We enjoyed every moment of this masterpiece
They did it...
"Rurouni Kenshin: The Beginning" is the final and greatest masterpiece in the franchise. By telling the tale story of how it began, it ties the series with a perfect bow and solidifies it as one of the best cinematic sagas ever made. It feels completely different to every other entry. It thrives on the fact that, aside from the first movie, this is the only one that can be seen completely by itself, and at the same time it rewards whoever watched all the other 4 movies first. It's clear why they wanted to make this the last one; it's the complete deconstruction of Kenshin's character and reconstruction into who he is in the other movies. It's darker, more grounded, and the action is the most brutal. Otomo and Tanigaki build the action completely differently in this one, and that statement is made right in the opening sequence. It's fast and bloody, but it's also more conditional, and more in service of how it scars the protagonist emotionally. You don't get typical action cues from the score whenever those sequences play out; instead they're slower, deeper, building towards something more than the action itself. The very way it's shot is different. The cinematography sets an entirely different mood with a grainy look and less vibrant color grading. It's brilliant use of language to achieve a stark contrast with the rest of the series.
At the center of such brutality, the love story between Kenshin and Tomoe... Which proves to be the heart and soul to not only this movie, but the entire franchise. It makes a few very slight changes that improve on the source material; Tomoe's character is the film's main driving force and Kasumi Arimura steals the show with her performance. It's a heart-aching gut punch to watch it unfold even if you know how it ultimately ends. Takeru Sato also delivers his deepest performance as Kenshin, as you see the roots and foundations of his character that you'll now be able to recognize watching the previous movies. And by the end of the snowfall, there's no doubt left as to why Kenshin will never kill again.
Here it ends. Here it begins. History was made.

Biggest new
Squid Game is one of the most exciting series to hit Netflix in some time. It mashes up the carefree, idyllic days of childhood with the brutal realism of adulthood as it forces everyday people to compete in life or death matches in a bid to potentially wipe out their debts. Equal parts gut-wrenching and squirm-inducing, it’s a white-knuckle thriller, drama, and episodic psychological breakdown with a sickly pastel veneer. It’s one of the most unique things you’ll watch this year -- and maybe ever.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
Good
overall, The Final is a relatively loose adaptation of the source material. While it has the same antagonist, themes, and basic story structure, it is largely its own story—which is probably for the best. In the original Rurouni Kenshin manga, this arc took 10 full volumes to cover. (The previous arc, which got two films dedicated to it, took 11.) Trying to cram all this into a single film would have been a fool's errandVisually, the film is wonderful. The fights are masterpieces of choreographed combat with little-to-no CG to be found. The wire-fu is used in just the right amount to make our heroes and villains seem superhuman but not cartoonish. If you enjoy practical effects, you're going to love the care and attention that went into them in this film.

Definitely worthy to watch
A TAXI DRIVER, without a second thought, is the best South Korean film We've seen till date. From narration to execution to performances to presentation: it's perfect in each and every aspect. The change in the tone of the film has been brought up extremely well, thanks to its director Jang Hoon. The screenplay is never disappointing throughout, and the film comes out as both a refreshing as well as a memorable experience. The film's editing is top notch as it doesn't take much of time to introduce and set up the characters as well as the storyline. As the film progresses, you find yourself connected to the characters, especially the ones of Song Kang-ho and Thomas Kretschmann. Both actors have delivered extremely excellent performances, and rather so excellent that I ended up rooting for them completely. When they smiled, we smiled. When they cried, we cried too. Rest of the supporting cast, especially Ryu Jun-yeol and Yu Hae-jin deserve a lot of praise.
There are plenty of emotional sequences which make the film a totally unforgettable experience. Watch the film and you won't find it difficult to guess which scenes we're talking about. Various emotional, thrilling as well as action packed sequences have been elevated by the brilliant music.
A TAXI DRIVER is a hard-hitting film which must be seen not just for its overall excellence but also for the message it delivers to its viewers. It's hard and almost impossible to forget the film, as you're left highly emotional & impressed by the time the credits start to roll. In short, a perfect masterpiece from South Korea

If you want to watch a series for fun, this is for you
This K-drama, "Zombie Detective", with Choi Jin Hyuk and Park Ju Hyun, was amazingly different, and winner. We loved this show, from the first episode through the 24th episode, always so appreciating the unusual take that the writers came up with, in creating this character. So very interesting, and many funny moments. To the writers, directors, and producers of "Zombie Detective", honestly, 24 episodes is not enough. Please don't leave us hanging, do whatever it takes to get these actors and actresses re-signed for at least one more season.
In the middle of am isolated worldwide Pandemic, your show has helped many People smile and enjoy themselves. Thank you for caring about the Viewers, and have a good rest of the year

An ending that is far more impactful, and ultimately improves upon its
A reflective first act may prove to be too slow for some viewers, but these moments contain the most imperative lessons for Kenshin in the entire trilogy. This film contains-easily one of the greatest third acts We've ever seen, and any martial arts/action film buff worth their salt needs to see this film. Once again We applaud Satoh Takeru, Tatsuya Fujiwara, Kenji Tanigaki and the rest for the unbelievable devotion to realizing these dynamic characters as authentically as possible. Aside from some character development gripes, the assuredness of direction, cinematography, pacing, acting-chops, choreography and perhaps most importantly, appreciation for the source material, it's lessons and essence, this is easily one of the best, ( if not the best) in contemporary Japanese action cinema. This trilogy was seriously on point. Purists open your eyes: this is what all adaptations should strive to achieve, creating an ending that is far more impactful, and ultimately improves upon its source. unparalleled fight choreography.

This is also confirmed to be a great movie.
This is also confirmed to be a great movie. The filming and editing are sublime. We could easily notice on one of the big fights, the still burning ashes floating around the scene, giving us instant flashbacks to the anime. Really nice touch.
The action is great. Himura is perfectly portrayed, with all of his goofy nuances, deep honor, shame, guilt, and killer instinct. And the same can be said of the remaining characters. Sanosuke is as lovable as ever. And Sojiro is perfectly depicted in his psychopath childish assassin persona.
We feel like we could show this movie to people that have never seen the anime, and they would still love it. Great work guys.

one of the best live-action
From the choice of actors to the staging, Ruroni Kenshin is a great surprise and one of the best live-action adaptations of a manga. Expertly shot and critically written, the film manages to combine the best of the first four tankobons of the manga in a coherent and spectacular story. Everything is managed by dosing the best narrative and action scenes, directed and choreographed very well and able to give that grace superhuman to many of the characters involved: the killer Udo Jin-ai members of Oniwabanshu up to the same Kenshin. There is no shortage of ironic and funny moments that manage to play down the tone of the film, bringing it closer to those of the manga and anime rather than the dramatic and dark ones of the OAV. Definitely a film that does justice to the manga of Nobuhiro Watsuki and that will delight the many fans. Appreciated the choice of the ost and the song of one ok rock, the beginning, as the end title. We love One Ok Rock, and this could only make us doubly happy.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
All in all, We really enjoyed the drama and worth the watch.
Ahhh. Wow. This drama had one... unrecreatable moments and indeed storyline. It was really the actors that brought this to such the amazing drama that it is, I really don't think I would've been the same without them. It is so memorable that it's easy to see why a lot of people love this drama - the background of every single character is just so perfect, just the right balance of emotion and realism that each one can easily be recognised and known for their personality. We also loved that the cast of every class was just on spot - not all the boys/girls in every class are cute, and it shows that even if you may not agree with someone else's type/crush in the drama, you will almost certainly have one of your own.You may have noticed that for now I have just talked about the supporting cast (because they really are amazing) but the main cast is just wow. They really brought it together. I cannot see anyone else playing the part of Bok Soo or Soo Jung or even Se Ho. Espesciallly Se Ho- no actually, the whole main cast had just the perfect past that it brought the perfect amount of feels, not too many cries, not too many aigoo moments or even funny scenes. They really were amazing, We cannot stress it enough, really.

This is an excellent crime
This is an excellent crime-solving drama but it is not for the faint of heart. The crime scenes are pretty graphic and disturbing. The great tension throughout the entire drama is the pursuit of catching a very elusive psychotic serial killer who only preys on young women but always seems to be one step ahead of law enforcement. The writers were clever by shrouding the real crime engine in an envelope of mystery, by surprising the audience with the capture of someone who was caught in the act of trying to kill a young woman and who fits the profile, but his capture did not stop the murdering campaign. The sci-fi aspect of this drama adds real intrigue to the story but the real "WOW" element was the slow reveal of how the main four characters (I am including Jo Hee Bong as a main character) were unknowingly connected to each other in the past but their connection is revealed in this surreal future where most of the drama takes place.Choi Jin Hyuk, Yoon Hyun Min, Lee Yoo Young and Jo Hee Bong turned in stellar performances. The back and forth bickering and love-hate relationship between Jin Hyuk's character and Hyun Min's character were at times priceless and comedic. Lee Yoo Young was portrayed as a brilliant professor and criminal profiler but was a contrasting character in relation to the other main characters. She was dark and caliginous---cloaked in a very unkindly past which spurned her to want to study serial killers. Her quest for understanding the mind of a killer was really a deep cry from within her soul to solve her own past and hurts. The writers did a nice job in using the character of Park Kwang Ho to not only be the lead in catching the serial killer but to be the missing puzzle piece in healing the hurts of Kim Sun Jae and Shin Jae Yi. The healing aspect of this story was a nice counter-balance to the horror and intensity of trying to find a serial killer.
"Tunnel" is certainly an entertaining drama and one that will keep you a bit nervous through many of the episodes as the good guys get closer and closer to capturing the serial killer who hides in broad daylight.

Sometimes a sad ending has more beauty than a forced happy one
We just watched this drama and voted 8.5. Honestly, We loved Lee Rang's love for his brother Lee Yeon more than Ji Ah's love story. For us the real protagonist was Lee Rang. Now let's talk about the last episode ..
WE'RE SO PISSED.
We knew that Rang was going to die, but we would have preferred to see him dying during the battle, even sacrificing for Yeon.
But we don't accept the way he died, cause he didn't want to.
After a lifetime of darkness, where he wanted to die more than living that way finally, he found a place, a family.
He found happiness and was living that way also for Yeon.
Making him sacrifice that way... Was so selfish. Cause yes, he repaid Yeon for all he did for him. He gave him his life back, at the price of his.
But it was so unnecessary.
Yeon's journey was done.
It was sad, but he didn't die with regrets. While Rang died having only regrets.
Sometimes a sad ending has more beauty than a forced happy one. They forced this happy ending and Rang paid the price.

"I'm sorry for leaving you alone""If our worlds is not the same, I wil find you. My.. Soo...."
"Mornings will never be the same... Once you meet that someone who will be the sunshine even on your darkest moments"
Such heartbreaking drama. We lost the count of how many times i cried. Sadly, not every story have happy ending but is fair and realistic, being faithful to the facts, happened in history. The beauty of this drama is in all the cruelty and bitter reality it shows, how tragic was living in those years, especially for women. Even being royal wasn't better. It was horrible to see the royal family who used to be united, complotting, betraying each others, killing each others, in order to get power,The throne. None is completely good or bad. All of them act according to their desires. The brothers had been put against each others by their own parents, who never loved their sons equally, and this is what pushed the princes on being so greed and mean. The constant feelings of being in competition. The love story with Hae Soo and Wang So was so sincere, sad, loving, pure, obsessive. Hae Soo is the only woman who loved and showed him kindness and helped him, yet the corruption of the royal burden and the power, convinced him on giving up, even to her. The last scene where he remembered the most happy moments with her, brust us into tears.
We wished they added the original ending where Hae Soo and Wang So meets again in modern time at the museum/paint exhibition and he doesn't recognize her. It would have been great, but that's okay. It's been 5 years now
We always hope for a sequel
We won't ever forget this drama. Extremely emotional

Amazing!! Great story and the characters are well structured
This could enter the list of historical favorites after "The crowned Clown"Secret Royal Inspector is a historical drama that lacks nothing. There is a good deal of mystery, action, love, comedy. All enriched by the originality of the characters and the skill of the actors who took part in it
Kim Hyung Soo is as amazing as ever. His main character, Sung Yi Gyum, is charming, brave and even funny along with Hong Da In and Park Chun Sam.
The whole acting is perfect. You will watch every single episode without getting bored
Excellent acting of Lee Tae Hwan as Sung Yi Gyum's brother, Sung Yi Beom.
We really enjoyed his participation in this drama. He is really talented. We also recommend What's Wrong with Secretary Kim, where his role was really interesting

Masterpiece!!!
"Did i lose something?"
In our opinion Mr Queen was one of the best dramas produced by Korea. From start to finish, there was no boring part. We laughed a lot, We was excited, there was chemistry, there was bromance, there was a break in the stereotype, there were sad parts.
The ending was so sad/ happy. Cheoljong did noticed that something is missing from his Queen, especially in the last episode, he is trying to understand what he misses, without knowing that it's not a what, but a WHO. Cause he fell in love with the wild Bong Hwan and not the gentle So Yong.
So Yong will live a life trying to emulate what Bong Hwan did when he was in her body. So, in our opinion, we don't think that their relationship can stay the same as it was when she was SO BONG.
Jang Bong Hwan too will forever miss Cheoljong, it wasn't clear if he did fall for the King cause of So Yong's influence or not, but for sure, they way he ran to find what happened to him, how he didn't want to go back in the future and his teary eyes looking at the portrait....we really think Bong Hwan did love Cheoljong too. We was impressed with Both will forever miss each other, but while Bong Hwan will know and treasure the time they were together, Cheoljong can't. Cause he will never know who he actually loved.
So, to us the ending was extremely bittersweet.
We was impressed with Shin Hye-sun's performance. Shin Hye Sun is such an amazing actress. She played Bong Hwan's So Yeon so nicely, we fell in love with that character. And when the actual So Yeon came back you could sense it. The face of the Queen didn't change at all but because of the spectacular performance of Shin Hye Sun you could feel it was a completely different person.
You go Kim Hye Sun, our crazy Queen
We loved it, We will miss it.
