Just finished watching this movie tonight, and I’m pretty much satisfied. The story was just like any ordinary zombie-movie, but this movie had this little pinch of romance, friendship(?) and also something metaphorical about the COVID-19 going on nowadays. The zombies here were much more scarier than the zombies in Train to Busan, but I think the zombies’ gestures were much more realistic in TtB. But, what I love about this movie is the happy ending! Who hates happy endings, am I right? ;) Plus points for that!
Overall, a 9/10, very thrilling and super fun to watch! ⭐️

WATCH AT YOUR OWN RISK: HEARTWARMING STORY THAT COULD MAKE YOU UGLY CRY ㅠㅠ
The movie I waited for so looong is finally here! I've been waiting for this movie since the trailer came out on YouTube and I just fell in love with the child actress and the overall storyline it's going to tell. This movie, surely amazes me.Let's start off with the storyline. The storyline isn't cliche, I've never seen one movie with this kind of storyline, but it's a little predictable for me. But don't get me wrong, it still hits you in the feels. Trust me. If you're looking for something light, but could still make you ugly cry and bawling your eyes out, this is definitely for you. Don't forget to prepare boxes of tissues right beside you! ⚠️ SPOILER: The only bad thing about the whole plot is nearly in the ending, why would they spend 10 years searching for a man with their real name, but suddenly could remember that he could possibly use another name? I would classify the ending as a happy one to answer all of you who might be curious whether to watch this movie or not. ⚠️
The acting. Superb! The child actress, 10/10, Sung Dong-il, Kim Hee Won and Ha Ji Won are no doubt. Their acting were spot-on! I was amazed especially by the child actress. She could portray her characters so perfectly, so excellently, in such a young age! When it comes to the acting, everything's perfect for me.
Overall, a really great movie I truly recommend for all of you! I would rate this movie with 100 stars if I could. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Reminder: Don’t skip the ending credits!! ;)

What else can I say about this drama? This drama was such a masterpiece. This was my first time watching a non-romance sports drama, which was probably my least-interested genre for a drama. I wasn’t that interested in watching this drama, but their achievement from winning the 56th Baeksang Awards as the ‘Best Drama’ made me more and more curious about what’s new and different from the rest of the nominated dramas. Most dramas I’ve finished watching has a rather boring first three until four episodes. But, Hot Stove League is different, the first three until four episodes were triggering, making us mlre and more interested in the upcoming episodes. The casts were awesome, their acting were all excellent. This drama mainly focuses on friendships and the management strategy for a losing baseball team, and by watching this drama, we could always learn to always strive for something eventhough it may seem impossible.
Overall, a 10/10 wouldn’t be enough to rate this drama. I’ve been blown away by amazing scenes and amazing acting that was shown in this drama. We hope to see Yoo Min Ho and other baseball players (with those awesome visuals hehe) again if possible. THANK YOU WRITER-NIM AND ALSO ALL OF THE CASTS FOR DELIVERING SUCH A BEAUTIFUL DRAMA. ⭐️

Entertaining comedy-action heist movie!
I never really have high expectations for this movie when I decided to watch. I know that there would be awesome casts and that the movie’s highly awaited, seeing how it’s promoted here and there (on Jessi Show and Running Man). So, why not watch it?This movie begins with Dong Gu, a tomb raider who has a revenge on “someone” (so it wouldn’t be much of a spoiler) after burying him when he was little and his dad alive. He eventually forms a troop of his own (everyone with different specialties) to fulfill the main mission (which is to steal a Joseon King’s original sword located in a fully secured tomb.
This movie is incredibly funny. Unlike The Thieves which focuses mainly on spy things, like climbing buildings or hacking systems, which could be so boring so predictable so illogically impossible, Collectors focuses more on the “planning” which is waaay more interesting in my opinion. Added with the right amount of real funny comedy, and NO betrayals, this is definitely my favorite Korean heist movie! Although the storyline is pretty much simple, even the ending was so simple, but it was yet again, unpredictable, topped with a comedic plot twist, this movie is SURPRISINGLY very good!
Jo Woo Jin and Im Won Hee’s character were my favorite characters. Super duper funny acting, not over the top, just the perfect amount of comedy. Shin Hye Sun’s character a total baddie, and judging by the ending... ⚠️ SPOILER: there’s a possibility of a season 2 where Shin Hye Sun would be helping Dong Goo and his team. ⚠️
Overall, an entertaining movie I would like to recommend all of you. No serious conflicts, no pointless fighting scenes, just pure teamwork and happy endings! A 9/10 for me! Definitely recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

As I watched this title, a quote came to my mind, “Whatever the world throws at me, I’ll stride with my violin.” No, I’m not a violinist - I’m not a musician to be exact. I’m just a piano student in a hiatus because of Covid hehe. But it got me right in the feels. Every music on this drama was just EXCELLENT.This drama never got into my watchlist right from the beginning. I’m never a melodrama lover to begin with, and I try to avoid watching them since the only romance drama I watch are romcoms and I prefer watching action and crime dramas. I watched this drama because of pure curiosity since the OST singers were just great and talented artists I really adore. However, this drama changed my mind, I began to enjoy the slow paced, gloomy, rather bland kind of drama. It was angsty, but fluffy at the same time, that’s what made me enjoy this drama and decided to watch until the end.
1st-9th episode: Gets better and better each episode
10th: The least interesting episode in my opinion
11th-13th: It was okay - what made it okay was the fact that it has a lot Jung Kyung & Hyeon Ho fluffs <3
14th-16th: YES. Loved it! Angsty but ends with pure fluffs
What I really like from this drama is that it has no cliches that most dramas always add. This drama has no childhood friends to lovers storyline, no rich man poor woman genre, just a plain but very beautiful storyline, new OG in the house! ;)
It’s been so long since I felt butterflies and that warm feeling on my stomach. The last time I felt those kind of feelings was when I read fanfictions long time ago *fangirl detected ;)*. Do You Like Brahms brought back those feelings and I really really liked it! I’ve never even stayed watching the previews at the end, but the OSTs of this drama made me stayed! Baekhyun, Chen, Taeyeon, G.O.D, Punch, Heize, Jo Yuri (IZ*ONE), K.Will were just so excellent. I just can’t explain how their voices made the drama 10x better. I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one who is now enjoying hearing classics especially Traumerei because of Joon Young :P
For people who had trouble in deciding to watch this or not or people who had trouble in deciding to continue or drop this drama, let me give you a head start warning ⚠️ This drama is only for those who can stand with fluffiness and a lot of crying scenes. It is predictable, but you’re not gonna regret watching it. Once you passed the 10th episode, it gets better and better so I prefer you don’t drop this drama. The acting, on the other hand, doesn’t really WOW me, but it’s really worth the watch ⚠️
I really wished Jung Kyung and Hyeon Ho had more screen time together, I really love this second-lead couple! :’( But overall, a really great drama I recommend. 9/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A movie filled with plenty of life lessons!
This. This is my kind of movie. The movie that suits my taste so perfectly. Revenge, but this time without violence. Watching this movie reminded me of Kim Sabu’s quote “Just because you vented your frustrations doesn’t mean you’ve gotten revenge. Even if you go around swinging a baseball bat for 100 days those people probably won’t remember your face. If you really want to get revenge.. become much better human being than those people. Don’t get revenge with anger, but with skill. If you don’t change, nothing else will either.”Some people might think the movie would be about Korean ladies speaking broken English for comedy, and that this movie may have a thin plot, I was also one of them at first. The title says it all, “Samjin Company English Class”. What could be so entertaining from watching people learning English? But let me tell you, this ‘English Class’ is way more important than what you think it is. The casts, all women? Yes, it’s mostly women. But the casts were amazing! They acted out every emotions every feelings so perfectly. The 3 main characters all had their different personalities and they acted out their roles flawlessly.
This movie would make you feel like you’re in a rollercoaster. You smile in the beginning, seeing the friendships; you laugh; then smile again, feeling proud of what women can achieve; you cry, because there would be some tearjerker scenes that made me fail to hold back my tears; then it ends with all smiles. Women empowerment would always be my favorite genre. I’m proud watching it!
This movie teaches us not to label each other, not to belittle anyone (especially women, and high school graduates in this movie), “nothing is impossible, because we are great.” Be extremely proud of yourself, do what you love and don’t let anyone tell you what to do. Stand up for what is right and fight for what you think is true.
These girlies deserve an applaud for their acting! Every of the actors and actresses are excellent. After watching Lee Sung Wook as an antagonist in Collectors yesterday, I met him one again here but as a protagonist LOL! The K-Movie world is a small world after all~~~ So, overall a 10/10 for me! Definitely recommended for all of you who needs a non-romance comedy movie about women empowerment! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The casts portrayed their characters excellently, and the story wasn’t cliche either. This movie shows how family isn’t always blood, but whom you find love in. This movie was light but also heartwarming, it made you smile but will also make you cry some parts near the ending. It’s beautiful how the writers can sum up this whole storyline and make a great happy ending.
Overall, a 9/10. A great family-movie to accompany you on this quarantine season! ⭐️

Not a comedy, but way less serious than any other disaster films!
Probably just like some of you, I thought this movie was a silly comedy. Judging by the trailer, and by having Lee Kwang Soo and Kim Sung Kyun as the main casts, how serious can it be? I decided to watch this movie expecting it to be something that could make me laugh, something lighthearted and silly, but I was wrong.Don’t get me wrong, I liked it. Quite a lot. It did have some silly scenes, but as the film goes on, it seemed a little forced, and I don’t think the comedy would go along well if they continued it until the end. Lee Kwang Soo can be as silly as always, and I did laugh in a few scenes here, but as a warning so that this film wouldn’t disappoint any of you guys, THIS IS NOT A COMEDY FILM. This is a film about a natural disaster, which mostly consists of serious and nervewracking scenes, and a teeny tiny bit of heart wrenching scenes.
All the casts did well here! Bravo! But it’s no surprise if its Cha Seung Won, Kim Sung Kyun, Lee Kwang Soo, Nam Da Reum and Kim Hye Jun, right? They are all excellent actors and actresses! However, some of the CGI effects bothered me at some point. It’s not that bad, but compared to EXIT or Along With The Gods that is also shooted almost fully in front of a green screen, Sinkhole could be done better.
But overall, it’s a great movie! The teamwork was super duper great! Loved the casts, loved the storyline, and I loved the movie! Totally enjoyable, an 8.5/10! ⭐️

The best thriller drama you’ll ever see!
Well... this drama was never on my Plan to Watch list, and I don’t really know much about it. I’m pretty sure I’ve seen the news somewhere about Shin Sung Rok, Lee Se Young and Ahn Bo Hyun as casts in a new drama, but I’ve never really pay attention to it, never was I interested in watching this drama. But then, after watching Lawless Lawyer that is light, predictable and maybe had a little too much romance in it, I decided to watch something heavier. Something that could blow my mind away. Something like Kairos.I stumbled upon this title as I was searching through the tags, which I forgot what tag was it. And... the reviews were all great! So I decided to give it a watch. Dang... the first episode LITERALLY blew my mind away. Have I ever seen something so intriguing like this? No. Have I ever seen a drama that introduced their conflicts as fast as this drama did? No. Am I loving this drama? Yes yes yes.
I think out of all the dramas I’ve watched, only both seasons of Secret Forest would be suitable if compared with Kairos. I rated both seasons of Secret Forest a 10, only because I haven’t seen Kairos. Kairos is truly truly an underrated gem, if Secret Forest deserves a 10, this deserves an 11! In Secret Forest, we can’t really feel the connection between characters since the main character, Hwang Si Mok, can’t really show any feelings. But here on Kairos, you’ll see beautiful relationships: starting from the friendship of the trio (Han Ae Ri, Im Geon Wook, Park Soo Jung), a mother-daughter relationship (Han Ae Ri and her mom), father-daughter relationship (Kim Seo Jin and Kim Da Bin) and just the teamwork between the main leads (Kim Seo Jin and Han Ae Ri). Most thriller dramas would often focus on solving the mystery, take revenge on the antagonists, some may part ways in the end showing that they have fully move on from the conflicting days. But this drama focuses more about cherishing every moments with their loved ones, and to mainly educate viewers to never regret anything going on in their lives.
There are times when we feel like going back to the past to fix some moments we regret. But apparently it’s not the best option. We see here in Kairos that connecting with the past didn’t solve any of their problems, but complicates them more.
The acting here in this drama, could be summed up to 1 word: EXTRAORDINARY. This drama could make you tear up then boil up in only split seconds. That’s how GOOD the acting really is. My first time watching Shin Sung Rok, Lee Se Young, Ahn Bo Hyun, Kang Seung Yoon, Nam Gyu Ri (and actually many more) as “important” / main characters and I’m astonished by their acting!
The storyline was written perfectly in my opinion. There weren’t any plotholes, no confusing storyline eventhough it’s mainly about time travel which could be very confusing at times. I must admit that some parts of the episode somewhere in the middle could be a little unentertaining, but the writers managed to make a super duper cool plot twist in each ending of the episode, making the viewers more curious about what’s coming next. Never have I seen plot twists as much and as beautiful as the plot twists in this one. The producers and the screenwriters did an awesome job with this drama!
The cinematography was TOP NOTCH. They took every scene with the percect angle, the editing made it even more awesome. So beautiful.
Overall, a 10/10, an 15/10 if I could. Kudos to every staff and each of the casts! You all ACED this drama! Truly an excellent drama to start my 2021. Let’s meet again if I’ll ever rewatch! ♥️

Although this movie didn’t make me cry at the last scenes, this movie is still way more epic than the first one. But in order to understand this movie, you need to watch the whole sequel. At the last parts, it was shown that D.O. or Won Dong Yeon is going to be the next mission for the trio and I’m super excited for it! Kim Hyang Gi having more scenes with D.O. is going to be something I really look forward to! ❤️
To sum up everything, I think this movie could be the one when you really want some fantasy realness and some historical-with-some-really-cool-action scenes! Great job to all the casts and directors! A 9.5/10 for sure ⭐️

I’ve been missing this kind of dramas since “The Fiery Priest”, like how the good side would make allies to defeat the opponent. And “Special Labor Inspector Mr. Jo” didn’t disappoint me one bit! There’s just a little part of the ending storyline that I wished could’ve been more relieving for me, like: Woo Do Hwa getting married to the prosecutor, Kim Ji Ran. But overall, even the ending, was brilliant! The casts were awesome and there are also some parts I found really funny, especially Ms.Oh’s expressions hahaha. The music, especially the ones played for every part Cheon Deok Gu and Ko Mal Sook was in was very soothing for me to hear: Will Be by Park Se Young. To conclude, this drama would be the one to watch if you really need some laugh-out-loud, some emotional, and some really cool scenes. If I could give more than a 10 for the ratings, I would give this drama a 100! Esta resenha foi útil para você?
I’m emotionally attached, you’ll do too! ❤️
If it wasn’t for my friend who kept on recommending me to watch this show, I wouldn’t even try watching it. I’m not someone who enjoys watching reality show, let alone a dating show. When she told me, “Just try watching it! It’s different,” I thought I’ll try. Never have I imagined myself getting so immersed in the show, really enjoying watching all of the members spending 2 weeks with each other. My heart fluttered, my eye got teary, and I felt irritated just like some of them did. I was emotionally attached and I really felt like I experienced all these myself. It became one of my comfort shows, I’ll watch them before going to bed, on the way to school, and even in the middle of classes. I’ll never forget this show! I promise I’ll rewatch them again as soon as I turn 20!

Unpopular opinion: Mediocre
The only reason I started watching this title was because I’m interested to see Seo Yea Ji in another drama after watching IOTNBO. I don’t think I’ve seen Lee Joon Gi’s drama except for Moon Lovers. I think his acting in Moon Lovers was great, but unfortunately his acting here on Lawless Lawyer disappoint me a little.Lawless Lawyer appreciates unpopular actors and actresses, making them as an important support role. The “gang” in this drama made the drama more interesting and more bearable. But sadly, it didn’t made me laugh. Lee Joon Gi’s acting here seems a little too arrogant. He dives deep into his role, and his acting’s a little overboard. After watching Seo Yea Ji here, I can now say that her acting improved A LOT. Her acting in IOTNBO is far more natural, and it looked effortlessly beautiful there. Her acting here seems a little forced in my opinion. On the other hand, the antagonists, Choi Min Soo and Lee Hye Young did a great job portraying their characters. Their accent was something that’s truly memorable to me as a viewer.
The story. It’s a little too perfect for me. The protagonists are portrayed too excellently. Every decision made by the protagonists is always right, and almost every of the assistants betray their boss. That storyline gets replayed and replayed all the time along this drama. As a result, it gets a little cringy. It gets a little boring near the end since the “main conflict” is revealed right from the very beginning. The problem is that the story moves too fast, the second half didn’t get their portion of conflict: more unnecessary fight scenes, and the couple’s relationship conflict. But I’m truly glad they wrapped it off nicely at the end (Ep. 16).
What I like about Lawless Lawyer is that it leaves you wondering of what will happen next at the end of every episode. They succeeded in doing that, eventhough the beginning-near ending may be a little boring. I think it would be so much better if this drama had no romance, or maybe if this drama had plenty conflicts to be solved each episodes, not just one big conflict for the whole 16 episodes.
Overall, a 6.5/10! ⭐️

Super intriguing storyline, excellent acting!!!
I can’t even begin expressing the feeling I felt when watching the movie. It was good, but it confuses me at the same time. There are some scenes that really needed some more explanations, but I managed to understand the whole plot til the end.You need to pay attention to every detail of the characters carefully to understand the storyline. Since it moves from the past to the future frequently, it could be very confusing at times. The writers and producers did a very good job portraying the scenes... it felt so REAL and terrifying.
Park Shin Hye’s acting were undoubtedly good, as usual. But Jeon Jung Seo’s acting caught my eye. She portrayed the ‘psycopath’ character so perfectly. It gave me chills when watching her scenes. Lee El’s acting were also very very good, despite the fact that she came on a very short time.
Overall, it was a nice watch! Totally recommended for all of you who needs something thrilling!! A little reminder: Don’t skip the ending, there are some extra scenes in the credits that could give you more plot twists! ;)

Can MyDramaList allow more than a 10 for the rating?
Woooh!!! What a super duper awesome ride! For someone who knew the ending and a big portion of the scenes, Reply 1988 succeeds in still capturing my heart from beginning to end. I’ve put this drama in my PTW list for the longest time, and I really really wanted to watch this drama at least once in my life because all I heard was how good this drama was. But as some of you know me from my reviews, I tend to avoid watching deep dramas, since I don’t want to cry a river while having people in my house watch me LOL. But I thought these past few weeks was the perfect time to start watching this drama, since I’m on my self-quarantine. So I did start, and wow, I think I found MY DRAMA.Where do I start? This drama is just spectacular! From the casts, the acting, the storyline, all the editings and all the very beautiful quotes, everything was just beyond perfection. Never have I ever seen a drama and thought, “Wow, why is the acting so natural? Are all these lines an ad-lib? Why don’t they look like they’re acting? It must be nice to act without having to memorize the lines since all the lines you’re going to say is so relatable and realistic, and you’re just going to say whatever is in your mind.” There was one scene that shows how two families in the same neighborhood goes out to a restaurant and have dinner together, and everyone was shouting and running outside happily, and I thought, how relatable is this? I literally felt the pure joy they were feeling, and it made me so amazed with how brilliant the screenwriter and the director was! I saw enough deep dramas about life, friendship and family, but it was my first time to watch such a lifelike and a relatable drama. Although I could relate to the feelings and emotions portrayed in most of the dramas I’ve watched, I don’t think I’ve ever watched a drama or even a film that has the same conflict as what you experienced right that moment. When I saw the scene where Deok Sun had a hard time finding her dream, I felt a pang in my heart because it was the exact same thing I’m dealing with right now. I thought Reply 1988 would only be great and relatable to those who lived in that period of time, but as someone who was born in the early 2000s, I just think this drama discusses so many problems that still happen today.
I usually thank all the directors, the screenwriters and all the staff and casts involved in the end, but I really really want to thank everyone involved in this drama. For the casting directors, thank you. Thank you for picking beautiful actors and actresses and those that really fit with each of their characters. For the casts, namely Lee Hyeri, Ryu Junyeol, Go Kyungpyo, Lee Donghwi, Park Bogum, Ryu Hyeyoung, Ahn Jaehong, Choi Sungwon, Ra Miran, Sung Dongil, Lee Sungkyun, Lee Ilhwa, Kim Sunyoung, Choi Moosung and Yoo Jaemyeong and our little Kim Seol, thank you for bringing the characters to life. Thank you for acting out Deoksun, Jungpal, Sunwoo, Dongryong, Taek, Bora, Jungbong, Noeul, baby Jinjoo and all of the characters so perfectly for us! You did so so well and for that, I thank you. Kudos for all the directors and the screenwriters for the amazing storyline and for the idea to use the parents’ casts’ real name for their characters—it really helped me know each of the talented actors and actresses name better! Kudos as well to all the editors who worked so hard and managed to give us beautiful illustrations, and beautiful editings that brings a big smile to my face everytime I watch them.
No drama has ever made me cry this much, laugh this much, smile this much and hurt this much. It was super hard to say goodbye to this drama, albeit painful to watch at times. Since I watched this drama long after it ended, I knew who end up with who, all the sad scenes, even the alternate endings which I’m grateful it didn’t end that way. Love triangles are one of the things I don’t enjoy watching, moreover if there are no clear reasons to hate the SML, so I really tried my best to like the FML more, but I clearly failed at this one. The only problem I had with this drama is the way it ended for the SML, who clearly don’t deserve all that painful scenes. But it’s okay, all the happy family scenes showed in the end was all worth it, and it clearly made up all those painful and tearful scenes I had to watch in the last few episodes.
The balance between the sad scenes and the funny scenes are awesome! The transition between all that tearful scenes, the heartfelt scenes and all those painful scenes to the funny scenes and that ridiculously happy scenes were just so smooth. It’s like one minute you cry your eyes out watching a really touching scene, then a funny character like Mr Yoo or Dong Ryong comes up and does something funny. I’m thankful for those funny characters, because without them, I’m not going to be able to sleep well at night, because I’ll still be crying thinking of the scene.
Lastly, let me talk about the music. The music was just amazing! If I could rate more than 10 for the music, I definitely will! I am one to enjoy 80s music to begin with, so the OSTs and all the retro musics picked for this drama just fits well with my taste—Nothing’s Gonna Change My Love For You, How Deep is Your Love, Time of My Life, I Just Called to Say I Love You, Right Here Waiting, Can’t Take My Eyes Off You. Some of the OSTs was a remake of old songs which I know some of it and loved them—Purple Rain and Don’t Worry.
For those of you who plans on watching this, prepare your hearts! Prepare tissues as well. Hang on tight because you might fall off your seats and your belly might hurt from laughing. You might also wake up with swollen eyes because you’ll cry your eyes out watching heartfelt and relatable scenes. But you’re not going to regret watching this drama one bit! Everything was just the way I liked them: dramatic but meaningful. “I can’t go back to my youth, or to this street. They are both the same. Time will always flow. Everything will pass by. Everything will age. That might be why youth is beautiful. It shines blindingly bright, for just an instant. But, to it, you can never go back. A time when many tears were shed. The time of my youth was like that as well… To the things that are already gone, to a time that had already passed, I want to say a belated farewell. Goodbye, my youth. Goodbye, Ssangmundong.” Goodbye Reply 1988! Welcome to my top 3! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
