I'm a 40-year-old man who spends his weekends watching kdrama!
No, I'm a liar. Every day, I try to watch a kdrama that I enjoy
Secret Garden was my first kdrama, followed by other romcom dramas with cheesy bits.
I can now proudly say that I have explored all types of kdrama, from romcom, makjang, thriller, action , melodrama, to tv shows such as Running Man.
As a free way of supporting actors/actresses, I began actively commenting and rating. To be honest, I subscribe to Netflix, but for series that aren't available on the platform, I use pirate websites.
Rating system, now to make it simple i only give 3 ratings:
- 5 is bad, watch 1,2,3 episodes and skip to the end of the series.
- 7 is a good, average score, keep an eye out until the end.
- 9 is highly recommended. Symptoms includes can't stop watching. I will finish in less than 3 days for 16 series drama.
I enjoy watching action Chinese dramas, but Jdrama has never piqued my interest. I believe the actors/actresses overact in their delivery lines and body expression. It could be a cultural thing from japanese drama industry. I love their anime though.
