My fav male characters are:

1. Mei Chang Su / Lin Shu in Nirvana in Fire (a marvelous strategist & unpredictable man)

He is a very special character to me. As Hu Ge mentioned in an interview, Mei Chang Su isn't just Lin Shu. Mei Chang Su is the combination of all 70,000 Chiyan soldiers who were wrongfully accused and want justice.  

1. A Complex character that elicits contradictory emotions.
2. Very intelligent strategist &  always a couple of steps ahead of everyone else. 
3. Has a strong network, loyal friends & followers.
4. Very good at anticipating what others will do & always has the end goal in mind. 
5. When things don’t go as planned, he is very quick to improvise, and he always does it successfully.

*Does anyone here in MDL know Chrollo Lucilfer (in anime Hunter x Hunter❤️) ??
He is the figure that DIRECTLY came to my mind when I first saw Mei Changsu >.<

It's because:

1. OFC from their appearance;
My first impression was both of them possessed an extremely deep and thoughtful gaze, presenting a mysterious figure full of grief and a very strong determination to carry out their plans and wills
-and yeah not forget to mention the FUR-collared leather which both of them wore ;) ❤❤❤

2. Both have very dark pasts & then became the real survivor!
Mei Changsu almost died and lost his family who was unjustly framed and executed, while Chrollo grew up in Meteor City, a junkyard where all of the inhabitants don't exist in official records, making it so very little people know who they are. As such, his background is largely unknown.

3. Both led the strongest and most famous party in their world!
One of the strongest martial arts factions is Jiangzuo Alliance lead by Mei Changsu while Chrollo with some other people who survived in Meteor City, formed the Phantom Troupe, a band of thieves, which eventually grew to thirteen members. With Chrollo as the group's leader, the Phantom Troupe became one of the most notorious and dangerous groups of thieves and murderers in existence, in which each member having a class A bounty.

4. Both are physically weak.
Mei Changsu is very weak, and the weak one will take a brazier out to roast the fire before winter. Although Chrollo is not as weak as Mei Changsu, Chrollo is only the seventh physically strongest member of the group, but he makes up for that with his high intellect, amazing strategical planning, and incredible Nen ability.

If Mei Chang Changsu was always accompanied by Fei Liu as his personal bodyguard, Chrollo always has at least two people with him, which is why Hisoka was unable to fight him. After he has admired the objects that he targeted and acquired, Chrollo sells everything. It is also stated that Chrollo likes antique books.

5. The BIGGEST similarity is that both are MASTER STRATEGIST! ❤️
Well, I've described that Mei Changsu is very good at anticipating what others will do & always has the end goal in mind. When things don’t go as planned, he is very quick to improvise, and he always does it successfully.❤

Other than that, as the group's leader, Chrollo is the Phantom Troupe's main planner and strategist, with pretty much all of his plans going off without failure. During his fight with Hisoka, he came up with a plan that gave him a 100% chance of victory. Chrollo Lucilfer is calm, cool, intelligent, and charismatic, as he seems to be a born leader and able to hold the Phantom Troupe together despite the volatile personalities of its members.

*Sorry for too long desc, I just can't help but reveal the similarities of my 2 favorite characters, & also of course because HxH is the best anime for me so far and so does Nirvana in Fire❤️

2. Ye Hua in Eternal Love (a cold and wise aggressive man ;> )

1. An extremely cold man full of dignity - he smiled with showing his teeth only 3 times! The other smiles are prestigious smile without teeth :)
2. So intense when showing his pure love to his woman - some of passionate kisses:v
3. Responsible leader - willing to sacrifice himself for the sake of many people  /__\
4. Very faithful & wise man - try his best to show his affection❤️

3. Han Shang Yan in Go Go Squid (a hardworking  & passionate tsundere >,<)

1. Genius, dreamer, & ambitious man.
2. Grumpy & bad temper boss, perfectionist, a very cold man with very high pride.
3. He seems rude, mean, nasty, but actually very caring, protective, responsible, romantic, & full of sweetness to the one he loves.❤️

My fav female characters are:

1. Yoon Se Ri in Crash Landing on You (Gorgeous women^^)

-Smart, intelligent, independent, easy-going, flexible, creative, and strong women. She is a marvelous survivorl! :D

2. Dong Yi in Dong Yi (Stunning lady^^)

-Clever, indulgent, wise, gracious, and ingenious woman. She is the fabulous Royal Noble Consort Suk!

3. Wei Ying Luo in Story of Yanxi Palace (Adorable woman!^^)

- An upright, strong, and cunning woman who is ahead of her time in terms of knowledge and reasoning.

Why HAPPY ending is a MUST for me? 

I have a principle that I watch dramas/movies for entertainment, enlightenment, and life lesson. It's really okay if the character's life journey is very miserable, full of sorrows, intrigues, and politics, but then it will bring them to a happy ending. 

For example, Ye Hua in Three Lives, Three Worlds, The Pillow Book was given countless troubles but he remained strong and fought his best for his love, Bai Qian. Otherwise, I would find its kind of strange if their love story is too smooth, for example when I found that the story is quite interesting but it turns out that the plot from mid to late episodes are too flat & I feel like its a bit weird because there is almost no conflict at all in the few last episodes between the main lead. This case is unfortunate since the plot is very potential to be further developed.

Therefore, a Happy ending is a must for me because it becomes my life motivation, no matter how heavy and as much as the problem, there will always be a happy ending awaiting those who struggle :)

*Well, sometimes I can't avoid it. So, let's just call it a preference  & not a must then~,~
