So, i came to watch this with high expectations given the rating... But it's really not much to see, unless you have a lot of free time on your hands. First of all, i'd say they miscast the main leads, i totally cannot relate to their characters and i cannot see any chemistry, though obviously they are both very good in their own parts. Still something is really off... The illusion of life is hardly there, despite the realistic details and the slow pace of the drama.
Second, the drama is packed with tropes and nonsensical things, typically k-drama - like. The revenge story turns into love, everybody is good-looking and single, a generous well-off friend is always there to help, the leads by coincidence keep bumping into each other etc.
Seriously, for the first few episodes the FL just walks around with a gloomy look while wearing sneakers and a dark hoodie... The ML does the same, just wearing a suit and staring blankly. We got it, can we please move on? No sense of humour, just toxicity to a new level - toxic ex, toxic love, toxic families, toxic working environment, gloomy faces, depressing clothing, harming yourself, harming the others...
Putting it on hold indefinitely.
