Netflix confirms the release date of "Hellbound Season 2"
Kang Ha Neul will reportedly be the main lead for a new webtoon-based series.
On July 14th it was reported that Kang Ha Neul had been picked to lead the upcoming drama version of the webtoon "I Will Die Soon" (literal translation).
Kang Ha Neul's agency TH Company shared their side regarding the casting reports. According to the agency, Kang Ha Neul positively considers his appearance in the upcoming drama.
"I Will Die Soon" will depict the story of a person who will have a new life that begins with death. The story will be based on the webtoon of the same name.
Kang Ha Neul got the offer to portray the character Choi Yi Jae. No other details have been revealed yet about his role.
There are also no confirmed details yet on when the series will premiere and who will possibly work alongside Kang Ha Neul.
Kang Ha Neul is currently starring in the JTBC Wednesday and Thursday drama titled "Insider." He works alongside Lee Yoo Young, Heo Sung Tae, Kim Sang Ho, Kang Young Seok, and Park Sung Geun.
After "Insider," Kang Ha Neul will also join the upcoming star-studded drama "Curtain Call." He will be one of the main leads of the series together with Go Doo Shim and Ha Ji Won.
Aside from dramas, Kang Ha Neul will also appear in the upcoming movies "Streaming" and "Dream." Early this year, he led the hit movie "The Pirates: The Last Royal Treasure" with Han Hyo Joo, Lee Kwang Soo, Kwon Sang Woo, Chae Soo Bin, and EXO's Oh Se Hun.
2022 is the comeback of Kang Ha Neul to the small screen. He last starred in the award-winning 2019 series "When the Camellia Blooms."
