One word: AMAZING

Just the opening scene was a work of art and they kept this up until the very last minute. The cinematography is no joke! You can tell how much everybody values the details. This goes for both the crew and the cast.

To be honest, I've never been a fan of live-action. But this series had me captivated from the start. Satoh Takeru was a big reason for this because I think he's a very charismatic actor and became the embodiment of Himura Kenshin. The rest of the cast is truly amazing as well.

But what really had me hooked were the fight scenes. O.M.G... the pacing, the choreography, the angles... They had my mind reeling and I was constantly in awe.

Also the music was constantly ON POINT. It amplified the tension and emotions of the scenes on a way that made you experience them, like a truly good movie is supposed to do.

I really loved this. I love that we already knew so much but still everything felt new to me because of the emotions and the way the movie was set up. I also love this final glimpse into Himura's character and motivation. Seeing him through the eyes of Tomoe was very meaningful.

Tomoe was amazing! To me it's a sign of true talent if someone can portray so much in such a soft-spoken character.

A crown on the unrivaled and incredible saga that is Rurouni Kenshin.

Action or fantasy?

Let me start this off by saying that I love both action and fantasy movies. However, to me this movie was just a series of gory and extremely unrealistic action scenes strung together by a thin story line. It seemed more like I was watching a game than a movie at times.

At one point I honestly wondered what the genre was.

It starts of with a lot of blood. Followed by loads of falls and jumps out of windows, numerous fights on the road and a lot of zombie like infected people.

Also, the camera work was brilliant at some point but nauseating most of the time.

The acting was ok and I did like the overall vibe of the movie, the quality was there but it just didn't come to fruition.

All in all it's fine to watch it without having to use your brain and if you love action packed movies. Just don't expect an elaborate story or characters with a lot of depth.

The perfect drama for those who love pain

The reason I started watching this show is because I love watching ballet. I knew nothing about the story or synopsis but after a post I saw on Twitter after the first episode I just watched it without any expectations.

The best way to describe my feeling is: I was moved. Not just by the story, but especially by the characters. I could already tell this was going to be a crying fest for me and I wasn't wrong, so far all 8 of the episodes had me crying at least once.

This show keeps taking my heart on a rollercoaster ride! One moment it's bursting because of the touching moments, and the next it's breaking my heart into pieces! I have so much respect and admiration for Park In Hwang and Song Kang for making this drama so pure and intense.

I simply love seeing the development of their bond and how it develops their own personalities. They give each other strength, understanding and compassion. Their shared love for ballet is truly the most beautiful thing to see.

Also, can we please give a HUGE standing ovation for Song Kang's dancing?! His dedication to this role is out of this world.

As I'm writing this we still have 4 more episodes to go and I am both anticipating and dreading them, but in the best possible way!

A promising story that failed to live up to its potential

This could have been a really great drama since it had all the right ingredients and quite a few talent led stars amongst the cast.

However, it dragged on and on. They spread the story over too many episode, creating the necessity to fill the gaps with useless scenes and way too many blank stares from the FML that lasted ages. For the first time since I started watching kdrama's, I actually skipped a few episodes, it was the only way for me to finish the show.

The FML frustrated me to no end. She started out really well but after a few episodes she lost her spark and just became a weak and needy character. I would have much rather seen her as a strong woman who took control over her own life. A lioness instead of a little mouse.

Park Bo Gum and Kwak Dong Yeong were really great in their respective roles and made up for a lot of lacking scenes. The same goes for Jung Jin Young and Chae Soo Band who's characters and talent have been greatly underused in this drama. Their characters held a lot more potential than just fools in love.

All in all, the story wasn't fulfilled to it's potential but it's definitely not the worst drama I've seen.

It's not a 10/10 for me but I would definitely recommend watching it for something light and funny!

Ok so first of all I want to say that this show made me laugh until my stomach ached numerous times! I started watching because it was featured on the Swoonflix and it looked like a lot of fun.

At first I really liked Kim Bok Joo, she was very relatable and I was eager to see her growth. But then around episode 10 I just got annoyed by her. Even though her actions were understandable, she was also becoming quite inconsiderate and lost a lot of her charm. All the crying, whining and complaining and such, I just really stopped liking her. Around episode 14 she started to redeem herself a tiny bit but to me she stayed a bit selfish and kept making everything about her, even Joon Hyung's pain. It's a shame because her character had a lot more potential.

The main reason I still liked watching it was because of Jung Joon Hyung. Not only did he make me laugh out loud all the time, he also showed a very soft and caring side. He kept taking care of Bok Joo despite his own issues. His character might seem a bit superficial at first but he has a lot of depth. One thing that stood out to me early on was his honesty towards himself, his psychiatrist and above all, his ex girlfriend. No games or whatever, just candid honesty. And the fact that he didn't tell his parents about the cards and gift just made him all the more likable. Because it was hard on him too and be came from a place of love. He is the type of guy that once you've become his friend, he will walk through fire for you. But that's also why I felt bad for him, because he kept on giving and giving and giving.

Of all the side characters Nan Hee and Il Joo stood out the most. As did Bok Joo's father. They all carried a certain form of unconditional love.

Besides the cute romance, it was the power of friendship and family that made me truly love this drama. The way Sun Ok and Nan Hee would go through hell and back again for Bok Joo, they always had her back. It was truly heartwarming. The same goes for Il Joo and Joon Hyung. Also, can we just give extra love and respect to Joon Hyung's parents?! They raised him with so much love. His brother was cute as well! A bit slow but cute nonetheless ;-)

It's not a 10/10 for me but I would definitely recommend watching it for something light and funny!
