this was a little better than the first episode. definately way more entertaining, but this is supposed to be one of the best action dramas out there and there's not much action so far.

i find this episodes a little boring. i dont usually like this sort of exposition though. It wastes time, all of this information could have been conveyed in less time consuming and more interesting ways. i expected not to like the set up episode though, it doesnt deter me from watching the rest of the drama.
on the technical side i dont like the camera work. i think they were going for edgy and didnt make it there. it whips around, is shakey in spots. the opening action sequence suffers from this badly, coming off confused and jumbled rather than conveying the intensity of the situation. the tight close ups arent set up properly so it feels like part of the screen has been cropped out, like wathcing a wide screen movie on a standard screen television.
i'm looking forward to episode two, from what i've read the real plot starts there.

you've been waiting 18 episodes for this and it does not disapoint. Zhi Qing and Ru Feng do an esp good job.

once again i skipped pretty much the 1st half b/c it's just really not my thing but the rest of the epsisode was good.

the show is holding it's own and is entertaining. it's nothing earth shattering or special but nearing the half way mark i'm not regretting the time i've invested though i'm REALLY starting to wonder how they can drag this thing out for 22 more episodes!

i'll admitt i skipped about half of this. this episodes gets very "barbie and the masquerade ball" but again, if you are a fan of mandarian language dramas it should not surprise you, you've seen this episode coming for a while now. if this is your 1st M-drama, i assure you, it will not be like this for the rest of the show. dont drop it b/c of Miko (barbie's asain friend)

ohhh all the angsty misunderstandings. a drama addict's dream i tell you! as much as teh whole princess thing chaffs me i am looking forward to seeing how they are going to pull that whole tihng off w/out revealing who Xiao Yu really is!

are just adorable together. it really makes you wonder how these two didnt end up together before. i'm so happy wthe end of the my princess thing is soon b/c i've been over taht one for a while now.

when you have brain damage and laugh when it's not appropriate? i think that's what's wrong with Ru Feng, b/c the boy just doesnt seem to register that other people are grieving Tian Qi. but he's adorable and is usually dressed like he just stepped out of Willy Wonka's chocolate factory, so i'll give him a pass. Still waiting for Zhi Qing to wake up and realize there was something seriously wrong with her relationship w/ Tin Qi.

predictable, yes. anyone who has a few dramas under their belt will see at least the broad strokes of this episode coming a mile away, but it's still a lot of fun to watch.

The 2nd leads are still no where to be found and i must say i'm rather liking it. their characters were fun and all but with such short episodes it's nice to really dig deep into the developing feelings b/w Xiao Yu and Xiao Bei.

Xiao bei and Xiao Yu are really cute together. we're finally getting a little romance with our comdy! Ru Feng is making me scratch my head though, i think that boy is bi polar.

but i am confused as to how Xiao Bei doesnt know who Tian Qi is. regaurdless the show is a lot of fun.

for realz, i think asain people are confused as to the purpose of CPR. it does not magically wake the unconscious and breathing. Any who...a very entertaining episode, though i am curious to see how this thing plays out b/c i just dont think it can really play out in standard drama fashion since Xiao Bei knows who he is.

i really like all four of the main characters. it's fianlly striking a good balance w/ the overacting, it's funny but not annoying. up til now i've been wondering why Wen James was even in the show since he hasnt gotten a lot of screen time but now i get the feeling he'll be inportant later on.
