Action Packed Thrills
Shows/Movies with actions packed scenes that were just so beautiful and riveting to watch that they just deserve the spotlight.
Not every show with an action scene will be here, just ones I remember really enjoying, and not every show will have martial art-like action: there may be car chases, inception-like chases, etc.

1. Junto Com Os Deuses: Os Dois Mundos
Korean Movie - 2017
Okay... But when the chief guardian is chasing the vengeful ghost, and they are *poofing* in and out of spots on the screen with simple, but effective, special effects during their highspeed chase.
-
2. Sempre
Korean Movie - 2011
I am a fan of emotionally charged fight scenes... and Always is one of my favorite movies (actually not because of the fight scene >.<) so it won itself a spot here >.<
-
3. Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
Chinese Movie - 2000
I bring it up constantly but, one of my favorite fight scenes with Michelle Yeoh's character switching constantly from a wide array of weapons comes from this movie.
-
4. The Divine Move
Korean Movie - 2014
More dark and grueling than a lot of shows I watch (funny coming from how much I like action scenes eh?) but there's something fun about Go and their fights being combined like this.
-
5. Dokgo Rewind
Korean Drama - 2018, 20 episodes
I am a fan of quick, fight actions. If the character can slash in an back out quick, something about the fluidity of the movement is just a joy to see. This mini drama has that kind of character, although he's a side character, he's got the oomph to make the list. (Main character's fight skillz are real nice too >.<)

6. Hero
Chinese Movie - 2002
Gorgeous action. Just. Absolutely. Gorgeous. Action. Nuff Said.
... I'll continue though lol.
Zhang Yi Mou is brilliant at creating such gorgeously framed action scenes that it is legit candy to you eye. Hero especially has a very vivid color pallet, with the color representing the story from a certain person's perspective. Honestly, I think I was a junior in Highschool when I first watched this... It was confusing to me at first, but it's undeniable the amount of art that went into making it. -
7. House of Flying Daggers
Chinese Movie - 2004
Another wuxia film from Zhang Yi Mou (one of my favorite directors), I usually like to think of House of Flying Daggers as more casual viewer friendly, with a more clear plot. Still some of the most gorgeous fight scenes you'll have the pleasure of seeing, as he is just brilliant and making the right colors pop and framing everything.

8. Ichi
Japanese Movie - 2008
You'll notice by this list, that characters who have some sort of physical disability that would normally make it hard for them to be good swordsmen but hold their own anyway, are something I love to watch.
Ichi is blind, relying on her sense of hearing to completely wreck her foes. -
9. Iljimae
Korean Drama - 2008, 20 episodes
The beginning... the very beginning was great... and then there are A LOT of episodes showing where he was before, and how he got to be the infamous Robin Hood-esque thief we saw the first moments of the film. First moments, and latter part of the show are a lot of fun for those scenes.

10. Meu País: A Nova Era
Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
Did I mention I like emotionally charged action scenes?
This whole flippin' show is emotionally charged action scenes, and their glorious not just for the emotion behind them, but because of how well they are choreographed as well.
-
11. One-Armed Swordsman
Hong Kong Movie - 1967
*Cough* Looks up at what I wrote on Ichi's description. >.<
So yeah, second movie with that. I think it's actually one of the sequels I liked more, but there's a charm to origin movies, and I watched it most recently. -
12. Samurai X
Japanese Movie - 2012
Points for the flippin' side characters eating, and commenting on the food their eating, WHILE fighting to the death. XD
(Though really I think in general my favorite fights are from the 2nd and 3rd movies) -
13. Reign Of Assassins
Chinese Movie - 2010
Wondering if I should keep a tally in the description of emotionally charged action XD
Anyway, this movie is jampacked to the rim of brilliant fight scenes that move with the plot, not in charge or side thought, but grow the story. They build up to one especially emotionally charged scene, but each has their special hook that make them a joy to watch.

14. Seirei no Moribito
Japanese Drama - 2016, 4 episodes
I think the scenes I'm really looking for are actually in Seirei no Moribito II and III, but I'm lazy and can't remember which one, so just put the first in the series. It's just really fun watching Balsa swing her spear around and wreak everyone >.<
-
15. Swordsman
Korean Movie - 2020
Aaand our third disabled fighter with severely hampered sight threatening to go completely blind. Not only that, but he is a zippy fighter, going for quick jabs and rolling dodges, so much flippin' fun to watch. He is most definitely a sight to behold

16. Wuliang
Chinese Movie - 2020
Wuliang, although very short, included a wonderful fight scene that rivals those in many much longer series.
