Lee Jin Wook and Girls Day's Lee Hye Ri are discussing working together on a new law, K-drama.
On November 18, media outlets reported that Lee Jin Wook and Lee Hye Ri are positively considering leading the upcoming K-drama Esquire (working title).
Lee Jin Wook and Lee Hye Ri's side haven't responded to the casting reports yet.
The upcoming K-drama Esquire will tell the stories of lawyers who are working at a large renowned law firm.
According to reports, BA Entertainment will produce the K-drama and it will be directed by director Kim Jae Hong who also worked for the K-dramas Flex X Cop, Revenant, and Through the Darkness.
Esquire will reportedly begin filming in March 2025. There is no confirmation yet on the premiere date of the new law K-drama.
Before the year ends, Lee Jin Wook will star in the much-anticipated Netflix original K-drama Squid Game Season 2. Last month, the actor concluded his K-drama Dear Hyeri with Shin Hye Sun, Kang Hoon, Jo Hye Joo, Kang Sang Jun, and Jeon Bae Soo.
Aside from K-dramas, Lee Jin Wook will also star in the upcoming films Dark Nuns and Seven O'clock Breakfast Meeting for the Broken Heart.
Meanwhile, if Lee Hye Ri confirms her casting, this will be her second upcoming K-drama. This will also be her first time to star in a law K-drama since her debut.
The idol-turned-actress will also lead the upcoming series Friendly Rivalry with Jung Soo Bin, Kang Hye Won, Oh Woo Ri, and Choi Young Jae. She will also star in the upcoming movie Night Fever.
This year, she led the movie Victory alongside Park Se Wan, Lee Jung Ha, Jo Aram, Choi Ji Su, and Baek So Hyun.
