The Thai version of RPDR really appealed to me. Right from the first episode, a different competitive mentality was breathed on me, where individuals competed with each other, but at the same time, you could feel the undefined Buddhist spirituality, as they wish for each other, without grudges. In my opinion, as Jiřík writes, it was the best first series of all Drag Race. It seemed to me that the contestants didn't even deserve to be eliminated in the first or second round, but the jury always had to choose someone. In addition, the guest judges in the individual parts enjoyed everything immensely, they cheered for the contestants, they applauded, it was not as commissary as the American version.
In my opinion, Dearis Doll was the most handsome man among the participants, to the point where I felt sorry that he was changing such a beautiful face into a drag queen image, perhaps the Thai filmmakers noticed him as well, his success was making it to the finals, but there for more than the finals he did not have third place.
Natalia Pliacam - the winner, and this could probably only happen in Thailand. Natalia is of Chinese origin and is a coffin merchant and in civilian clothes he looks like an ugly fat bespectacled man and even older than he actually is (37). Maybe they would pick him up in the first round elsewhere. This competitor completely believed in himself and approached the competitions with logic and perspective in every round, and I couldn't even believe where the "something" in him came from.
Amadiva and Petchra - these two contestants impressed me with their warmth, creativity and elegance, and Meannie Minaj with Bunny Be Fly - I'm sorry for them that they were eliminated first, although they didn't have to, there was simply no clearly weaker contestant.
Morrigan - the controversial youngest contestant at eighteen had a tough time in a company that recognizes the older and more experienced, but still pushed through to the third round.
B Ella - a Thai elephant of larger dimensions, was the most humane competitor in the entire starting block and made it to the gates of the finals.
Jaja - this native Filipino was the least likable contestant for me, but that's just my impression, maybe it was just a tactic to hide behind a clown mask.
Annee Maywong - the most beautiful and elegant "woman", moreover, she could dance, fought for the victory with Natalya in the final until the last moment, but the jury was clear that only these two qualities are not enough, in my opinion both could have won.
P'Art took on the role of moderator and chief judge well, then led the entire final brilliantly, maybe he could use more smile, positivity and sometimes a different style of visage. For that, Pan Pan, the second permanent judge, was charming as a man and as a woman, and optimism emanated from him in all directions, just look on the net, what a beautiful man or a beautiful "woman" he is, and his performance at the beginning of the final was famous.
