1. TharnType: A série
Thai Drama - 2019, 12 episodes
I recommend this show for a more experienced BL watcher. It is very dramatic and has more adult themes. While the story is great, it is not a "soft show".

2. Adrenalina de Cores
Korean Drama - 2020, 8 episodes
I would recommend this show as a very visually appealing show. The episodes are short and you can watch the full first season in one day easily. The story is not a common BL story, which for me was very refreshing, and the acting is very good also.

To answer the first question you will inevitably have: Yes you are on episode one. No, you don't need to go back and check.
I can honestly say, I loved this show. I even got my mom in on this show. We hung out one day when we were both off work, and binged the final 8-9 episodes in one sitting. So I feel like I can definitely say I recommend this show, as it was able to hold me attention for that long of an amount of time at once.
I feel like it's only appropriate to give a warning that the first episode will hit you right off the bat with two people unaliving themselves. This is replayed throughout the series to some extent, so please be aware of that. I do love all of the actors in this series so much. They all have an incredible chemistry and talent, which I believe really played a big part in helping make such a difficult story more palatable.
In my opinion the most difficult thing about this series in particular is making sense of the family ties between the old lives and the new lives. Once it clicked in my head, I was truly shocked, but also I felt like that was intentional. I wasn't upset that it took me as long as it did to realize the whole family swap thing. The second difficult thing is the content re: the abuse they endured and the death. I can handle watching shows with this type of content, but it was even a little difficult to watch for me, not because I can't handle the subject matter, but because it was acted and performed so incredible well. I can't speak highly enough about the actors and their performance.
