Fell in to the world of Asian dramas in 2013 when my sister recommended The playful kiss. Even though I didn't like that particular drama very much, it opened up a new world for me  to escape into.  My favourites have changed over the years as I grew older I guess. The romantic tropes that I felt so refreshing at one point became cliches too unbearable to watch.  However, I still spent unhealthy amount of time binging Asian dramas as it has become my favourite self soothing habit.
