tvN Confirms the Official Cast Lineup of "Hospital Playlist" Spin-off!

tvN announces the main cast lineup of the upcoming K-drama A Life of a Resident That Will Be Wise Someday.

On September 28, it was officially confirmed that Go Youn Jung, Shin Shi Ah, Kang Yoo Seok, and Jung Joon Won will lead the upcoming spin-off K-drama of Hospital Playlist.

A Life of a Resident That Will Be Wise Someday will tell the real-life stories, friendships, and struggles of professors and residents at a university hospital. The upcoming K-drama will revolve around the obstetricians and gynecologists at the Jongno Yulje Hospital. 

The upcoming medical K-drama will be directed by Lee Min Soo (The Secret House and Good For You) and the script will be written by Kim Song Hee who was an assistant writer for the hit K-dramas Reply 1988 and Hospital Playlist. The original team of Hospital Playlist director Shin Won Ho and writer Lee Woo Jung will join the production of the K-drama as creators.

A Life of a Resident That Will Be Wise Someday is scheduled to start airing in the first half of 2024. It will exclusively premiere on tvN.

Go Youn Jung, Shin Shi Ah, Kang Yoo Seok, and Jung Joon Won will all play the role of first-year residents of obstetrics and gynecology at Jongno Yulje Hospital. There are no reports yet on which actors will portray the role of the professors at the university hospital and if the original cast of Hospital Playlist consists of Jo Jung Suk, Yoo Yeon Seok, Jung Kyung Ho, Kim Dae Myung, and Jeon Mi Do will make a special appearance in the upcoming K-drama.

Many are already anticipating how the new production team will narrate the stories of professors and residents of another branch of Yulje Hospital.
