances for the movie version. Some of the characteristics are still noticeable though, such as a degree of possessiveness and long gazes, touches etc.

Both are very similar in terms of featuring the supernatural, ghosts, exorcisms (i guess) and bromance.

Both depict the loving relationship between a father and his son, who has autism/Asperger's.

Both are incredibly heartwarming and deal with the death of a loved one, as well as how their family adapts to the loss.

You will see some excellent messages in both about compassion, grief and love as well as some amazing character development and growth.

You will need a box of tissues for both :)

Vaguely similar in that the main leads are 'brothers' (not biologically), do not like each other very much when they first meet but end up developing into a more romantic-hinting relationship by the end. They both feature a father-son relationship and barely mention a mother.

The 1st story of YitB is similar to MtSB as they both revolve around a main character that is a cat who is able to transform into a very handsome, cute human male.

In Youths in the Breeze, the cat-dude has a cute relationship with his female owner, but she never sees him in his human form, leaving their relationship at just a pet-owner level. He instead shows his human and cat form to her younger brother, with whom he develops a close friendship/bromance with.

In Meow, the Secret Boy, the cat-dude develops a romantic relationship with his owner, who doesn't know that the dude is also her cat. He also develops a friendship with the 2nd lead, who is suspicious of his identity.
