"Reborn Rich" Will Reportedly Have a Second Season Focusing on Jin Yang Cheol's Past Life

Lee Sung Min's character Jin Yang Cheol's story will possibly be revealed through a new season of Reborn Rich.

On June 1, various media outlets stated that Reborn Rich will have a second season and it will focus on the past of Soonyang Group's founder Jin Yang Cheol. Reports also stated that the director and scriptwriter will most likely be replaced because of their controversy before creating a different ending from the original webtoon. 

A representative of JTBC's Reborn Rich production team then gave their statement about the circulating new season. According to them, "Because many people have shared their interest in it, we've been considering creating a new season. However, there's no specific discussion yet on this."

Reborn Rich premiered in late 2022 and it easily became of the most talked about K-dramas at that time. The series also became part of the list of highest-rated series on cable television of all time. The K-drama is the second-highest rating in all of JTBC's K-dramas and it also placed second in the highest-rated series on cable television with a rating of 26.9%.

The K-drama was led by Song Joong Ki, Lee Sung Min, Shin Hyun Bin, Yoon Je Moon, Kim Jung Nan, Jo Han Chul, and more. 

Through this K-drama, Lee Sung Min received the "Best Actor" award at the 59th Baeksang Arts Awards.

If Reborn Rich Season 2 will push through and they will cast Lee Sung Min once again, this will be his third upcoming K-drama. 

Lee Sung Min is set to star in the upcoming series A Very Lucky Day together with Yoo Yeon Seok and Lee Jung Eun. He will also join the upcoming Shadow Detective Season 2. 

Aside from K-dramas, Lee Sung Min will also join the upcoming movies 12.12: The Day and Handsome Guys.
